@Weird Tales This is a great CS and I feel that he is balanced really well - a fantastic addition that I will be excited to interact with.

However, the slight detail of his parentage is... well... It's a little off. With characters like Thor and Loki, it kind if makes the DC version if "God" a bit redundant. There would be absolutely no problems making him the son of a God. Just not the God (if that makes sense). Or hell, he sounds like he could be a kid of Shazaam or Black Adam just the way he is. Just something to think about. :)


Michael is basically a creation like the Spector and phantom stranger. He isn't a son of God like Jesus, but more of a manifestation of The Presence power. His religious views are how he was raised. Also disliking something doesn't mean he will go off on people. He has to keep his emotions in balance

Hey, sorry for how long my post took to come out, Steam Summer Sale hit my wallet hard and I've been deep in games!

I wanted to ask if collaborative posts were okay? Can two players write a post together to speed up interaction and have a conversation? I've done it on other forums and mostly it's cool but I don't want to break and unspoken rule or something!

If the answer is yes, @Juno would you like to collaboratively write a post for Ricky and Biff?

@Caits I realize that Nightcrawler is not a teacher in this iteration, but he is Catholic and is effectively half demon. So it isn't like it would be unpredicted for this universe. Thor and Loki represent the Norse mythology. Lucifer Morningstar is already a clear nod to Christian influence.

By no means do I intend to make a big fuss. But you kind of already opened the door for this kind of thing. :P

So I've been pretty busy these past few days, I got slammed with work after a co-worker got in an accident. I probably should have said something earlier but hindsight is 20/20... I have a lot of posts to read through but I may post something a filler-y in the mean time, like a post of Gwen setting up her room or something. If any big events that effect all students (like a school-wide announcement) happened that would be nice to know but I can always find that stuff myself.

Also I don't think I got approval on Gwen's schedule, I only ask because I made it myself and I just want to make sure there are no grievous errors. @Caits

I just hope no one wants to be the child of Mafesto. That guy was the core behind the worst Spiderman comic ever. lol But yeah, there are some half religious things in Marvel/DC, but they're named other things. IE Mafesto is Satan, Stan Lee is God, ext... (Besides Dracula, who is a Hulk villain.)

And Heaven exists, its the '10th' realm of Nordrassil sealed off by Odin for reasons. Thats where Thor's sister lives.

Admittedly I know far more about Marvel than DC.

Hey, quick couple of questions (Jesus, that's a phrase I use a lot) for anyone who can answer them:

First, have the kids been let onto the school grounds yet? Or is everyone just standing outside the gate?

Second, if someone were to arrive at the school, what would they see at the moment? Like, student-wise? Basically I'm asking what it is that I should make notice of since I sort of didn't read all five pages of posts.

I think the majority of students are hanging around in what I assume to be the courtyard, or at least just inside the gates.

People are inside the gates on the drive. No staff from the Academy have come out yet. There is some tension between a few students, but some the most part they are just talking.

Okay. I've tried to be polite, we all have, but clearly something isn't getting through.

Yes, the character is great and well thought out. But I don't feel like it's a great fit. I feel like you saw that there are children of Thor and Loki, well established characters that quite frankly can still get their asses kicked.

The presence? Not so much.

He might not be Jesus, but the kid is a close second. And I feel like he's going to end up too overpowered and just... not right

However, if Yoshi and Vicier wish to accept you that is fine. I will go with majority rules.
