@Midnight Howl Not your fault. You didn't put the cat under my truck for me to accidentally run over, nor did you convince all my co-workers to refuse to take my shift so I couldn't head to the college today. You also didn't cause my truck door to jam shut or, make one job super slow and boring while the other one was super busy and frustrating. By the way, I was out of it all day because of the cat thing and almost refused to go to my first job. I messed a bunch of stuff up at work, I get the chills every time I pull into my driveway. I got out too late to go see the movie I wanted to see. My feet hurt, my head was throbbing until I took 4 Tylenols. I am super tense. Not to mention I have to fight with myself not to talk to my ex/former best friend again.

That right there is just a taste of my absolutely horrid day...Sorry, didn't mean to rant...kinda needed that, though...

• But, Lost, I am real sorry you had such a terrible day, the other day. About a year ago, I ran over my first _{and hopefully last} cat. Tore me the hell up. I was on my way to work and the poor stray ran in front and I thought it was quick enough to run past but, sadly, it wasn't. I wasn't going all that fast, either.. still driving through my neighborhood streets. Poor thing was still breathing when I stopped and got out to check. I moved it off to the side of the road where it died. As gross as it sounds, I sat there petting the poor animal till it passed.. occasionally talking to it through my tears. It's rough when shit like that happens... but, it does happen. I am just sorry you had to see what you did.. there's just some things we can't change that we wish we could. Just know, that cat doesn't have to suffer the hard life of a stray. In an odd, slightly vicious circle-of-life way, you gave that kitten it's freedom it didn't even know it needed. It'll be okay, my friend. Just breathe.
• As far as college goes, it'll still be there. I know, deadlines and whatnot, but at the end of the day, it'll be there.
• Jobs/co-workers? Screw em. Let's all take the day off and make blanket/pillow forts and watch disney movies all day in onsies. :3
• Do NOT talk to your ex, love. They are obviously exes for a reason! _{(I went through the same thing and my dumbass went against my better judgment!)}
• Don't ever be afraid to let go of the things that are bothering you. Your true friends will be there for you! Even us complete strangers :) The people who know the kind of pain you're going through / the people who care will always be here to listen! Real people have real problems. Remember that. (:

I can't make a reply tonight because I have been working literally all morning and all night since last night at 10PM. I will be heading to bed now. Every since Aaliyah was a child she's been a more introverted girl, especially after the trauma that she's experienced. She would rather chill at home by herself than hang out with others or attend a party ("Unless there's weed.") When it really came down to it, she knew that the only person that would ever have her back was her brother. Because of this, she's never let anyone in, nor does she plan to. Over the years she has battled with depression and anxiety, so she's learned how to mask her emotions when around others. When talking to Aaliyah, one could expect to hear at least one snarky or sarcastic comment. She is very apathetic, blunt, and at times can be a bit too honest. She doesn't make friends easily, but once she does she proves herself to be a very trustworthy and loyal friend. Aaliyah has always been a clever and intelligent girl, and does exceptionally well in both math and science.

Lookin' Ahead, No Turning Back

|| BIOGRAPHY ||

Aaliyah and Malik were born in Brooklyn, New York, just three minutes apart. From the very minute they were born, the twins were neglected. Growing up in the hood was hard, especially when their father was a cold-hearted drug dealer, and their mother a prostitute. They had to look after each other as they grew older, and learned to take care of themselves. By four years old, the twins knew how to steal their food from local grocery markets, and by the age of eight they were shoplifting things they needed from other shops. Their parents were never around much, therefore they did not have much guidance. As a result, the twins did poorly in school, and eventually fell into the wrong crowd of people. By the time they turned twelve, the twins were selling drugs behind their middle school and participating in other illegal activities with their crowd. Aaliyah had always been good with numbers, so she handled the money while Malik did the dealing.

Aaliyah was thirteen years and three months old when her mother's "man" touched her for the very first time. It was two o'clock in the morning, the twins had been sleeping, when the much older man came home from the bar. Drunk and violent, he made his way into Aaliyah's bedroom, and forced himself on her. She tried to push him away, which resulted in him blacking her eye. This continued on for several months before Aaliyah finally worked up the courage to tell her school counselor. CPS was called, and just a few hours later, Aaliyah and Malik were taken away.

From that point on, Aaliyah and Malik have bounced from foster home to foster home, none of them ever being a good fit. Over the course of three years, the twins have been in twenty different homes. Unsure of how to cope with her pain, Aaliyah turned to drugs and alcohol for happiness. This, however, only brought her temporary happiness. "Once the high is gone, the depression hits." She's been hospitalized once before after she had a bad reaction to a drug and attempted suicide. Now, sixteen years old, Aaliyah is three months clean. She'll drink a beer and smoke weed every now and then, but tries her best to stray from the "hard shit." She now lives in a foster home in Delbrook, and her brother in a group home in Dallas. They call each other every night, mostly so that he knows that she is alright. "I don't know how I'm going to manage without him by my side." She is trying to bring her grades up this year, and promised her brother that she would attend therapy sessions twice a week.

Thanks much Love and about the ex, he initially wasn't an ex for another reason other than I didn't want a long distance relationship. I am not talking to him fyi I can't do it. A bunch of other stuff happened involving lying and just in general being an ass, stuff that was stressing me out and depressing me so I stopped talking to him, for the better. He just recently apologized, which is great...If he hadn't apologized in the past and then squashed our friendship even farther in the dirt than he already had. I was considering responding an being a total ass but decided against it. Why stoop to his level right? Anyway. The only reason I was considering it is because I am pissed at my other friend for some rather stupid shit and had nobody to vent to, or cry to after I ran over the cat. _{Still sad btw.} I needed someone and at the time he was all I could think of, but I am cool now and level headed so the ex shall not be spoken to and I will move on with my life.

Anyway I know what a shit schedule feels like, I too work two jobs, at least until I classes start, and I know it sucks. Also I know what graveyard shifts feel like. When I was a server at Denny's they needed help with the graveyard shifts so I decided to take one shift a week. Luckily it was a Sunday shift so it wasn't to busy and I made decent money _{(Sometimes better money than when I worked my regular shift.)} And that was hell on me, especially since I left at 5 in the morning and had to come back at 3 in the afternoon and wouldn't get off again until 10, 11, sometimes 12 at night and I have sleeping problems, so I was running on about 5 hours of sleep most of the time. Geez those sucked. Anyway, I feel ya. Hang in there.

Got 2 of my 3 wisdom teeth taken out today..they gave me norcos for the pain..trying to be at work on norcos isn't gonna be fun at all! >~< and the next 3 days of soft-foods only is gonna be a bitch. x( I'll potentially be getting a reply up tonight for both my characters and the teacher/the bell/time skip. Granted the norcos don't make me too loopy. Never been on em before, but I've heard stories.
