I think I've shown interest or joined at least 4 RPs at this point. The excruciating part is waiting for any single one of them to start.

Horror, Powers, Fantasy... Heck, I might even consider Sci-Fi if it meant that one would just get going instead of hovering in limbo

Back in the day, I was really interested in a setting inspired by The Borrowers, or at least the idea of miniature individuals living their lives under people's noses. Seriously doubt enough people would be interested to the point of filling out a group RP, but it is something that I think about from time to time.

@Leophael Have you already considered to look at RPs that are already going? Sure you might have to catch up a bit but at least they're not hovering in limbo.

@Mangrale I think I've heard one other person say that before 👀 who knows, maybe there are even more people interested ?

@Benzaiten Well if one such RP opens up, then I'd definitely consider joining at the very least. I'd love to say that if the interest was there, that I'd GM the project myself, but unfortunately I'm just not in a position to do so. There are only a handful of concepts and such that would make me jump headlong into a group RP again, but that is certainly one of them.

@Lilissen I wouldn't go pinning your hopes on me on that front any time soon. But if against all odds a Borrowers RP (or one inspired by it) does come around, and they're accepting of course, I actually wouldn't mind being made privy to it.

I want something real grit, some intense final confrontation, a battle that drags on and gets muddy and exhausting and the winner barely considers victory a win.

Thinking about possible RPs of the same broad notion of diminutive characters made me think about yet another mobile game called Figure Fantasy, where 1/7 scale figurines fight on the player's behalf. "Toy Story but infused with a large dose of action anime nonsense" feels like it should garner a healthy bit of interest, though I personally wouldn't mind someone putting their own spin on it.

Anyway, @Lilissen, if you ever come around this site again and are still in the mood for RPs kinda sorta like The Borrowers, then I've no problem listing their ICs on this post specifically, at least until you show up again. Dude, wouldn't it be funny if you like, never came back, and this post just gets filled with recommendations up until the day I pass on (from the site), leaving behind some melancholic relic for people to happen upon in the future?

Rad. Maybe something like a Lucid version of Maze Runner in which a group controls the monsters and what they can do, known as "The Nightmares" and then the protags are "The Dreamers", who basically have to escape.
