I do mostly mean black/English Breakfast tea over green/most herbal teas.

Black Tea + Ginger + Lemon + Honey is the perfect elixer for me when I'm il

Oh, I've never tried those. Only the green/herbal ones.

It's definitely worth a try.

Just don't do Lipton, that's not even real tea.

Tetley or Yorkshire is the way to go.

Ketchup too does belong on a hot dog.

And only ketchup

And once you're done with preparing the hot dog you put it in the bin.

Would it be gauche to reply to King Kindred's post now? Should I wait until tomorrow and see if there's more posts to respond to?

I don't think there's a "right" or "wrong" answer here. We have people posting at different rates.

In terms of what people can expect from me, I plan to keep at my weekly interval. I think, particularly for GM posts during an event, having consistency allows for people to plan around. If you know the GM is going to post on Monday, then if you want to get a post in the current round you know what to expect in terms of when the GM is going to advance things.

Yep, I plan on working on my storyline with Zatanna and Plastic man in the meantime, and then working on Firestorm on Tuesday to give everyone time to interact with the event and to have enough stuff to react to in a meaningful way.

I think going 'too fast' which sometime happens in these events makes some people feel lost or shut out.

My next post will maybe be a bit later than intended. I'm playing the role of International Rescue at work today

So who does everyone want to team up with in the IC and against what villain?

I'm currently figuring out things with Shazam. Like, i have a solid beginning, a solid ending and now im figuring out the middle as I go along. Got a few ideas for things to do, but one of the big things im trying to figure out is what to do with both Billy and Black Adam, also kinda want to bring Sivannah in, but still figuring out exactly what story to do with him.

Adam I specifically want to leave for a bit to see whether anyone wants to do anything with him, solo. But being that Billy's shtick has been taken, I want to do something with him, its just a "Which one of these 3 ideas fits better."

Of course, a team-up with @Master Bruce would be great to bring the Master and Apprentice back together for a team-up, but then what do we do that for that.

One of the ideas that I kinda like for Billy in this timeline where he's been deprived his powers would be to become a Robin, but then again, that would be entirely up to @mickilennial if they would be interested in working on a story like that. But it makes sense from the standpoint of most Robins being "Orphaned, hot emotional mess with crippling parent issues that a billionaire in a Bat Costume looks at and goes "He just like me, FRFR."" Except Tim Drake, he's the one Robin who's pretty stable... Or at least the MOST stable, considering that isn't a high bar to clear in that family. Also, Ultra-Violent-Mess Thomas alongside Wholesome Billy could be a fun dynamic.

As for Villains. I kinda want Bailey to face off against the High Evolutionary, being that he still has some PTSD from being turned into a horrifying spider-monster and is the boss of the gal who did that to him, but he's one of those characters like Mongol and Taskmaster who i wouldn't say has a specific hero they battle. Its generally just "Whoever gets in his way at any given time" Sometimes its Spiderman, sometimes the Inhumans, sometimes the Avengers, sometimes the Guardians, sometimes the X-Men, sometimes he just pisses of Doom.

Speaking of Doom, thats a villain who would definitely try to take some Shazam powers if he ever discovered the Rock of Eternity. "The Ferocity of Deimos! the Mercilessness of Oceanus! The Command of Ouranus! The Inescapability of Morpheus! I AM DOOM!!!" *Thunder crash*

Another idea for crossover is that Baileys Mum in this timeline, being that her son was completely unmade from the timeline, so she had nothing tying her to New York when she fell on hard financial times, I like the idea that she's fighting the good fight, maybe as just a faceless S.W.O.R.D. agent, or maybe go the opposite route and say that she's working for what passes for C.A.D.M.U.S. in this timeline, follow the parallel that if Bailey had been in this timeline when he rescued Shazam, that she would have been one of the agents to put a bullet in him. Give him some more PTSD from that.

You've a lot to learn. Wraith only apps characters as a distraction from what he really wants to play.

No no. Wraith apps characters so he can world build then he gets so bogged down in that he loses interest for the character.

And his worldbuilding is amazing. I suppose we'll just trust that Clark is having a great time in Warworld until he comes plunging down to Earth at the right moment.

“When I am your Mayor, I will be working closely with Commissioner Henderson and we will be drafting a Vigilante Registration Act. If these people want to uphold the law, they will do so while wearing a badge and under the scrutiny of the people. Not by hiding in the shadows or through exposés. Who elected Thor?” Lionel yelled, met with a chorus of agreement as the crowd began to engage with the mayoral candidate.

“Crime has in fact risen in Metropolis since the appearance of a red-hooded hero. Instead of helping our fair city, he’s proven to be a lightning rod for trouble. As of this moment, I am calling for the immediate arrest of Thor and am putting out a reward. A thousand dollars to anyone who provides a tip that proves useful regarding his identity, a million to anyone who can bring him in.”

Well that escalated quickly. Gee Thor, you miss one lousy boat job and now we're all suffering for it.

Can I presume this is happening at the same time as the Fire Troll attack?

Thanks.

I just think it feels a bit choppy roleplaying wise to wait too long when someone's talking directly to your character and you're both waiting for the next major event in the sequence. But it's like post too quickly and no one else feels like they're getting a turn, post too slowly and you're suddenly having to account for every interaction your character should have reacted to at once and it paradoxically slows time down to a crawl.
