Lydia Weaver

Location: Silver Mine

Heather's suggestion to have someone outside waiting for Robert wasn't that bad of an idea. It did make sense, especially if by chance they did actually need his father's necklace for something. Though she knew that there was no stopping Jenna, not when she was determined to do something, and so she just generally did the best that she could. Going along with things and keeping up the best that she can. It didn't matter what she really thought, she was determined to stick with Jenna through this entire thing now.

The symbols instantly drew her attention, the ones on the walls. Lydia knew absolutely nothing really when it came to the mine, she wasn't from Red Lake, so she hadn't really planned on learning anything about it's history. When they came to the fork in the pathway, she glanced over at Jenna. "So... Any ideas which way we should go?" she asked, figuring she likely would have the answer to that question, or at least would pick a direction.

Jenna Westbrook

Location: the Silver Mine

Jenna deliberated for a moment, looking at her cousin."...I've never been straight before, no reason to start now," she said, before she took the diverging path. She used her phone as a flashlight in order to see in the darkness of the cave, not afraid of her surroundings. Her thoughts went to Declan and Finley for a moment. She doubted either of them would miss her when she left Red Lake. No forwarding address - she'd just be out of their lives.

And maybe, Finley would finally hook up with Declan and do them all a favor. "And if someone wants to wait for Robert, go ahead," Jenna said, not patient enough to go and hang back herself. She was certain Riley was in this mine and she didn't want to wait another minute.

@Dragoknighte As Harry looked around there were various cardboard boxes, some of them labeled as holiday decorations, some of them had years labeled onto them. The further he would look into the attic the older the stuff started to look, the Walkers ended up usually keeping everything they could family wise. There were a few things of furniture, and then there was a large wooden box at the far end of the room. The wooden box appeared to be really old and dusty as well, and it was nailed shut, on it was etched into the top of the wooden box a date October 25th, 1778 the box itself looked like it was pretty big as well.

@FantasyChic Both of Finley's grandparents looked at each other for a moment when she said that the two of them were going out to the lake later tonight. "You know the lake isn't really safe right now right?" Her grandfather said, now making things a little more serious. "With the two murders and then the Walker kid going missing up there as well." He said, while her grandmother did look a little bit concerned as well. "Just take something to protect yourself while you are out there at least." She said, while Declan shifted slightly still feeling a bit awkward from Finley's grandfather's comment. "Don't worry i'll make sure everyone is safe." Declan said as he finished up the rest of the dinner and looked over at Finley. "Shall we get ready and go now?" Declan asked, he was pretty much eager to get out now at this point.

@Kirah@McHaggis&@Morose@BlueSky44 Whether or not anyone else would wait for Robert it was up to them as well, as Jenna headed down the other path, the flooring started to look a lot more treacherous if she wasn't careful. There were a few small holes in the floor, due to age, it could lead to a sprained or broken ankle if you didn't watch where you were going. Then Jenna would also be bombarded with dozens of spirits, going on about their business in the mine like they were simply working still. The symbols on the walls all suddenly stopped as well, some areas appeared that was where the cave in had happened, then everyone started to hear a creepy voice singing, the voice itself sounded like it was coming from a child.

Olivia smiled towards Miranda as they walked into her house, and closed the door shortly behind her and thought for a moment towards her friend's question and gave a slight shrug. "I'd probably go to college, and go to medical skill so I can work as a medical examiner." Olivia answered simply, she wanted to do that always wanting to help someone or a family get closure if they lost a loved one and find out the cause of someone's death.

Olivia then headed over towards her kitchen and looked towards the clock, they would have to meet Finley and Declan in a few minutes as well, looking over towards her friend and gave her a soft smile. "Going to make a quick dinner, sandwiches okay? Then we can go out to meet Finley and Declan and then head to the lake together." Olivia offered as she went and started to get some meat and cheese as well as some bread to. "Anything you'd like to have?" Olivia asked Miranda.

"Doesn't really matter, we have a big one here somewhere in town whether history books said its buried somewhere or unearthed thousands of years ago." Abe said giving a slight shrug as he looked around, before spotting a nearby rug that was on the floor as Kosara brought up Siegfried's body up. He motioned for her to help him as he went to one end and started to roll up Siegfried's body up in the rug, breathing heavily as he did so. It was certainly very heavy Once it was rolled up Abe went towards the door and opened it for his niece.

Abraham made his way towards his car, there wasn't anyone else in front of the house so it was safe now and then went to help Kosara with the body and dragged it over towards the trunk of his car and proceeded to dump the body in there. Tossing the keys to Kosara, it looked like he was pretty tired right now. "You can drive." He said towards her.

"Thankies." She said to Abe when he helped her with the body. Cleaning up bodies wasn't really the highlight of the profession, but sadly it happened more often that any hunter would like. Humans were always caught between monsters and hunters. THat or they were simply prey that hunters weren't able to save. Then there was the fact hunters also had to often clean up monster bodies, since monsters often had human bodies seemingly.

Once outside, she was indeed glad there was no one out there cause seeing a rolled up body was not something easy to explain. As was the fact why would they be carrying it to a car trunk. She didn't want to go to jail quite yet. Once the body was in the trunk and she slammed it shut, she stretched her arms. Carrying a dead body was a hard task since it was quite heavy. She looked at Abe who seemed tired." Fine, I will drive this time." She smiled and quickly walked to hte driver seat and took it. With a smile she turned on the engine and waited for her grandfather to join her.

"Well where should we go bury him? By the lake wouldn't be really good place I think. Lot's of people are wandering about there right now." She made a note, since indeed they had found a bunch of Riley's friends snooping around there. Then there was that PI too.

"Think we should wait for the kid to come back? We could go back to the mine entrance? We know which way Jenna and Lydia are going. And we should stay in pairs at least." Heather asked Robin. "Or we could go down the opposite path? If we split up we will cover more ground." Horror movies played through her head and she heard a dozen different dumb groups splitting up and everyone ending up dead.

Heather shined her light down the unchosen straight path. Curious what was that direction. She waited for Robin to give his input though. She took a step closer to him and was thankful for his presence. She was certain she wouldn't have made it this far into today's adventure without him.

Harry Kingsfield

Location:
Red Lake B&B Attic

The attic was about what he was expecting. It smelled old and musty, and even with the weather outside, it was uncomfortably hot and stuffy. As he made his way through the attic, he made note of all the different packages and belongings that were left up here, abandoned really. Given the thought that they would one day be pulled out and used, but then left to sit out of recollection forever afterwards. The fact that he was up here in the first place was probably more human exposure some of these items had than they'd received in years.

As poetic as pondering the existence of the majority of the denizens of the attic were, they weren't what he was here for. That box. That was probably it. First he dusted it off and tried to get a better look at it. His first instinct was to open it up, but he both lacked the means to do so (it was nailed shut and he lacked the tools on hand to undo them), and he had the very strong feeling not to open it up at the same time (supernatural phenomena appeared to have been ingrained in the town and this family from the very beginning, and the fact that there was a very old box nailed shut and still intact meant there was probably something very nasty sealed inside). Before he could open it up, he needed some verification for what could actually be inside it.

He needed more information. Perhaps he had visited that reservation too soon. Maybe the chief knew more about what was going on here than Harry had initially gathered. But first the box. The PI gave the box and good pull. He wanted to see if he could carry this thing out of here. He didn't like being up here, and if he could keep it stashed away in his room, it would be more easily available, and if it just happened to have mundane, but useful pieces of the puzzle inside, he wouldn't have to make multiple trips in and out to move them someplace secure. But it was pretty big box.

Miranda smiled at her friend when she answered her return question, she remembered it was something her wolfie friend has always wanted to do, Miri knew it would do the blonde a lot of good learning such skills considering how much crap is going on right now in Red Lake… So much for being a quiet little town.

Miranda leaned against the side in the kitchen as she too notices the time, they were on a time limit to meet Finley and Declan. She pondered her question of what sandwich she would like to eat. “Sandwiches will be fine honey, Turkey and cheese if you got it?” Miri replied crossing her arms across her chest as she relaxed.

Jenna Westbrook

Location: the Silver Mine

Jenna continued to walk into the mine, a bit surprised at first by the high density of spirits. Yet, when she thought about it for a moment, it really was to be expected. Mines were dangerous places - even now, she had to be careful to watch her step or she'd end up actually spraining her ankle for real this time. Was it really that out of the question for loads of people to die here and remain behind to haunt the grounds? The symbols stopping and the voice singing sent a shiver down her spine, but she wasn't about to stop.

"Who's there?" Jenna called out, walking in the direction of the voice. She assumed that Lydia would be right behind her, but she wouldn't blame her cousin if she left. She hadn't known Riley, so she had no reason to be in the mine at the moment. Jenna did - this was her first case in her mind and Riley made it personal. "What can you tell me about Asmodeus or Sigfried?" she asked, reciting the names of the two demons. "My name is Jenna....Jenna Rydzynski, I won't hurt you."

Lydia Weaver

Location: Silver Mine

Lydia stuck with her cousin, only hesitating for a brief moment when it came to it. At least Jenna seemed to know what she was doing, unlike the rest of them. She also knew that Robert wouldn't really want to come to the mine, since he was a shifter of sorts and couldn't deal with silver and all of that fun stuff. The mine likely wasn't the safest place to be, and she didn't really care much what the other two did, she just wasn't going to let Jenna go walking in alone.

She made her way after Jenna very carefully as the ground started looking a bit more uneven and could likely hurt them if they weren't careful about it. Looking at the walls, she noticed when the symbols seemed to stop abruptly, and she glanced over at the apparent cave in. Lydia was about to ask what was the plan or something when she heard the voice, and it creeped her out slightly, and she glanced over. "Uh... What is that... And where is it coming from?" she muttered.

Finley didn't want her grandparents to worry. She knew it was dangerous, but they shouldn't have to sit here and wonder what she was doing and if she was safe. "It's a simple get together. Tons of people will be there. And I'll have Declan to protect me. It will only be for an hour or so and then I'll be right back." She wasn't lying, technically. Declan would be there and, for all she knew, it would last an hour.

With that, she kissed her grandparents on the cheek and walked out with her keys. "Don't know about you, but I don't want to ride a bicycle to the lake. Mind riding on the back?" She asked, referencing her motorcycle. It would get them to the lake in a breeze and she was desperate to get going.

@Dragoknighte When Harry tried to move the box it was very heavy to move, as some dust blew away it would take at least two people to carry it maybe a little bit more. On the far end of the room there was blue basket that contained some tools that could be used to open up the box. They looked a little bit old, but they would be able to do the job there was also a crowbar that he could also try using that was in the crate as well. Then there was a knock on the door and it was Mrs. Walker again as she opened the door a little bit looking over at him. "Did you find anything?" She asked.

@FantasyChic "Alright, and just make sure that you keep your phone on just in case as well." Finley's grandmother said as they both hugged her, as Declan made his way over towards the front door leaning up against it once Finley had finally said her goodbyes to them and opened the door. "I've never ridden a motorcycle before, but I don't mind riding in the back." Declan said giving Finley a sheepish smile as he made his way over towards the bike, it wouldn't take that long to get to the lake again really either.

@Kirah@McHaggis&@Morose@BlueSky44 The walk back to the outside of the cave wasn't that far for Heather and Robin really, they could easily get back, but when they did get back out Robert still wasn't there yet, it would take awhile for him to come back to the silvermine since the reservation was on the other side of town. For Lydia and Jenna however the creepy singing started to become much louder now until they would get a glimpse of a kid. The kid's eyes flashed black and gave the two of them a very creepy smile as the singing stopped and quickly crawled under a very small crevice that only one person at a time could go.

"Sure thing." Olivia smiled blushing a bit when she said honey as she went into the fridge and grabbed herself a small package of thinly cut turkey along with some ham and cheese as well. Olivia then started to grab two paper plates from a nearby cabinet pulling out a loaf of bread as well, and grabbed four slices of each. Olivia then started to make Miranda's first and then handed over to her friend, and then Olivia started to grab her own as well putting both turkey and ham on hers.

Olivia smiled as she finished making her sandwich them turned to her and started to quickly eat it, while looking up at the clock once more. "We should get going now." Olivia said as she set the plate in the trash while eating the rest of her sandwich rather quickly and then made her way towards the front door of her house, while looking over at Miranda and gave her another little look over and gave her a little wink. "Taking your car again?" Olivia asked.

Abe smiled at his niece as he went over and pulled up a seat in the front and sat down, and leaned back a bit it was good to not be driving this time. He was getting really tired and sore after having to deal with the body and then he looked over at Kosara for a moment when she asked him where they should take the body and thought for a moment. The lake was a bit of a popular place in town and it was often used as well. As he thought about the other locations around town, he didn't want to go out to far from town either, as he looked at the trunk.

"The silver mine maybe would be a good place." Abraham suggested since it was the least likely place to have people traveling to, as he shifted a little bit in the seat and then towards Kosara. "After that we need to find a way to deal with the demon as well." Abraham said softly, they needed to find a way to kill a demon as big as Asmodeus.

"Silver mine it is, hopefully it's clear for hte moment, if not, I will figure something out." She stated and started the engine of the good old car. The roar of it was pleasing to the ears for someone like her and she quickly headed off." Silver mine... hmm." She mumbled something, but didn't go into specifics. She was thinking on demons and silver interactions. She couldn't think of anything direct. Weirdly enough demons were more affected by iron and salt than silver. Which actually posed several very interesting possibilities. Well except for ancient demons like Asmodeus... those ones were trickier.

"You cannot kill a demon such as Asmodeus as far as I'm aware. No mortal weapon will harm it, not even sure if demon killing knives will hurt him. It would require an item of immense killing power to take him down probably, but I don't know of such of the top of my head. Maybe something biblical...?" She stated with a shrug." Asmodeus shouldn't be upon this world quite yet though... If he's not here, all we need to do is stop his summoning and if he's here, well we shall need to exorcise the fucker back into hell. Might need a hell of a lot more than some paint, holy water and an incantation though." She stated." Thinking about it, might be a good idea to fresh up on my ancient exorcism lore."

So lifting the box went about as well as he expected, which was significantly worse than he'd hoped. The first pull he couldn't get it to budge a bit. So he stopped and stepped away to look at it as if it were a living thing defying his whims. Perhaps he was just trying to pull it wrong? That old saying about lifting with the legs, not the back. SO this time paying more attention to his form, Harry squatted down and tried to lift it again. No luck. He paced back and forth before giving one final college try, but he wasn't lifting that box. He just didn't have the muscle to move it on his own.

It was then that he noticed the tools sitting just over in that corner of the attic. Perhaps if he were a man of greater impulse, or lesser consideration he would have taken the tools and tried to pop open the box right away. But he didn't. Partially because he didn't trust the contents of the box given the family's supposed history, partially because it wasn't his box. He wasn't going to just start breaking the possessions of others open on a whim. Even in his day on the police force he'd need to get a warrant to do something like that.

"I think so," he called down to Mrs Walker. After giving the box a few moments more consideration, he turned around and left the attic. It'd be easier to carry a conversation when they didn't have to yell at each other. Not to mention it was so stuffy in here, he didn't have much of an inclination to stick around longer than necessary.

"I don't think I totally get what is going on. I mean we just saw a ghost." She started to pace nervously. What had they gotten themselves into? She hoped the kid would show up soon. Or someone would. She needed an adult. What if- She cut off the thought. "My mom died."

Finley geared up her bike and, once Declan was on, kicked it up and drove off. They would be at the lake in no time. She hated lying to her grandparents, but things were getting too close that she had no choice. If they found out how close she has been to danger they would have stopped her, especially given what happened to her dad.

They drove in silence, mainly because it's hard to talk over the engine of a motorcycle. But they arrived at the lake. "Cool, Olivia should be here soon. In the meantime, anything going on in that head of yours?"

"From that thing - not a kid, I'm sure of it," Jenna told her cousin. She knew that she should be unsettled or afraid, but she wasn't. She glanced at the crevice the kid crawled through, contemplating just going through but she was smarter than that. She picked up a rock from the ground and glanced at her cousin. "If you don't want to, I can handle this by myself," she told Lydia. The other two had already chickened out.

She then took the rock and tossed it through the crevice, watching to see if anything happened. She wasn't about to crawl straight on through herself and get stabbed by whatever was waiting on the other side, if anything was. And if it was just a trap the creepy kid wanted to spring on them, it seemed like the Indiana Jones type of thing to do - to test it out first before entering. "I mean it, Lydi...Don't come if you're scared."

The kid, or whatever it was, it was definitely freaky all things considering. Whatever that thing was, it definitely freaked her out, but she wasn't going to back out now, especially considering everything that she had seen in the past week or so. She was not going to back down now, especially considering how close they were getting to figuring everything out. There was also the whole thing with not leaving Jenna alone. Sure, she was freaking out a bit, but she was not going to leave Jenna alone.

"I am not going to leave you alone Jenn, no matter what. We're in this together all right? Don't worry about it, let's do it," she said, and what she said was true. Lydia was determined to see this through to the end, no matter what. "So, let's get going then... Do you want to go first or what?"

@Dragoknighte Mrs. Walker nodded as she went back down and waited at the steps in front of the attic stairs looking up at Harry as he came down finally. "So what did you find?" She asked, feeling a little bit hopeful but she wasn't sure what exactly he had found up there. A few seconds later the front door opened and it was Mr. Walker coming home for the day as he closed the door behind him. "I'm home." He said, as he headed up the stairs to meet up with his wife seeing that Harry was there and gave him a nod, and noticed that the attic door was open. "Anything interesting?" He asked, as he walked over and hugged his wife for a moment. "Going to start up some dinner, did you want any as well?" He offered.

@Kirah@McHaggis&@Morose@BlueSky44 The kid on the other end of the crevice just let out a very creepy cackle as Jenna threw the rock through the opening. "Come out and play with me Jenna and Lydia." The kid said in a creepy voice, and then another laugh again, would it actually be safe for you to actually follow the creepy ass kid as well? As Robin and Heather stood there outside of the silver mine there was a bit of rustling in the bushes. The plant that Heather had touched started to suddenly bloom as well, and Robin would be able to see it. The rustling came a bit more and Robert came out with his father looking at the two. "Whats going on here, Robert says that you know something?"

"There has to be something in this town to hold him down or kill him." Abe said as he leaned back in the seat and looked over at Kosara as she drove down the road. He shifted a bit in his seat as he looked at her, they were certainly going to be having a bit of a problem to see if they would have to fight him. And his age wasn't getting any better either as well, Abe closed his eyes letting out a slight sigh as he watched them get closer to town now.

Then a few seconds later they were back at the center of town, Abe gestured towards the front of the Town Hall where they would be able to find a spot to park the car. "The silver mine should just be a bit of a ways down the path behind the town hall." Abe said, as he stretched and cracked his neck a bit. "Theres a small car trail we could drive up as well." He suggested the people in town were all busy going about their business as usual.

Once they got to the lake Declan hopped off of the bike and leaned up against the side of the bike for a little bit looking over at the water which looked very peaceful. Then he turned over to look at Finley for a moment as he asked her a question he shifted a bit where he stood and rubbed the back of his neck and shrugged slightly. "Still trying to think of how to get things back to normal after Jenna." He said. "As well as the Jenna we both know." He answered and shrugged a bit, thinking a bit back on their friendship.

A few seconds later there was Olivia and Miranda coming up the dirt road as they drove up, as soon as the car stopped Olivia got out of the car and approached Finley and Declan, before Miranda could get out. "Sorry, I know I was to come alone." Olivia said rubbing the back of her neck. "But I trust her enough, if that's okay?" Olivia asked them, Declan looked towards Finley and shrugged a bit. "It's fine with me." He said.
