She has been outside our home significantly more. I’ve not seen her in combat, so I wonder what has changed on her end.

I don't know if you remember, but corrupted Digimon are not very welcomed in our home. Especially with her destructive virus typing, she is seen as a bad omen or straight up a monster at times. She has made a home with the organization she works for and seem to utilize her abilities and what most would say her curse in beneficial ways.
