The day had been exhausting. If Alisea had thought herself weary after seven hours of walking, she hadn't the words to describe the aftermath of seven hours of smithing. It had gone well--at first. She had finished and sold the ten daggers necessary for the quest, only having one break during the process. Despite the growing fatigue that not even a short break could chase away, Alisea had continued confidently. Two more daggers were successes. The next pair shattered. Despite her arms barely being able to lift the hammer, Alisea had forged on and made one more dagger. She even pressed her energy--and her luck--with one more, but she lost control of the hammer and the blade had snapped.

Without the strength to so much as carry herself to the inn, Alisea had lain there running the calculations in her head. All told, she had sold off thirteen daggers. That was 351 renn. But she had paid 360 renn for the iron, and the 50 for using the Workshop. That meant 59 renn less than when she started.

Even now as she thought on it, it made her sigh. "I really cannot afford this hobby," she muttered to herself. Not on the margin, certainly. It would have to be shelved for a time she could collect her own iron--and not pay for the use of a forge. Still, she had tried. And learned. She took a measure of satisfaction in that. It was a new game--a new world in so many ways!--and one could only learn the limits through experimentation.

For example, when Alisea had entered this bath to relax, she had found it at the usual lukecool temperature. Wishing for nothing more than a hot bath, she had tried launching a fire burst into the water. When it hit the surface and disappeared with a sad sputter, Alisea had tried going up a step and struck it with a fire strike. Then another. Some of the water became a wonderful steam, that was true; but what remained was a warm, blissful bath that she had spent the last twenty minutes sitting in, letting the tension, knots, and weariness melt away.

Her other experiment for the day had been the rings--and the experiment wasn't over yet. After the failed daggers, Alisea had taken a true break: she drained the last of her waterskin and lay still until she could see the setting sun through the Workshop's door. The magess even took the time to open her menu and find an old PM from Karma asking about clothes. She had been a little sheepish for being so late in replying, but she sent back a short, If not too late, I would order a fresh set of clothes. Then she took up her last iron ore and tried to make something new: a ring. To her delight, three rings came of the attempt. That had sparked an idea, and with renewed vigor Alisea made one final trip to buy ore.

Her time in the bath was over. Night had come and everyone would be gathering--and Alisea hoped to pull Reylan aside before people arrived. Dressing quickly and making her way to Eden's dining Hall, the magess did indeed discover their soon-to-be-Guildmaster in his usual seat, tucked away in a corner. Her face split into a wide smile and she sauntered over to the seated archer. "Reylan!" she greeted enthusiastically, fighting to keep the discomfort of sore muscles from showing. "Just the man I was hoping to see!"

She let that hang there as she dropped into the seat right beside him. One hand maneuvered to open her inventory. "You said you have a good Art skill, right?" she asked, though her eyes were skimming the screen before her. In a moment, a small band of iron appeared in her other hand. Alisea presented the ring to Reylan. "Could you engrave, or even paint, this?" she inquired "The ring itself has no effect, but I thought it would be a nice tribute to make guild rings for everyone. I have nine."

Dubstepp arrived in the city. The trip to the garden and back certainly tired him out. He couldn't tell you how many steps he took today. The amount of walking in this game proved insane. To make matters worse, some hostile creatures were in the way. It was only given walking twelve hours outside the city limits. The musician chose to head over to the herbalist before heading to his room. After all this time, Dubstepp wished to finish the quest as soon as possible.

Dragging his feet, he managed to find the destination of the NPC. His pet walked sluggishly along with him. Night had already been made so the flower shop was coming to a close. Dubstepp got there before closing time. He was having a moment of short breath before addressing himself and his reason for coming.

"Apologies, I have a shipment of flowers for you." He took a moment to catch his breath. Afterwards, he started placing the flowers neatly on the counter. All fifty of them were laid out. Dubstepp counted them twice to make sure he got the right amount. Luckily, he grabbed more for his own purposes. "Here they are, in all of their glory."

Dubstepp felt a lot of stress release from his shoulders. The quest might have been his longest yet. It beat his last quest that involved standing around for a bunch of hours. The herbalist then gifted him with an option of choosing his own reward. "Oh, this is a nice surprise. I guess the health potion and mana potion combo. I'd rather have a restorative for both health and mana than one individually."

Dubstepp smiled more when he received 2 silver coins along with 5 copper. More importantly, the quest did give a good boost in experience points. 26 points in all. Dubstepp gave the clerk a smile, the musician was pleased with the reward. "I think this was worth the trip. I got more than I expected." Dubstepp admitted.

Tapping his chin, he then spoke his mind. "Is this how you usually get your flowers? There are only so few adventurers willing to travel 12 hours for a few coins." Dubstepp wondered if this was how the herbalist stayed in business. Players and NPCs would need flowers for several concoctions and other necessities. "If the quest begins to die out, you could invest in a trade route or your personal caravan. I could even help you tame a few horses for your party of workings." Dubstepp offered. He thought back to the other quest for making 10 friends within the city.

He figured if he could help out the herbalist a little more, they could become more acquainted. Counting Watchmaster Loran, he would have made a total of two friends if Needlan is up for it.

Theodore Smith

Eden Hall

@HueMan

The meal was, as expected, nothing extraordinary. Still, a free meal was nothing to sneeze at, considering Theo planned on saving every single nickel he owned until he could afford some decent armor. To be honest, Theo himself would vastly prefer another way of making a living, when comparing it to monster hunting - he was never in extreme danger, considering he allocated his stats in order to resist attacks and survive, but his party dying would quickly result in his death. A more stable form of income would be the smartest thing to o... but he doubted that his party would agree to finding day jobs. Eventually, the party came down and ate, before going on their own way. Theo, as expected, was still extremely nervous around the waitress, not responding to her compliment earlier. He knew that he would, in all likelihood, stutter horribly.

There were several options for what he could do with his day - go out and explore, look for his allies, maybe even hunt lower level monsters and get the party to help. Despite those options, however, Theo knew exactly the place he wanted to spend his time - Theo quickly made his way to the bar where Hans stood, cleaning several mugs in preparation for the evening. Using his acting ability, Theo made himself appear as serious and likable as possible - his voice dropped slightly, and he abandoned the loud tone that Dirk was known for, with his stance remaining steadfast, yet submissive.

"Excuse me, Sir, but if you do not mind, I'd like to assist you today."

Hans was slightly taken aback - after all, he did not expect one of those adventurers to offer help to him. They didn't just speak strange and use foreign words - but even their mannerisms and behavior seemed to change at the drop of the hat. In fact, Hans had seen several adventurers cry for no apparent reason just last night. To be honest, he had gotten a lot more business lately, especially from other adventurers, so the help wouldn't be unappreciated...

"Sure, kid - you'll be waiting on tables and cleaning up - just make sure not to slack off too much."

Theo nodded his head, before quickly making his way towards the backroom - there, he found a uniform similar to the waitress, albeit shabbier and made for a man rather than a woman. Quickly opening his menu, Theo changed instantly, and grabbed the small bucket and mop as he made his way out of the room. Upon reaching the Hall, he began to clean up some of the remains of what appeared to be a great night yesterday, judging by the amount of spilled alcohol. Apparently, some players managed to find a decent escape from their current state. Theo himself never enjoyed drinking - it was something he though of as a waste of time, money, and brain cells. But hey, he enjoyed working - it gave him time to reflect on everything that happened.

The waitress, unfortunately, only appeared surprised that Theo was working there, but quickly went back to her job. She seemed to be a good worker, and Theo was glad that he could avoid talking for awhile. It made it easier to keep up the act. Eventually (around Early Daytime), the floors were spotless, and Theo quickly made his way to the backroom. There, he returned the mop and bucket, and he made his way back to the main area - it was time to become a waiter. Theo never really realized the impact his low speed had on him, or the physical demands that being in food service had. By mid day, however, it had finally arrived - Theo was on break.

Sitting down at one of the Tables, Theo sighed in relief. It was less that he was tired, more that he just couldn't feel his feet. This feeling of tiredness and a lack of energy quickly vanished, however, as the waitress sat down with him.

"You'll never guess how surprised I was to see you!" The waitress said, her voice immediately turning into a giggle. "I always thought adventurers were too high-class to work in an inn."

Thanking his past self the he put so many points into his acting, Theo responded in his normal voice.

"I personally think adventurers don't do it cause it's pretty tiring... To be honest, I would prefer to fight a couple wolves then go through that again."

The waitress rewarded Theo's poor attempt at humor with another giggle, and he grew more tense than he was in the dungeon.

If you think that was, bad, just prepare for the end of our break - that's when lunch rush starts.

Groaning as he realized that hunger in the real world and this one followed the same schedule, Theo prepared himself mentally to ask something he never would have in the real world.

"S-Sorry for not asking yet but... What's your name?"

The girl curtsied slightly, responding.

"Julia Rott, pleased to make your acquaintance! But it is rude to ask people what their names are when you don't even give your own!"

Theo's mind raced, but with great deliberation, he responded.

"My... My name's Theodore. You can call me Theo."

Lunch was, as Julia said a constant stream of people. Theo discovered a newfound respect for old Hans, who was keeping up with them with ease. Theo would have been overwhelmed, had Julia not picked up his slack. Eventually, however... it was done. The trio continued to work, and Theo was struck by the rough sense of belonging he felt. It was nice here - he felt that he was appreciated. Vinny, his friend from the real world, was the only other person to make him feel this way. The time passed quickly, and it was now Early nighttime - The dinner rush hadn't started yet, but the place was still packed. Theo, out of the coner of his eye, noticed a man in darker clothes approach Hans... before pulling out a dagger. Quickly, he restrained Hans, and began to threaten everyone.

"If anybody moves, this guy's dead! Now, you-"

He pointed at Julia, who jumped slightly.

"- You're going to get all the money this place has made today, and you're going to hand it to me - any funny movements, and I won't just slit this old guy's throat."

Slowly, Julia began to move... Before another voice was heard.

"Hey, asshole."

Quickly opening his menu, Theo equipped the Abyssal Mask, before pointing at the robber.

"Get the hell out of here before I kill you."

Theo activated the Abyssal Mask effect and, as expected, the NPC immediately began to shake violently, dropping the dagger before he ran out of the Inn. Theo never would have expected that the NPC's, other than possibly bandits, would commit crimes. Theo unequipped the mask, before realizing that all the inn's patrons were staring at him.

Karma

After a day of marvelous success, Karma came to the front desk of the inn to pay for his stay and his daily bath. "I would like to pay for another night and bath here in this fine establishment's." He told the front employ politely before putting 2 copper coin and one nickel coin in his hand. This time he manages not to embarrass himself by paying with a nickel coin after wrongly assuming they were worth more than a copper.

Reni spent: 11
total Reni remaining: 1344

Karma attendance was then pulled away by a sound that indicated that he receive a PM from one of his friends. After making sure everything is set with desk worker Karma then move out of line to check out his pm. As it turns out it was Alissa, who ask him if it was too late to order. Karma then begins typing up a message while typing he begins wondering rather not it was weird for a guy to be making a woman outfit for her. Then he decided that it would only be weird if he makes it weird. Then he wonders if he should tell her about all the reni he made today. His answer: probably not...not yet at least cause he didn't know how they would react to his sudden fortune. It was either going to be badly or weirdly, just thinking about it gives him flashbacks.

@TaroAndSelia

After sending Alissa that message Karma then went to the mess hall to eat some Roast Beef and Chef's Special Stew.

✧DAY 4 - Nighttime✧

6/21/2076

4th day of Talrae, the Death Game, is ending. It's been barely over half of a week yet the chaos that ensued during the first couple of days is nowhere to be seen. At this point it seems like just about everyone has moved on to accept their current situation, one way or another. Night is calm. Warm, yellow lights fill the streets of Genesis City. Outdoor vendors have wrapped up their business and most of the Players and NPCs have retreated back to their places of residence. There are still fair bit of people walking in the streets still however. Some are looking for new places to lodge or to dine in. Others are simply enjoying the clear air. It feels fresh and clean, unlike the artificially recycled air you are used to from reality. Despite the fact that its "all in your head", you still can't help but enjoy your external sensations.

Avoiding from bumping to other guests, Paralyze smiled when he reaches the wooden table in the corner. After a few hours passed, Polak woke up to see that it was already dark. He stood up and stretched while yawning. Opening up the menu, he saw a PM sent by Reylan that said to gather at the inn tonight. Before exiting his room, Polak took a second to run his fingers down the disheveled, unkempt hair on the back of his head and pressed his hair down with his palm in an attempt to fix it. He went down to the first floor and saw Paralyze, Reylan, and a woman he hadn't met yet. Polak waved towards the group and walked over to them with a smile. "I guess I don't have to introduce Paralyze?"

Paralyze's arrival marked the end of that discussion for the present. His words marked the start of a new slough of jests to be used. The 'Missus' turned to the marauder and accepted his hand with a single, firm shake and a warm smile. "Not at all, Paralyze. Welcome." Alisea scooted her seat closer to Reylan's, giving Paralyze plenty of space to pull up a chair of his own. Almost like it was rehearsed, yet another individual--an acquaintance of the tall, dark stranger--entered the fray. With such an audience, Alisea certainly wouldn't miss her lines in this play.

Motioning for both men to take a seat, the magess smiled cheerfully and shifted ever closer to Reylan. By now she was only inches away from his side. "My name is Alisea; a pleasure to meet you. Has my dear Mister here flattered you into joining our adventure?" she inquired, leaning into the archer and grabbing onto his arm.

Despite Alisea saying not to worry about all that stuff she talked about, Reylan began to do exactly that. Luckily, or perhaps unluckily, Paralyze walked towards their table. He was glad to see the man from this morning approach them, hoping that he was inclined to sign the guild treaty. His little corner of the inn was suddenly becoming more and more crowded, not that minded all that much. "Yeah, just take a seat!" Reylan returned a smile and seemed to ignore the fact he and Alisea were just called Mr. and Mrs. despite not being anywhere close to being married.

A small chuckle left his lungs as Polak joined them "Yeah we met this morning, I guess you two know each then?" He had taken Alisea moving her seat closer to him as simply making room, not understanding her sinister intentions "Wait, what?!?" Surprise filled his voice as Alisea called him her Mister, he was quite unaware that he was such a thing. Before he knew it, she had leaned on him while taking control of his one arm. A faint amount of color found its place on his cheeks and his heart pounded "Um..would you mind releasing my arm?" He asking politely, his voice quiet as to hide his nervousness which it did not. Alisea was definitely messing with him, and it was working.

Aster

Health: 1,500/1,500

Eventually, self-frustration stopped being enough to keep Aster at the bar. She wasn't the sort to buy food just to keep herself occupied, and she was boring herself to death slumping over the bar like an alcoholic in remission. The rumbling of conversation was audible a distance away, and while people weren't usually what she sought out in times of stress, Aster decided nonetheless to see what the others were up to, if indeed the noise was coming from her friends. Huh. Friends. That was a nice thought.

As she rounded the corner of the divider between the bar and the normal inn area, Aster was startled to see Alisea and Reylan sitting... very close to each other. That was... odd. Were they...? No, of course not. That was ridiculous. She considered turning back around and heading to the bar, but a diminutive fellow had taken her seat, and she decided against it.

"Ehm. Hello, all. Is there space for me?" Hmm. Those two were quite close. Reylan had been saying something before, but she'd missed whatever it was. "Oh, uh, Reylan. Sorry to abandon you. I just got a little overwhelmed, that's all. Sorry, again. Umm, did you manage to get the guild paperwork? I'd be happy to sign if you still need signatures." She took a seat across from the two newcomers, averting her eyes from the apparent couple and the two new men.

Dubstepp conversed with Needlan more on the flower business. The herbalist turned down the offer concerning tamed horses. He responded by saying he usually had someone to retrieve the supply, but the person called in sick. Dubstepp understood and felt a bit awkward after his proposal was shot down. He then waived it off, attempting to strike another offer.

He told the herbalist if he could sponsor his business in the possible future. This resonated a positive reaction from Needlan; he agreed and felt that it would certainly improve his flower shop. Dubstepp put out his right hand and shook the guy's hand thus promising to come back with more Renn.

Walking back to the Inn, Dubstepp examined his inventory. He groaned at the sight of his Renn; it certainly was higher than a few days ago, but it wasn't something to be proud of. "Looks like we have to grind a bit more before we get serious dough, Totoro," Dubstepp told his fluffy friend. He then tapped his forehead. "Dough and Totoro rhyme. Got to keep a mental note of that," he said.

The duo walked inside and sat in a booth. Totoro took the entire side of one seat. Dubstepp checked the menu and decided to spend a little extra on food tonight. Once the waitress came around, Dubstepp ordered two pot pies for himself and the rabbit. Additionally, he wanted a water and a mug of ale.

Paralyze grinned as he heard a voice that he knew so well. And without even turning his back to determine who it is, Paralyze could already tell that it must be Polak, the knight of some sort. Nodded at the women’s motion to for them to join the table, Paralyze pulled a chair for himself and another for Polak. But then, what strike Paralyze was what she professed. The phrase [color=ec008c]” Has my dear Mister[...]" strike Paralyze’s mind and urged him to raise one of his eyebrows due to surprise. It is actually not that difficult to grasp as Reylan and Alisea presumably are just a couple that is too shy to declare that they are having a legitimate and serious relationship. And the woman next action only confirmed what Paralyze's assume as she grabbed her boyfriend's arm. Reylan's reaction also shows that he is quite surprised at what she just did there. So instead of choosing the idea that this is all but a joke, Paralyze paralyzed mind decided that the boy was just too shy to convey his affection toward Alisea. And without notice, Paralyze assumed that what Reylan said follow is more like a shy boy that refused to show that they are in love with the public. And then comes another woman, who seems to be shocked by what she just perceive. So now, Paralyze’ mind decided that the second girl was probably a friend that is kind of obsesses with him. Taking a deep breath to make him appeared as more comfortable, Paralyze said to the woman that is still holding Reylan's arm. After all, she could be the new Vice-Guild leader if Reylan becomes a new GM. Lowing his head forward to demonstrate his respect to those who are here on the table, Paralyze said to Alisea with faint smile present on his face.

“Please, the pleasure should be mine as Reylan here” Paralyze stopped while politely point at Reyland “had generously invited me to join his guild despite the facts that I had caused him some troubles.” And then, the rest is to wait for Alisea to ask about anything that might come up to her mind. After all, no one wants to invite a thief and traitor into their house.

"Um..would you mind releasing my arm?" the pinned archer politely requested. At first Alisea wasn't going to. She could see the color gathering into his cheeks. She was close enough she could even feel the small rise in his body heat as his heart began working overtime.

Then Aster stepped around the corner and took a seat. The swordswoman kept her head bowed and her speech meek--much as she did the first time Alisea had seen her in this inn, on their first night in this world. Something, though, was off. Alisea's focus remained on the swordswoman, only half-listening to Paralyze speak. She barely noticed she still had ahold of Reylan's arm, so rapt was her attention. Finally a flash of understanding lit up in Alisea's eyes: Aster's muscles were tensed. When that realization struck Alisea--and it certainly did strike, seeming to come from somewhere outside and push in--the magess released Reylan's arm.

That would likely help Aster feel more comfortable--but on the other hand, Reylan wouldn't feel uncomfortable. Maybe if Aster were to help, the magess contemplated. She could take his right arm, Alisea would grab his left... The magess considered sending her friend a private message suggesting just that. Ultimately, though, she decided against it. For the present she would let things lie; but tomorrow positively shimmered with possibility.

Slipping back into the conversation, Alisea agreed with Aster on which topic was priority. "I am ready to sign as well. I hope everyone else feels the same." Privately, the girl admitted her doubts that a particular someone wanted to be in a guild; but being vocally pessimistic could cause nothing but harm. If Reylan was the type to still be worrying about Kajin and Aura--enough so to dedicate a dungeon raid to their brief memory--losing another teammate would hurt him. That Alisea couldn't allow. Even if Dubstepp didn't want to join the guild, he would be coming for the next dungeon raid.

And he would use his abilities as a trainer to tame one of those wolves.

"So, Reylan? What is the name of our guild to be?"

For reasons he didn't quite understand, Aster catching Alisea latched onto his arm made him panic a little. What did Aster think seeing them like this? "Y-yes of course!" He spoke out to her smiling, managing just barely to regain his composure. His spare hand reached behind his neck, rubbing gently, as he let out small chuckle "It's fine, I knew you must have had your reasons! As for the paperwork, I got it right here." The free hand slipped back down from his neck and retrieved the guild treaty, laying it done neatly on the table. In all this commotion, he had failed to see Dub walk in. Karma, Dirk, Fortuna, Kven, and Sven were not here either and as much as he wanted them all to sign it together, he didn't see a problem with doing it now.

Alisea still had control of his arm as Paralyze spoke, he had figured she would have done more to tease him but instead she seemed to be lost in thought. For now, he would simply accept the position he was in "A potential ally should never be turned away." Reylan said with assurance. Perhaps he was a bit naive for thinking so, but he firmly believed it. The weight of Alisea's grasp on his arm lifted, his eyes glancing towards her briefly expecting her to say some sort of clever remark. Instead, she addressed the signing of the treaty instead following the current conversation leaving Reylan confused. The soon-to-be guildmaster had no choice but to let the feeling go.

Reylan smiled happily at the question, he had been excited to reveal the name he had chosen "We will be known as the Legion of the Wolf!" These words he spoke with confidence, an eager glint in his silver eyes. He placed the ink and quill he had been using next to the treaty for the others to use "If you are all ready, write your signatures on the blank page." The top document was shifted out of the way to reveal the paper he spoke of. While he waited for everyone to sign it, he decided to give Aster her gift "Oh Aster! I realize after we sparred you probably didn't get much out of it..so I decided to make you something!" If he had only gotten one skill point, she must have not gotten any. In his eyes, it was the least he could do for taking up her time. A quick few hand-motions through his menu and he sent the portrait over to her, the item's description reading [Custom Artwork], and hoped that she would accept it.

"Oh, well... thank you, Reylan." She noted the icon appearing at the edge of her vision, indicating the appearance of the gift. Custom artwork? Hmm. She reached out hesitantly and tapped the icon, summoning it into the inn with a faint flash. Into her hands fell an impressive, almost imposing piece of artwork. Rendered in wat looked like oils, standing proudly with blade held loosely, was a... very flattering depiction. Of Aster.

The swordswoman felt her cheeks growing a blazing red, matching the ribbon in her hair. She wasn't sure how to respond. She looked awesome in the picture, to be honest. Like a sword-slinging badass, with a katana and a lion-motif dress far beyond her current equipment. Honestly, it was what she aspired to. Her expression, too, was collected, serene, and downright intimidating. Was this how people saw her? She felt pride rising in her chest. She could deal with that.

"Th-thank you, Reylan! This is unbelievable! You're quite the artist! Seriously, I've never seen anything like this. It's like a mirror, but so much more awesome!" Her eyes shone with gratitude. "This must have taken you hours, though..." She suddenly realized that she was speaking over the whole group. She took her seat once more, hiding the painting in her inventory and taking a seat, hands folded in her lap and face pointed directly downward. She roughly grabbed the guild charter, signing it with a flourish that underlined her name and ended with a scrawled aster flower.

Paralyze smirked as he heard what Reylan comment about him and Polak. The boy has a certain charm, Paralyze think. The way he speaks as a friend certainly has its own weight. It means that the man thinks Paralyze and Polak as allies than strangers that he wants to fill the place or use as meat shields. Although having no problem with it, Paralyze does not like the thought of being used without explanation. Of course, he could ask Reylan about the terms and rules of the guild. But Paralyze is not the person that join these people from the beginning. Besides, the fact that Reylan invited them is enough for Paralyze to trust him. Not fully, but some.

Just then, the woman that sits across the table just suddenly stand up and speak out something about took hours and Reyland is a talented artist. Using his toes to guess, Paralyze give the GM a newly hidden thumbs up under the table as he just makes a move. Although there is nothing proud about having more than one girlfriend, Reylan's tactics to regain his friend’s trust certainly earn him a thumbs up.

But back to the main course. After signing the blank piece of paper, Paralyze send a PM to Polak.

With that PM being sent, Paralyze fixed his position as he waits for the others to speak. The sound of dishes and cups clinging to each other. The none stop chattering of the ladies about their newly found beauty thingy. The sound of man yelled out as he beat another man in an arm wrestling game. In the corner, unknown men and women drink for possibly a failure during the exploration. Such complexes. Such pure and sorrow. So true, but Paralyze knew this is fake. But he wished, that this is real. But wish is only a wish. Dreams will explode and vaporize when meeting the scorching rough of reality. And Paralyze will soon encounter his damned know too well fate.

But let no fear to overcome this fun day, Paralyze thinks to himself before drawback his attention toward their current table. If death is what he must see, then at least it is his honor to know these men and women before him. Smirk. Smile. And grin.

Theodore Smith

Eden Hall

@HueMan@TaroAndSelia@Ithradine

The inn was in silence for several seconds, and Theo was just beginning to blush horribly. He had ruined his reputation among the people in the inn, and he sure as hell wouldn't be liked by any criminals if that bandit talked to anybody. Hell, Theo may have just made himself look like an edge lord who constantly threatened to kill people. He felt like he couldn't be any more embarrassed, but out of the corner of his eye, he saw Alisea and Reylan. Not only had he just ruined his 'Nice Guy' reputation among a bunch of NPCs, but now his future guild would realize he could be intimidating.

A few seconds after dread and despair washed over him, a clapping rapidly began to his right - turning revealed that it was the waitress, Julia. After a few seconds, Hans joined in as well, quickly followed by many of the other inn patrons. After only a minute of applause, but what felt like an eternity to an embarrassed Theo, the clapping subsided, and both Hans and Julia rushed up to him.

"That was amazing Theo! You just told him to walk away and he was tripping over himself!"

"You saved my life, adventurer - it's not much, but I'm sure I could scrounge up a reward for you."

Theo blinked several times, mind still racing from the events that had only occurred nearly moments ago. He threatened a human being - well, a human shaped piece of code, but for all purposes... that was a person that he threatened. And he wasn't acting when he said that he would kill them... That's what scared Theo the most. Not letting the shock show on his face, Theo instead waved his hand dismissively.

"Please sir, you don't owe me anything! After all, it's a hero's ideal to protect people, with no intention of getting a reward!"

In reality, Theo would have greatly appreciated a few extra renn, considering his current financial situation, but Dirk would never charge people who were just about to be robbed. That would make him just as bad as the bandit.

Hans was no stranger to unruly customers, but that bandit was extremely close to killing him since the dagger was so close to his throat... Had Theo not been working at the inn, Hans wasn't sure if he would have kept the money he made that day. The fact that Theo was so intimidating was nearly as much of a surprise as to how he wanted no money in exchange for saving his life - most people had to offer decent chunks of Renn and make quests in order to get an adventurer to help them. Still, even if Theo didn't want any reward, he still worked the last 8 hours, so he deserved something.

"Still, you deserve something for your labor today. I'll go grab your wage - you can get changed back into your normal clothes, since you're off the clock."

Theo immediately made his way to the break room, before switching into his leather armor in the menu. The change only took a few seconds, but he felt more comfortable changing equipment in public, away from other people. Upon coming back and receiving his wage, Theo denied a free meal offered to him, instead paying for it with some of his recently gained Renn. Of course, it was the exact same meal he got every single time - The Shepard's pie. To be honest, he mostly bought it since he knew it was good - no point in risking to buy another meal if you're not sure if you'll like it.

Especially if you're saving up your cash and aren't willing to potentially waste it...

Theo made his way towards Alisea and Reylan, unaware of their conversation up to this point - instead, he simply sat down at a nearby table, waiting for his food to arrive - after eating, he planned on either talking, or immediately heading to sleep.

Polak thanked Paralyze for pulling a chair for him and sat down. Before he could say anything, the woman introduced herself as Alisea and hugged Reylan's arm quite affectionately. Although Reylan gave a shy response about it, Polak naturally thought they were in a relationship considering the scene. However, he quickly dismissed these assumptions; he had no business prying into their private lives and thought it was pointless to assume things. Just then, another woman approached the table, a companion to Reylan and Alisea.

Polak continued listening to the conversation when Reylan proudly revealed the name of the guild, Legion of the Wolf. He looked down and closed his eyes with his arms crossed, smiling at the name and thought it was fitting for the journeys ahead. Wolves symbolized courageousness and a great reward after a long and arduous siege, and after courageously persevering through Malgoth's kingdom, what better reward is there than freedom? Polak was deep in his thoughts until he was interrupted by a sudden pinging noise: a PM from Paralyze. He quickly signed the paper and opened his menu to read the PM.

"After this is done, I think we should go to their rooms and knock to see what happen. I have not seen both of them since yesterday. Maybe we should check them out to ensure everything is still good. And besides, Fortuna probably want to hear how to gain more Renn.”

Polak hadn't thought about visiting them, they could take care of themselves. Still, Polak was slightly worried; they haven't contacted him, and by the sound of it, they haven't contacted Paralyze either. Polak typed in a message and sent a reply to Paralyze.

"Sure. And you've got me a bit worried too, I haven't seen them and neither have sent me a message."

Aster. Paralyze. Polak. Alisea took up Reylan's pen and signed her own name to the document, bringing the count up to four. Only two more people needed to sign for it to be official--although, having everyone sign now would minimize the paperwork to be done later. "That makes four, but... Reylan, might you be forgetting something?" Alisea tapped the top of the page, just above Aster's signature. "You need to sign it, too," she answered for him, offering a smile and the return of his pen and form.

Her task completed, Alisea was ready to sleep. She slid her chair back and slowly stood. "Everyone should pass through here sometime tonight," she began, casting her eyes around the inn. She caught sight of Dirk easily, only a table away and happily feasting on his umpteenth Shepherd's Pie. A small glimpse of a large, furry back tucked into one of the booths gave the magess a start inwardly, but she kept her smile in place. "Everyone," she reemphasized, pointing Reylan's attention to the partial silhouette of Totoro. "And so I leave you to your first task as Guildmaster of the Legion of the Wolf: collect the members' signatures, and in the morning I will accompany you to submit the paperwork. Goodnight!"

Alisea waved a goodbye to those gathered at the table as she walked away. Passing Dirk's table, she offered him a wave and a quiet, "Goodnight, Dirk!" as well. Dubstepp's booth... was opposite her exit, so she wouldn't be able to pass by it. He likely wanted privacy, anyway--nothing he had done so far could be called 'social behavior.' The magess left the dining hall, climbed the stair, entered her room, closed the door quietly behind her, and collapsed into the bed.

Finally out of the public eye, Alisea groaned into the pillow. 'This is the sorest my arms have been since freshman season.' It would be a relief to go back to fighting monsters, the magess decided. Her mind repeated that ludicrous thought back to her. After a moment, Alisea broke into a fit of giggles.

Fighting to bring her mirth back under control, Alisea forced her arms to do just a little more. Opening her menu, she removed her armor and cloak, her sandals and her simple clothes. Clothes--she had forgotten to wait for Karma. Sliding under the covers, Alisea rolled onto her stomach and navigated to the friend menu. A short time later, she sent off her apology.

After a moment's contemplation, Alisea started working on another private message.

After some minutes, Alisea received an alert that she had a reply.

Alisea laughed quietly. She spent some time like that, trading messages back and forth. At the back of her mind, she wondered when Aster would come. Probably not soon; this was early for bed even by Alisea's standard. If she didn't come soon, though, Alisea wouldn't be able to ask about that picture Reylan made for her. She was curious: what would the archer have painted for the swordswoman? More importantly, why?

With those thoughts floating through her mind, Alisea slipped off into dreamland.

Reylan

Reylan smiled at her thanks "I just thought it was the least I could do." He modestly said as the others began to sign the treaty. The thumbs up from Paralyze went unnoticed underneath the table, but even if Reylan did spot it he would have not understood its meaning. He jumped a little when she summoned it out into the open for everyone to see. Aster's reaction came totally unexpected for him, did she really think it was that good? A certain lightness flowed through his body, if it made her that happy then he was proud it accomplished that even if he didn't think he deserved such praise "I'm honored you think so much of it. That just means those couple hours were worth it." His eyes watched as she signed the treaty, the signature was pretty he thought.

A small look of confusion dawned on his face, was he forgetting something? Alisea then made it clear what that was "Of course!" he nervously replied, after getting lost in his painting he forgotten to sign the document himself. His signature was nothing great, but it was there. His head turned as Alisea rose from her chair, his gaze shifting towards Dub's position and the large, white rabbit at he was made aware of his presence. "A-alright, I'll get them to sign it once I see them. See you tomorrow then!" He didn't think he could go against those kind of orders, not that he wanted to. After a few moments, she was gone and he was left with the task he'd been given.

He rose up out of his chair "I guess we're all done here if you want to go do whatever you want." Reylan casually stated, letting them move out if they decided to before heading over to Dirk with a smile and the treaty in hand "Hey Dirk, I got the treaty if you want to sign it!" He stood next to his table, laying the paper down and bringing the ink and quill over "The Legion of the Wolf couldn't go on without our trusty paladin." He lightheartedly spoke, though it was honest through and through. Everyone was needed, no one was expendable. He sincerely hoped Dub wouldn't walk away while he was doing this, otherwise he'd have to yell for him. A few people had yet to even show up.
