I have mistaken my own beard for a spider at least 4 times over the course of all my years on RPGuild.

I feel like my superhero/supervillain roleplay won't take off.

We are slowly approaching November. I grow a beard every November and then shave it off the beginning of December. My wife hates facial hair and she tolerates it for one month of the year.

As of today, it has been two weeks sense I moved put if my parents place.

I find roses, blue eyes, blonde hair, and Ferraris to be overrated, among a ton of other things.

Oof. At least I don't have blonde hair like my half-siblings, otherwise it'd be a double oof.

It has never been about the appearance. Well, maybe if you are a teen or 20-something it is. But even then. I've dated blue eyes and blonde hair and found the personalities to be quite lacking. I've also dated dark hair and brown eyes and found personalities lacking.

It's not that don't find them attractive. It's just that I find them super common.

The lute is the instrument I am most partial to as there is something atypically soothing about its usual portrayal. It is a more smooth thing with a softer sound and not played, at least not normally I understand, vigorously in any capacity and instead serves as a sort of ambiance. I do so prefer actual ambiance as well, typically natural like that of the woods, and a lute makes a charming edition to that and not so much a distraction.

I just participated in the most ridiculous farce.

I was playing texas hold-em poker on Zynga on facebook (fake money), and I got my chips to 10 mil, which was somewhat high for that cash game, where the buy ins were 800k, and then i saw the guy to the right of me take a long time preflop, so i thought "he must have a huge hand, i better fold my hand preflop and not even call the blinds, won't i look cool knowing that he has a big hand before he even raised?". so i folded 4-5 and only two people went to the flop. turned out i would have flopped a straight! to make it worse, both players jam all in. of course, the guy to the right of me had nothing, he was just on tilt and jammed anyway, and the other guy had something (but not a straight like i would have had) and he got all the chips from the guy to the right of me. i would have won a huge pot

that's not the end of the story. the farce continues...

so from this point on, i was really really mad at the guy who got all the chips. so i started playing aggro against him, trying to bet him out of pots so i could play mind games with him. in the next two hands, i did exactly that. except... he had the near nuts each every single fucking time and not only did he not reraise me with near nuts, he instant-called like a noob each time i bet into him, and to make myself even more pissed off, i jammed even though i knew he instant-called. i just wanted to beat him out of the pot. he DID NOT reraise, ever.... just call - call - call. i lost all 10 mil to this guy, practically giving him all my chips and doubling him up twice. and like a noob who doesn't even feel exhilarated with what he won, he exited the game 10 minutes later like it was another day

i knew my story would be bad the moment i saw that i missed a straight and both of them jammed, and that it would get worse. that was what my story had to be today

Yea, I never gamble. I know this is virtual funds, but still. Don't do it. Not completely true. I play 8-ball pool, but I'm betting on my skill with playing pool.

Had another great week in Fantasy Football. My team is now 6-0. Saquon Barkley, RB, NYG and Sony Michel, RB, NE both had great games this weekend.

Certainly one of the list I had listened to before, @Gunther, my thanks for you bringing it up again. I suppose now I need provide a mildly amusing fact then again. This time being that one of the few states I would care to see for myself would be Montana, simply because it is one of those largely unspoiled wildernesses, much in the same vein as others found in Wyoming or Colorado or the Dakotas.
