Yu Yu Hakusho, YOU CAN SMILE!


Anyway, I'm looking for people to help me flesh out a Yu Yu Hakusho Rp. One that I'm certain I'm going to create with just a little help and contribution from its players. I'm going to be frank, I don't want to be the God of this world. I would love for it to be a collaboration. I want to hear feedback and see ideas tossed around, some brainstorming on arcs or big baddies.

... It'll take a lot off my shoulders

Plot Details |
  • 30 years after the end of the anime.
  • There will be 5 separate spots for characters (not including my own.)
  • An older Yusuke Urameshi has developed an agency of apprentice Spirit Detectives under his tutelage.
  • The Demon World is under the fledgling rule of Shura (Yomi's son).
  • Under his rule a spike in demon activity in the human world has begun to appear
  • Ultimately its up to us to discover and put a stop to these demonic interlopers.


OOC Details |
  • You may play as a Human, Demon, or Spirit (long as your character could benefit from the team dynamic)
  • Eventually we will be operating in the Demon World and making visits to Koenma in Spirit World. (Ahh, diversity.)
  • Your character can be awesome but allow room for a lot of growth. (C Class max.)


Once I see some interest and guaranteed help, I'll get an OOC started.

@Duthguy As long as you can spawn some NPCs and help produce some growth during Arcs we're good. I'm not looking for GMs, more of a interactive community. Players that can bounce ideas off one another and me too.

Aww man. Looks like it's full. If any spots open up please let me know. I'd also be happy playing a "side" character rather than a main spirit detective. Someone not too strong, but there for support.

@Raging Fenrir I haven't decided who the spirit detectives will be yet. It would be unfair to do first come, first serve in this situation. I would still fill out a CS and drop it in the OOC for consideration when its made.

I'm thinking of make an exception for one or two side characters - might be fun to expand the cast a bit.

EDIT: I've added an area to the CS for Weapons.

So, is it encouraged to use the "Spirit xx" name for our abilities (if we're humans that is)?
