Could it possibly be a witch turned into a demon or does that not work at all (it was just a way of obtaining of immortality)? If that's the case then I'll just stick to one idea and make her a really old witch then. (Or rehash my character)

@LancerOfBlueYou can read BurningCold's CS to see how his character basically obtained immortality without there needing to be some "demonic" or other worldly explanation for it. It was pretty simple lol.

There first was an idea with a witch, then I threw in some demon soul slavery and ending it with a quest for freedom which involved becoming a demon (for more power which conveniently gave immortality) and hunting her master to the ends of the earth. Making her land in Baylor after 400~ of traveling the world and getting cozy with the Syndicate to see what they're made of (after remembering them investigate one of her incidents during World War 2). A very long backstory but I guess something simpler could worker... I'll think of something :P

@LancerOfBlueI just don't want someone monopolizing on how mages are the only ones capable of magic. So trying to take advantage of that but then choosing not to be a mage anymore, it's not at all fair.

That's fair, a bit overambitious for me then I agree. So removing myself from the witch and demon scene, can I make a character who is a Siren? Depending on what you say they might either be a 'race of monsters' or part of the 'Myth' class due to their various origins depicting them as divine in nature.

Forgot to mention this, but can my character be the mediator/diplomat of the Syndicate? It would suit the type of person that I am going to create and eventually put into the organization, so I need the right away for that. A suitable role for a talker to help things move along peacefully.

This is a message to everyone and no person specific, but if you feel this message applies to you, then please do as requested. This game has a lot of interest, but I have only seen 2 CSes. The way I do my interest checks is that I already write out the OOC and the CS, which is the OP of this check. I don't open the actual game until I get enough applicants. If I don't get enough applicants, then I'm not going to waste my time setting up an OOC and IC if no one is going to be joining the actual game.

If you have lost interest in this game, then please mention me and let me know so I can take you off the Interested Players list. I use that list as a roster to let me know who I am still waiting on for CSes and I update accordingly.

As interesting as I think this idea is, I didn't really get the same level of enjoyment and eagerness that I typically do when creating a CS for a roleplay I'm excited about. I don't know why that is, but I just have the feeling that maybe this roleplay isn't quite for me.

@BurningColdThis is why it says in the OP not to join a game for the hell of it. You should only join a game if you are greatly inspired to make a character that you'll like. Not just...some random spur-of-the-moment idea.

@BurningColdNah, it just makes me sympathize. I've created a CS for a game before and then decided before even posting it that I didn't feel like joining/or just wasn't going to join. Like the inspiration was just there to make a character and then vanished. It'll take like 4 hr - all for nothing lol.

Still working out my character concept, which has become more difficult now that I see the level of scrutiny our CSs are under.

Still deciding on whether I want to play a vampire or some manner of human medium. I hope you don't mind a character with a sort of 80s noir style about them.

@Dead CruiserNope, don't mind. When I was contemplating a race, I, too, was contemplating a vampire or a Frankenstein. I still haven't decided lol. I already have quite the amount of important NPCs to play any way. So I may either just stick with the Director and Assistant Director or actually adopt a character.
