@LordOfTheNight Man im getting hype for this game :)

Is it ok if my Battle Druid was capable of producing a strength elixir capable of doubling the users strength? And other such elixirs, like maybe one that can change the user into an animal, or is that just going too far? I could keep it tame and say, that maybe i can only do this once every month.

Hype!

As far as the world is considered it's basically the same as Earth. As far as maps go I am looking for blank maps that fit the mental image I have of Thaejh but at the moment I am not too concerned about it. As far as Thaejhal is concerned, it's a hilly continent roughly the size of Greenland with lots of fair sized islands around it. Lots of dense forest and lots of rain during the spring.

The Commonwealth has been dealing with the Iron Crown since before the alliance that formed the Iron Crown existed. The five houses that comprise the alliance have all been attempting bring the Commonwealth under their thumb for years also fighting the thae and each other. As far as counter-attack, nothing is on the table yet considering the war is basically at a bloody stalemate. As far as the global view of the war itself, other nations are divided into three categories. Some are willing to support the Commonwealth for fear of the Crown, some support the Crown out of old allegiances to the Last Emperor, and then some nations simply don't care because it doesn't effect them at the moment

No worries. I have no problem answering questions. It helps clear up any confusion and in some cases helped me develop the plot and setting in meaningful ways so I always encourage asking questions

@LordOfTheNight That's good to know. Thanks for answering my questions! I'll be sure to keep an eye on this thread for updates; maybe pop in for a question or two, down the line. For now, though, I have another question: does any faction currently have air or naval superiority in or around the Thaejaern front? I'd imagine Thae ships don't hold out against the Iron Crown very well unless they have magic that can defend against enemy battleships.

What about planes? There was mention of a pilot division between the Commonwealth and the Thae. I assume we (the Commonwealth) use planes, but what do the Thae use? They can probably fly thanks to their magic, but do they use beasts to control the skies or something? In a similar vein, do the Thae have an Armor Division? They can probably use Syr and other large beasts, but can they hold up against enemy armor?

Will we be travelling around or stuck in trenches for the first section of the game? Or will we be part of the first expedition into thae territory and have some exploring to do first?

@LordOfTheNight you could just use the free version of inkarnate, or we can chat a bit and I can try and fit a description of what you would want.

Sounds good to me!

For the moment, the Iron Crown controls about 4/6ths of the waters and islands surrounding Thaejhal. Thae don't have the power to sink dreadnoughts of any kind thanks to their immense size and firepower. As far as air superiority, the Commonwealth and Thae are holding their own thanks to the thae themselves.

The thae have an airforce of sorts but use the Thasor rather then planes like the humans. They can fly as fast as any plane and have superior maneuverability, not to mention they can hover in place and are much smaller targets then a plane. At one point they would have employed dragons but humans hunted them into extinction.

Armor consists solely of large beasts like Syr and creatures like Stone Golems and trees animated with magic. For the most part they can hold their own but they are have weaknesses and limitations. A particularly persistent syr can tear a tank apart if it isn't gunned down first
@Hawthorne

Our first mission will be involving the 115th storming the beaches of an Iron Crown controlled island that will create a point of insertion in the southern region of Thaejhal that will relieve pressure on the frontlines and create pressure for the Iron Crown by making them fight on two fronts
@CleanBreeze

I may have to look into that

Closest thing we have is air cav and armor. WW1 combat sort of made calvary change/obsolete

I may poke my head in and peak my interest for this one! Would it be possible to play a human infantry officer of lower rank? Standing upright, chest puffed out and ignoring passing bullets like good, proper Browncoat? Alternatively, what other roles needs to be filled out?

@LordOfTheNight it was still widely used, and is still used today, mechanization for logistics is mainly an american ww2/modern thing

There is! Lowest officer rank is an officer cadet, fresh out of the academy. No combat experience whatsoever. As far as empty roles we need standard infantry, assault, support, scouts, pilots, armor. Still pretty early on so probably a good idea to focus solely on infantry units, not armor or airforce unless we get more
