"It's not that..well, not mostly" But how could she explain, when she couldn't even figure it out in her own mind? She watched him walk away to get dressed, and for a moment she was distracted thinking that that was such a shame. There was so much...and here she was disappointed that he was putting on clothes. "Not really, pizza is pizza, its all fantastic"

Bemused at herself, she put the salve away, and sat crossed legged, placing the album in her lap, laying her hand on its cover. "I think...that Aleida is trying to find a way to let witches keep their powers when turned. we aren't imortals, and we're highly suseptible to all sorts of things. We're human, really with....the ability to cast spells. She's sacrificing Coven members to do vampires dirty work.

She's going to destroy my parents coven" the thought of the coven her parents had worked so hard on being destroyed by that vile woman was a nightmare to Callie, but she couldn't do anything. And that seemed to make it a hundred times worse. @Kyrisse

Caius stood by the door, a thoughtful look on his face. "I always thought that witches have some sort of immortality potion they can brew. But... Well, turning themselves into vampires would definitely do the trick in the immortality section. It'd be impossible to magic after though. All magical affinity is lost when you transform into an entirely different specie." He paused for a moment. "Maybe we can still save your coven. We'll think of something. But it's better to think with a full stomach. Hold on. I'll be back," he said and then disappeared out the door.

A few minutes later, he walked back in with four boxes of pizza. "I'm sure I can do better than pizza next time... Dinner is served," he flipped open the first box and gestured to it.

"Hybrids were once thought impossible too" Callie said softly, but htere had been stories of hybrids surviving, that mix of vampire and werewolf somehow working, although she suspected that there was some sort of witch craft there. "Nothings impossible" She knew of the immortality potion, but she also knew that there was a balance in nature. Something like that...it would call for a great price for the user.

She watched him walk away, and then come pack with pizza. She had thought he'd been kidding about four pizza's, but clearly not. "Ah, but Pizza is pretty amazing" She said with a smile, leaning over and taking a slice, she used her hand quite contentedly as a plate, moving the album out of harms way, before taking a bite of the slice.

There really was nothing quite like pizza.

"Honestly, hybrids give me the creeps. Nothing against our vampire neighbors... I should hate them, probably. But no, I have nothing against them. But being half vampire and half wolf? There's something there that bothers me. Something that doesn't feel right. Of course I can't say I've met any." He shrugged and in no time wolfed down the first box of pizza. He nodded. "Yeah, pizza's always nice." He nudged the second box towards her and then stood up. He came back with two glasses of water.

He took another slice of pizza and bit into it, a thoughtful look on his face. "So, any ideas on how to take back your coven? I mean, after all that ruckus we made back there, they'd eventually figure out that you've been there. I'm guessing that they'd know a wolf has been there too... Hmmm... maybe they were even hoping for you to show up. If I hadn't been with you, you'd probably be dead or turned into a vampire by now."

Callie thought in that, eating her slice of pizza, totally unsure what she would do from here. That was a rather disturbing thought. She finished off the slice, absently taking another. "hm. I didn't think of that...Aleida would probably want me dead, rather then to come back and seek vengeance...I don't know if I can get the coven back. I won't force them to fight over me, and I won't force them to choose, and probably split the coven"

She gave a shrug, but the thought of never being apart of the coven again, was painful. "I'm more worried that she'll keep on turning them, to
Chase something that probably can't be done like that. She's power hungry, and she'll destroy the coven"@Kyrisse

Caius finished the next two boxes of pizza easily. Fighting had made him ravenous and at the back of his mind, he wondered how Callie would think seeing him eat this much. He chuckled at the thought and pushed aside the three empty boxes. He opened the last box but didn't eat, thinking of how it should be reserved for her as she had only eaten one a half slices. "We should do something to prevent more of your kind from being turned. If this place is overrun with uncontrollable fledgling, the wolves in my pack would not hesitate to kill them all."

Callie took another slice, then nudged the open box back to Caius, who seemed to have been quite hungry-she wondered if that was the transformation, or the fighting. "Well, there is some things I can do, but I need to replunish some of my potions-well, all of them actually, and some charms...I'll have to collect what I need, tomorrow" She said, thoughtful as she finished off her slices, taking a sip of water.

"I'll have to harvest the herbs..." Which meant going to the forest, and searching for the specific ones she needed, that would take time. "But that's for tomorrow" She grabbed a napkin, wiping her hands, She couldn't do much for today, without any supplies. "You can have the rest"@Kyrisse

"Fighting always makes me ravenous. But I'd say that almost three boxes of pizza is should be enough for now." Caius chuckled as he stood up and stretched. He flipped the lid of the fourth box close and pushed it aside. "Let's just save this for tomorrow." He gestured over to the bed. "The bed's yours." He walked over to the couch and settled down on it. He figured she'd like to at least have a bit of privacy when she slept even though they had already been intimate earlier.

"I'll help you out with whatever you need to do tomorrow," he said, his eyes already half closed.

Callie sat where she was a moment longer, glancing to the bed and then to Caius. It seemed a little redundant to sleep apart, given everything today. Was he trying to be...gentlemanly? A smile played at her lips, She wasn't sure what she herself felt, but there was definetely a draw to Caius. She...knew that she had never felt anything like this before. Was that apart of the imprinting, or was it something else?

Was it that sometimes you just...knew?

Maybe she'd never know if she didn't take a risk...What was the risk here? That she'd be wrapped into something serious? That didn't seem to be a risk. No, the risk was...that they were both different species. She was a witch, human.He was a werewolf. That didn't scare her, not really. What scared her...was that he'd hold back, because of that.

Just how much did she like him, if she was thinking that?

Callie rose, letting her mind flutter about, but her body act. She walked over to Caius, already feeling her heart speeding up, a nervous, butterfly in the stomach feeling churing through her, as she studied him. "Hmmm. I think it would be much better on the bed, but..." She leaned down, and kissed him, only briefly, "Caius, I...There's a lot that I don't know, but I do know today has been both the worst and best day of my life. You made it the best"@Kyrisse

Callie was right even if she didn't know it. It bothered Caius that he was a werewolf and she was a human. Not in the sense that they were of different species but more because he was afraid that he might put her in danger or worse, he'd hurt her. Of course, he would go to all lengths to protect her, even laying down his life to keep her safe. But sometimes things just have a way of screwing everything up. There was still that chance that he himself would hurt her. Different possible scenarios played through his mind as he closed his eyes.

He could hear her heart beating fast in her chest. He heard her walk towards him. He was just about to open his mouth to assure her that he was perfectly fine sleeping in the couch and that she shouldn't worry about him when he felt her lips against his. He opened his eyes and stared straight into her brown ones. "You made it the best..." she said. Somehow the words made him happy but at the same time embarrassed him. "Uh... you're welcome, I guess," he said, flustered at her nearness. He felt the pull, that desire to take her into his arms again.

Callie gave him a smile, and said softly, "You are not going to hurt me, in anyway" She spoke with confidence, and such convinction, she knew it to be true. "We'll get no where, if you holding back because you think something will happen. But you won't hurt me. I know it. And I trust you" She sat along side of him, not sure what she was doing, but it felt...right.

She bit her lip, before saying "Sometimes, we witches have visions...its random, I've only had a couple throughout my life....But I can honestly say, you won't hurt me" She wanted to reassure him, but mostly she wanted...to be with him, and not apart. It would seem almost torture, to be so close, but not with him, after this day.

It wasn't something that she could truly describe, and she had just decided to go with what she felt, what she wanted. It seemed...amazing to just go with the flow. @Kyrisse

"Visions? Caius repeated. He can't say that he had been with a witch before, much less hear about visions. But he had encountered a seer before. Her visions were creepily accurate. Maybe it was the same thing.

And he appreciated the fact that she saw him not hurting her. Wait...did he misunderstood what she was saying?

"Do you mean to say that you've seen me in a vision before?" he asked as he let her pull him up and lead him towards the bed.

Callie gave an almost sly smile before saying "about three seconds after you turned around in that coffee shop. It wasn't really anything...a quick flash, a sense of knowing...it was a little overwhelming the whole thing...but"" she gave a shrug, pausing a moment.

She smiled sweetly, sitting on the bed, "It's hard to explain...it's not an exact science...but I know you won't hurt me" she really could explain things better then that. Visions weren't easy...the couple she had had were often confusing...and she didn't want to screw up.

Not in this, at least. "if I can trust you, believe in you, why can't you trust yourself? she asked softly, not looking away from him, "or at least believe me when I say that you won't hurt me?"@Kyrisse

Caius nodded. If she was willing to trust him then it made sense to trust himself as well. He had, after all, already pledged his life to protect hers. Who else would best fit to make sure she was safe? He reached out and gathered her into his arms. He was hers. Only hers. His life, his heart, his very soul belonged only to her.

He had no idea what she felt about him. Human affection was a lot different than wolves'. They wavered and changed over time. But no matter what sort of attachment Callie has to him, he knew that he will forever be loyal to her.

"I will," he assured. "I'll make sure that nothing and no one will ever harm you."

Pleased, Callie smiled, relaxing in his arms. Thre was a lot to be said for being safetly nestled in someones grasp, and she shifted just slightly, so she could look at him. "I know" She kissed him softly, wondering just how she had got here. This morning, it had been...pretty bad, and now she had a good idea of what was going on...now...well, not she felt like she could conqure the world.

"It just...feels right"

She shifted to lay her head on his chest, closing her eyes, well content. There was something oddly soothing about having someone there. She was more then sure that tomorrow would be just as interesting as this day had been. Her thoughts drifted slightly, onto what would need to be done the next few days. It didn't seem daunting, not anymore, and she turned her thoughts to move pleasant ones. Which was easy, with Caius there.

Maybe there was no resisting someone, when they imprinted, Maybe it worked both ways, a drew...or maybe it just was...something meant. Perhaps this would make her stronger...but all she knew was that she felt...happy. Something that she hadn't felt for a while. "Yeah. Just right"@Kyrisse

Caius held Callie close to him, her cheek pressed against his chest. He can feel her content and he was glad his presence could give that to her. He would give her everything she ever wanted, he would protect her, he would make sure she was taken care in every way. The only thing he can ever hope for in return was a smile. He didn't even need that assurance that she'd stay with him. A smile meant for him. Knowing she was happy. That was all he will ever want.

Of course, if she fell in love with him, that would be beyond wonderful. But humans didn't imprint the way wolves do.

He moved his arm up and down her back slowly until he felt her drift off to sleep. Once her breathing was even, he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep himself.

Callie had the best night sleep in months. She hadn't slept well since her parents died, but safetly nestled in Caius's arms...it was definetely something that helped her feel safe and cared for, and that equaled a deep sleep. Always an early rising, Callie woke at the first rays of sunshine, and for the first time in a long time, she felt rested. Rested and happy. There was something to be said for sleeping with someone.

It just made everything better.

For a moment, she lay where she was, quickly making a list in her head of everything that needed to be done today. Replenishing her herb stock was top of the list. She couldn't do anything without it. Her potions all required it, and some of her spells required herbs as well. That was something she couldn't go without.

She let those thoughts go a moment, turning to look at Caius, something similar to dread in her heart. What if it had all been a dream, a delusion? She was almost too scared to look to him, in case he wasn't there. @Kyrisse

Caius slept well. He never really had any problems sleeping before but being with the person meant for him made so much difference. He was content and happy, having her in his arms.

The moment Callie turned towards Caius, he opened his eyes. "Good morning," he greeted. And as if he read her thoughts, he grinned. "No, I'm not a figment of your imagination. I'm real and I'm here." He closed his eyes again but pulled her closer to him. "What are you doing up so early anyway?" he mumbled, his voice still sleepy.

Callie gave a soft laugh, "Ah, but a figment of my imagination would say that, wouldn't they?" She smiled, and there wasn't really anything that could convince her to get up right them, warm and happy. It was quite endearing, the sleepiness in his voice, and he was quite a lure in himself. She nestled close, even as he pulled her to him.

"I always wake early" She said, "When the sun is up, I'm up. Besides I can think of a few reasons why being up early is a good thing" she said, with amusement and shifting just slightly again, she kissed him for a moment, before pulling away, "Well, that and herbs are best to pick in the morning"

Still, there was a lot more of a lure here, then to going out an picking herbs...a little time couldn't hurt, right?

Caius cracked open an eye and peered at Callie. "This early just to pick herbs?" He returned her kiss and when she pulled away, a playful grin was on his lips. He leaned forward and began trailing kisses on her jaw and then down her neck, positioning his body so that he was pressed against her and partially on top of her. "I can think of one reason why I'd be up this early," he murmured against her neck.

Just as quickly he started enticing her with kisses, he stopped. "Of course, I'd understand if you'd prefer picking herbs," he said with a teasing smile, confident that his charms was working on her. He looked at her hungrily for a few seconds before he leaned in and began kissing her neck again. "Just... tell me what you want me to do and I'll do it..."
