She has sometime tanned skin, and freckles which dot her body. She carries herself with grace: her head high, shoulders back, with a ladylike gait. She has a large variety scars and burns on her body. Her hands, particularly, are covered in light burn scarring, and her favorite and most noticeable scar in her collection is a huge jagged line that runs across her shoulder blades. Kayla is an attractive woman. She has a somewhat angular face, long and narrowing down to her chin. Her eyes are vaguely almond-shaped and are a greyish blue color like her brother. Her teeth are straight and white, but a few are artificial from her candy eating habits as child. Her hair, as well as her eyebrows, is a dark brown, and is quite long, coming down to the middle of her back when let down. She generally keeps her hair in a neat braid down her back or over her shoulder. As far as attire goes, Kayla is pretty easy. Her closet primarily comprises of leggings or jeans, sports bras, athletic material like Under Armor or Nike. She likes to wear a maroon jacket most of the time, claiming that the extra pockets give her extra storage and give her a little extra protection from the many things she's dealt with that try to hurt her. She always wears a pair of black combat boots. Most of her clothes are whites, blacks, and reds. She doesn’t wear any jewelry aside from two wedding rings- a simple gold band on her right hand and a silver diamond ring on her left. M O T I V A T I O N S & G O A L S: Making the trip from being a child to being an adult is oftentimes marked by a series of milestones throughout one's life. Kayla has lacked many, and is somewhat emotionally stunted as a result. While far from not functioning in society, Kayla's lack of respect for the world and people around her makes her destructive and disrespectful. Kayla was raised well, initially. In 2009, Arnold and Elizabeth Foster were murdered on their way home one night by some remnant of work left undone in the past. And instead of simply pursuing vengeance in the name of his daughter and her husband, her uncle, Milo Crane took things a step further. When Kyle and Kayla were fifteen years old he brought them into his home. He introduced them to the supernatural world, and made it clear to them that there was no going back now. Kayla’s nature was revealed to her, but she was too young and far from driven enough to have gained much practice. Kayla's story itself is not about vengeance, though. Her story will be more about coming to terms with what she lost so long ago, and making sure that it doesn't happen again. Bettering herself both as a magic user and as a person as she grows. |

Nothing about her particularly stands out among the number of teenagers attending Mather Memorial. While she owns nicer and more expensive clothes she typically opts for a pair of jeans matched with a t-shit or hoodie depending on the season. The most attention Marie draws to herself is the occasional deadpan comment in class; showing just enough backbone not to be made the butt of the more popular kid's jokes or pranks. To most people, Marie is little more than another piece of the school's backdrop, which, being the middle-semester transfer with a felon father, suits her fine. M O T I V A T I O N S & G O A L S: I want to play Marie as a character who hasn't been much more than a bystander in her own life. She's had wealth, but that came from her father with many strings attached, even her reputation at her former school was dictated by that which her brothers left behind from their time there. Then she suddenly finds herself in Crestwood Hollow with the chance for a fresh start that she has no idea what to do with. I want the discovery of her magic to be in tandem with her discovering the kind of person she really is, rather than whatever her family always dictated she be or do. Prior to coming into her magic, I want Marie to explore the Hollow as a sort of thrill-seeker. She feels something off with the town, and highly suspects that it is haunted, though she'd never admit to believing in the paranormal. Her main focus will be the school itself, being one of the oldest buildings in the town and having a tumultuous history behind it to boot. |

Her hair’s unique color is the only reason it has remained unaltered, unlike so many of her other features. Why would she stop strangers from swooning over it’s distinctiveness? Not unexpectedly, her eyes are a light wash of green and blue. Alabaster hued skin coincides with Rosalyn’s personality - devoid of any warmth, though she often dyes her skin with expensive cosmetics. Freckles pepper the entirety of her body and are dusted more densely atop her shoulders and the high points of her face. Her petite nose was hand-crafted, though it hardly matters with how often she turns it up to others, and her lips seem to never be bare. Dressing up is not a game, nor is it preserved for special occasions within the realm of Rosalyn, it is her lifestyle. Appearances have always been held highly by the Osborne’s and this comes as no challenge for the young woman. Her nails are neatly filed, stockings are without snags, and she would not be caught dead with a backpack on her shoulders. Her mornings begin earlier than most to maintain her facade. Those her stature itself is fairly dainty, a few inches of leather and glue beneath her heel allow her to stand at average height. M O T I V A T I O N S & G O A L S: On paper, Mather Memorial’s Rosalyn Osborne is written as the stereotypical high school mean girl. Her unrelenting bitterness and ferocity leave her capable of fulfilling the role quite well. Rosalyn is also the type to indulge herself when she wants. She can be quite selfish with no regards of how her actions may affect others. She is prone to jealousy, even when dealing with platonic relationships, and isn’t someone who’s used to sharing what she deems as hers. She is deeply flawed and may seem to be entirely incapable of serving as a teamplayer, but there is an underlying desperation she has to be seen as necessary and wanted those around her. Crowning herself Queen Bee seemed to be the easiest way to achieve this, but manipulating others to interact with her for the sake of social status has, not surprisingly, failed to fill that void. She is hunting for the chance to prove herself as more than the Osborne name while she is still in Crestwood. Discovering she is a Hexenbrut has the ability to push Rosalyn further into an innate craving for the power that seems to be owed to her blood, or she could utilize this opportunity to better her sour attitude and offer a genuine loyalty to someone other than herself. |

Some of her old friends use to joke that you could blow her over if you blew hard enough. She stands at five foot and seven inches, something her mother said came from her father’s side. Her auburn hair has a habit of crimping up into tight curls that go all over the place. Because of this, she often ties it into a messy ponytail in back. On her ears are easily seen hearing aids. Recently she soft purple highlights in her hair to livening it up. She observes the world through forest green eyes. They go surprisingly well with her sand beige skin color which can some times burn under the sun. When it comes to her clothes, Emily’s imagination and practicality mix together. She rarely wears the same outfit within the same week, but she does have some favorites. one consists of form-fitting capris with a white, round neck blouse and split sleeves. Tennis shoes decorated with sharpie graffiti on the toe and heel. It gives it the right amount of uniqueness in her mind. On a simple glance, her outfits can appear to be of high quality. With a closer look, they are obvious thrift store copycats with her own personal touch added to it. M O T I V A T I O N S & G O A L S: I’ve never played a deaf character so I wanted to try something new. I can’t say for sure how well I’ll do, but I will do my best to be respectfully portraying it. I wanted to write Emily’s journey as someone overcoming a difficult time in her life. At this point, she feels is both guilty and blameless for the accident. I want to see her go from her current guilt and depressed state into a woman that will meet the challenges and overcome them in her own way. Above everything, I want to show that her deafness doesn’t define her, but is merely a reason to be stronger. Along the way, I want her to make friends. Ones that both understand her and show her that she isn’t helpless as she thinks she is. |

She does not think too hard about the reasons he spends more time at her house than his own, but she enjoys his company. |

However, Adam likes to think he's got the 21st century Mr.Dean look going for him. Between the gelled hair, the cigarette behind his ear and his leather jacket or wool coat, depending on the season and weather. He wears band T-shirts under his jacket to school, and of course a pair of ripped jeans and converse, maybe a pair of ankle-high boots if it's really cold outside. He's pale, he doesn't enjoy being in the sun very much and would rather spend the day flirting or getting into trouble rather than engaging in sports. Not that you could tell that the guy spends every weekend drinking beer and hitting on college girls as his metabolism is still working overtime. He stands at humble 180 centimeter and weighs in at 70 kilo, a lean, athletic frame from his time on the swimming team as well as his decade long endeavor into karate. He's got a few scars, wounds that never healed right, but nothing too notable. He's got a pentagram tattoo'd on his chest and a egyptian Ankh on his collarbone, one end of the ankh peaks can be seen down his neckline through his T-shirts. When working he wears chinos and a dress shirt as well as a shamanistic necklace made out of animal bones, his hair's a little wilder and he dons a longer trenchcoat as well as a pair of dark sunglasess, regardless of the light source inside. M O T I V A T I O N S & G O A L S: You ever wanted to play the character who's the smartest in the room? Well, that's not Adam. He's not book-smart, he's barely street smart. The guy's got very little going for him except grit. Due to his hobbies and background, I think he's gonna be a lot of fun of having his perceived, and faked identity clash with what he learns about his true heritage from Crestwood. When the one field of expertise he's cultivated over the years turns out to be completely wrong, perhaps he's gonna get presented with a choice. Adapt or die. |

She considers herself average in all ways: brown hair, brown eyes, the only thing that stands out in this new england backdrop is her tanned complexion. Her chestnut locks are parted straight down the middle and hang in long, loose, wavy curls that go just past her shoulder blades in the back. These curls are kept tamed with some mousse and a smoothing serum applied after she showers, which smells vaguely fruity. She wears no make up and, aside from her necklace, no jewelry. Her ears are not even pierced, though she is considering doing so soon. The only traditional feminine beauty routine that she subscribes to is getting her eyebrows waxed, because without this weekly maintenance, they would become one unsightly unibrow. All it took was a lot of middle school aged harassment for her to ask her parents to start doing this. As for fashion, Demeter dresses more for comfort and practicality than anything else. She likes sweaters and leggings and even wears dresses if they are flowy and easy to move around in. You won’t really catch her in jeans or other tight fitting clothing, as she finds them too uncomfortable. Demi has no notable scarring, tattoos, or birthmarks — she is just your average, quiet, high school nerd. M O T I V A T I O N S & G O A L S: I am interested in playing Demeter to see how much she can grow. She was adopted by a mundie family as an infant, so she has no idea that magic is real or that she can possess it. When the study group forms, this entire world is going to be new to her. It is going to scare her and challenge her, but in the end, she will be excited for it all. She grew up reading fantasy and playing role playing games and now suddenly, she will become like the protagonists that she has read about and played. I hope that this paranormal experience gives Demi the confidence that she needs to stop being a wallflower — to see her worth and that she is anything but average. But of course, the real treasure will be the friends she makes along the way. |
P L A C E H O L D E R ![]() Myles Alexander Pershing ______________________________________________________ October 24th, 2004 | 15 | Caucasian ______________________________________________________ Homosexual | ♂ | Single ______________________________________________________ 10th, Sophmore | Unbonded | (Nico) Eastern Wolf | D E T A I L E D A P P E A R A N C E: The first thing one usually notices about the teenager, when he's not looking at the ground, are his striking azure eyes. It takes a moment but as their gaze falls they are able to take in the boyish, almost cherubic facial structure that has started strengthening and hardening as the machinations of puberty work to phase the boy into a man. Other than the bones shifting, the boy seemed to have won the genetic lottery as his straight nose, ears, and mouth all seemed perfectly proportioned to his facial structure. Soft ash-brown hair, lighter in some places but darker in others could be seen occasionally dipping into hs eyes, but was normally well styled and parted to the left. The Sophmore stood at six foot two, having grown quite a bit in the recent summer and on his last doctor's visit weighed in at 163 pounds. He lacked the broad shoulders and bulk of other boys but was well-toned and wiry showing that he was quite active, and while it was barely evident there was a contrast to the width of his shoulders and waist as most competitive swimmers tended to have. Having just spent a summer outside his usual creamy skin was bronzed over and gave the boy a healthy honey tone. And while all of this would pass through an observer rather quickly, they would also notice that the boy seemed to not even notice that he had such looks. His head was always down, looking away and rarely smiled, only giving sideways or half smirks, and only then when he decided it was required. This was usually joined in with his eyes darting to a random location as if he had trouble keeping eye contact with anyone. He had a simple style when it came to clothing, opting for a layered system where he would wear a single-colored t-shirt underneath a contrasting single-colored collared shirt. Most of the time the color scheme alternated blues and browns but every color of the rainbow could be swapped in whenever Myles wanted. Overtop of this simple outfit would be a New England Patriots hoodie and finishing the picture nine times out of ten were blue jeans of varying styles. Earphones were also constantly around Myle's neck as the music was a true sanctuary for the high-schooler. While not even able to grow more than wisps upon his lip, Myles also keeps his arms and legs shaved as many other swimmers do. This has led to some bullying but most people tend to ignore him, and just whisper. M O T I V A T I O N S & G O A L S: Myles is a combination of two of my all-time favorite original characters. He's a lovely mixture of winning the lottery when it comes to DNA and genetics while losing the lottery when it comes to a familial support system. He's heavily flawed, barely going through life's punches and just trying to make it out alive. This leads itself to some great writing moments, and good storytelling points. Overall, I wish to just, like Myles, enjoy the ride. Myles, on the other hand, is looking for a way out, a moment that will shoot him in the direction he can live with, and something better than what he has/had. He has dreams of being an Olympic swimmer or diver, but also just wants to make it through High School first. Magic will surely change him, as he will see it as a powerful gift. He will likely throw himself into research, and push the envelope of his powers. To him, it will be the push he has been looking for. |

He stands tall and proud, walking with confidence, conviction, and motivation while unintentionally intimidating any acquaintances that he comes across. A stern expression seems to always be present, masking any underlying emotions that he may have. A small, yet consistent habit of clenching his teeth bring attention to his chiseled jawline that frame his otherwise soft features. Felix's blue eyes display vividly between dark eyelashes, often being depicted first when facing most people. Felix's style typically consists of his varsity-letter football jacket, but as of late, he sports more casual clothes. He chooses to wear clothes that are plain and not loud, the majority of his wardrobe being that of neutral colors to pair with jeans or chinos, topped off with either white or black sneakers. Aside from a more mundane way of dressing, Felix is always sure to leave the house with his hair styled nicely, taking pride in his hair cut that he gets from his barber nearly every two weeks. M O T I V A T I O N S & G O A L S: Not much motivates Felix from day to day. While he has an innate way to achieve what he wants with determination, he finds nothing to truly motivate him other than his competitive nature. As of late, he has begun to fall out from his productivity, becoming lost in the solitude of his own mind. A glimpse of a goal sometimes reaches the surface of his imagination, conspiring of different methods to get out of Crestwood Hollow without looking back. Such a goal is often dismissed as he can’t see much past graduation. |

P L A C E H O L D E R Kwesi Reese Jackson ______________________________________________________ 23 February, 2004 | 15 | Black British/Afro-Caribbean ______________________________________________________ Pansexual | ♂ | Single ______________________________________________________ Sophmore | Seashell Locket (gold-plated) | Kindle, a red-sided garter snake | D E T A I L E D A P P E A R A N C E: Kwesi is particularly average as far as height is concerned, standing at around 5 ft 7 in, with a sturdy-looking frame to him. He doesn’t have the muscle mass of a football player, but neither can he be considered particularly “skinny”; he’s well filled out with well-defined upper body muscles (though you wouldn’t know it at first glance), for which he has his fondness for practical hands-on hobbies to thank. His complexion can be described as dark, and he keeps his face clean shaven. In stark contrast to this, Kwesi’s hairstyle can be described as rather loose and perhaps even “scruffy” or a “mop top”. You can call it what you like, but he’s happy wearing it this way and that’s all that matters. His brown eyes are often easy to miss, as they don’t particularly stand out from the rest of his features, but if you were to look there you would find they are always curious and attentive, taking note of everything around him and trying to suss it all out. Known to stuff his hands into his pockets by default, Kwesi’s demeanor is often considered “nervous” by strangers, as he can be somewhat jittery and a bit shy when first meeting a new face. Don’t mistake his nerves for unkindness, however, he will always greet his fellows with a smile on his face and a polite dip of his head and/or wave. But it will take some time and interactions before he will feel comfortable enough around anyone to really open up enough to start joking around, or indeed to talk about his past or his family. He doesn’t speak of what happened to his mother, though he misses her dearly every day, Kwesi is determined to move on with his life and make it as good as he possibly can, because he knows it’s what she would want him to do. Kwesi prefers the “simple and comfortable” dress style, often found in jeans or cargo pants and sneakers, with a vibrantly colourful t-shirt, sometimes completely plain and sometimes with a geometric-style print somewhere on it; he shies away from clothing which belongs to a specific “brand” and instead prefers to wear something that is simply enough to be eye-catching. Zip-up hoodies are his jacket of choice, the comfier the better. He is never found without the rose gold coloured seashell locket around his neck, while the pendant is most certainly “girly” in fashion, it belonged to his mother and holds great emotional and sentimental value to Kwesi, so he almost never takes it off. Inside of the locket is a picture of Kwesi and his parents. M O T I V A T I O N S & G O A L S: I went with a foreign exchange student truthfully because I am extremely British and really have no idea how the schooling system works in the States, so while Kwesi is learning the ropes, I am too! For Kwesi’s story, I would love for him to meet people, create some friendships and connections with other PCs and eventually have him become more comfortable and settled into life in the country and at the school. Ultimately discover the magic thing alongside the rest of the group, perhaps during the course of this he will discover the truth behind his mother’s death (to do with her status as a Magni and her former life essentially catching up to her) and have to deal with the shock/accept it all over again now that he knows the real circumstances (also coming to terms with fact mom essentially “lied” to him by withholding said info. Prolly gonna need friends to help him through it or else he’ll just turn into an emotional powder-keg and bad things will occur.) I want to try and keep him as good-natured/cheerful as possible, with just a little hint of drama and angst later on to add some more layers onto his backstory, but otherwise I’m trying to avoid making the character that always causes conflicts, that’s become my comfort zone a bit and I want to push the boat out a little! |

Uni-colored shirts, dark pants, brown shoes. The summer brings t-shirts, shorts and sandals. His thick, black hair is arguably his greatest visual asset, finely combed above his round, somewhat plump face. Of average height and above average weight, Charlie is the kind of chubby that largely goes unnoticed in clothing but quickly becomes uncomfortable in swimming trunks. He's already capable of growing facial hair worthy of someone twice his age, but opts to be perfectly clean-shaven in accordance with what his mother considers appropriate. Charlie has a reserved way about him in school and seldomly smiles cordially, nor does he seek eye-contact (though he doesn't avoid it either). Outside of school, especially when working at St. John's Special Needs Services, he tends to be more jovial. His posture is near perfect, with a straight back and eyes gazing towards the horizon. M O T I V A T I O N S & G O A L S: Charlie is very invested in St. John's and working with those in special need in general, not necessarily just children. He's committed to his studies and intends to enroll university in behavioral sciences, or possibly psychology. While Charlie has little interest in walking in his father's footsteps (something Josef worked very hard to have Chaldrie do), he does consider getting good grades and enrolling in a reputable university a good way to pay respects to his father. Upon discovering his Hexenbrut origin and all it entails, Charlie will ravenously tap his newfound potential. Up until that point he'd always considered himself unfortunate; yes, he's wealthy and sure, he's smart - but what has that gotten him? There are few outside of St. John's who know him well, and even fewer he'd consider to be friends. Discovering that he's a freaking wizard (his words) will help his mental outlook substantially and serve as a catalyst for Charlie to try and become the man he wants to be - both for himself and those who need him. To become a role model and to possibly use his powers to alleviate those in need. Indeed, to become something of a hero. |

Alluring brown eyes, a charming slender nose and plump, luscious lips, all come together to form a comely appearance most would appreciate and consider pleasant. Apart from several healed cuts and scrapes from her careless youth and other sports injuries, her complexion is free of any major scars or blemishes. Those coffee brown eyes are just as expressive as they are alluring. Often carrying a message that her words do not, one can often tell how she feels when words fail her. A warm sense of nurturing kindness can usually found in their gaze. Her usually neat and straight waist-level black hair is usually either worn free, tied up in a pony tail or elaborately braided behind her back. She eats well, and leads a frequent and highly physical lifestyle. The life she leads allows her to maintain a fit and toned figure despite being a big eater. Blessed with feminine curves and a toned body, she is proud and confident of her figure, and takes great pride in maintaining it. Her preferred clothing are usually in comfortable baggy or form fitting sports attire, or even a combination of the two, depending on her current mood. She tends to dress simply, without any resemblance off extravagance or her energetic personality. Favouring the pants over dresses or skirts for their practicality, she is usually clad in some form of pants or jeans, the only other exception being found in shorts when she engages in highly physical activity such as sports. Her favourite colours include, black, shades of grey along with white. She isn’t opposed to vibrant colours, but they aren’t usually her style, unless she happens to chance upon a printed t-shirt or any other clothing that catches her eye. She can usually be seen in a sports bra(usually from Underarmour) over a hoodie/jacket, along with pants or leggings from sports brands such as Nike or Adidas. Her footwear are similarly branded sports shoes that matches well with the rest of her outfit. M O T I V A T I O N S & G O A L S: I’d like to explore her being thrown into a new and foreign environment for her, and to explore the life of the American schooling she has heard so much of after living in London for most of her life, but has never been part of her life until now. I’ve love her to meet others, make new friends and establish relationships with the rest of the excellent trove of PCs out there. Another thing I would like to explore is to discover that this magic thing actually goes further back in her bloodline and family tree that she knows. Her parents don’t know about the connection, and the discovery only comes to light by chance later on. She often tries to emulate the behaviour of her parents as she grew, I would like her to eventually realise that she doesn't need to be a copy of her parents, or live in her shadow, and watch as she comes in her own, by walking her own path but still retaining the core values and beliefs her family holds dear. |

She loves the fact that he is a fighter and unafraid of standing up for what he wants. As someone who is also athletically driven, she has found herself slowly nursing a crush on him as time went on. The fact that he has always been kind to her only makes it that much easier to do so. Being so new, she hopes to get to know him better, and offering any form of help to him should he need so. Despite being busy with her own tennis practices, she tries to make herself available to catch him in practice. Unaware if he has noticed her in any of them, she hasn’t felt the need to make her presence be known, content with simply getting her fill before she leaves for whatever so was supposed to do. |
