It's not just you...I've been keeping an eye on the cast list and noticed the gender 'imbalance' within the houses...but like you said, it's not a problem whatsoever. It'll be interesting to see how that plays out.

One thing I'm glad (and surprised) is rather balanced are the levels/tiers. Not everyone is playing at top level and that makes things more dynamic.

Is it just me, or are all the houses very unbalanced gender-wise? I think all the members of Machina are girls, only one member of Bestia is a girl, and only one member of Phantasma is a guy. Dracona is a bit better, but that's only because there are only 3 members so far (2 guys and one girl). Not that there's necessarily anything wrong with it, but it does seem kind of odd.


Does this mean I need to make a trap in Phantasma? I'm sure I can figure out a good theme for his summons

I kinda wanna make another character but don't know where to put them.

So, I think my character is going to be in Dracona... I've been tossing around the idea in my head of him sneakily being in the girls dorm. I'll probably not go with it, but I wanted to hear your input.

I don't know...kind of a toss-up for me. If your instinct is saying no, then you should probably listen. I mean, I know I'm the GM and can just flat out reject the idea, but I'm not that kind of GM usually.

@Artifex A good yes or no never hurt anyone on dumb ideas ;P If it's a toss-up with you, how about we just toss OUT the idea :) He'll just be in the boys dorm and confuse the ever loving crap out of them :) On that mention of dorms, are they more suite style where everyone gets their own small room and small commons or one room with two bunk beds or so?

I didn't think about individual suites...hmm...

At first, it was one large shared room, but now I'm thinking I like small suites better...more private but still some shared space...less awkward for the nerds in Machina...yeah, I'm going with individual rooms that are grouped in fours with a shared common area. (I'm literally going through design ideas in my head as I write this)

@Artifex You could do like we have at my college. We have apartment style suites with a small living room area and kitchen, and then two separate two person bedrooms and bathrooms (or four or five separate one person bedrooms and two bathrooms). Maybe I'll see if I can get you the floor plans if you want a better idea of what I'm talking about.

@Artifex - That may be helpful since that way Nettle can keep a lot of the wilder growths more contained to her room.

On the topic of dorms I am welcome to anyone wishing to share a suite with Nettle. I will warn that she shares her room space with numerous insects as well as her summon Nidhogen and often dabbles in strange alchemy and incense for a variety of purposes. An odd roommate indeed.

I'll cast my vote for both A and C. I like C's aesthetic better personally and feel it fits the thematic nature of the school but, as Rune_Alchemist mentioned, A has potential for bathroom shenanigans.

Edit: I will note however that on the front it states that the school meals all take place at the Galleria. Does that mean none of these formats will include a kitchen due to that reason?

My only problem is not sharing a giant hot springs type bath some my newfound trap character can make the other guys uncomfortable....

That said, partial to A
