When I have a migraine, it begins with strange lights in my eyes. My vision diminishes as the lights increase. I must get to a dark room and go to sleep when this happens. This symptom is accompanied by body aches and nausea, but not always a headache. Two to three hours after the symptoms begin, I vomit. The vomiting relieves me of all the other symptoms aside from this strange feeling similar to being hungover, which lasts for the next 24 hours. Fortunately, it only happens about once every two years. I just had one last Thursday.

At times I am plagued by memories of the past which are difficult to shake and prove woefully distracting. The majority rise up as reminders of failures to be avoided. They are typically of the most unpleasant variety, although I understand them as strong signs of warning in life; that they serve some purpose other than to be haunts.
