Finley Alestair

Location: Cafe

Finley was hit with the vision almost exactly when she grabbed the cookie. She saw Olivia as she appeared older in some circus tent. Before she knew it, she was transforming into a wolf and attacking and getting hurt back. She lurched back into reality. She stared at Olivia, uncertain as to what to do with the information. Did she tell her? Olivia appeared much older in that vision, it could be 5 years, could be 10. One thing she hated about her visions, you could never tell when.

She sat down and contemplated a bit before she realized she was being hugged. She recognized the strong arms around her and she felt her face get warm from enjoying it. She resorted back to righteous anger very quickly once he let go and gave his arm a good strong punch. "You're damn right you owe me an apology! And an explanation! I mean, what the hell Declan? I revealed my most personal secret after you told me yours and you just...leave? Not to mention I fought for you with Jenna. I'm still not talking to her over it either. What happened Dec?" Finley wanted to continue her rage, but she also desired answers. Plus, she couldn't stay mad at him for long. She never could.

Heather

Location: Home
Interacting with: N/A

Heather was drenched. The rain was soaking through her lightweight jacket, and she mentally kicked herself for not grabbing the raincoat. Not that she was out here though, she was too distracted to care that much about the rain. Her tea had probably been ruined, a song flashed through her head. She chuckled and was about to go inside when she noticed the jasmine bush by the door looked a little sad. Heather stared at it. Could she fix it too?

Heather glanced around. Making sure there weren't any neighbors looking her way. It seemed quiet, a part of her thought too quiet, but the rest of her reached out to the plant. Her hand brushed against the leaves of the plant. Following the branches, and finding more damaged parts. The plant healed, it's damaged leaves returned to their brilliant luster. Exhaustion washed over her. Heather stumbled slightly and went inside. She stood in the mudroom dripping; her tea left abandoned outside. Heather took off her wet clothes and threw them into the washing machine. In a haze, she went from there to her shower to clean up and then got dressed in dry clothes.

She needed to talk to someone. She picked up her phone and was halfway through dialing her mom's number when she remembered. Her heart twisted, and she set her phone down.

NOPE time to get out of the house right this instant. She grabbed her raincoat, phone, purse, and car keys. Locking the house behind her and hopping into her car. She started driving to the Cafe. It wouldn't take her long. But it was better than being at home alone.

Harry recognized the cook; he had seen her occasionally over the past week or so, but he was sure he had never gotten her name, nor had ever really been in any situation to interact with her directly. This mostly came down to a lack of need or desire to do so. It wasn't as if he had anything against the youngster; he was sure she was a fine person, but he had more important things to do. So he did as everyone did to the majority of things and people they found themselves around on a daily basis and filed her under "Irrelevant information" in the mental file cabinet.

But now he was forced into a situation where he had to do something. Honestly he was at a loss for anything to say. The well of suitable conversation topics had suddenly turned dry, and looking around at his belongings on the table didn't provide much help. Discuss the case with her? She probably didn't know anything. Riley's peers were too young for anyone college aged to have a very intimate knowledge of the subject. Were they? Even if she were, all the stuff related to Riley's disappearance and the murder of the mayor weren't likely to be of concern of hers beyond the shallow surface interest an event like a major crime in a small town elicited. Harry looked into his coffee much of help, but the dark abyss of the beverage offered no advice.

"I don't need a refill just yet, thank you," he finally replied. It was then that his eyes flicked over towards her hand and noticed it smeared in yellow that he quickly deduced as being mustard. "Ma'am, you might want to clean off your hand. You've gotten some mustard on it." She didn't seem to notice it, so the only polite thing to do was offer a bit of assistance he wouldn't need to go out of his way to perform. The PI helpfully offered Taylor a napkin for her self-inflicted mess.

Robin Marshall

Location: The Café
Interacting With: Miranda Burke, Olivia Johnson

Robin stirred his coffee again as he listened to Olivia and Miranda talk. A pang of guilt struck him for prying into their business now that the smiles had disappeared and the tense explanations came out. It was unkind of him to ask that. As an old 'friend' had one said, his nosiness would be the death of him some day. (Relatedly, she had also said that his nose was his worst characteristic. Maybe she just had a thing against noses.) For now, his penchant for gossip didn't seem to be screwing him over; it was content to simply make him feel bad, and that was something to rectify immediately.

"Sorry," he said hastily, with an imperceptible shake of his head. "I figured it must be hard for you. I don't know why I asked that––sorry."

Robin affixed a tentative smile on his face, about two steps away from reassuring but trying its best to be. "I think they'll find her though. Maybe not the cops or the feds, but, you know, everyone else looking into it. Through search parties or something like that." Robin's distrust of the legal system was well-known, but he didn't think it was unfounded. His fear over this being swept under the rug (as many crimes in the city were) had infiltrated all of his worries about Walker's disappearance and the Mayor's murder. It was one of the reasons why he returned to Red Lake this time: just in case an extra pair of hands were needed. Just in case there was any amateurs trying their hand at some real-life Scooby Doo mystery solving when the law fails. "I came back to try and help out, if I even can. Let me know if you need anything."

But then Olivia looked over at someone behind him who just entered the café––someone who Robin didn't know, whose name was presumably Declan––and he turned his attention to folding and unfolding the corner of a napkin, leg bouncing up and down from inactivity.

Kosara Koleva

Location: Abe's house

Kosara frowned when she didn't get a reply from Abe, but it was part of the course with hunters. There were often times when you were out of touch and then again he could be out to the silver mine again, inside the mine the cell coverage was really bad because of all the rocks and ore. Hell she sighed and quickly placed her phone on the nearby table, turning her attention back to the magical ingredients for the spell. At this very moment she was going to give in to her inner witch and do magic! She took of her jacket, tied her hair in a tail with a white ribbon and quickly got to work on setting the spell. With everything prepared it was all matter of mixing and activating it.

"It's been years since I last did this..." She smiled, recalling the memories and quickly got to placing the ingredients in the right order into the spell bowl and mixing them. She was for all intended purposes a witch right now with the exception she wasn't using demonic powers. Yeah pacts with demons were all a scam so no way in hell she does one.

"And this is the last one..." She mumbled, taking the last ingredient in the spell. Once she puts it in and set it on fire, the spell will take effect and the pendulum she was tying it to will show her the location on a map or even just by holding it it will react to the direction!" I really hope you're still human and alive, Riley." She added and placed the last ingredient, setting everything in the bowl in fire and holding hte pendulum over it, letting it be covered with the magical smoke.

Miranda Burke

Location: café Interacting with: Samantha wildes @infamous Auror, Robin Marshall@McHaggis,Olivia Johnson@Nallore:

Miranda remained silent after she said her piece, it was a downer for sure but it was not Robins fault, he was not to know how it was effecting people without asking, weather it was a good, bad or silly question, it was still the best way to gauge the feelings of people, better to ask than guess, sure enough her best girlie answered to, short truthful and hit the point across, it was clear in Miri’s mind that everyone was in one way or another and to be honest, despite the weather she was kind of itching to go look for her again just because of this conversation alone, she jumped a little when her phone went off in her pocket and quickly pulled it out to read it, It was from the new girl Samantha, to whom she rent the spare room to.

Hey Sam, looking at it I don’t think it will anytime soon, where you thinking of heading? – Miri.
To: Samantha Wilde.

Miranda soon placed her phone on the tablet instead of her pocket in case her phone went off again, her mind was certainly elsewhere thinking of anywhere they may have missed when looking for Riley, the raining was still drumming against the window when she heard the door opening, she didn’t think much of it until she heard Oli called out Declan’s name. Miri actually perked up at the sound of his name being called out and looked towards the door where she noticed him looking back at her. It was hard to tear her look away seeing him have a smile creeping onto his features, Miri blushed a little momentarily looking at the table before looking back at him with a smile, she did nothing more than that though considering he was hanging out with Finley.

Miri was snapped out of it and her attention brought back to the two at the table with her, thankfully she was not full blown staring at Declan, that would have been funny and probably awkward. She listened to Robin. “You don’t need to be sorry for anything Robin, you weren’t to know unless you asked... Besides stick around long enough and you’ll see how close this community is.” Miranda managed to keep her smile this time, and at least the blushing had stopped because she was thinking of Riley more than anyone else once again. Miri smiled at Oli. “Looks like we got an extra for the Scooby doo gang and honestly, I think just and extra pair of eyes and hands will help out a lot.” Miranda replied sounding a bit chirpier.

Lydia Weaver

Location: Her house
Interacting With: Robert and Jenna

"It'll be alright Robert, don't worry, I've got you," she said softly to the kitten, pulling him off her shoulder and holding him in her arms. She started petting him gently, trying to calm him down some, but with the dog around, it might not be the easiest thing to pull off. He looked terrified, and who could blame him, after all, he did just get chased around the house by a dog, and usually the two different animals don't get along very well.

Lydia turned to look at her cousin, "Mind pulling him back a little bit, he's scaring him," she said, nodding her head towards the dog. She just kept trying to comfort him as she continued to pet him. it made her wonder what would happen if Jenna found out that Robert wasn't exactly your typical little kitten, but it would be his choice to see if he wanted to let anyone else know, and she was going to keep his secret.

"Feel free to take your breakfast break hun, I'm fine for now though, thank you. I'll be right back."

And just like that, she was left alone with the man. Taylor wasn't much good with one-on-ones. Especially with men, no matter how nice they looked. A slight spike of anxiety sprang up in Taylor, but she'd play it as cool as possible. His response about not needing a top-off on his coffee left Taylor wondering what to do now. Taylor bit the inside of her lip and grabbed a rag from the sanitizer bucket underneath the counter to began wiping everything down.

It hadn't been much longer before she heard Mr. Kingsfield speak up from behind her again. The mustard stain on her hand was brought to her attention. She knew it was there, and she'd intended to leave a slight glob of it on there to sooth the burn sight. Must have been bugging the guy to see it. Maybe he thought it was unsanitary. She chuckled half-heartedly and took the napkin tenderly from the P.I. mumbling rather shyly, "Fun fact: Rubbing mustard to a burn area takes away the pain and reduces blisters and scarring." She gave him a nice smile for a few moments before it faded as she rubbed the mustard off her hand, her expression becoming more serious.

"I hadn't intentionally done so, but I kind of overheard you about Riley. I just wonder, do you think she's still out there? Is there a possibility she's not fallen victim to the killer who.... killed the Mayor? Didn't know Riley the best on a personal level, but having worked here for the last couple years, I saw a lot of her and got to know her and the family fairly well. I'd like to think of the Walkers as a sort of extended family of mine. You know? Just.." Taylor sighed softly. "Just really hope we can find her." It felt kind of lame to say, knowing the P.I. probably heard that all day long for the last week since he arrived here, but it was true for so many reasons.

Declan managed to hear Oli across the restaurant, turning to wave with a charming smile flashed her way. He'd have to hit Oli up later and see what their plans would be this coming moon, as it was closing in ever so quickly. Then his eyes caught Miranda's, and for a moment he was distracted. Enough so that he ran into a chair as he made his way to Finley. His face flashed beet red as he side stepped around the object and practically bounded over to Finn. Embracing her in his arms and spewing his sad excuse for an apology, instantly feeling a jab into his arm. He looked down at the punch point, then back up at Finn's face. He was trying to hold back a smile, but was having difficulty doing so.

"Was that supposed to hurt? Cause it didn't." He half-ass laughed until he realized her sincerely irritated expression. His smile quickly faded, his own expression becoming one of sorrow and solace. "I'm sorry, Finn. I just... Jenna really pushed me, and I couldn't stand to be around her at the time. It just really hurt to think..er, to know that that's how she feels about me. Regardless of what I am. I know she has her concerns, and that's fine. But to accuse me of potentially being the," Dec looked around quickly, a slight chill running down his spine as he whispered the word murderer, talking at a normal level again afterwards.

"I didn't mean to run out on you, and I sure as hell wasn't going radio silent on you specifically. I'd been over at Miranda's, and I got a call from..." Declan's chest clenched, causing him to pause a moment. Running a hand through his hair, he took a deep breath and tried again. "My cheating ass girlfriend, Jenna. Her.. whatever you wanna call him had her call me and tell me about her screwing around behind my back while she was there with him. It wasn't her at first on the phone. He had the nerve to tell me it all, and she told me not to contact her anymore and hung up on me." Declan's fist tightened into a firm ball, his knuckles cracking under the extreme amount of pressure put on them.

He forced himself to sit down in the chair beside Finley, placing his arms crossed on the counter in front of him and his head turned away from his friend. Tears threatened to spill over his eyelids, but he wouldn't let them. Not here. Not in a public place. Declan talked lower, sounding almost defeated. "Please don't hold this over me, Finn. I just really needed a break from it all after What happened with...the Jennas'. Was just too much for me, and I didn't want to blow up at anyone cause I wasn't right in the head." He rubbed his eyes with a knuckle, destroying any evidence he may start crying at any moment. Though he hated it, Declan tended to be quite the crybaby. Just in the comfort of his own home. He always went by the saying his dad told him through his childhood, "Never let them see you cry." And he never did.

@BlueSky44 @Morose Robert seemed to calm down in Lydia's arms, but still his eyes remained focused on Tony, eventually Tony would back down on his own. The kitten went back to purring slightly in Lydia's arms and looked over towards Jenna across the room, very intently and just stared at her, as he thought about changing in front of her now, he did come to the house for a reason after all.

@Dragoknighte @Infamous Auror Mrs. Walker came back into the kitchen carrying some paper work that she needed to some filing and putting in some food orders for the next couple of days. She'd look over her shoulder towards Taylor and Harry as the two started to talk, she gave a slight smile when he mentioned the mustard on her hand. She hadn't done the trick herself, usually just doing it the old fashioned way and put ice and water on it until it went down.

@rivaan As Kosara was getting the spell ready she'd hear her phone going off and it was from Abe finally, while working on the tracking spell with the map of the area was there. It suddenly caught on fire, and just as that happened there was a smell of sulfur in the room when Kosara looked back the map was completely on fire now. And then nothing was left just a bunch of ash left on the table, and the sulfur smell was gone. She could feel a presence there but it was quickly gone just as it was there, looked like the demon didn't want the spell to work.

@Kirah The drive towards the café was uneventful but the rain was still pretty constant throughout the entire drive from Heather's house to the café. Once she was there at the café she'd be able to see that there were quiet a number of people in the café already, Heather's coworkers Miranda, Olivia and Finley were all there. Luckily she wasn't scheduled for work today either, as things were pretty quiet she'd pick up some of the conversation of Olivia's group going towards the old house to look for clues there as well.

Olivia looked over towards Robin and shook her head and gave him a slight smile. "It's alright, was hoping we could go and search for her again, maybe even head to that creepy old house where the other killing happened." Olivia said softly, she looked over her shoulder towards Declan and Finley seeing Finley stumbling slightly in some kind of daze shortly after that they went to sit down at a table that was across from them. Olivia tuned in somewhat on their conversation, she knew of the fight between him and Jenna. And she was curious what made Jenna want to start questioning that Declan was the killer, she shrugged slightly to herself and turned her attention back towards Miranda and Robin.

Olivia decided to just change the subject to the whole murders and kidnapping in town to something else. "So got any cool or interesting travel stories Robin?" Olivia asked looking over towards her friend, as Olivia started to take a drink from her coffee, feeling her stomach growling slightly. "I'd just like a grilled cheese if that's okay?" Olivia asked, the waitress nodded and walked off to go and grab her sandwich. "Sooo you guys in on looking at the old creepy house?"

On my way back home now."

Abe sent his text towards his niece, the lake was a dead-end now due to the rain and everything was now washed away due to the rain and mud forming on the ground. He figured that he just head back home now as Abe drove his car towards his house the drive wasn't that long when Abe came back into the house, he instantly picked up the foul scent of sulfur.

"What happened here?" Abe asked as he picked up the scent of burnt paper as well, looking over at the bowl and the ashes, letting out a slight sigh knowing that the spell was unsuccessful by the looks of it. "Got enough to make another one of them fancy spells?" Abe finally asked looking over at his niece.

Heather

Location: Cafe
Interacting with: @Nallore Olivia, @FantasyChic Finley Alestair, @McHaggis Robin Marshal, @Infamous Auror Declan O'Connor, & @Damo021 Miranda Burke

Heather was certain she looked ridiculous. She was soaking wet, but everyone was here. It felt like it had been ages since she had seen any of them. She knew her co-workers would know why she had disappeared at least. The others... well her heart tightened hoping they wouldn't ask, maybe she had been back in town long enough that a rumor about why she had been gone would have made it through town. She needed people right now though.

"Robin! You're in town. I'd hug you, but it looks like I went swimming in my clothes. For some reason, I thought it would be a good idea to water my plants in the rain." She gave a wide smile and glanced at the others gathered. "Sorry if I interrupted, don't let me stop your conversation." She paused, catching herself from saying that she just needed people right now. Today was off to a weird start.

When the waitress came by, she ordered a salad and a tea.

Could she talk to any of them about what happened this morning? She wanted to. Olivia would be the most likely one. Heather felt like she knew her best. For now Heather held her tongue. There was an odd atmosphere to the group. One she couldn't quite put her finger on, everyone seemed sad and uncomfortable. She hoped they weren't uncomfortable because of her.

Robin Marshall

"I'm not much of a 'Fred', but I do have a Mystery Machine and a lot of spare time on my hands," Robin said with a toothy grin at the very idea of a Scooby Doo gang of Red Lake natives. Never too old to be a meddling kid, apparently. Granted, the subject material was a little more somber than any cartoon mystery story. "I'm in to help search, for sure. Whatever it takes." It was very easy to promise that, he knew, and then take off as he usually did; however, this time he didn't feel the all-encompassing need to escape Red Lake the moment he set foot in it.

Maybe he was ready to settle.

...

Nah. It was just the change of pace talking, the murders bringing life to a town that used to drain it out of him. Once all was calm again, he could drive out to Philadelphia, try and set up roots again, even though the risk of falling into old crowds and old ways and old beds was a real downer. To the west, instead. Either way, this wouldn't be a permanent thing.

Olivia's question of whether or not he had any stories to tell shook him out of that daze of plans for the future. "Well, it was just more of the same, really. The city got a bit boring. I did make a shit-ton of money as the fill-in for a guitarist in a band." Well, it was an exagerration: he wasn't any richer. Half of the earnings were for repairs to the Dancing Queen, and the other half went into purchasing that doomed ring. But he didn't really want to talk about engagements and disengagements to a town of gossips, an over-sharer though he may be at times. "Nothing much this time around, compared to what's going on here."

The arrival of Heather was a welcome distraction; a better segue than anything he could come up with away from the uncomfortable topics. "Heather Ali––a sight for sore eyes." The woman was soaked from head to toe, and given her excuse, Robin couldn't help but laugh, even though there was the inkling of worry in the back of his mind that he hadn't heard from Heather in a while. Last he was in town, she wasn't around. "'Drowned' is a good look. And you weren't interrupting. Olivia was just suggesting checking out a creepy old house to help out the case and, I gotta say, my interest levels has gone off the charts from that description alone."

Hell, if this whole gumshoe thing panned out, and they found Riley Walker and caught the murderer, maybe he could go all Murder She Wrote, travelling the US and solving a different small-town homicide every week. Wouldn't that be the life.

Kosara Koleva

Location: Abe's house

When Abe arrived, Kosara was sitting in a chair, her face displaying a really displeased expression. She looked at the old man and frowned.” Demons...” She hissed in really annoyed manner. Of all things to be involved it had to be demons, those near impossible to deal with douchebags.” This got a whole of a lot harder to deal with. Abe salt all the entrances into the house... I will give you the design for a devil's trap to put underneath every rug in the house too.” She added, pulling a sheet of paper and quickly drawing it on it.

“We have one problem on top of another. Remember the mayor's death? Well I know something that kills in such a fashion... the hounds of hell.” She said with grim face.” The hounds we do not have anything to deal with them... Anti demon tools are hard to find at the best of times and the bastards are invisible... it might take a while, but we should make some calls and see if someone can lend us one given the situation. I'm sensing something bigger here... hounds mean deals... and those can be just the prologue to far worse things...” Kosara added and quickly scribbled another paper with a list of ingredients.” Get these fast... and place them on the table.” She added before grabbing a bag of salt from the kitchen and quickly making a circle around the table and then all the doorways.

Jokes aside, Finley listened as Declan talked. Really, she couldn't blame him. Having all of that pile on a person would be too much. Having just heard for the first time about his girlfriend cheating on him, that put things into further perspective. Knowing her own feelings for the boy also, it was probably for the best he went radio silent on her.

Still, she was mad. She couldn't help herself. Out of everyone Declan knew apart from Taylor, she hoped he knew that she was someone he could confide in. Get angry at. Cry on her shoulder. All of that bull that friends did with each other. "I get it Dec, I really do. And I'm sorry to hear that. But you still should have called me. Or texted. Or something! Do you know how worried sick I was? I wouldn't have cared. You should know me by now."

Finley took a beat and let the silence hang. Well..."silence" as others were still talking. Finally, she continued. "Forget about Jenna and...Jenna and Fuck Face she cheated on you with. I am here and I am here to help. I had a vision while you were quiet. Riley is alive." She dropped that last bit in a whisper. "I don't know where she is, but she is alive. I want to go find her and the best lead I have so far is the abandoned building that they found some guy in." Hopefully Declan heard about that.

"Good to know, I'll try to keep it in mind the next time I get burned." Harry didn't get burned very often, like most people who didn't work around hot materials on a regular basis. So he was almost certain he wouldn't remember, or even if he did, he probably wouldn't be in the context where mustard would be in close reach. Maybe when he got home and he burned himself while ironing or something. Anywhere else, it probably wouldn't help. But maybe it would.

Then came the hard questions. Not hard in that they gave him any difficulty in answering, but they were troublesome question in whether or not he wanted to actually answer them in the first place. Harry thrummed his fingers against the tabletop as he tried to figure out how to reply to the young cook. They weren't exactly direct questions about the case, that he'd already stated that he would refuse to answer, but they were close. And not to mention if he did answer her, it wouldn't be hard for her to start probing into his reasoning for his statements.

All the same, he didn't want to just completely shut everyone off who might want to discuss anything even tangentially possibly related to Riley, especially when they could be an important key to. Too make matters worse, Mrs. Walker strolled back in at that time as well, so he couldn't just potentially keep this between the two of them.

"I have full confidence that Riley is still alive and out there. While I wouldn't be surprised if the two cases are related, I can't assume they're interconnected and neither should you." Harry took a sip of coffee. "For the meantime, try to keep your chin up. I'm sure Riley wouldn't want to worrying yourself sick." Of course, Harry had never met the girl, but from what he could gather of her character, she definitely seemed like the type that would prefer to keep everyone happy. And it didn't really seem like his place to try cheering her up, but he couldn't stop himself. All he could hope is that it would help out.

Jenna Westbrook

Location: 052 Forrester Drive

Jenna had followed her cousin into the kitchen, rolling her eyes a bit at the glass shards and the mess Lydia's new cat had made. It was just typical of cats to knock everything they could find off of the counter. And she knew that her mom - no, that Mrs. Westbrook loved that jar. But Jenna decided that the school administrator could just deal with it. There was no use crying over a smashed cookie jar. She half expected to see the cat knock over a glass of milk as well, that way milk and cookies would be on the floor.

"You found him, boy?" Jenna asked her dog, as Tony bolted off into the living room. She went in there with Lydia, giving Tony a few pets on his head as a reward for a job well done. Jenna then raised an eyebrow again at the name Robert - she supposed she was one to talk, given her dog was named Tony, but she had named him after a Marvel character. She couldn't think of anyone named Robert worth naming a cat after. She pulled out her phone and noticed the message from Abe, sending him back a curt reply.

To Abe:
I'm fine -J.

She glanced up from her phone just in time to see Tony try to go after the damn cat again. Jenna was about to call off Tony when her dog backed away slightly on her own. She raised an eyebrow as the cat seemed to be staring at her, kneeling down and petting her dog. She was going to bring Tony with her when she finally ran away, she decided. He was the only person in this town worth caring about and he wasn't even human.

"So, Robert...That's a fun name for a cat."

Interacting With: Robert and Jenna

Lydia just kept petting Robert. She was curious as to why he had come, but now still wasn't exactly the time to talk about it, since Robert didn't seem comfortable with letting Jenna know that he wasn't your typical cat. She was quiet as she noticed that Robert was staring at her cousin, but he wasn't trying to get out of her arms at the moment. The dog was another story, and she hoped that Jenna would keep the dog away from Robert still. It would be really helpful.

"Well Jenna, you called your dog Tony, so who are you to judge what the cat's name is?" Lydia asked her with a smile. Lydia brought Robert closer so she could just whisper to him without Jenna hearing, "You can shift for her if you want to Robert, I think you can trust her. That's my cousin Jenna, she's generally a decent person to be around, don't worry," she said softly into his ear, before going back to petting him gently.

Interactions: Mrs. Walker { @Nallore } ; Harry Kingsfield { @Dragoknighte }

Taylor nodded simply to what Harry had to say about Riley. Seemed like a pretty vague response, but he seemed to be absolute in the answer, as well as sincere. Taylor already knew the facts. Her best friend having foreseen the girl alive and well, she didn't exactly need the reassurance of Mr. Kingsfield, but it was good to know he had positive thoughts on the case and the likelihood of finding her. Taylor could hear Mrs. Walker coming up from behind her, turning slightly to acknowledge her presence before turning back to Harry.

"I'll try to keep a level head about the whole thing. Thank you, sir. If I don't see you again, have a good rest of your day." She gave the detective a friendly smile before walking into the back to go take her break, giving Mrs. Walker an appreciative head nod before grabbing a cup of coffee and heading out the back door to sit outside to listen to the rain while she enjoyed her drink.

Location: The Cafe
Interactions: Finley Alestair { @FantasyChic }

Declan sighed heavily as his face drooped, looking up at Finley through his eyebrows. It wasn't intentional, but he probably looked like a sad puppy who'd just been whipped for chewing up its owner's favorite pair of shoes. He listened to Finley fire back at him, and it made him feel all the more worse about it all. Yes, he should have known better. He should have known Finley, better. He rubbed the back of his neck firmly and half-heartedly smiled at Finn.

"I hope you know that I trust you wholeheartedly. I'm practically the Sawyer to your Finn, right? I was just caught up in the bullshit, and I felt it would be safer for everyone if I was alone, ya know? Taylor actually went and got me a new phone after I smashed my other one. She told me she knew you'd be pissed off the worst out of everyone if I went MIA." He thought about adding in a joke somewhere about how he should have sent a post by owl, but he figured there was a time and place for Hogwarts jokes, and this wasn't one of them.

He looked over at their group of friends, then back at her as she explained her vision, and where she wanted to go. He simply replied with a slight tease to his tone, "You want to head out now, in the rain?" Part of him felt she wouldn't care if it was raining or snowing or whatever. This was their friend they were talking about finding.. alive. It didn't matter what the circumstances were, chances were, they were gonna head out right then and there. Declan wouldn't mind either way.

@BlueSky44 @Morose Robert stared at Jenna for the longest time as he seemed to calm down now, looking over at Lydia when she whispered into his ear, and thought about it for a few moments before nodding slightly. He quickly jumped out of Lydia's arms, landing gracefully onto the floor. A couple of seconds later the cat transformed back into his human form, standing up and looking directly over at Jenna. "It's nice to meet you." He finally said while looking directly at Tony once more.

@Dragoknighte @Infamous Auror Mrs. Walker gave Taylor a friendly smile and nod as she went over towards a nearby cupboard and pulled out a laptop, she had some paperwork to do. Mainly bills and inventory stuff that she needed to do, while typing away and answering a few emails she watched Taylor heading out the back door. She looked back at Harry and gave him a slight nod, she was now focused right now working on business something to keep her mind off of things. Taylor while outside she'd see a black wisp of smoke flying through the treeline and the slight smell of sulfur again, which looked like it had just come from Abe's house which was the next house over.

Olivia looked over towards Heather and smiled happily at her and motioned for her to take a seat at their table as well, the more the merrier. "Your more than welcome to join us." Olivia said giving her friend and coworker a friendly smile, as she listened to Robin as he explained what he had been doing lately. "You really should make your own band or something that always be cool. I'd totally go and visit every show." Olivia said, as the waitress came over and handed over Heather's salad and tea as well, Olivia couldn't help but giggle slightly seeing Heather completely wet.

She didn't know why her friend was soaking wet completely she didn't know why Heather decided to water plants while in the rain, but decided to not say anything about it. "Your more than welcome to join the search as well, if you want we can wait and finish your food first." Olivia couldn't help but also overhear Finley and Declan's conversation biting her lower lip for a moment. "We are about to head there as well if you guys want to come as well, more eyes the better and the safer things could be?" Olivia suggested.

Abraham Serafin

Location: Café
Interacting With: @rivaan Kosara Koleva

Abraham leaned against the table where Kosara was going to do her tracking spell seeing the remnants of it all, letting out a slight sigh he was really hoping that the spell would actually work. But didn't as the demon seemed to interfere with the thing, sighing slightly as he looked towards his niece as he listened to her, raising an eyebrow when she told him that it wasn't a werewolf that killed the mayor, instead it was a hellhound. "Those things are nasty.." Abe said quietly eyeing his cane for a moment and shook his head, wishing that it was a demon killing weapon. But he knew that they were hard to come by, he had only seen a small few of them in his lifetime which was how rare they were.

"Will do." Abe said as he headed off towards the kitchen and headed over towards his cabinet where he had kept all of Kosara's spell stuff, and started to grab everything that she asked him to grab. Abe then started to look over the devil trap design that Kosara had and made his way towards the entrance and started to draw down on it and then hid it under the rug, when he heard a text from Jenna seeing that she was alright. "So what next?" Abe asked looking over at his niece.

Miranda Burke

Location: café Interacting with: Heather Ali @Kirah, Robin Marshall@McHaggis,Olivia Johnson@Nallore:

Miranda went quiet for a moment while Olivia responded to Robin, if anything she was in her own little world for a moment before her bestie had started asking questions to Robin, the one that caught her attention the most however was ‘going to the creepy old house’, by now unless living under the world biggest rock, there was another murder that happened there and with her interest into the supernatural, it would not Surprise Miri with what’s come to light over the last five days if something like that was responsible, but what?

It was at that moment when Miri saw and watch a rather drowned Heather come into the café, seemed it was her day of two, it was quite cool when more than one of them were off, it was nice to hang out without having the added work load, plus Miri got on really well with the young woman, especially when she since confided and put her trust in Miri she came back to Red Lake, her smile to see her though did soon turn to a little bit of worry, Heather had not even dressed for the weather! For a moment Miri stood up and took her own jacket of and offered it to Heather. “Jesus Heather, put this on please, you’ll catch a cold or something.”

And then the creepy house was mentioned again, Miranda was feeling a bit apprehensive about the idea, but it sounded like the rest were set on going, plus if it helped in anyway in finding Riley, then she would do it, even if her gut was saying otherwise not to. At least Robin felt super happy about the idea. “Could never keep you away from a mystery.” She replied looking at him for a moment. At this point Miranda quickly ordered an Orange juice, always got to have you’re one a day before investigating creepy ass houses she guessed, plus it seemed Oli invited Dec and Finley, well this just got interesting but Oli had a point. “I have a bad feeling about it, But I’ll go for Riley… Plus it be safer if we go in numbers and stay close together.”

Kosara Koleva

Location: Abe's house

"Yeah... I know, believe me I know." Kosara replied grimly, remembering all the problems a hellhound can cause them. Heck a single hellhound could probably kill both of them if they were caught unaware and even if they were aware of it chances were good they cannot stop it. Luckily those things usually wouldn't attack them just like that, but depending on the situation it wasn't impossible to happen." We might have a little bit of leeway since they are usually only put on the trail of those who's deals are over and it's time to collect, but better not rest on that. Heard of and seen hunters who were done in by those supposedly." Kosara stated, pulling a notebook with numbers, it was time to start the hunting for hunters to help them.

"Now, I will first whip us some hex bags to hide us from the demons' supernatural ability to detect us... Should allow us at least some advantage in this situation. We can try to trap the demon eventually." Kosara said and put the notebook to the side, walking over the table to start mixing those up." In the meantime you better start placing salt across every window and doorway. Also might be a good idea to place some protective circles around our beds just in case." She added with a frown, already mixing the ingredients for the hexes." Now be a good grandfather and leave a your grandchild to her witchery." She smiled.
