(though it makes one wonder how she beats out Sabers older than her but meh)

The simple explanation is that there is no linear scale of younger = more skilled to offset older generally being more powerful (because there are weak older Servants and some more recent outliers). Consequently, simply removing NPs from the equation doesn't guarantee an even fight; you'd have to remove some skills (mana burst breaking everything), physical strength, and possibly equalise the weapons--and depending on who it is, then it's still only even when reduced to a pure contest of skill.

Top Servants are dangerous regardless of how they come out. External factors like trickery or some overall strategy need to come in.

@LukasVolkov: Age isn't the only influencing factor, but you were approaching this from the wrong way. The older Sabers by and large have both power and skill, which is why so many of them are monstrously strong Servants and why Arturia is regarded as the best among them. Their skills are also honed for combat and not sport in many cases, which is a big factor.

This was important because it does really influence the setup you have in skills. It's not necessarily likely to come up, and like... I really don't want to give the impression that I'm complaining about someone being able to beat Arturia. I'm not. But I don't think someone like La Maupin would be able to do so in a straight fight based on the lore in the setting. That being said, I still think the idea of such a fight would be interesting but I feel like it's important to note the weaker, more modern combatant would pretty much be on the run the whole time.

For outliers in terms of much more recent Servants being able to take older ones in a straight fight, Okita would be someone to look at. She's weak, but her ability to nearly teleport and surpass material objects and causality to break things, as well as the sheer inhuman level of her skill, is a big factor. She'd still be on the disadvantaged side though. Tesla is another example, though in his case it's a lot more specific who he can take on.

That's what we were trying to get across.

Now as for your bio...

I just think it's a little poorly-defined in terms of what a "C-rank Noble phantasm strike" actually means? And a combat analysis is still pretty damn strong since it lets you figure out how to fight someone very very quickly. While we've said a lot about older Sabers vs younger Sabers being a bad matchup, knowing how someone fights is pretty helpful in making sure you don't die.

@LukasVolkov: The skill itself looks much better, but I'll admit I'm kind of confused by "Noble Phantasm skill" and saying her preferred class is Caster. ^^; Like I'm mostly just not seeing anything that would qualify her as a Caster as opposed to Saber/Assassin?

It's not like a direct issue with your bio I'm just kind of confused.

I mean, fixing it is fine and all, but Vita was asking for an explanation, not necessarily for a fix re: Caster (yet). It'd be appreciated if that, at least, could be answered.

I mean, no problems if it's excised entirely of course, but... Still.

Sorry jumped the gun. You know how some Servants can be summoned in different classes? Well that was my idea, that given her status as no Pera singer and actress she enchanted anyone who saw her perform, so she could possibly summoned in the Caster class as well as the Assassin class. Some skills manifest differently in her caster class and in her assassin class. As for the concept of Noble Phantasm skills, it’s a skill Th at acts as a passive effect, like Lancelot’s A knight dies not with empty hands, that’s actually a passive skill he has.

No, no, we understand how Servants can be summoned in different classes. The question was regarding the justification for Caster class in particular as a supposed 'best class' more than anything else.

And 'Noble Phantasm' and 'Skill' refer to two different things. There are active and passive Noble Phantasms, but a 'Noble Phantasm skill' is just a confusing way of referring to... Anything, really.

Well, this took me far longer than I said it would but I think I can safely join this now. So here's she:
🔥ARCHER🔥
🔥Class: Archer
🔥True Name: Tomoe Gozen
🔥Alignment: True Neutral
🔥Personality: Archer's smile will always be gently, so long as fury does not completely fill her heart.

As a scion of ■■■■, Archer is inherently endowed with a savage disposition. However, she managed to contain that side of herself thanks to her feelings towards her beloved one, becoming a placid woman—or so it seemed.

Archer harbors a deep love for her Lord Yoshinaka. Even though she came to understand the reason for it in due time, the fact that she wasn't able to be with him in his final moments is her greatest regret.

Archer is a willowy maiden who embodies every aspect of the beautiful melancholy that shrouds every one of the greatest Heroic Spirits.

In defiance of the demonic nature of the blood that runs through her veins, she favors the beauty of nature to conflict with others. However, if her feelings are trampled, the soothing sadness which envelops her can twist into flames of resentment, turning the usually demure warrior into an aberration of wild flames—an Inferno burning everything in her wake to ashes.

Archer's thoughts on life and death are clear-cut. She's adamant that Servants are transient existences. They are guardians who should gracefully take their leave from the world, after their purpose has been fulfilled. Moreover, Archer would never allow anything to harm the future that her beloved Lord Yoshinaka fought for. So much so that she would have no hesitations about laying down her life to defeat a great threat either to her Master or to Humanity itself.

However, if the world Archer's summoned to is a truly pacific one... maybe she can show another side of herself even she may not be fully aware of?
🔥 Parameters:

🔥Class Skills:

🔥Personal Skills:

🔥Noble Phantasms🔥

@Heavy Snark: Okay, where do I start...
Well, how about the elephant in the room: that's a wolf. You'd just be playing a wolf. A wolf that wholly understands human speech, yes, but a wolf nonetheless. No speaking, no active interaction, no nothing. Already, that's a big problem, as I am fairly certain that the other people with Masters are not particularly inclined to simply having a sapient wolf for a Servant (as opposed to, like, Lobo). I could be wrong (and people should be correcting me if I am), but given who does and does not have a Servant already, this is my current opinion on the matter.
That aside, we already have precedent for a character using cursed pelts to transform with Atalanta, who can more or less swap to Calydonian Boar form and back with that NP active. Being locked to wolf just seems sort of needlessly restrictive.

Ergo, rejected.

Actually he is capable of speech if you read the sheet, well as much as a Berserker can anyway. Think of him as a Frankenstein's Monster in terms of speech ability instead of a Lobo or Herc, short sentences, and questionable grammar but still wholly capable of interaction and dialogue if he's in the mood and wants to.

I still understand if you still think he's not good, and would be willing to change to a more standard Servant.

@Heavy Snark: I probably overlooked that bit, but fundamentally it doesn't actually change much, if at all. In the end, you said it yourself: "if he's in the mood and wants to". That implies that a majority of the time, your character would seldom interact with other characters, which given the premise, is a bad idea in general.

Also, my other points went unaddressed, so I'm going to remain steadfast in my decision here. No wolf.

Okay, so I read your rules and I have a few questions.

1. In this RP, players can have one Master and two Servants. Does this mean the player can play as the Master AND Servants? Or one or the other?

2. In regards to the "Top Servant" rule.....does that mean Kingprotea is banned from summoning?
