Yeah we're active it's just like Draco says, we're a tad slow on things.

Post wise I was just waiting on Kaiser and Lavul before I post. Odds messaged me last night and told me he's dropping out of the RP because he can't handle more then he already has with school starting up for him. On top of that I don't think I can really wait for @FrozenEcstasy anymore since it's been quite a while since they've posted or spoken here in chat.

But yeah. After I get out a post the pace will pick up. We've had a slow boil so far but things are going to get faster here so don't worry.

No worries on the slowdown. I'd imagine things tend to slow immensely even a couple months after most school stuff starts.

As for how it's going, Same old, same old. Probably gonna wait for the Halloween sale on Steam and see if there's any good horror stuff popping up. Might be DMing DnD or Shadowrun in the future, since some friends wanted to play and I usually end up GMing for the latter and have DMed for the former a couple times. tfw when you become GM forever.

You know this almost reminds me of those massive crossover fighting and strategy games. Where everyone does their best to stay faithful to the source material, and only bend it if it would unbalance the game if they did keep it the way it was. Like Super Robot Wars, and Smash Brothers, and Marvel vs Capcom.

I do have two more character ideas floating around but I think it would bog down the RP if I put them in right now

Question for all you guys.

What tone are you guys gonna shoot for? Or which one do you expect I guess. I kind of expect it to shift back and forth between tense, serious, funny etc as the situation changes and we get forced into interesting interactions. Also I'm okay with pretty much any tone except Edgy Mc Dark Edge, because that gets tiring :p

@agentnumalolI'm waiting for the Halloween sale as well. Which is on right now if what I'm seeing on steam is correct. Also I know your pain. Being stuck GMing every game is frustrating and exhausting. Sometimes you simply want to be the player and enjoy a good GM yourself.

The general tone I'm going for is mixed. Overall however I intend for there to be a general air of struggle and uncertainty. Everyone is largely separated from their world and things they find normal. There's a sense of wondrous discovery and adventure, as much as there is a horrible fear of what might be around the next corner or if they'll even live to see next week. That's to say nothing of the questions regarding if things can be returned to normal or if the 'world' is stuck the way it is...

Also I know I said I would post a few days ago but I learned @KaiserElectric has been sick and @lavulman is juggling work stuff. So I wanted to give them a bit more time. I will be posting tomorrow however, I don't like having things idle for this long.

Personally I am going for a bit tongue in cheek. It's why I went for both Max Payne and the Medic. I was thinking of at least one exchange between Max and Kerrigan (@FrozenEcstasy) would be chuckle worthy. The Medic himself comes from an absurd universe, and I purposefully made it so he could bring some of that absurdity to the crossover.

@redbaron1234That sounds about right. The Medic is pretty crazy and surreal in his own right.

I apologize for the delay in posting. I have a medical operation that I forgot about. I should be able to post after I recover from getting a needle/drill in the bum, which in my experience isn't that long. Hopefully @KaiserElectric will have posted by then :P

Sorry that took so long. I made a resolution to be a quick, consistent moderator...and then a bunch of bullshit medical operations and crap pop up that get me delayed again. It doesn't look good for a forum when there's virtually a month between posts. Thankfully this should be the last major operation for a while (and if not I'll do my best to post anyway).

How is everyone doing? I really hope you're all still on board.

One of my worries about this roleplay is that how I've set it up makes it rather...slow. And when players are waiting for a while to post they gradually lose interest which is very bad. So please tell me if any of your are unhappy with the pace things are going at and I'll do my best to resolve them.

I actually really like all the extra maps and little diagrams and details and stuff, so probably not. All the additional stuff makes it really charming.

I really like all the effort and description you put into everything. There have been times where you reached Novel levels of describing the environment, in addition to the pictures and maps. I am a little sad that the RP is progressing so slowly but... I do like your style a lot
