"Heh, one probatio more like. Being left for dead by your boss is as good as being fired, right? If I get out of this, I'm pretty sure there's a desertion in my future, doesn't take a kid of Apollo to see that. Once everyone's safe, of course," Waverley admitted, though there wasn't any anger or malice in her voice. In fact, there was a bit of...relief? She was quiet for a moment, before giving Emily a bit of a nudge and a smirk. "I love you, Em, you, Marco, Mads, even Nance when she treats me like a friend rather than a recruit. But all the power dynamics and military ranks and being anchored down, it just is not for me. Besides, the open road's singing it's song to me, has been for a while now. Can only ignore it for so long." she plucked at her strings in a short melody, though it was rather simplistic with only one hand to work with. It was cut off by the sudden vision of Marco, which made her jump in surprise. She let her arm slip off Em, her smirk slipping off her lips as Marco gave them the cryptic news and Em repeated it.

"Right, but lets do it quick. There's probably still survivors up there, and I doubt all of them are in a condition to escape on their own," as she spoke, she quickened her pace, quickly following closer behind the goddess. She slowed when the figures became clear in the distance. She gritted her teeth, her mind going somewhat frantic as Ariadne voiced her single command. "Like, a campfire or-" but it was too late, the goddess had sped off into combat with the giant. Luckily her speeding thoughts seemed to go still with focus as the only song for the occasion came to mind. They needed a burning pile? She could do that. Her fingers set into motion before she even willed them to, descending down onto the strings as she began to play, her words rhythmically tumbling from her mouth just as instinctively.

"All my money been a long time spent
On my drugs, on my rent
On my saving philosophy
It goes, one in the bank, and the rest for me"

She could feel the magic pour from within her into her guitar, like a musical magical yeast, only capable of reaching its potential after being put into a song. It drifted away from her, before intensifying, forming into a ball of fire in the air. She could feel it burning up, and she knew it wouldn't be able to last on its own like she'd been intending it to, so rather than letting it burn itself out, she continued singing.

"It goes, all my troubles on a burning pile
All lit up and I start to smile
If I, catch fire then I change my aim
Throw my troubles at the pearly gates"

As soon as she begun on the chorus, the fireball launched forward, clashing into the hulking giant, covering him in bright burning fire flickering across his skin. As she continued, she willed a spark coming off of him to grow, separating from the fire that was roasting him and growing into a small fire of its own on the ground of the labyrinth between Ariadne and the giant and the romans.

"I love you too, Em. I hope I'll see you soon. Take care of the others dear heart." Marco watched Em's face fade and he felt his heart sink like a stone. Em was his life line, his love and if he lost her...

No. It wasn't a final good bye. She'd do her task, they'd get out of New Rome and retire.

First, she had to get out of New Rome, and he couldn't do that without making sure he had Milo. He abandoned his singing for the moment and took off at full tilt from the Fields of Mars and towards the Cohorts. He could hear the alarms going off, hear the screaming, the yells of distress, but he ignored them. He had to, otherwise he might break down. His second home was about to go in flames, and he needed to make sure his little baby didn't go down with it.

He reached the deserted cohort to hear distressed squeaks from the cage Milo was resting in. He dashed over and opened it and scooped up Milo into his hands. "I'm sorry Milo... had I known I wouldn't have just left you here. We gotta go, okay?" He gently tucked Milo into his shirt pocket, as he didn't have much time to get out the full papoose or anything else. If he delayed, he'd risk his life.

He dashed outside and noticed a dragon limply flying and prayed to gods that it was Demi getting away from New Rome at least. However, from the distance he couldn't tell. He just hoped the Greek demi-god was still alive, before he started off at full tilt again, making sure that Milo was secure as he ran. He just hoped that he could make it out in time.

Mary once again decided to just roll her eyes at Leda and Kiera. She was kind of stuck here with the two of them, and was more or less the third wheel in this group. Part of her wanted to just tell the two of them to stop flirting since they had other problems to go deal with, namely all of the chaos and fire still. With New Rome falling and there being nothing really that they could do about it, they had to just go regroup with everyone else. They had to get back to the ship, and hope that they could just get back and get as many people out of there as they possibly could.

"Don't let the whole being a hero and saving our skins thing go to your head Leda," she commented to her friend, before she glanced over at Terminus as he joined them, saying that he was going to stay behind. Made some sense to her, after all, Terminus was a god and not a squishy not god like the rest of them. The next thing was a bit of a whirlwind, as Leda decided to move them at super speed yet again, and soon the three of them would find themselves back at the ship which was now on the ground and loading up with as many people as possible it would seem.

Chaos was still ensuing, that was all he could really say and do about it. There was just nothing that he could really see being done at this point, and it did bug him slightly to know that they had essentially failed in trying to save New Rome and all. Now wasn't the time to think about that though, nope, now was the time to try and get the hell out of there! Which when he glanced around didn't seem to be like there were all too many options for that one, save for the obvious being the ship that landed and was starting to let more passengers on board.

Glancing around at the carnage, and the battle field around him, it only took him a moment to make up his mind and take off running towards the ship. He had to dodge out of the way of a few obstacles that were getting in his way, but eventually Jason made it to the ship! Once he was able to, he climbed up the rope and boarded it, hitting the deck of the flying boat before moving out of the way to allow others up on board to and to hopefully not clutter the entrance ways. He had no idea how many passengers the Argo could realistically carry, but he was figuring that they were going to find out pretty soon.

"I guess I cooehld give it a try to poeht it to sleep," she said, turning her attention towards the sound of Kristin's voice, as well as the sounds of the chimera that was apparently being a bit of a problem for the other two. Janelle couldn't help but find Zeke not really knowing what a storm trooper was amusing, "Storm troopers are nahtoriously bad shahts," she decided to say with a small giggle, before figuring she might as well try and put the chimera to sleep, more or less just hoping for the best with it after all.

Her first attempts at it were horrible, almost like she had used up all of her energy or something on the several other monsters she had sent off to dreamland. Oh well, no matter, she might as well try again, since the chimera was a big problem. Her next attempt was alright, the chimera was obviously getting drowsy, but the problem was that it wasn't asleep, not completely anyway. Taking a deep breath, Janelle used all of her strength in order to finally put the damn chimera to sleep. Why couldn't it go to sleep as easily as the other monsters? That would have been way more convenient.

Kiera Donovan

Location: New Rome - Argo III Top Deck
Skills: N/A

"Thanks for the ride love." Kiera said giving Leda a smile as she started to climb up the rope ladder, seeing all of the New Romans on the top deck some of them really injured and some looked like they wouldnt last to much longer at all. Seeing the injuries were really bad as she looked away, seeing the city burning in the distance, Kiera couldnt help but feel bad that they were loosing their home as well. Alannah was just getting out of the wheelhouse seeing all of them, her face looked a bit worried as well to, she wasnt sure how many people the Argo III could realistically fit before she took charge it was her ship after all to.

"Those with serious injuries get them to the infirmary on the second deck below right away, those with minor ones get to the cargo hold on the bottom deck." Alannah said, as Kiera nodded as she went over to see Demi laying on the ground. Seeing the blood coming out of his one eye, he looked really tired and knelt down grabbing him by the arm. "I got you Demi." Kiera said while looking over at Leda and Mary as she helped Demi getting to the infirmary.

Madalyne Crane

Location: Camp Jupiter - Argo III Top Deck
Skills: Mystiokinesis, Military tactics, First Aide

Madalyne looked at the ground below she really was hoping that Nancy and the others would make it safely onto the Greek Ship, as she looked at Alannah as she gave orders for the injured and nodded. "Anyone with medical knowledge set up a triage area in their cargo hold." Madalyne ordered as she noticed that the monsters were now turning their attention to the greek ship now as well, she quickly used her magic and created a large shield that covered the entire ship. She strained slightly as she held up the shield, she'll do it for as long as she possibly could.

The Roman's quickly got to work with their orders and went to help the injured down below decks, while some of them continued to man the weapon emplacements on the Argo III's top deck. Madalyne had a feeling that the ship capacity wouldnt hold all of them, they had a plan to have a rally point just outside of Lafayette California.

Alexandra quickly followed behind Nancy out of New Rome going as fast as she could while holding the bags over her shoulders, the monsters right now were mostly focused on looting the city and taking what they could. Alexandra was breathing heavily and was nearly out of breathe when they finally made it to the Argo III, seeing the remaining members of the Legion were boarding she would spot Marco and wave him over to the two of them. "Boss lady's first." Alexandra said to Nancy gesturing for her half-sister to board first. They would see an opening in the ground slowly appear as well.

Clytius was on fire now as the Giant wasnt down for the count just yet as the Giant charged after the goddess, shoving past Waverly who would end up getting a few burns up the side of her arms as the two continued to fight. The younger probatio went in and managed to take out two of the monsters before getting hit by a cyclops with it's massive club knocking him into a barrel of greek fire killing the young probatio instantly. The broken barrel then started to pour onto the floor and near Clytius. The Goddess quickly noticed that as well turning to look at Em and Waverly waving her hand as she created an opening out of the Labryinth for the two of them. "Get out now!" Ariadne ordered as a fire started they didnt have much time before the other barrels would explode.

Kristin Reynolds

"Have you been living under a rock your whole life?" Kristin teased Zeke some more she thought that just about everyone had seen Star Wars a some point or another. Or played a Star Wars video game, or book anything like that she managed to roll out of the way just as the Chimera fell to the ground asleep now. There was just Echidna and the last of her little henchmen now as Kristin drew out her spear again and ran forward, managing to cut Echidna's side a bit.

Echidna howled in pain as she swung her hand backhanding Kristin and knocking her back a few feet. "You will all fail, if you kill me you will never know our plans." She said giving a smirk as the Mother of Monsters was backing up slightly towards an exit and opened the door revealing a set of stairs to.

Arthur Stanford

Location: Gryf's back -> Argo III
Skills: N/A

Arthur relaxed a little when Andy lit the harpies up. A small part of him as jealous of her ability to just summon lightning and throw it at people, he wished he had a power as unapologetically cool as that. His mind harkened back to how they first met, her electrocuting him, and him pushing her out of a tree. Things were simpler back then somehow, everyone was alive, and the worst he had to worry about was whether or not he'd screwed up his social life and broken a cute girls arm. Hopefully, he resolved, things would be back to that semi-normal soon.

As they landed on the Argo, Arthur rolled off of Gryf. This was good, and it looked like Dem had finished off the harpies for them. He ran over to him, seeing the damage, and frowning at the damage, but keeping his emotions in check. The Arthur of even a few days ago might have broken over this, but something in him was stronger now. Maybe it was the trauma forming over his emotions like a scab, or perhaps it was the knowledge that there were more important things than how he felt, but he was able to keep himself mostly together in the face of the damage his friend had suffered.

Andy leaped off Gryf's back and ran to her brother's side. "You did great." She told him. Worry in her voice. "We have ambrosia right? His eye will be okay right?" She asked. Not wanting to leave his side. She had her own cuts from the attacks they had taken. And Gryf needed to be taken care of too. She was torn.

Gryf needed attention she decided. He wouldn't understand Andy leaving him wounded. She could explain to her brother that she had to take care of Gryf first. And her own wounds were minor. So she took one last look at her brother before he was taken down below deck by Kiera. "Arthur, can you get me some Ambrosia too when there is a chance. I'm going to look after Gryf." She wondered if the creature could eat any Ambrosia, but since Rebecca hadn't given it to him when he first arrived she didn't trust that he could. She'd have to ask someone later.

Gryf let Andy tend to his wounds. She stayed on the deck of the ship since everyone was going below decks for the improvised medical stuff. She didn't want to get in the way. "Hey, you did good Gryf. Thank you. You were fantastic. You don't have to stay if you don't want to, but I'd love to keep working with you." She told him as she took care of the gashes.

Location: New Rome: The Labyrinth

Em felt bad, she didn't have a chance to react. To prepare. Fire wasn't really her strength. It all went sideways so quickly. Sean was dead. There was fire everywhere and Ariadne had opened a path for them to escape. Em couldn't leave it like that though. She threw some of her seeds. Having them sprout vines and used those vines to wrap around the giant as much as possible. The fire made it more difficult, but it would keep him in place.

She grabbed Waverly's arm. It seemed like she was doing that a lot. And ran for the opening. Seeing the Argo III she hoped with all her heart that Marco was already on it. Safe and sound with Milo. Please let them be okay. She thought climbing up to the top deck. She wasn't injured but Waverly was. "Get some attention to those wounds." She told her. The wounds of the heart would also have to be attended to, but that was going to much harder. A long explanation would be required to Waverly about why Nancy had chosen to order them to not enter the Labyrinth. And Em was going to have to explain why she broke that order. She had forgotten about the court-martial threat honestly. It hadn't been important at the time. Her home was burning.

Location: Argo III
Skills: First Aid

Niah stepped away from the controls for the weapons as the ship landed. She started helping people get on deck. When locations for the temporary hospital were given she moved to start helping triage. She knew basic first aid. Niah couldn't heal anyone, but she could patch wounds until someone who could came to take care of it.

Demi was obviously a serious injuring. Waverly had some burns. Em looked a little shell-shocked. Niah headed down to the cargo hold and started moving stuff around so there was room for all the injured. She didn't know how many to anticipate but she knew it would be a lot. Her chest hurt as she held back tears.

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Houston Space Center -- Houston, Texas
Skills: Archery (Combat)

”I grew up on the wrong side of the tracks, Sunshine. We couldn’t afford the simple luxury of a TV,” Ezekiel said, a bit annoyed. He wasn’t a fan of having his poverty pointed out to him. The things some of the people took for granted in camp amazed him.
The chimera finally fell and Ezekiel grinned, looking over at Janelle. ”Excellent Janelle, much obliged and better shot than a stormtrooper, I guess.” Ezekiel heard a scream and looked over to see Echidna wounded by Kristin.
She pushed Kristin back with a backhand to her face before retreating and opened the door. Echidna did what she could do to warn them against killing her. Ezekiel switched to his bow again, knowing the distance would work in advantage for his shot.
”I’d rather take our chances with that then letting you run free. You understand I’m sure,” Ezekiel said and notched an arrow to his bow before taking aim. He released the arrow when it lined up to hit her heart. Ezekiel saw it was going to miss and quickly notched another arrow and fired for a follow-up to his first.
Things seemed to slow and Ezekiel’s vision narrowed in on the path of the arrow. It connected with Echidna’s chest and sliced in and through her heart, killing the mother of monsters instantly. Ezekiel took a moment to feel satisfaction at making the kill before he took aim at her henchmen.
”Who’s next?” In hindsight, maybe killing the mother of monsters wasn’t a great idea. One, who would control the monsters now and two, what were her further plans? Ezekiel was seriously hoping that she was bluffing just to save her own skin.

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Sewers > Argo III Emergency Infirmary
Skills:

For a moment there was silence. No sounds could be heard and the world new peace, then came the ringing, a soft whistle that grew louder until it became a cacophony of voices. People yelling for traiges, others grunting sounds of battles, or the groaning noises of injured. His vision focused in and out, staring at the expanse of sky before him and the billowing clouds of smoke that began to line the air. He felt a weight on his side, then the feeling of weightlessness until he realized he was being propped up and moved to one of the triages by Kiera. Demetri snapped back into taking steps to help his would be saviour. "Its just a minor injury. I'm sure others have worse injuries I don't want to be a burden..."

The helplessness of it all was beginning to hit. Bringing back some old friends that gnawed at him from the inside and told him he wasn't allowed to take up space. He didn't want to be a burden to anyone, didn't want to worry people. But as he saw his little sister hop off her gryphon and run towards him his face sank as he realized it was already too late. "Thanks. You guys did amazing out there. I'm sure I'll be fine, maybe even get a cool eyepatch." Demetri tried to offer her a smile, help ease any feelings she may be having as he watched her slip away to tend to her new feathered friend. It wasn't a Pegasus, but he supposed a Gryphon was just as cool. His eyes lingered on her for a moment more before finally turning back to face the direction of the triages and pressed forward.

Location: The Labyrinth -> Argo III Infirmary
Skills: Perception, Musical Mystiokinesis, Guitar, Singing

Waverley's song was interrupted with a soft twang of her guitar strings as the flaming giant struck her, the flames she'd covered him with decorating her arms with an array of bright red burns. She let out a hiss, patting out the flames that had begun to spread across her jacket sleeves, before reaching her hands down to play again. Before she could, though, she was silenced by the screams of young Sean. Her eyes went wide, and she could feel the blood drain from her face. She hadn't ever seen someone burn to death. The agonizing screams filled her ears, and the smell of burning hair filled her nostrils.

It was only when she felt Em's hand wrap around her seared arm that she was pulled back to reality, letting out a soft hiss of pain. She scrambled behind her friend as she pulled the both of them through the Labyrinth exit that'd been opened for them by Ariadne. She ran through the carnage left over by the battle, running towards some sort of massive airship. The scene of Sean kept replaying in her head, burned into her memory. It was the first death she'd seen since joining the Legion. It was far more violent than any deaths she'd seen in her travels. And to such a young boy. It made her nauseous. But as they climbed aboard the ship, Waves caught sight of the vast array of injured soldiers being loaded onto the ship, seemingly outnumbering those who were helping them board. She forced the recent memory back into the depths of her mind, and turned to look at Em, slipping her arm out of the girl's grasp.

"It's...it's fine. J-just some burns. I'm gonna go help with the injured, you keep an eye out for Marco. I'll come find you later," Waverley quickly said, giving Emily's hand a tender squeeze, before slipping past away past Niah and towards the line of injured folks being lead into the ship. She joined the line, grabbing hold of the first soldier in need of aid that she could find and wordlessly following the other medic-types towards the infirmary. Upon entering, she couldn't help but flinch a little. It was filled to the brim with folks who seemed to have one foot in the grave. Some familiar Romans, some not. Her eyes, though, quickly fell on a familiar face that wasn't a Roman.

"Shit, maze guy!" Waverley exclaimed quickly stepping up beside Demi, who seemed to be accompanied by a young ginger woman. Waverley didn't seem to pay any attention to her, her eyes immediately darting down to see if the boy was in danger of death. That likely would've been more than she could handle. Luckily, she saw no fatal injuries. "You're-you're gonna be fine...do you mind if I-" she didn't finish her question, instead simply plopping down at the end of his bed. She sighed, her shoulders relaxing as she leaned back, closing her eyes. She was quiet for a short while, letting herself breathe. She'd, of course, come to the infirmary with the intention of doing some healing. All the way, she'd been thinking about what grandiose post-battle hymn she could sing to heal her people, what would be appropriate, but as she shifted her guitar to rest in her lap, she found none of them wanted to be sung. Instead, it was something simpler, lighter, more hopeful that found itself pooling into her fingertips and wetting her tongue.

"Someday in the future not too very far away
I know that things will change
No one ever thinks it will occur
By the time they do it's already okay

There will be many kinds of trees
There will be plenty of bees
All of the movies will be free to watch
We'll sit with the bunnies
in our gardens drinking honeysuckle lavender butterscotch

And we'll be out there somewhere out where we can see the sky
I'll fall on my back in the snow
And that's how you'll know
It's not just behind my eyes
Anymore
Anymore"

As she melodically promised futures to the wounded soldiers, she could feel her magic dripping from the strings of her guitar, branching through the air and finding purchase on those closest to crossing into the Underworld, dripping onto their injuries and weaving the pierced skin and damaged organs back together, just enough to insure that those touched by her magic wouldn't perish. She managed to get a decent number away from the brink of death as she plucked her strings and sang to them.

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Argo III
Skills: Superspeed

"Pfft, since when do I let things go to my head?" Leda scoffed, although she was smirking ever so slightly. She did really enjoy being the hero. Who wouldn't? There was a certain allure to being self righteous and morally right, and throw in the gifts of being a demigod and boom, you were a bonafide hero. She could imagine her comic book if she closed her eyes - it would have all the colors of the rainbow on the cover page, the artists would be properly appraised of boob physics, and the enemies would be nuanced and dressed to the nines. Mary would be her annoying know it all best friend, while Kiera would be her elusive love interest, probably the daughter of the main villain - and as Leda thought about it, that honestly tracked. Poseidon got up to some shady stuff.

She climbed up the rope ladder, emerging onto the top deck of the Argo III. She inhaled sharply through her teeth, seeing all of the injured - and the dying. It freaked her out slightly, confronting her own mortality like this - it could have easily been any of them in that position. But actions helped her to not think, so she started speeding the injured one at a time down to the infirmary, zipping back up to the deck, and grabbing the next one. In total, she was able to make eight trips before she had to take a moment to catch her breath. She had blood on her hands and she didn't even know who it belonged to at this point.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: Senate Building -> Argo III
Skills:

Nancy considered arguing with Alexandra that she should have gone first, but there wasn't the time to have a contest about who was the more selfless person. "Stay close," Nancy warned, not liking the hole in the ground that was forming one bit. She scaled the rope ladder, coming up onto the deck of the Greek ship. She was relieved to see Madalyne there, and when she spotted Niah, a little bit of tension left her body. Her best friends had survived. Losing New Rome was hard enough, she didn't know what she would have done if she had lost them as well. Nancy didn't have any medical training, otherwise she would have assisted there.

Instead, she unloaded the bags of prophecies and scrolls and everything that Alexandra had given her to carry, before looking for some place where she could be useful. She spotted that a few of the weapons weren't currently in use, and instantly went over to one that she figured she could handle. Madalyne was clearly casting a spell to help them, but just in case it wasn't enough, Nancy was ready to blast some monsters to Tartarus. In fact, she spotted some in range and Nancy started firing, hitting group after group until she had blasted seven groups of monsters into dust.

Marco ran like a bat out of hell towards the only beacon of survival, the flying ship the Greek's had arrived on. He knew Em was still in the Labyrinth... He tried not to focus on that as he saw Alexandra and Nancy. He did nod in agreement and then gestured for Alexandra to board after Nancy, feeling his chest tighten up a bit as he looked around. So many injured were being hurried to the infirmary, and he was going to head that way to see if Demi was there when he spotted a familiar face...

"EM! Thank gods!" Marco didn't care where they were, or what their current state was, but he rushed over to his beloved Em, cupped her face fully in both of his hands and kissed her deeply, letting his thumbs brush over his cheeks as he felt the start of tears in his eyes. He broke the kiss and pressed his forehead to hers before whispering softly in French, their shared language. "I am so glad to see you again my love. I was worried I'd never see you again." He let his hand trace her face, and looked her over.

Yes, he would check on Demi in a bit but Em was here. His lifeline, his love. They were together.

"All the time Leda, literally all the time," Mary said to her friend with a bit of a laugh, trying to lighten the mood ever so slightly given that currently all hell was still breaking loose. They were at the Argo though, along with a whole lot of other people which was a good thing. Since they had to evacuate as many people as possible with their current scenario. The more people they could get on the ship the better. There was just so much commotion going on, she wasn't sure what to really think as she climbed up when she got the chance via the ladder and up onto the upper deck.

She followed after Kiera a little bit to see what all was going on really. That's when she saw Demetri, looking like he lost an eyeball for some strange reason. "You managed to lose an eye in all of this chaos? Just wow," she said towards him, a bit sarcastically. In truth she was sort of glad that was the worst injury he had and he wasn't on death's door or something like that. After addressing him, she went to the nearest person who was seriously injured and started helping them along towards the infirmary. This was bad, but the more that she thought about it, the more she realized that they had gotten pretty lucky.

Jason Gauger

Location: Argo III
Skills: First Aid

Things were getting worse as more and more people started getting on board of the ship. He wasn't too sure how many more could fit on board, but he really hoped that they didn't hit the full capacity and maybe even go over with it. Jason glanced over towards the group by Demetri, seeing he'd gotten somewhat injured but thinking nothing of it as he went along with the group of people who had lesser injuries towards the cargo bay. He did have some knowledge of first aid, and he figured that he would probably be more of a hinderance for those treating the serious injuries if he went to the infirmary to try and help there.

Of course, people were barking orders all over the place, so he wasn't too sure if people even knew who was really in charge or whatever at this moment, and he partially wondered if that would cause some problems later. It didn't matter though, not now, as he went and grabbed a few things that he knew could be helpful for patching up the minor injuries and went to work, starting to help a few of the lesser injuries. The thought did cross his mind wondering what was going on with his sister and that group. Hopefully they were doing alright, and maybe were having an easier time then they were at the moment.

"It is understandable, naht necessarily 'im livin oehnder a rahck..." Janelle commented towards Kristin, "If me brahther dedn't tell me abooeht stahrm troopers bein 'ahrreble shahts I likely wouldn't know either, sence I can ahnly 'ear de shahts bein fired ahff, naht actually see whether dey 'it ahr naht." It was the truth, she didn't care too much for movies because she couldn't see what fully was going on unless someone was sitting right next to her telling her what was going on at all times, which meant that the other person might not be able to enjoy the movie entirely either.

Her attention shifted towards Echidna now though, or at least her words as she spoke, and she turned her head in that direction now. The monster was going on about how they couldn't kill her yet, since she had info that they might want. Personally, Janelle wasn't sure if they could afford to keep her alive or dead, it definitely was a bit of a conundrum. The decision on what to do was already made though, as she heard Zeke say something before she heard the monster seemingly die, meaning that Zeke likely had hit his target before they were stuck with the remaining monsters, who Zeke was only really threatening at the moment. She was prepared to attack the remaining monsters if they didn't leave or give up or something like that.

Kiera Donovan

Location: New Rome - Argo III Top Deck
Skills: N/A

"Well worse thing you could get an infection so it could be serious, so stay in the infirmary." Kiera said to Demetri, she didnt have to much medical knowledge really but there was a big chance it could get infected. As Kiera went over and searched around before finding some bandages and then used them to wrap around the missing eye Demetri now had. "You'd make a perfect pirate now though just saying." Kiera said teasingly as some random roman girl with purple hair or something and went to check on Demi. "I'll leave you two love birds free then." Kiera said deciding to go and check up on Leda.

She was just glad that her girlfriend was okay, and they managed to make it out of the city safely, she took a step to the side as a few more injured were either taken to the infirmary or the cargo hold where the makeshift triage was right now. "This is all a bit crazy huh?" Kiera asked both Mary and Leda, she then felt the ship shifting slightly as it took off into the air now, they were now leaving New Rome behind and headed back home.

Madalyne Crane

Location: Camp Jupiter - Argo III Top Deck
Skills: N/A

The main deck was still in chaos as Alexandra climbed up shortly behind Nancy followed by Marco, seeing the injured being taken to the lower decks, she quickly scooped up the documents and books that Nancy had dropped. She looked around for a moment, before entering the wheelhouse setting them here for safety for now.

Madalyne was holding up the shield around the Argo III as best as she could as some of the monsters were firing at the flying ship, her nose was bleeding slightly from the overuse of her magic. As soon as the last remaining legionaires were loaded up onto the Argo III Alannah quickly got the ship up into the air. Madalyne looked over at the city of New Rome as it burned in the evening sky green flames covered Camp Jupiter as well to, as soon as they were out of range seeing the smoke in the distance Madalyne's legs gave out as she collapsed onto the deck as well the shield dropping along with her to.

Every part of her body was aching from the overuse as she took a few deep breathes and whipped some blood from her nose, the legionaires manning the guns were still on high alert from any monsters. Gryf would snuggle up next to Andy and nudged her slightly with it's massive beak as she tended to it's wounds. The little dragon that Nancy had found landed back onto her shoulder as well looking at her expectantly for some food.

Kristin Reynolds

Location: Houston Space Center
Skills: Spear fighting

"Hey, I didnt know that you were poor so i'm sorry." Kristin said as she slowly stood up rubbing her arm slightly as she watched the remaining monsters starting to panic and quickly bolted off in different directions. It reminded her slightly of some aliens in a game that she played when she was younger, after their leader died they would scatter and flee. Kristin sighed slightly she was really hoping that they would get some information out of her. But it looks like they wouldnt at all as the mother of monsters burst into dust in the staircase she had tried to escape into.

"You did really good Janelle." Kristin said looking over at Janelle resting a hand on her shoulder and turned to look at Zeke for a moment and sighed slightly, she did hate complimenting Zeke as she felt like it would inflate his ego. "And I guess you did good as well to Zeke." Kristin said, now the main problem was that they needed to get back home now to. "We should probably figure out a way to get home now to." Kristin said.

Andy patted Gryf's beak. She didn't want to get in the way. She didn't know how to help anyone. Everything she could do was basically just fighting. "Thank you." She said to Gryf. "Couldn't have done that without you." That was the truth. She would have been forced to fight on the ground, which was fine she supposed. But in the air it was so exhilerating.

When she finished taking care of Gryf's wounds she sad down with her legs out and let Gryf place his head on her lap. The weight was comforting. She brushed her hand over his beak and the top of his head. "I wish you could talk too. You could tell me what you were thinking. And why you're different." She didn't know why some monsters teamed up with demi-gods, but she was happy this one had.

"Oh thank the gods." She pulled Marco into a hug. "You're okay." Tears started to form in her eyes. Burning them. "I'm sorry. There was a giant, Clytius. Ariadne needed our help. We lost Sean." Her voice hitched a bit with guilt. She knew she wasn't responsible but she hadn't been able to help at all. Not till they were running away. At that time she just held the Giant down and dragged Waverly out of there.

She looked at New Rome wondering if they'd ever be able to go back. It was time though. Time for her to go to college and try to live a normal life. "I'm okay." She said. She pulled out of the hug. From her pocket, she produced the shell compact and gave it back to Marco. "Guess I didn't need it." She looked around for Nancy. Did she know if Terminus was okay? But Nancy was busy helping protect the ship. Mads had collapsed. But Niah was already moving to her side having just come back top deck.

Location: Argo III
Skills: First Aid

Niah was busy trying to get people into makeshift stations. She was better at this sort of thing. Orginzaing. Then she was at fighting. It was why she had a good head for tactics. She was no slouch in the battle field. That was proven true by her rank.

Niah headed back to the top deck and saw Mads collapse. "Mads, you overexerted yourself." She said partially scolding and partially worried. There was a lot going on with Mads and she didn't know how to protect her. She glanced and saw that Nancy was busy helping protect the ship. "Let me get you down to the first aid station where we can keep an eye on you and get you some calories." She didn't want to loose sight of her friend.

Together Niah led Mads down to the makeshift infirmery and got her a place to sit. She grabbed some Ambrosia the Greeks had and gave her a small square of it. "Here, eat this." Her tone broched no argument.

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Houston Space Center -- Houston, Texas
Skills:

”There’s a lot you don’t know about me Sunshine.” Ezekiel watched the monsters who had once called Echidna mother flee before she burst into dust. It was oddly satisfying watching this monster die but Ezekiel also felt heavy inside. What if she really did have valuable information?
Ezekiel looked over at Kristin when she complimented him and he smirked. He flipped his bow over his back as he spoke to her.
”Did that kill you a little to say?” He appreciated the compliment and even though the mission wasn’t perfect, Ezekiel was proud of himself and he hoped his father was as well. As much as he hated that but even though Ezekiel was still fifteen, he was young and felt he had a lot to prove. He didn’t want to be known as the poor kid, growing up with nothing. Or the kid with a mother who stripped at night and worked at a grocery store during the day. He didn’t even want to be known as Apollo’s son. He just wanted to be Zeke. An annoying shithead who got the job done. Who you could always count on to patch you up. Today, Ezekiel got it done.
Ezekiel ran a hand through his hair, causing it to go askew every which way. He walked over the pile of dust and looked down the stairwell before he shut the door. Just encase. All that he noticed was that the stairwell seemed to go on forever. Maybe as far as to the Underworld itself. Only in Houston. He turned back around and walked towards Janelle and Kristin again.
”Ya and stop for a shower,” Ezekiel agreed. He looked over at Janelle, smiling. ”Welcome back to the ground,” he teased her.

Arthur Stanford

Location:Deck -> Infirmary -> Emergency Infirmary -> Deck
Skills: N/A

"Right, ambrosia." Arthur mumbled, easily taking orders from Andy. Honestly, the mere existence of that stuff but his mind at ease in so many ways. Magic healing items tended to make lives easier, and it was a crutch it felt like they needed, given how their lives seemed to be in constant danger, keeping it on them and easy to access would probably be the difference between life and death. Heading into the infirmary, he started rummaging through the cabinets, and eventually found what he was looking for, those lovely squares of healing bliss. He paused for a moment as a thought crossed his mind, and made a "Hmm." noise.

Arthur grabbed what he thought would be enough for Demi and Andy and himself in the moment, but also an extra square. If push came to shove, and either him or Andy were in mortal danger, he'd rather have it on his person than anywhere else. The sooner he could get it in the body of the wounded, the better their chance to survive, he reasoned. He didn't want to be out, away from the ship, have Andy get stabbed, and be helpless but to watch her die. If he could help it, he would never feel helpless again. With the requisite food of the gods in his hands, he headed back to the emergency infirmary, slipping the spare square into his pocket as he headed there. Arriving, he placed the ambrosia lightly into Demi's hands, saying, "Take this and please feel better." Before running off to find Andy, and handing her a square, before plopping one in his own mouth, and smiling as it melted in his mouth. It tasted like hot, buttered popcorn, the kind of cheap movie popcorn he'd only get to have on the rare occasion his family went to the theater. Smiling as most of his injuries faded away, he said, "Eat it, you look like you could use it."

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Sewers > Argo III Emergency Infirmary
Skills: Shapeshifting

Demetri recalled stories that his mother used to tell him about children who wouldn't brush their teeth. How cavities could lead to infections that moved into your sinuses and then ate away at your face. Kieras words struck a chord in him, reminding him that although he is half god, he is also half human. It was bad enough missing an eye, but have half his face eaten away too? That seemed a bit much even for Greek tragedy standards. He tried to imagine himself as a pirate, enjoying the aesthetic but immediately thinking about all the "booty" and "butt pirate" jokes that would fly about. He was set down in the emergency Infirmary, not wanting to be a bother but reluctantly agreeing to stay. "Sure mom, okay." His tone sarcastic but clearly listening to what Kiera was advising him. He was surprised, and glad, to see Waverly was fine and that she didn't die in a horrible cave in in the Labrynth or something.

She wasted no time in swooping in and worrying over him as well. That made three people now, as she sat down onto the floor and began to play her music, he stared out through the open cabin door and wished for a moment that zeke was there. Buy then again, he was glad he wasn't, because then he would have been in this mess as well and Demetri didn't wish that on anyone. Arthur came bolting in. Handing him a cube of Ambrosia before dashing off and having wished him better. Great now both the children were worried over him. Demi began to steep in himself, wanting to become small and unnoticed, he felt like a child with so many people fretting about him and checking on him. It made him feel small, and defenseless, and as if his mother was about to come barging in to scold him as she helped fix him up. Without notice he began to grow a bit smaller, his frame following suit as he went from 15 to 13 and resembled his younger self.

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Argo III
Skills: N/A

Leda nodded at Kiera. It was really crazy - even for demigod standards. She couldn't think of a time in history when the Romans had come to Camp Half-blood without an act of war immediately proceeding it. The two groups rarely got along, they were usually fighting and bickering - and besides, the Romans were annoying as hell. They were all uptight, stuffy, and had weird military fetishes. "Yeah, this is all fucking bonkers," she agreed. "Wonder how long it'll be till the Romans take this place back."

It would be amusing to have the Romans living with them for a little while, from a pure comedic standpoint, but Leda didn't look forward to the idea of the Romans hanging around forever. She technically was getting close to the point where she'd more or less age out, as she would be technically starting her senior year, but even that felt so silly and weird to think about. Camp Half-blood was her home. She couldn't just walk away from that, especially since it was one of the only safe places in the world for demigods - well, the only safe place now really with Camp Jupiter destroyed.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: Argo III
Skills: N/A

They were out of range now. They had lost everything. Nancy blinked back a few tears, trying to keep her composure as she stared into the distance, looking at the green flames licking the sky. New Rome had stood strong for centuries, protecting Roman demigods and training them to work as a unit to accomplish amazing things. A heavy sense of guilt and failure rested on Nancy's shoulders. She wouldn't be remember as the praetor who had kept the Legion alive - she'd be remembered as the one who let New Rome burn, an unwilling modern day Nero. She was shaken out of her thoughts by the little dragon that landed on her shoulder - the one she had named Joanie. "I don't have any food for you," she told the dragon, before sighing. "I'll look soon, okay? I need to check on someone first."

She imagined the dragon was pouting, as she went to the infirmary to see Madalyne and knelt down next to her friend. Mads had gone through too much in the last twenty four hours and she didn't doubt the physical toll it was taking on her had to be extreme. The werewolf stuff was one thing, using her magic to protect them against an army of monsters was another. "Hey, don't quit on me just yet, okay?" Nancy urged gently, putting a hand on Madalyne's shoulder. "We've still got more to do." She then turned, looking at Niah. "And you, everything okay?" she then asked, her eyebrows furrowed with concern for her other best friend.

"Wait what?" Waverley said, the strings of her guitar twanging to a stop, her head popping up to look over towards ginger, just as the words, 'lovebirds' escaped her lips. She twisted her head to look back at the injured boy, quickly saying, "That's not - I'm a lesb-" she began to say, but was suddenly interrupted by a young boy running up to the bedside of the maze guy, shoving a strange item into his hands. Part of her wanted to ask what it was, but the pained groans of those around her made her quickly realize that she'd best get back to work healing.

Her fingers began moving once more, plucking the strings one by one as she strenuously funneled the remnants of her magic into it, letting it thread throughout the room and sooth the wounds most fatal. She leaned back, her back resting against the legs of the maze guy, which seemed to be...shrinking? She didn't dwell on this thought, as her mind was quickly spurred by her music onto a soft path of ponderings. She knew she had to go. She'd given this place more than she'd given any place before, and they'd left her to die. She couldn't devote her everything to something that wouldn't devote its everything to her. It wasn't right. And it wasn't within her nature. So it was then, as music filled her ears, that she knew exactly what she had to do: as soon as they touched down, and she healed everyone she could, she'd go. This wasn't the life for her. The open road was calling her once more. And maybe, just maybe, she might one day look back at her time in New Rome. With that thought, she looked over to the trembling, young Demi, and smiled.

Marco gently pecked the top of Em's head as they held one another, even when there was a small squeak of distress from Milo as his parents nearly squished him. Marco pulled back and gently took the compact from Emily and nodded at her words. "It's okay, Em love, none of this is your fault. I'm sure they'll understand... and as for Sean... he will be remembered with honors like anyone else." He sighed deeply at that and then looked over the top deck of the Argo.

"I... want to check on Demi in a bit but Em, love... I think it's time we retired... losing the Camp...nearly losing you made me realize I'm ready to settle down. Please... will you consider it with me? Retiring to go to college and settling down?" Marco held Em close for a moment, but he was sure he knew her answer. It was their time... they had served with honor and it was time for another chapter in their life, a hopefully more quiet one.
