@SillyGoy Yeah, I uh... Idk. I thought collab, but maybe it'd make more sense for my character to arrive in a separate post first.

And yeah, our timezones are almost complete opposites.

@Jasonhero It helped a bit; the barrier is more geared towards plasma and other energy attacks than superdense ore. Out of the three Jason took the least damage.

Think I'll have to see how Mai reacts. As all I can think of is have the attack drones turn on Atty. For attacking Caretaker in a manner they are able to recognise. Unless Caretaker starts doing stuff on its own, but I'm unsure how far that can be taken.

Lol, I get swatted and half of my stuff breaks because I am pushing my luck... so I push my luck even further.

Get a signal outside, escape. Victory now will be measured in survival... also, there is a heavy hitter outside with enough power to destroy the entire base, supposedly.

On the other hand, if Elora lives through this experience we will no doubt have to deal with her again in the future. It may be easier to deal with the issue now, while her 'development' is still in the early stages. I suspect that the collars we were given to subdue the elite might be effective in shutting up Elora's Syncroscream, but maybe not.

So based on that, the most effective plan for us would be to quickly put down Elora and escape the station and combat area. Of course, that takes the emotion out of the situation. You girls in the infiltration squad were quite a bit closer to her than Zim was.

I mean, I'd prefer it if Serah lived too, but she's only 16 and severely traumatized. It was only a matter of time before she broke.
