Angelwing

@Fubsy@Nikki Moonlight@Polaris North
The pack leader angrily stormed out of his den and looked around the area. "Why didn't I think of this earlier? Of course it was Crescent Moon! Now she's back near our territory, huh?!" he loudly snapped while pacing around the territory center. His voice was loud and clear around the dens, purposely to get the others' attention. "Pack members, get out here, NOW!" he growled to the ones remaining inside the camp. To tell the others outside of territory to hurry up, he loudly howled up to the bright sky. It seemed very angry, which it was, as it echoed out through their area of the forest.

When he finished with the howl he stormed to the highest point of the pack location, a large rock that stuck out at the edge of the territory. His claws dug around the rock, unintentionally sharpening them as he impatiently waited for the others.

Crescent Moon

The she-wolf didn't get very far before she heard the echo of a wolf howl. It was a familiar one alright. It was from the past when she was still a pack member. A howl formed from anger - and terror. The last time Crescent Moon heard that howl was that day. She knew what was going to happen now. Just like that day, they're all going to be rounded up to keep watch of her, to go against her. It wasn't the first time it was going to happen, so it didn't matter to her. But- her curious wasn't helping. She wanted to go back and see what they were going to do. She probably shouldn't, taking that the pack might be much worse than the generation on that day...

But she turned back, jogging using the same path she came from.

Pause. This was the only time she could think over her decision...

Then she ran back to the territory.

Luna frowned. "B-but, he said EVERY wolf." She got up anyway, licking his pelt back, then she trotted out, sitting on her hindquarters, looking up at Angelwing. She didn't know the name Angelwing had said. She didn't remember any incident happening. Then again, she was younger than most wolves who were in the pack, save the pups and the Apprentices. It was only a short time ago she had been promoted to Warrior. She watched the Apprentices come out and sit down, as well as the Queens, who were lugging pups. Luna smelled the stranger get closer and her fur bristled, involuntarily beginning to growl.

Kinow relaxed slightly as Robyn stepped out from the cover. Thankfully, it seemed it was only her who had witnessed the confrontation. On the downside, it was her who had witnessed the confrontation. He flushed beneath his fur, but his irritated expression remained. If he had looked like an idiot standing up to 'The Moon', then Robyn was kind enough not to mention it. She was trustworthy, he knew that much. But that didn't lower his embarrassment any less.

"Did he order you to stand back and watch too," he grumbled, trying (and failing) to wipe down the mark on his forehead. After a quick glance at Robyn, he cleared his throat and dipped his head. The closest to an apologetic gesture he could manage. "Help would be nice, though. Thanks. I mean it."

Kinow trotted back to the doe and picked up a leg. The scent filled his nose, his mouth itching to just bite hard and dig in. It had been too long since his last deer. The fact that he didn't even have to catch a fresh one, loner aside, made the thought taste even sweeter. He dragged it to Robyn, a new sense of unspoken gratitude filling him as fully realized it's weight.

A howl pierced through the air. Kinow's fur bristled and he dropped the leg, shooting Robyn an uneasy look. Angelwing. Pack meetings weren't unusual. But this howl seemed...off. He couldn't quite place his paw on what, but instinct told him that something was going on. Something big. Kinow glanced back the way 'The Moon' had gone. Something that could include her. He raised his head and howled back--a short confirmation--before glancing at Robyn curiously and picking up the leg once more.

Rymen frowned as the howl pierced the air. The feeling of unease that took seed since the mention of this wolf was slowly starting to grow. "Best see what this is about then," he mumbled, more to himself. Hope of rest abandoned, he nudged Luna comfortingly before padding out into the clearing.

A majority of the pack had already gathered, stragglers peeking their heads out of their dens. Apprentices and pups whispered amongst themselves, rumors and wild stories already in the works. A wolf-eating rabbit! A fox with two heads! A tree that could speak! Fables wrapped in a fabric of innocence that Rymen couldn't help but smile at. He passed through the throng of wolves, giving calming words to the worried and smiles to the uneasy. It was the least he could do now. His cheeriness cracked as he walked to his place at the base of the rock, his gaze flickering to the entrance of camp before traveling up to Angelwing.

Robyn

@Fubsy

Robyn's keen ears caught his grumble but she didn't mention it. She guessed that Kinow must be a little embarrassed with how he stood up to Crescent Moon. Admittedly, he did a good job. He was alone in the presence of a rogue, who he might or might not remember to be an ex-member of the pack that was exiled because she killed someone, but he still managed to keep his paw on the ground to protect the rights of the pack to the territory and everything within it. She wanted to tell this to the young hunter, but decided not to as it may be mistaken to just be a compliment made out of pity.

"You're welcome." The white wolf smiled at Kinow and then trotted to the doe, picking up a leg on the forefront and helped Kinow drag the doe. Much like Kinow, she wanted to dig into the flesh of the young deer then and there. She was not part of the Hunter group and it had been far too long since she tasted deer meat, mostly because of her always giving way for the elders and the queens until there was not a single scrap of meat was left. It was her mistake, she knew that, so she never really voiced out her concerns about it.

They unceremoniously dropped the leg of the doe as they heard the howl of Angelwing. When Kinow threw her an uneasy look, she replied with, "Let's hurry. Something must be wrong." She picked up the leg once more, just as Kinow howled to get confirmation, and once the male picked up the leg, began dragging it with less grace than before as she was obviously trying to hurry up. But of course, she kept in pace with the hunter as best as she could. Something wrong - Angelwing must've realized who came to visit.

Angelwing

@Fubsy@Nikki Moonlight@Polaris North
Angelwing would grumble to himself as he watched the pack gather along the rock. Wolves gathered quickly, probably due to the harsh tone in his voice, but the young ones kept innocent as expected. They made up silly stories as they talked among themselves. He wasn't going to make this a normal ceremony where only the young adults and up had access to the meeting. Everybody had to know. This was an emergency, and the pups have to learn at one point or another. Angel noticed Rymen trying to keep the pack settled and positive at the edge of his eye. That won't help for long. I'm sorry everyone. You'll have to know at some point or another. Knowing it beforehand is the best thing I could do just in case... he thought while staring at the gathering. He slowly paced around the rock as he waited a few more minutes until everybody was present, including the ones out of the territory. Angelwing wanted everybody to be warned. Not just from rumors, from the leader himself.

Fortunately a howl from the outer area echoed back to him. It was Kinow messaging back that they were still alive. It made him relax slightly, but that didn't mean they weren't hurt. You never know when a wolf could be hiding something. They were mysterious creatures. Crescent Moon was a perfect example of it.

Crescent Moon

@Fubsy@Polaris North
Before getting close to the area she left, Crescent Moon covered herself slightly in the smell of the dirt and leaves. Nature at its best. It hid most of her scent so it wasn't recognizable. The mark she left on the Hunter was also a way to find her. She knew that. And she knew how to keep it away so it wouldn't happen.

The she-wolf crouched in the shrubs nearby, watching the two wolves before her. The rust-colored wolf she knew as the Hunter, and another one with white fur. That must have been the backup sent out to keep watch on them. Not like she cared. She was more interested in the pack gathering howl that was sent out by whoever-leaded-the-pack-now. The Hunter sent out a howl back to confirm that they were coming over, then started talking to each other that they should pick up the pace. Moon wanted them to hurry up, too. She had to use them to follow them back after all.

All she could do was wait.

Luna looked up to Angelwing. Please, Ancestors. Let everything turn out alright. She thought to herself. She sighed softly, beginning to pant with worry. She has never seen the leader so worried, so angry. She whined a little, wanting to go comfort both Rymen and Angelwing, though she had no idea how. She was itching to take away this threat from the pack. Soon all had gathered.

By the time the duo reached camp, dirt virtually coated the deer. Kinow dropped the carcass by the entrance, lifting his head to gaze around camp. A somber atmosphere hung heavy in the air, the grimness weaved with whispers of unease. The tension was so thick, Kinow could bite it. Angelwing perched on his rock, claws sinking into the stone. Below was Rymen, his strained but soothing words disonating with the mood. Kinow gave them a quick and shallow nod, his eyes flickering towards Robyn for a moment. Then, with his mouth set in a taut line, he slowly joined the rest of the pack.

Odd glances were sent his way, noses twitching as wolves around him caught the foreign stench clinging to his fur. He saw Rymen open his mouth as if to say something, then, thinking against it, closed it once more and focused his attention elsewhere. Kinow rubbed his forehead self consciously. The Moon's scent was as blatant as...well, the moon. She made sure of that thanks to her lick. Still, he raised his head, ignoring the growing murmurs and odd glances.

Robyn

@Fubsy @oWhiteDiamondo @Nikki Moonlight

Robyn and Kinow eventually made it back to the camp. It seems Angelwing had been waiting for them to get there. She dropped the deer carcass, that had been dirtied because of the trip, and then looked around the clearing. Angelwing was on the rock, as per usual whenever he summoned meetings, and his deputy, Rymen, at the bottom. She bowed her head at them before trotting back to the others with Kinow. She noticed the odd gazes they were sending to the wolf - Robyn had noticed it earlier, Crescent Moon's scent on Kinow, but she knew what had transpired. Or at least, she assumed she did.

What she did find odd, however, was the pups that were present. Usually, they remained inside the dens as most meetings would not concern them at all. They were too young to understand most of it anyway. This must really be a big issue for Angelwing if he thinks that everyone needed to hear it. The creative imagination of the pups did lighten the mood, albeit only a little. She then sat down and then waited for the meeting to start.

Angelwing

@Fubsy@Nikki Moonlight@Polaris North
Soon the pack clearly had everybody there. It was a small pack, only around two or three wolves per higher ranks, and a litter or two of puppies with few apprentices. It was a sad sight. Fortunately, their size didn't determine their power. They were Ai Espiritus, and they could easily defend off one little loner, right? Right...

Robyn and Kinow were back perfectly fine. At least, from his viewpoint up there. They were joining the gathering and it blurred the ones within the circle. Again, it didn't matter. Everybody was there, and he had to give the speech.

"Now, pack members," he boomed from the gathering rock, "As some of you may know, there's been a 'newcomer' around the area. The scent is around our territory, and possibly within." His eyes shifted between Kinow and Robyn then back to the general crowd.

"Everybody should be aware that this is from a loner that has been previously kicked out of the pack due to..." He faded off, Angelwing's claws itching into the rock as he tried to find the word. "Homicidal reaosns." He made sure to use a word the younger ones wouldn't understand. Rumors started to rise throughout the higher ranks. Some didn't remember of course, but the ones who were there to witness it were sparking memories.

"Please be cautious when going near the edge of the pack grounds just in case they may be nearby. Before I dismiss you all, just remember that this wolf is highly trained in hunting and being hunted, so you must keep your senses up." The tone in his voice grew more intense near the end of his announcement, but he hoped he got his message clear. "Warriors, Hunters, Deputy, stay. Everybody else, dismissed!" Angelwing let the others part their ways, still hearing the faint whispers about the gathering, but didn't get down from the rock just yet.

Crescent Moon

@Fubsy@Polaris North
When the two wolves had moved on to the pack territory, she kept low in the shadows while following after. Any sounds she made only were an echo to theirs. Keep it steady. Quiet and quick. She caught up easily behind them when they entered the pack, others already gathered below the recognizable rock from long ago. The one she was promoted on. The one she was banished from. Instead of spitting out from anger, a smug grin crawled up from along her face, the glimmer of her fangs and bright eyes the only thing that could be seen within the darkness. However, the smile quickly faded off.

Crescent Moon advanced on into the pack territory, using the dens and surrounding trees to stay hidden as she listened closely to the speech. Of course it's about her! Why shouldn't it be?

The glimmer of the orange pelt within the crowd caught her eye again. Maybe she could try getting their attention? No, she wasn't going to turn it into some romance between two rivals.

Well, maybe not yet.

Robyn

@Fubsy @oWhiteDiamondo @Nikki Moonlight

Robyn listened intently. So this was about her - the loner from earlier. She remembered about it just earlier. Homicidal reasons was one way to put it so the pups wouldn't have to worry about it. Crescent Moon and that incident did happen back when she was just a newcomer. While the rest of the pack viewed it as terrible and expelled her from the pack, Robyn didn't really find anything too wrong with it back then. She still had the mentality of his old pack. So when Crescent Moon defended herself and told them that she acted in self-defense, Robyn actually believed her and wanted her to stay. She was the strong one - the strong will live and the weak will die. It was her old pack's mantra.

However, she soon learned that Ai Espiritus was nothing like her old pack. She always heard about them being a bunch of weaklings who couldn't take on another pack. Though it was only because this pack had a lot of different rules. When Robyn learned these rules, she knew that the other packs were only mistaken. This was a tight-knit pack who could take on a lot of others. She knew that fact now, and accepted it wholeheartedly.

When Angelwing told the warriors, hunters and the deputy to stay, Robyn did. She watched as the others went back to their own respective dens or do what they were doing earlier. Now what would Angelwing want this time? Find and destroy that wolf? Keep a lookout for her?

Luna stood, stumbling a little from how exhausted she was, and she trotted up to the edge of the rock. She dipped her head respectfully to the deputy and Leader. She then sat very heavily and yawned for the first time since patrol ended, showing how tired she was. Her eyelids were beginning to get heavier since she had not slept at all yet. She spoke to Angelwing, hiding her exhaustion. Rymen wasn't the only one to hide things. "What would you have us do, Angelwing?" Her voice was full of concern as she watched the leader's face intently.

Homicide. Of course. Because why not.

Kinow scratched at the hard ground, scarlet pelt bristling as the revelation of the wolf's past was revealed. The danger he sensed earlier flared up from deep within as a quiet panic over the previous events seized his body. He had met with a killer. A dangerous and trained killer, at that. A murderer who's size and strengthen was mo doubt double than that of Kinow's.

And she had licked him.

He lingered by the rock as Angelwing ordered, yet his mind still buzzed far away. She was an intriguing one, that Moon. There was fear for what she had done, but something else. Maybe a morbid curiosity or fascination as to who she was. He would keep an eye out for her, of course. But not before confronting her on a few things. He blinked hard to bring his attention back to the leader, padding a few steps forward and nodding respectfully at him.

Rymen

So that's why it seemed familiar.

Rymen frowned as he stared up at Angelwing. He had been barely an apprentice then, the pack a still foreign concept to his childhood in the river den. The flood had numbed most of those memories from his mind, but there was one that stood out against the fog of the past. A large black wolf, the scent of blood, the howls of accusers. Patchworks of mindful recountings, interrupted by the gentle nudging of a queen back to the nursing den. No place for a pup, she had said.

Shaking the memories from his mind, Rymen kept his composure throughout Angelwing's warning. If this wolf was truly as dangerous as she was made out to be, Rymen would not hesitate to track her down and run her out of the territory himself. But orders were orders, though the fate of the pack rested heavily on the wolf's mind. He turned to Angelwing, sitting up attentively and ready for any command.

Angelwing||Crescent Moon

@Fubsy@Nikki Moonlight@Polaris North
The pack leader waited until the others resumed to their daily lives within the territory, hoping that the little ones didn't understand the meaning of the situation. Rumors were common between them after all. He hoped that they didn't make up a meaning for 'homicide', the definition already being bad enough. Fortunately they were too young to make up something major compared to what the older, more experienced ones knew.

The queens, elders, and mentors, on the other hand, had to keep much more watch now. The queens had to keep the puppies from wondering close to the border, which was going to be difficult due to the curiosity and importance of the puppies learning from their limited area to roam in. The elders were already old enough and have a due date at any time. They had to spread their wisdom before passing into the spiritual realm. And the mentors might not have the opportunity to properly train their apprentices now that the pack was on the look-out.

Crescent Moon didn't have any interest in doing anything to the others though. That was her previous pack after all. She was blamed by the majority of those from the earlier generation. Was defense really a reason to kick her out? Apparently. She just kept to herself, mind blank other than the one goal to listen to the private conversation between the group at the gathering rock.

"Now, it's clear that you all will have to be on high look-out for loners, especially this one. Both Hunters and Warriors will have to work together keeping the pack safe. Hunters will continue hunting food, yes, but will have to stay close to the Warriors who are patrolling." Angelwing glanced around for a few moments, feeling uneasy all of a sudden, before resuming. "Sadly, as I have to remind you all, the cold is also coming soon. Hunters will have to be outside much more often until we have a proper amount of food for the pack to last, putting them at a higher risk. Warriors, keep watch."

The she-wolf tried to get as close as possible to the rust-colored Hunter while they were distracted, trying best to stay within her hiding area. She wanted to get his attention without attracting the others at the same time. Difficult with them being forced to have high caution, at the same time, being all grouped together like that.

The scent. Of course! The Hunter had the exact scent on him and was the only one close to her to truly know her smell. She had to get a subtle whiff of her scent in there then! The problem was that the others knew when a smell was different from the usual, and hers would be unbelievably close.

Moon took a moment took a moment to think this over, looking around the pack area. The food pile caught her eye, the deer directly on top. How about that, huh? As Angelwing continued his speech between the members, she slowly advanced on to the deer, taking hold of the closest limb then dragging it out of territory. The absence of the scent that the Hunter and probably the one Warrior would get their attention after the gathering. Fortunately it was ending soon anyway, the leader starting to end his speech.

"Deputy, Rymen," he would say while looking down directly to the wolf. "The only difference in the schedule now is that a Warrior or two will be going out with the Hunters whenever they go out." Angelwing paused for a moment, checking himself if he should say anything else, before jumping down from the rock. His claws were still out and sharp but he casually told the others, "Dimissed!

Perfect timing. Just as the gathering ended, Crescent Moon was far enough with the carcass with a good scent trail left behind to get some attention.

Robyn

@Fubsy @oWhiteDiamondo @Nikki Moonlight

Ah, so it was only just keeping a lookout for the previous pack member. And now they had to stick with the hunting groups to make sure nothing bad happens. That was fine; though it would limit her movements somewhat. She tends to run from point A to point B as fast as possible but given the conditions present, she was fine with sticking with the Hunters for now. Angelwing was right in being cautious though - who knows what Crescent Moon might do now. While Robyn still believes that they could've been more lenient in her punishment, moons have passed since then and who knows how much Crescent Moon had changed since then.

There was also the matter of winter right around the corner. Prey will be scarce again and they'd be forced to cut down on their meals. Her head turned to the Queen's den where the Queens and the pups were located. They needed to keep up the nutrition to ensure that the pups would survive. And to keep that up, they would need to eat the usual amount of meat. She mentally sighed, thinking how of how much they could get now to save up for the winter. She prayed to the spirits that they would get enough food to last the winter without anyone starving to death.

It reminded her awfully of what happened in her old pack. You had to fight to survive there. Not literally fight, but you would need to hunt your own share in the scarce winter. They were all locked in a harsh competition. The only good thing is that the Queens and pups were excused and were given appropriate amounts of food to survive. But they were the only exceptions.

Her attention snapped back to Angelwing as he dismissed them. She stood up from her place as the leader dropped down from the rock and then looked around. Her eyes were naturally drawn to the food pile where the small deer was. Wait... where did the deer go? She took a sniff to find out who might have taken it. There was a fresh trail of where the deer had gone to, and it was out of the clearing. She tilted her head to the side before turning to Kinow.

"Hey, Kinow." She called out, in a more hushed voice as to not startle the male. "The deer's gone and its scent leads out of the clearing." She continued.

Luna looked and frowned. She went to the kill pile and she sniffed. She decided she was too exhausted and that she needed some sleep for the nightly patrol. She turned despite her fur bristling and licked her pelt to smooth it down. She began to pad toward the warrior's den. She passed Rymen and Angelwing, her tail slightly down to show respect. She flattened her ears against her head in apology, as if it weren't allowed for her to rest, and she entered the warrior's den, collapsing into the little "nest" she had made heavily with a little huff. She curled up and closed her reddish eyes, trying to sleep. Before she drifted off, she gave a silent prayer. Please, ancestors, let everything be alright with all of this.... Then she was fast asleep.

Kinow

@Polaris North@oWhiteDiamondo
Kinow narrowed his eyes as followed Robyn's gaze. She was right. There deer had seemingly vanished, the faintest of blood smeared as if it had been dragged away. The dirt was slightly scuffled and, mingling the comforting familiarity of his pack's, the faintest of scents. Foreign to most of the pack, but disturbingly familiar to the one that stained the messed fur of his forehead. His ears drew back, claws scratching at the dirt. He could tell Angelwing and Rymen. He could get alert the warriors. He could track her down. Kinow glanced at his leader and the deputy, before back at trail.

Or he could be an absolute idiot.

"I scented an injured deer while I was out. I'm going with Robyn to see if we I can track it down," Kinow called as he stood. The words slipped out of his mouth with surprising ease. It wasn't untrue. Not really. He had scented a deer, and he was going to track it. But that wasn't his only goal.

With a small nod from Rymen, he nudged a Robyn and bounded towards the trail. He breathed in deeply the familiar foreign scent, a small growl bedded deep in his throat. Irritation made the corners of his mouth twitch. The Moon wanted his attention, he could tell that much. Why else would she go through the trouble of dragging the deer from camp when she could have easily taken it before? For what, he didn't know. And, though a small part of him shouted against this, he couldn't help but be curious. As much as he loathed to say this, but the strange wolf intrigued him.

"You might want to hang back a bit," he called to Robyn once they were far enough from the camp. "I'm not sure how she'd react to someone else tagging along."

Rymen

Rymen ducked his head respectively at Angelwing's words. His mind was already astir. He needed every warrior he could find on watch. Double the patrols, reinforce the borders, even post a guard by the entrance if needed. Anything to make sure everyone was safe. He glanced up at the nursery, amusement breaking the clouds of remorse as he saw the pups play-fighting. They knew little of trouble and hardship, and all of the safe haven that was their camp. All Rymen could hope for was that they stayed that way. And, by the spirits, he would make sure of it

A passing white shape caught his eye. He opened his mouth to call to Luna, only to falter when he saw the tired look in her eyes. She'd been up all night, and this morning's events were surely no help to that. No, he'd let her rest. But those that could, he would find something for them to do. Gazing around camp, he began to walk around, asking any warrior and even a few hunters if they could join a patrol.

Angelwing

The leader was becoming tired from the stress that he has been building up from the simple loner coming close to the pack territory. If it was any other loner, he would simply round up the Hunters and Warriors to tell them to keep more watch while on missions an patrols. But no, this loner was kicked out for killing another of their own. The rumors from long ago didn't help Crescent Moon's reputation either. Pups made up stories from what they understood about the situation. Killed with a single swipe! The strength of a wild cat! Torn to pieces! From how terrified most of the pack members were, some believed certain rumors, too.

Everything from those days were back to him. He remembered the looks on their eyes, the blood splattered on some of the bystanders, the smell and amount of blood on Moon... The memories and details made it feel like it all happened yesterday. Of course, if it really did happen yesterday, everybody would still be going wild by how they've been scarred from the situation. The memory didn't fade from the wolves' minds until months later after all. But now that Angelwing told the pack about Crescent Moon, many were having that same feeling.

The wolf thought to himself, looking down to the ground while strolling on over to his den. Sleep... I could use some sleep. He thought about sleeping a little after the sun was fully risen in the sky, between noon and sunset.

Should I really sleep after all of this? he asked himself while slowly dropping to his side.

No, I can't. I have to keep my eyes on...

Angelwing was sound asleep.

Crescent Moon

@Fubsy
Crescent Moon didn't know what to do after that. Wait near the body? Or hide in the shadows until someone came over to retrieve the carcass? The orange-colored Hunter from earlier seemed to be the only one that was on a hunting mission anyway. If he was there with the food, he would recognize the scent quickly and follow after. Maybe he would know that the she-wolf was trying to get his attention away from the territory.

Maybe...

She let out a snort from her nose. No, he wouldn't do that. Would he? Moon didn't even remember if he told her his name or not and she was already asking questions. It was a Hunter from her former pack, and now that they had that gathering, anything could happen.

Just to make sure, Crescent Moon settled down in the shadows while waiting for the bait to work. She blended in with her surroundings, but could be spotted after a few glances due to her eyes. That was fine with her.

Soon Crescent Moon could smell the faint scent of the wolf. Alone. That's good. There may still be somebody out in the distance, but as long as they weren't listening in like before then she didn't care.

Robyn

@Fubsy @oWhiteDiamondo

Robyn bowed her head and then quickly went with Kinow out of the territory, or at least the clearing, once she was nudged. She couldn't believe that Kinow actually lied to them to meet with the she-wolf. Then again, she was no better, not telling anyone about what she had heard. Maybe it was because she still had some semblance of respect for Crescent Moon, maybe it was because she was an idiot, or maybe because she wanted to respect the young hunter's decision. Whatever the reason was, she didn't say anything to contradict whatever Kinow said.

The white wolf wondered why exactly Crescent Moon wanted Kinow in particular. She could've left the pack alone again and avoid being hunted down by Angelwing, but she decided to stay and even go inside the territory (how she slipped in without anyone noticing and then slipping out with a deer was beyond her) to catch the rust-colored wolf's attention. Was there something special with the wolf she was accompanying and possibly protecting? Or was Crescent Moon just picking a wolf at random to interact with. Robyn knew that she would drive herself nuts if she continued to think like this and even then she wouldn't get a proper answer.

She was snapped out of her thoughts when Kinow told her to stay there while he proceeds alone. "I'm more than sure that she knew I was there." She pointed out. Her ears flattened as she went in deep thought about it. She then let out a sigh, "But fine, I'll leave you guys to your own devices. But I'll be close enough to help you alright? You know what to do." She then walked to the side and then sat down, ears perked up as she was more alert of her surroundings. She was hesitant to let the young hunter go, considering the possibilities, but if the hunter was sure then who was she to stop him?

Low whimpers could be heard from Luna's little nest and she twitched uncontrollably in her sleep. Soon she snapped awake, her ruby eyes darting around the cave as she was extremely disoriented. When she finally knew she was home, she realized her white fur was bristling. She began licking her pelt to try to smooth it down as much as she could. A low frustrated growl escaped her throat as she licked her pelt furiously. She had been there for her littermate's brutal death while they were both still apprentices. Her older brother had been torn apart by a rogue wolf while Luna had watched, and then the rogue had proceeded to slash her muzzle before their mother, another warrior, had intervened. A few days later, her mother had died of a broken heart, having lost the will to live. Luna had worked her tail off after that to become a warrior. She had only become a warrior about a moon ago. Her bushy tail was even bushier as she gave it her attention next. Then she decided she may as well do something productive since again she couldn't sleep and padded out of the warrior's den, beginning to help around as best she could.
