Gol Zhavromi

Main hold

Gol let the water run through her fore arms, taking two handfuls and splashing it to her face. Turning the faucet off she grabbed the towel slung on her shoulders and dried herself. Taking a satisfied look at herself in the mirror, polished horns and grease free, while tucking strands of her hair behind her ears. The longer she stared, her nose wrinkled at the unflattering sight of dark circles around her eyes, clusters of freckles on her cheeks and oh my god is that a huge ugly zit? " Man, This job's taking a toll on me. " She heard a grumble below her, as if to second her statement. " And I think I just grew a second stomach. "

Exiting the bathroom, she headed to the cargo holds. Grabing somthing to drink at the coolers, she went and checked the ration storage. "Well hello." At the depths of the refrigerated containers, there was a box of chocolate bonbons neatly hidden as if someone attempted to save it for some special occasion. Gol thought the owner wouldnt mind, if they did they should've hid it better enough. She grabbed the box and tossed a piece of delight in her mouth.

After that Gol then went to the Main hold for the briefing. Matthew was at it at his favorite victim again. For some reasons, of all the people he had pulled a prank on, Kayala's the most fun (Gol herself being the total opposite). Could be that she makes the best comebacks, or because of glorious moments like these. Leaning on the post while popping another treat on her mouth, Gol snickered as Matt's attempt at the Face painfully blew up on his sorry face. "Oooh, Better luck next time, Matt" Gol teased him.

The senator was just next to her, both of them never talk much except for the respectful nods whenever they pass by w/c Gol never misses. Though she tries to be friendly when she gets the chance, the senator prefers to keep to herself. Which the iradonian respects, surely she has more important things to do than waste time on the grease monkey. Nonetheless, out of politeness, Gol reached her the box, coughing slightly to catch the woman's attention. "Bon-bons?" she said, then hustled up a "..ma'am. as if it was part of protocol she's so afraid of breaking.

Marcel Severion

The Vindicator

The Agent made a dimple as he turned to Targon. Indeed he had reviewed some of his tactics, could say he's a fan even. "Ahh, yes of course. 47-b." " scratching his chin, a habit he does fondly when deep in thought. " A rather melancholic start, which i would agree to say it contributes to the psychological torture. The middle was intense, yet unhurried, as if savoring each tormenting slit.." he turned his head up closing his eyes to recall the rest, one hand behind him. He made a slight frown "yet a bit too messy , I wouldnt go as far as calling it'classless', but I think I would've done it quite differently." he then turned to back to Targon, with a smug smile of his own. " I do recommend Scaflo's sonata 10 G Op.14,2 be played in the background whilst torturing. You'll be surprised how effective it is, aside from making the whole moment more delightful than it is."

Marcel had been an interrogator himself once upon a time, a job he admits is more productive than what he does now. Though sometimes he likes to think of himself as a frustrated artist, and considers every subject a canvas that he can inflict 'art' upon. But after the last he hadnt had much assignment in that department. Deep inside he was avoiding it for some reasons, aside from ruining his favourite suit that is. He might have grown squeamish as time went by, though thinking about it he strongly objects himself on that one. This could be his chance to test himself, even if in the back of his mind he'd rather let the poor sods watch Kordath's magic on a projector screen than doing all that nasty work.

Marcel then turned to the commodore once again as Shira voiced out her concerns on the mission. " Yes, It would be nice to know beforehand if we're about to dive into." He nodded in agreement with Kordath's suggestion.

Stehrr

Location: The Raven, main hold

Stehrr had scarcely finished consuming the food he had brought with him, when Gol joined the gathering group of people in the Raven’s main compartment. ‘Excited’ would have been a slight understatement if used to describe the Wookiee’s reaction to actually seeing the Iridonian with his own two eyes. Despite Nali’s assurances that Gol was, in fact, alright, it was almost as if Stehrr couldn’t believe it until he had asked Gol himself.
《Gol! Stehrr was worried, saw you limping!》 he waved a large hairy arm in the air to catch the mechanic’s attention, shifting his weight while he waited for her to finish her conversation with Corrina. The Wookiee preferred to keep his distance from the senator, it wasn’t that she was a bad person necessarily…he just didn’t trust her. He preferred not to approach her and not to talk to her if he could, so he’d wait until Gol was done and talk to the Zabrak himself then.

Denali Keesda

Location: The Raven, main hold --> Medbay --> Main hold

Nali shook his head in amusement, unable to contain his sniggering at Matthew’s expense. Of course, that was the one problem with messing with the Face all the time, Kayala didn’t take crap and on a good day she could dish out retribution in such a fashion that it was a wonder Matthew hadn’t given up yet. He didn’t like to read into things too much, assumptions didn’t serve one well after all, but it seemed as if the resident mercenary had interrupted Kayala while she had been in the middle of something because she was on fire today.
Now that Kayala had made an appearance in the hold, however, the Echani doctor rose quickly to his feet and ducked back into the medbay. He hadn’t removed his doctor’s scrubs before joining Stehrr and the others and that was bound to cause an argument if he didn’t rectify that straight away. Nali intended to somehow help Kayala conquer her phobia of all things doctors, but there would be a time and a place for that and it wasn’t now. He draped the scrubs over the back of his chair in the medical bay and re-entered the main hold once more. At least he could talk to the Face without her screaming and retreating to use one of the other crew members as a meatshield.

"Nice one, Kayala. You'd think he would learn not to mess with you after a while, but apparently it goes in one ear and out the other, eh?" Nali smirked again, casting another look in the mercenary’s direction. ”Do you think you could at least try to be serious for a few moments, Matthew?” the doctor arched an eyebrow questioningly as Luke appeared in the hold after announcing that the briefing would be taking place in the next few moments. He just hoped that despite being a humongous man-child Matthew would hold his tongue and listen to what Luke had to say. Tattooine was a pretty rough place and they all needed to be paying attention or else someone could get hurt out there, or worse…

Matthew McConnell

Location: The Raven

Matthew tried to keep his composure, but of course, he couldn't keep back the snickering coming from his mouth. As Kayala begins walking towards him, Matt tries to act civil, sometimes "coughing" into his own arm to keep down the torments of laughter that wanted to bellow out of his mouth. Why does he think shooting a piece of gum was one of the most funniest things in the galaxy? Mostly due to a certain time he once did so, the victim not only getting mad as hell, but also smashing the entire cantina he happened to be in on Corellia. And it was anything but a Rancor in such destruction. Then again, he also found Kayala's reactions to be rather funny as well.

As the short-haired blonde "questions" him about how possible such a piece of gum got on her shoulder, she presses the gum against his lips before crossing her arms over her chest; her foot tapping slightly as she eyes him. With his glove, Matt pulls out the gum from his lips as his laughing slowly deceases, wiping a tear that was on his right eye, while still holding that slingshot of his in the opposite hand.

"Heh-heh," wheezes Matt as he gets his words straight, "N-No no! I-Iiiit was just a simple accident, ha-ha, you know? I mean, I-I totally didn't have a slingshot and tried to shoot your shoulder, ha, you know?"

He was simply lying at this point, but it didn't matter. As long as he gets a good laugh from it, he's perfectly fine...

Such a man-child...

Kyatrah Selinema

Location:Medical Bay

Kyatrah agrees with Morgbra's statement. Jaina was indeed a rather hard nut-case to crack. What she saw in the hangar bay was rather tame compared to some of the things she crossed upon. The Death Trooper could've shot her considering her no-nonsense behavior, yet she somehow refrains from doing so. She's simply mental. She doesn't mean to get in trouble, because as far as Kayla knows, Jaina thinks she's simply doing fine. Then again... perhaps a certain few were giving her some more... liberties then most. Kayla then walks over to the doctor as she sits on a nearby seat, her skull-face illuminating slightly due to the lighting in the medical bay.

"Perhaps I may have a temporary solution..." she answers calmly, "You may... not like it, but if done 'correctly', it could keep her in check, or at the very least could make her more easy to control."

As she grabs Morgbra's attention, she then tries asking him a question.

"But first... answer me this, since your working with her often."

"What does she FEAR? Because if there's something or someone that accounts to that... if one can manipulate and turn the cogs in her mind to something she fears cold-heartdly, perhaps we can use them to keep in her in check, or drag her more into reality."

Being one of the finest Imperial soldiers in the Empire's arsenal, she knows how fear and hate work, especially the former, despite not having any experience as a psychiatrist or psychologist. Her Death Squad has terrorized many planet nations for years, and even though the Empire is in shambles, their names are still known. And in the glory years of the Empire, fear was what kept the nations of the galaxy in check... at least for a long awhile anyways. Perhaps it can be easier to manipulate if it's on a single person...

Kayala Stalack

Location: Main Hold

"No of course not Matthew. I am sure it was just a slip of the tongue," Kayala said as she stood there eying him. "Or of the hands. I do hope you are not this clumsy when it comes to more sensual activities. I dare say it could leave many a woman unsatisfied," she added with a smirk before glancing over towards a few members of the rest of the crew.

She was glad to see that the doctor was no longer in his scrubs. While she wasn't fully at ease when he was in common threads it did make it easier to put up a wall between the man and the doctor when he was dressed like everyone else. "Perhaps he has wax build up in his brain. He might be due for a check up. You know I might actually enter the med bay without fainting if you were to give him a full check up Denali. You know, one complete with a prostate exam. I am sure we cannot be too careful with such health concerns. His brain may have fallen right into his ass. He might be do for a transplant at this time," she said before taking a breath and stepping passed Mathew and making her way towards the others.

She didn't hold any ill will towards Matthew, she just enjoyed taunting him as much as he seemed to enjoy screwing with her. It was a tit for tat that the two had played many times. Stopping she held up her finger and looked back over to the doctor. "Though I do think you ask too much of him at times Denali. I don't think the word serious is in his vocabulary," she added before heading over to the senator and Luke so she could be briefed on the upcoming situation. She would need the information to better put together her face for the mission at hand.

Jesmand Cartchri

Location: The Bridge

Jesmand took note of what everyone had to say and nodded in agreement. It would do well to let the rest of the members of the crew know exactly what was going on now that they had left. Though she wondered if she should be the one making such an announcement. Not that she couldn't but because they had the source of said information standing there with her. Perhaps it would be advantageous to get the story from the horses mouth as it were. The commodore was not one for announcements and she liked to see how others handled such situations. Giving people the freedom to do something like this allowed her a bit of a glimpse into who they were.

It is said that who we truly are is not measured by how we treat those who are our equals or that we can profit from but by how we treat those below us and can profit us nothing. It was something that Jesmand found to quite true over the years. She knew her crew and knew them well but that did not mean she knew everything about them. Some things she doubted she would ever know but others she felt it was pertinent that she did.

Turning she looked at those on the bridge and took a short breath before she began to speak as her arms crossed behind her back and her head was held high. "Yes, indeed. A briefing, short as it may be, to the crew as a whole would prove well. Then perhaps a more detailed for the main leads of the crew in the conference room after. Since said intelligence has come from our very own Targon, I believe it would be best if you were to do said announcement and then brief the rest of us in the conference room afterwards."

Stepping to the com for the ship Jesmand began a short premessage to the crew. "May I have your attention. Would all Lead Personnel please report to the conference room post haste for a mission briefing. All others, please stand by for an announcement from Kordath Targon. Turning she relinquished the com to Targon before looking over towards Jaina. "Come with me, you should attend this," she added before stepping off the bridge and making her way towards the conference room.

Morgbra Bonwoo

Location: Medical Bay

Morgbra listened to what Kayla had to say and nodded a bit. He understood what she was getting at but he feared it would do no good for Jaina. "If perhaps her fears did not lay with doctors and medications I could but I refuse to instill a fear of me to her with this situation. I have worked hard to gain her trust. It is one of the few things she relies on these days. Her brother, restraints, the asylum. These all are fears she has, so exploit them would be unjust for the little one. Especially by me. And I could not in good conscience allow others to do so under my order," he said rubbing his face a bit.

"I was hoping perhaps a hobby or reward system for now. Something to still her mind," he added before glancing up as the announcement came over the com. Sighing he closed his files and stood, straightening out his shirt before stepping out from behind his desk.

"It seems we are being summoned my dear. Care to join me?" he asked as he began his walk out of the medbay and towards the conference room in another area of the ship. He would normally hold his arm out for a lady but Kayla was not just any woman. He did not believe she would take it as a gentlemanly act but more as a slight to to her standing and her fierceness. One had to walk a delicate line when it came to her.

Jaina Sarbye

Location: The Bridge ---> Observation ---> Conference Room; The Vindicator

Jaina pouted slightly, surrendering the sword. She considered herself rather talented with a sword (she isn't), able to use it for a variety of purposes. Killing flies with a sword had to be in the top ten of her favorite hobbies, though it always seemed to cause people to become upset. For a moment, she felt the oncoming of despair and sadness, and Jaina's eyes widened, her grin turning sick and twisted as she forced herself to cling to happiness.

"Thank you, Commodore!" Jaina squealed, feeling relief at Jes's offer. Doing an awkward mix between a salute and a one armed hug, Jaina skipped off, leaving the others behind. She had overheard a bit of their conversation about the torture tapes, and considered asking Kordath if she could help in making the next ones. Perhaps he'd enjoy her idea of carving smiles on people's faces, so that way everyone could feel the endless glee she felt!

She stared out at the observation deck, hearing the Commodore and the others continue to converse on the bridge. She didn't pay too close attention to it, instead having a bit of a daydream. She had always pondered how to thank her brother properly for the gift he had given her. Her first solution was a cyanide pie, lovingly stuffed down his gullet. Another idea was an exploding whoopee cushion, delicately placed inside of his TIE fighter. The possibilities were endless, and Jaina let out a content sigh. One day, one day, she'd be able to pay him back for his lovely gift with one of her own.

However, she did a literal backflip at hearing Jes call for her. She loved learning secrets! It was part of her job, figuring out what people were going to do and where they were going to do it, in order to drag them back in chains. She nibbled a bit on the candy she had retrieved and went into the conference room, amusing herself with the spinning chairs. If it was up to her, everyone would be required to run around standing on the spinning chairs to travel from place to place aboard the ship.

"I think the doctor is dead," Jaina commented, smiling happily, entirely oblivious to the fact that her dear friend Morgbra was the doctor. "Can we get a cat instead this time?"

Sutton Corandel

Location: The Bridge ---> Main Hold; The Raven

Sutton rolled her eyes at Luke, winking at him as she headed out. "I'm a queen, bitch," she teased, knowing that Luke wouldn't write her up for something as harmless as that. She walked into the Main Hold, just as Nali was asking if Matthew could ever be serious for a few moments. Sutton raised an eyebrow, curious about the answer to that herself.

"At least we know he isn't a clone," Sutton teased, her tongue poking out slightly as she smiled. She couldn't help but snort at Kayala's comments, finding them perhaps all too accurate about her friend. She didn't get along with the Face, but it seemed that Kayala had decided upon a rather more sarcastic personality for the day. Sutton could live with that. "But does he have much of a vocabulary to begin with?" Sutton mused, winking at Matthew. She then proceeded to wait for Luke and the Senator to begin the briefings. And if at all possible, she'd find a way to avoid any face time with the Hutts if she could help it. She didn't feel a need to explain her past. Not today, at least.

Luke Teth

Location:The Bridge -> Main Hold

Wandering into the Main Hold, Luke was greeted with much of the attitudes he had come accustomed to in his time Captaining the ship. Most of those aboard the Raven got along, and even those who didn't were able to work together well enough to get whatever job was needed done, jokes and jabs were commonplace, and added a little more spice to the day-to-day life aboard the freighter. He let a half-smile flicker onto his lips as he listened to Sutton but in to the action, clearing his throat loudly in the usual manner - his polite way of telling everyone to shut up.

Moving up to the console in the middle of the hold, he'd activate it and bring up a holo-display of Tatooine itself, the display flickering in a slightly unstable manner as he did so. "Alright, so i'd say we're all familiar with Tatooine, whole lot'a sand, whole lot of trouble." He'd clear his throat, pointing to a trio of small figures above the planet on the display. "Been primarily under the Empire's heel since the Battle of Endor, they've got a blockade over Mos Eisley, and any Republic ships in the system are destroyed first, rather than detained." He'd glance toward the Senator in case she had something to add, but with no comment, he continued.

"Elsewhere on the planet, there's a small rebel base in Ancorhead, we should be able to approach Tatooine from an unseen vector, we'll intercept that group and get onto the ground without buzzing the Imperial's radar, easy peasy." He smiled as he glanced over those present. "Once we're down, we're going as casual as possible, blending in as any of the other scum on Tatooine while the Senator works her magic with the Hutts. Simple as that, any questions?"

Kordath Targon

Location:The Vindicator: Bridge

Looking toward Marcel with a winning smile, Kordath let out a soft chuckle as he nodded to the man's suggestion. "I have been looking for some new music, the March of the Coruscanti Guard just doesn't have that same patriotic feel that it used to." Kordath couldn't help but possibly wonder if that were because of the state of Coruscant then, once the Empire's stronghold and a symbol of its might, now a planet rife with gang violence and rioting in nearly every sector. Such was the chaos which the Rebellion brought, in Targon's eyes.

Turning his gaze back toward the Commodore as he spoke up again, Kordath bowed his head slightly as she took his suggestion to heart. "I will attempt to make things as simple as possible, dearest Commodore." He'd say to her as she turned to make her way off the bridge and down toward the conference room. Taking her place at the console momentarily, he leaned over the console as he smiled politely, as if the crew were able to see him as he spoke. "It would seem, with our somewhat incomplete blockade of the planet, that the rebels have been able to get onto Tatooine's surface in one of the other, closed star ports in Ancorhead..." He began. "As such, we are of course moving to Ancorhead to locate the star port they are using and permanently put an end to this smuggling operation, while at the same time, ambushing the next incoming ship-load of rebel terrorists. That is all for now, dearest crew."

Moving to stand up straight again, he straightened his uniform and turned on his heel, setting off toward the Conference room to hear the Commodore's more in-depth plans.

Jesmand Cartchri

Location: The Bridge -> The Conference Room

Jesmand couldn't help but smirk slightly over Jaina's actions, the girl was just so full of innocence and life despite her job and her insanity. Perhaps her insanity was the only thing really protecting her fragile mind these days. Either way she lightened up things and Jesmand nearly snorted with her comment about the doctor. Oh how she wished Morgbra had already been in there to hear that. Taking her seat she glanced towards Jaina and pointed to the seat next to her, wanting to keep the girl close just in case. Morgbra would be there shortly and he was unaware that Jaina was attending this meeting, if he showed up in scrubs it could throw her off a bit.

Glancing over towards Kordath and she rested her hands in her lap. "Before I give any details to our course of action, I would like you to fill the leads in fully on the rest of the details," she said in a quick voice. She had already requested a more in-depth briefing for her leads from Kordath when she was on the bridge. Now he was there and she didn't like to have to repeat herself but people were dragging their feet as if some unknown force from above was holding them back. (Yeah I broke the fucking forth wall - post you bastards!)

Resting back in her seat she waited for the others to arrive and looked over towards Jaina. "Once we are done here I will show you where you can practice and I will show you a few things that I feel you might find interesting. You train enough and I feel that you and I may be able to put on a little show for the crew, perhaps even allowing you to test your skills next time Kordath has a visitor that is out of uniform," she said, adding a little more enticement to the offer. She wanted to keep the young girls interest in this and rewards for goals reached was at least one way to go about it. She would talk to Morgbra later about it so he would be aware. Turning as Morgbra enter she was relieved to see he was not in his scrubs right then but in a suit and tie. Not regulation but the man only wore those when forced to. Right now was not that time. Morgbra smiled broadly as he took a seat and got comfortable. He hated these meetings but he never let it show, the commodore was grateful for that.

Jaina Sarbye

Location: Conference Room; The Vindicator

Jaina listened to Kordath's instructions with glee, her feet swinging in her seat. At the very moment Jes had indicated for Jaina to sit next to her, she had practically jumped into the chair, more than disappointed that it didn't spin. Her clothing, a customized garment filled with colorful strips, always was so pretty when she spun. Sometimes, Jaina realized that she had great potential for a circus. She closed her eyes, imagining the wind rushing through her hair as she jumped from place to place, instead hearing Kordath enter. She didn't need to open her eyes to know it was him, it was part of her job, guessing the height and weight based off of the sound of mere steps.

Jaina's eyes opened wide at Jes' offer. Squealing eagerly, she almost tackled the Commodore with a hug, before freezing. She remembered, very distinctly, that imperial code didn't involve so much hugging. She twitched a bit, as a memory tried to push itself to the surface, and her breathing spread up slightly. Pulling at her hair, Jaina frantically thought of the funniest thing she could, something to regain her mirth.

"Why did the Sith cross the road?" Jaina finally squeaked. "...to get to the dark side!"

She threw her head back, giggling and laughing, almost painfully. By the time she wiped away the few tears caused by her joy, she saw Morgbra had come inside, sitting down at the table. "It's the cheerleader! Morg, did'ya know the doctor is....wait for it....dead?! Isn't that fucking fantastic news?!"

Sutton Corandel

Location: Main Hold; The Raven

Sutton nodded at Luke's assertion about Tatooine. It wasn't the type of place for someone as respectable as the Senator, though even Sutton thought that with a grain of salt. She knew how politicians were. They were all the same in the end, and eventually, they'd be the next force they'd have to rebel against. Was it a cynical perspective? Extremely. She tried instead to focus on the mystery of the sands, of all of the enigmas and riddles that were deeper than the sands, even.

"You'll blend in quite well with the scum, Captain," Sutton teased, a bright grin on her face. That was how the pair of them met, after all. He'd gotten into a bar brawl, imperials had been present, and she saved his ass. Luke was likely the only person on the ship who knew about Sutton's past, about the secrets she kept for her mother's sake. "How long do we expect to be on Tatooine, sir?"

She knew that, in order to appear like nothing about this planet bothered her, she'd have to pull her usual shenanigans of getting leave to go off and explore with Matthew. Truthfully, though, Sutton didn't want to be on Tatooine a minute longer than she had to. "I have to say, Captain....I've got a bad feeling about this." She glanced around uneasily, her smile gone, unaware that she'd uttered those famous words, repeated so often throughout the galaxy.

Stehrr

Location: The Raven, main hold

Stehrr shifted uneasily as Matthew went over the details of the mission, it sounded a little too close for comfort for his liking, it was inevitable of course that they would eventually clash with Imperial forces at some stage of their journey, but the Wookiee had at least hoped that it would be at a later stage....and that he would be more prepared for the encounter when it happened. But they would hit Tatooine in a few hours, if that, it was hardly time to prepare himself.
"《Luke...'blending in' not really work for Stehrr.》" he piped up, as if to remind the captain. Of course, an eight foot hairy alien was bound to attract attention on a planet that was dominated largely by species of the smaller variety, mainly Jawas and Sand People. "《Maybe it not good idea, but Stehrr wants to go with you this time anyway.》"

So far as the Wookiee could see, confrontation of some kind was inevitable once they were planetside; and if that was the case then Stehrr wanted to be at Luke’s side when everything went wrong. After all, it was evident that no matter how hard he tried Luke always seemed to attract trouble, usually in the form of people trying to arrest or otherwise injure them. The recent mishap with the ship part in the cantina on Dantooine was more than enough proof to Stehrr of the kinds of scenario that could happen if he left the human to his own devices.
“《At least that way Stehrr can keep promise and protect everyone.》” if the Senator’s diplomatic talk failed to get through to the Hutts and their associates, there was always the fall back of threatening to set a very angry Stehrr on them if they didn’t co-operate and do as the Raven’s crew asked. Very few individuals in the galaxy were willing to tangle with an enraged Wookiee after all.

Denali Keesda

Location:
The Raven, main hold

Nali sat forward in his seat, leaning his elbows on his knees as he peered at the projection Luke had called up. He squinted towards the three little figures to indicate the Imperial warships, grimacing as Luke explained how long the planet had been under the Empire’s control. That was bound to spell trouble, he thought, smirking to himself. Sometimes, Luke had such a simple view of things….and some occasions it was a good thing because he could come up with whacky solutions that a more logical man like Nali couldn’t figure out on his own.

The doctor’s gaze flicked towards Sutton as she spoke up, taking in the subtle changes in her facial expression, the rapidly fading smile, the lack of mischievous spark in her eyes, that indicated something else was on her mind. It was no surprise, then, when Sutton enunciated exactly what Nali had been thinking as soon as the word “Empire” had been uttered for the first time.
“[...]Captain...I’ve got a bad feeling about this.”
Clearing his throat, Nali nodded his head in Sutton’s direction and finally spoke up.
“Sutton’s right, this sounds a LOT more dangerous and less simple than you’re making it sound, Captain. Forgive me for potentially inciting mutiny in the rest of the crew here by saying this but...what exactly happens if our merry band gets captured by Imperial troopers while you’re planetside? You’re going to depend on a doctor and a mechanic to come and rescue you?” Nali snorted with laughter, rolling his eyes slightly at the simple hilarity of that suggestion. Flashing the Iridonian mechanic an apologetic smile, he quickly added, so as not to offend his friend. “No offense, Gol, but somehow I doubt we’d be the best combination in terms of efficiency when it comes to breaking people out of jail cells.”

Perhaps in his younger years, when he had been a soldier and his sister had still been alive, Nali would have charged headfirst into the fray alongside Luke and the others (granted, mostly as an attempt to keep his sister out of trouble, but there was a part of him that had enjoyed the adrenaline rush too), but now all he could think about was the many ways that this could go horribly wrong.

Matthew McConnell

Location: The Raven

Damn... now that was quite a scorching burn towards Matt. Even as a joke it actually kinda stung a little on the inside. But regardless, he couldn't help but to laugh a little at the joke.

"You wanna bet on that tonight?" Matt taunted back as Kayala turned towards the doctor.

Despite the more burns he suffered at the tongue of the fellow Corellian, all he did was continue laughing and snickering at the jokes. He didn't care how much he actually got roasted, despite it being friendly, but it certainly did prove one thing. He leans over to Denali as he takes a breath from all the laughing he did.

"*Gasp* Ha-ha, you see?" he says to him, "Told ya her reactions are priceless!"

And with that, he then heads to the others, winking back at Sutton as he does so...

Luke then explains the mission, in where they go to Tatooine, head into a rebel base in Ancorhead, and blend in with the surrounding area. It seemed simple enough, but even Matt was skeptical on how easily it will be.

"Watch," he answers sarcastically, "Once we land, some Imperial star destroyer will come in deus ex machina style and we'll be in a fire-fight with the Imperial remnants. I bet 50 credits right here, I KNOW that'll be the case... I'll actually be surprised if it doesn't happen."

Kyatrah Selinema

Location:Medical Bay --> Conference Room

In a way, the doctor has a point. It could harm Jaina more than it should, perhaps for the worse when it comes to her mental instability. Could it work? Maybe... but perhaps too risky to do such a thing. Morgbra then mentions a hobby and rewards system that can be initiated. That was another rather good idea in Kyla's mind. It's like literally training a small child or a dog, which granted that's how she basically is... an unruly, unpredictable child.

But before she can answer to Morgbra, Kyatrah heard the Captain announce to have all Lead Personnel come to the conference room. It was indeed high time. The doctor then invites the Death Trooper to join him, with the SL simply nodding in response. As she walks, she puts on her helmet and activates her comlink back to her squadmates in the preparation quarters.

"You heard the Captain," she says sternly, "Head to the conference room on the double."

And with three people answering with a "Yes Mam'!", the comnlink deactivates as Kyla continues walking on.

Kayala Stalack

Location: Main Hold

Kayala walked over and had a seat, glancing around and smirking slightly to herself. "I doubt he does, though I did give him a dictionary on his last birthday," she said towards Sutton in regards to Matthew. She doubted he had even opened the book, it was probably being used to keep a table from wobbling somewhere on the ship.

Looking over towards Mathew out of the corner of her eye she rolled them slightly. "Only if I get to duct tape your mouth shut," she said in a coy voice before getting down to business, a slight smile to the doctor before she did and began listening to what Luke had planned.

"This seems all well and good but I do have to agree with the others. This seems a bit more than what out shell of a crew can pull off as a divided factor. No offense to the doctor or to our mechanic but I don't think their extracting personnel skills are on par for such a venture if it should come to that. While it may take longer and it may keep us in the open for more time, we might want to rethink our execution. One thing at a time, top priority first, then depending on how that goes continue. We have a plan A but we know Plan A never goes off without a hitch."

Morgbra Bonwoo

Location: Medical Bay

Morgbra chuckled a bit as he heard Jania. "Is that so? Should make things very interesting around here little one," he said as he looked towards her with a bit of mirth in his eyes. He knew that one day she would have to know what he was but for now he was her friend more than anything. If believing that for now calmed her to a point then so be it. It was the best he could expect. He had a few ideas but he would need to speak with the Commodore in private before he tried anything.

Turning as Kyla entered and three more behind her he rose both his brows. these three were not Leads; Kyla was but these three were not. The Commodore had given specific instructions and they were not being followed, this would not end well. Jesmand never took well to her orders not being followed to the letter. It showed just in the slightest as he watched them enter. Morgbra watched as she leaned back in her seat for a moment before pointing a stern finger towards the door.

"You were not called here, get out before you exit via the airlock," she said in a calm but firm voice. Glancing over at Kyla, Jesmand sat up fully on the edge of her seat. "Next time one of your troopers comes into a conference called just for the leads I will have you removed from your position."

Morgbra rested back in his seat, that could have gone a lot worse. Granted, it still could get to a more heated point; depending on what was said next by, well anyone.

Denali Keesda

Location: The Raven, main hold

As usual, Denali doesn't seem to buy into the same kind of humour as Matthew did. The Echani man leaned back in his seat, crossing his arms behind his head as he frowned at Matthew's 'bet' about them being shot right out of the sky by Imperial gunships. That wasn't how he wanted this trip to end.
"Oh, don't say that for goodness' sake! This is going to be difficult enough already without you jinxing it." Kayala joined the little gathering around the holoprojector and Nali glanced sideways at her for a brief moment, grateful that she at least seemed to share his outlook on the whole mission.

Her assessment on the ability of himself and Gol to get the others out of a compromising position earned an amused smirk from the doctor. "Indeed. I daresay that while I'm capable of holding my own in a fight, I haven't had to pick up a vibroblade for many years and if it's all the same to the rest of you, I'd like to keep it that way." Nali drew in a sharp breath, folding his hands together as he tried to consider a strategy they could put in place as a fallback. "Well, I think first and foremost our goal should be to touch down in the Anchorhead settlement without getting spotted, or else every other objective becomes moot...and without landing in the wastes, might I add or else there won't be much on the ship that will be in working order when you return. Do we have specific contacts in the rebel base who could help us?"

Jaina Sarbye

Location: Conference Room; The Vindicator

Jaina glanced over, watching the stormtroopers enter the room. Immediately, the bounty hunter sat up a little straighter, recognizing those who did not belong. She glanced around quickly, as if to confirm that three individuals not called to the meeting had indeed come to the Conference Room. Others at the table seemed to be just as surprised, and Jaina held back playful peels of laughter as Jesmand threatened the trio. Despite not understanding what death truly was, Jaina could be a bit of a sadist.

Still, they had to wait for Kordath before they could begin properly, and Jaina tugged on her hair, attempting to come up with some sort of pleasant distraction. That was the downside to working for the Empire. Back when it had been her and the streets on Coruscant, she didn't have to wait around for instructions or orders. She'd find a job, always one wanted dead or alive -- she had a tendency to accidentally kill her targets -- and complete it. It was as simple as that, there were no briefings and conference room power struggles.

"You're gonna regret that~" Jaina said playfully, staring Kyatrah dead in the eye. "Com'dore Cartchi had an axe, gave a rebel forty whacks, and when she saw what Kya'd done, she gave Kya forty one."

Sutton Corandel

Location: Main Hold; The Raven

Sutton bit her lip, guessing what Stehrr was saying. The Wookie always wanted to follow Luke to the grave, and a show of force wasn't the way to start off diplomatic negotiations with the Hutts. She glanced over at the doctor, before looking up at Luke. "I can stay behind and guard the ship, sir," Sutton offered. "It'll give me plenty of time to plan a mutiny, while helping to protect the ship."

She frowned a bit at Matthew, laughing slightly despite the horrible thing he joked about. "You sound like you want to have that happen," Sutton observed. "Got a stormtrooper kink or something?" She doubted that the answer to Nali's question would be anything other than yes. They wouldn't be doing this mission if they didn't have some sort of communication, a method in order to gain intel. It'd be ridiculous if the rebel base had no knowledge of what was about to happen, or even a communication line.

Luke Teth

Location:The Bridge -> Main Hold

Luke watched Sutton for a moment or two, chuckling at her teasing. She wasn't wrong, however, Luke had always been the type to pick some scummy bar full of criminals and murderers over anything more refined or generally safe. Things just weren't exciting that way, what was life without a little (or a lot) of risk? Watching her at her next question, he shrugged his shoulders, thinking on it for a moment or two as he glanced toward the Senator for a moment "Well, that mostly depends on how long it takes our senator to work her magic."

Then those dreaded words came from Sutton, those ones he was far too familiar with. He'd uttered them himself on numerous occasions, but it always felt like a kick in the gut to hear anyone else say them, especially Sutton. He looked toward Stehrr, hearing the Wookiee's offer to come along, Luke figured he could definitely be handy, the extra muscle would never go awry, especially when it came to dealing with the Hutts, the wookiee at the very least might've made it too much effort to just kill them all if the Hutts were bored. "Wouldn't dream of going without you, bud."

Denali spoke up with a more specific concern, one which made Luke pause, it made sense, the Imperials had started to pay much more attention to Tatooine, but they weren't wandering about in Republic uniforms, once they were on the ground, they should have been fine to blend in. Should have been. He glanced toward Matthew, letting out a slight scoff of amusement but otherwise saying nothing in regards to his bet, looking instead to Kayala as she spoke up to mirror Denali's concerns. For now he signed himself up to listening as more counter-arguments and suggestions popped up, Luke taking each one to heart as he thought.

"We've got contacts in Ancorhead, they'll get us the landing permits and make sure to wave off Imperial security so they ain't snooping around too much." He answered Denali before glancing toward Sutton as she made her own suggestion. "That's an alright idea, okay, Sutton'll stay with the ship along with Kayala, Gol and the doctor, Stehrr 'n' I will take the Senator and Matthew as some extra insurance, our contacts on the ground are insuring me Imps won't be within miles of the place, Ancorhead's still just about the scummiest spot on Tatooine, Imps don't patrol because they'll get their blasters stolen." He'd chuckle, confident as always, more than likely overly-so.

Kordath Targon

Location:The Conference Room

As Kordath moved into the Conference Room past the other stormtroopers who moved out and down the hall onto their usual routines, he cleared his throat and gave a nod toward Jesmand. "Apologies, dearest Commodore, I got caught up." He explained himself plainly, perking up as she insisted he fill in the other leads. He gave another nod, moving to the other end of the table as he looked over all those present.

"Well, as always it is lovely to see you all present, i'll try to keep this as brief as possible." Keying into the console built into the table, a hologram popped up, displaying an image of a Dynamic-Class Freighter, ID'd as The Raven. "I've done a little digging since the initial report and come up with this so far, our incoming rebel craft is a ship called 'The Raven' - usually used for transporting contraband and smuggling scum across the galaxy for the Rebel's criminal enterprises." He took a moment, clearing his throat before he continued.

"Supposedly, this freighter is carrying something a little more important than spice or munitions however, if my contact within Ancorhead is to be believed, there is a 'New Republic Senator' on board." He scoffed in an amused manner, emphasizing the title as if it was nothing more than what one would give to a child playing a game. "I'm sure you all understand what wonderful information we could be accessing from this should we capture those aboard, so, it would most likely be best to capture the crew alive if possible."

Stehrr

Location: The Raven, main hold

Stehrr nodded his head, a low rumble of agreement leaving the Wookiee as Luke agreed to allow him to accompany them. His small, dark eyes travelled over the other members of the group, resting briefly on Matthew and Corrina each as the captain listed them off as the other two people that would accompany them on the mission once they were planet-side. He shifted his weight uneasily in his seat, trying to run through possible scenarios in his head while Luke proceeded to reassure everyone who had spoken up that everything was, in fact, under control.

Despite the reassurance, Stehrr wasn't entirely sure that the mission would go as smoothly as Luke claimed.
"《Dunno Luke, Empire troops might come looking if they hear we are coming.》" the Wookiee pointed out, unable to contain the uneasy growl that followed after his statement. Stehrr wanted to believe that they could get in and out of Anchorhead with little incident, but that never seemed to happen with their little band of adventurers. "《Never know who might be watching us. Empire may find out we come to Tatooine.》" his friend would likely chide him for having such a pessimistic attitude, but if experience had taught Stehrr anything it was that trouble was bound to find them sooner or later.

Matthew McConnell

Location: The Raven

He rolls his eyes jokingly at Kayala's statement in regards of both his joke and towards the dictionary. He wasn't the type that read books, let alone seeing a use for a dictionary. He got it from Kayala on his birthday as more of a gimmick present. He didn't mind it at all though, for he simply laughed it off and gave her a needle on her birthday, filled with bantha blood he got from a local breeder in Byss. He got beat up pretty badly, but man was that funny as hell.

As Teth answered both his, Denali, and Kayala's questions, Matthew couldn't help but visually quote with his fingers as the Captain spoke of getting "permits". Most towns in Tatooine, or at least with both Mos Eisley and Ancorhead, where the breeding grounds of both scum and villainy. You can't really trust anyone there, that is unless you have some very trustworthy contracts. And that, was often rare. Matt did have a reliable hutt contractor there once, when he was a simple hired mercenary. However, when Imperial forces invaded the village, they arrested the fat slug and the valuable payment was gone. It was only lucky that Matthew was somehow was able to join the Rebel Alliance and ultimately team up with this crew of fascinating people. Count himself lucky.

It also seems like he'll be going in with both Teth and the Senator themselves. Finally Matt will be getting some action, something he's been craving for awhile. Guard duty is boring anyways, so this is a good opportunity to blow up some Imperials if he is given the chance. He then listen's to Stehrr's comment in regards to that.

"We're just magnets, big guy." Matt joked with a scroff, "We're positive, and they're negative. They can't resist us."

He chuckled a little at that statement as he rubs his chin.

Kyatrah Selinema

Location:Conference Room

At last, the two finally reached the conference room. And behind Kyla, her trio also showed up, ready to get the briefing at the mission at hand. As they got in, the Squad-leader sees both the Commodore and Jaina sitting in the room. While Morgbra's presence was rather normal, Kyla can see Commodore Jesmond's eyes glare in her direction. But she wasn't frowning upon her necessarily... but rather the three squadmates that were behind her. THEY were simply commandoes, and not commando LEADERS. The Commodore points a stern finger as she calmly, but sternly tells the three others to get out, and warns Kyla that if she did it again, then she'll be removed from her position.

The commandoes were taken a little off guard, even Kyla was a little nervous. And how stupid was she for bringing them in? Of course her squad wasn't in the leading position, other than her! How could she be so foolish? Maybe it was simply the dusty winds on Tatooine that clouded her mind a bit, or who knows otherwise.

"Apologizes Commodore. This won't happen again." Kyatrah responds coolly, but with a hint of nervousness, turning stern as she faces her troops, "Get back to your quarters, commandoes."

And with a unified salute of "Yes mam'", Techno, Sharp-Shot, and Thunda quickly walked out of the room and back to the quarters. Kyla sighs embarrassingly as she sits down in the nearest seat to her as she begins to listen to the mission at hand.

Kayala Stalack

Location: Main Hold

Kayala perked a brow at their captains suggestion and visually scoffed at the idea. Leaning up she smirked a bit as she laced her fingers together. "And you want the face who has the appropriate cover and can blend into the setting with both speech and mannerisms to stay behind while the man who can't even keep a piece of gum in his mouth as your back up? Right... Your funeral," Kayala said obviously offended. It wasn't often that her emotions showed but she was hired to do a job and that was to be a face in the crowd, not held up on some ship twiddling her thumbs and not putting her skills to use.

"Good luck Senator, you'll need it with them," she said as she turned and left the meeting. She had her orders so she felt there was no need to be around them any longer. Making her way to her quarters she shut the door behind her as she started to gather her belongings together and packing them back away. It seemed she would not need them for this mission, if that is what it could be called. Kayala had extensive experience with the Hutts, something that was known and had recently been voiced on the ship when she had spoken with the Senator earlier, and had spent most of the day thus far preparing the face needed. Seemed it was all for not but that was none of her concern anymore.

Taking each item she folded it up carefully and stowed it away, clearing her mind once again and focusing on being utilized as a ships protector now. Something that was not in her skill set. Her skills lay in in the verbal and the mental. Yes she could handle herself in a fight and she had escorted the Senator many times in the past for such endeavor's as both back up protection and as a secondary voice. She wondered why the captain would not utilized her for this but pushed the thought out of her mind. He had his reasons even if she did not see them nor agree with his decision. Yet she still felt like she had just been back handed and she wondered if it was time for her to find a better ship to be part of. If her skills were not of use here, she could easily find work where they would be.

Jesmand Cartchri

Location: The Vindicator: Conference Room

Morgbra kept his mouth shut as he listened and Jesmand took note of what Kordath had to tell them about the mission before them. He seemed a bit too happy for her liking but there was nothing to be done for it; it was how he was. She couldn't deny that he was effective when it came to his job and she was always the first to say that people should enjoy the work they have in front of them but the fact that he seemed to love putting people in pain did rub her the wrong way at times. Some were just in a position of lack of choice. Not all were as lucky as her or Kordath to have dealt with the more positive side of the Empire.

Leaning back in her seat she cleared her throat a bit. "Yes, we want their crew alive, for a multitude of reasons, as well as uninjured as possible. Kordath, please assemble a team of yourself, Kyla, Jania and three others of your choosing for when we reach our destination. The rest of us will stay back and provide overhead support if needed. I want this handled as quickly and as quietly as possible. No big booms unless it is life or death, am I understood?" she said as she rose from her place and dismissed the Leads from the conference.

"Take care of yourselves, I would hate for the infirmary to be filled come the end of this mission. We set down shortly, so please make haste you have one hour," she said before turning on her heels and clasping her hands behind her back as she stepped out of the conference room and down the hall, her feet clacking along the metal with each step she took. Kordath had said some thing's she wanted to think about and a walk always helped her clear her mind. Morbgra sighed as he stood up and straightened his jacket, he hoped certain people would keep it reeled in during this mission.

Stehrr

Location: The Raven, main hold --> Personal quarters --> Bridge/Cockpit

A surprised snort left Stehrr as Kayala excused herself abruptly from the meeting, as the Face breezed past him and disappeared down the corridor that led to the crew's quarters, the Wookiee sat forward in his seat, letting out a questioning grumble in her direction even though Kayala didn't respond and simply continued walking until even her footsteps had faded past his range of hearing. For a moment, Stehrr sat there in somewhat of a daze, blinking slowly at the seat which the Face had occupied moments ago, before it seemed to sink in that she had actually left in the middle of the briefing. Something in his intuition told Stehrr she wouldn't be coming back before the briefing finished, either.

Despite his earlier outburst at the hairbrush that Kayala had left out in the cockpit to tease him, he got on quite well with Kayala. Not quite well enough to call her a friend, but enough that he still found himself concerned that she was upset. The Wookiee rose to his feet, only to have Doc look in his direction quickly and add in a cautionary tone.
"Stehrr, buddy, I really wouldn't follow her if I were you." Stehrr simply looked in Denali's direction and nodded.
"《Don't worry, Doc. Stehrr go prepare for mission now, leave Kayala alone.》" with that, the Wookiee excused himself from the meeting and shuffled off to his own section of the dormitories.

There he busied himself with sorting through the very few possessions which he had brought with him, gathering together the items that would be of most use to him on the excursion once they touched down on Tatooine. His bowcaster would definitely be required, at best they were bound to encounter thugs of some description and at worst, the Imperial troops would be tipped off to their location. Either way, a confrontation was a likely scenario so he had best be prepared. Ensuring the weapon was in full working order, he slung it into place on his harness across his back, the spare ammunition loaded nearby, and returned to the bridge so he could watch for their approach and bring them in to dock.

Denali Keesda

Location:The Raven, main hold

Denali hoped that Stehrr had the sense to listen to his warning, at least from the direction the Wookiee seemed to be going it appeared he was indeed heading away from Kayala's personal bunk and more towards his own, which was a relief. The last thing they needed was the Face and the Wookiee getting into a fight; there likely wouldn't have been much left of Kayala by the end of it, and despite Luke seeming to think Matthew was more useful in this instance, Kayala's skill in communicating with locals was irreplacable.

Perhaps later he could attempt to have a conversation with her about it, they at least seemed to agree that Matthew's man-child tendencies were more annoying than they did good. But right now Kayala needed time on her own, to calm down. Grimacing uncomfortably, the doctor turned his attention back to Luke.
"Well, now you've gone and done it, Captain. I hope you've got a good reason for picking Matthew over her."

Jaina Sarbye

Location: Conference Room; The Vindicator

Jaina's hand shot up, right when Kordath explained that they needed to prisoners to be alive. It was one of the things she struggled with, understanding what the difference was. It was why she only went for bounties wanted dead or alive back in the day--she'd always be guaranteed to do it properly. And even the test for whether or not a person would flinch if kicked didn't always work for her. At least sixty percent of the time, she'd say a person was alive, when they were actually dead.

"Kordath, what do living people look like again?" Jaina asked. "Like...I'm still not quite sure what the difference is between a dead guy and a living guy." She grinned widely hearing that the Commodore wanted her to be put on this mission. She always enjoyed getting to have a good romp, and the rebels tended to be awfully fantastic playmates. Her mind went through the various techniques she had been dying to try out, only to hear, once more, that the Commodore didn't want them injured.

Drat.

"Can we hurt them a little?" Jaina asked. "I'm not very good at....not...hurting them." However, the very moment she finished her question, Jesmand had already left. She sighed a bit, shrugging. She'd just act as she normally did, and if the Commodore didn't like it....Well, she plastered an extra big grin on her face, she'd just have to live with that.

Sutton Corandel

Location: Main Hold; The Raven

Sutton shot Luke a look, though she didn't need to say much. Her words went without saying, mirroring the confusion of everyone else in the crew. It didn't make any sense for Kayala to be left behind, with Matthew sent out on the mission. She sighed a bit, considering the success of the Republic.

Fuck it.

"Kayala and I should go. I've worked for the Hutts before, I understand them and they understand me," Sutton said, rather pointedly. "Smuggled for them." She waited for Luke's response, fully aware that everyone in the room would look at her a little differently. The more they learned about her, the more danger her mother would be put in. "The Senator doesn't have very many chances to do this, with all due respect, Captain."

Luke Teth

Location:The Bridge -> Main Hold

Luke watched as Kayala made her protest and turned to make her way off quietly, taking the silent kick to the nuts as he was again reminded of his own thoughts in regard to his leadership. Planning had never exactly been Luke's strong-suit, it was why he had Sutton around, the man was a pilot, a smuggler and a scoundrel, like so many others he'd been thrust from a life of crime into a life as a military officer, it wasn't something he'd taken to particularly simply. He understood why she was offended, it made sense to bring her along, but Luke had hoped to leave most of the talking to the Senator and just get out of there as soon as possible, he didn't plan to mingle, he didn't plan to sneak around, or even probe for info. Luke had the kind of bad feeling which made him want to get in and out as fast as possible.

Regardless, he let out a sigh and nodded toward Denali as he brought up his own comment. "Habit of wanting a good blaster, I guess." He'd comment, turning his gaze then to Sutton as she spoke up with her own suggestion. He had of course considered her point, but in his mind Denali's point was once more brought up, the more that left on the mission meant the less that were around to make sure nothing happened at the ship. However, as if to serve as the solution to all his problems, Luke's eyes almost lit up to see HK take a few steps into the room, kitted up with weapons and equipment for the mission he was certain he would be brought on.

"Alright then, new plan, Kayala and Sutton'll come along as well, HK will stay at the ship and guard it along with the Doc and Gol." He said with a nod as he looked over those still present. "Now, that's worked out, so, start getting your things together, hopefully this'll all be done with soon." He'd say, taking a step back before turning around to head to the cockpit, his happy place aboard the ship. Part of him nagged him to go speak to Kayala, but he decided against it for now, simply grabbing the microphone to speak to her over the PA instead. "Kayala, don't put your shit away, you're comin' with." He'd say plainly before settling in his seat, letting out a long sigh.

Kordath Targon

Location:The Conference Room

Bowing somewhat toward Jesmand as she made her orders, a grin split Kordath's lips as he nodded. "Of course, Commodore, 'booms' are always so ungentlemanly, anyway." He'd comment with a hearty chuckle, saluting toward her as she'd dismiss them all and leave the room. Glancing about the room, he smiled as his eyes settled on Jaina, his beloved murder machine, excited as always for the opportunity of violence.

"The living ones do a dance when you shoot around their feet, dear, the dead ones don't!" He grinned down toward her, making a mental note to ensure all her blasters were set to stun for the duration of the mission, he wouldn't put it past her incredibly active trigger finger to put a set of holes into each rebel they came across. "And i'm sure we can hurt them /after/ we've captured them, my darling, worry not." He assured her in Jesmand's stead, glancing about the room as he clasped his hands together, considering who to bring. He figured Shira would do best to remain, fighter support was always useful and she wouldn't be giving that on the ground, and that left the rest of the choices rather easy.

"Well then, the team will be myself, Kyatrah, Jaina, Marcel, Atarin and Morgbra! I'll let you all get your equipment good and ready, and we will meet in Hangar C for once we arrive." He said in a curtly manner, giving all the Leads a nod before he shifted to make his way out and down the hall, ready to gear up.
