Appearance:
Standing at just four foot ten, Eirwen's entire appearance could be described as 'Cute'. Standing shorter than most other people her age, she has short cut white hair and typically dresses in blues and whites and mostly fashionable clothing. She has bright blue eyes, and an overall petite and delicate looking frame.

Personality:
In a few short words? Upon first impression lazy, unmotivated, and bit grumpy and generally could honestly care less about you and your problems. A complete introvert who sees very little value in interacting with other people. She generally keeps to herself most of the time, and only interacts minimally with other people. When she does, she tends to take a bit of enjoyment out of messing with them, either from being overly forward or slightly antagonistic.

That said, she's not a bad person. Just generally doesn't care about most other people or their problems and would totally watch and eat popcorn if there was a building on fire, but if push came to shove she'd help out a bit if no one else was around. She just doesn't like doing things if there's someone else able to do it.

Be careful if you do manage to get her to like you though, as oddly, she can get a little clingy and possessive of people she likes.

Tends to be a bit of a glutton, and is a bit on the greedy side. Feeding her is the easiest way to get on her good side. Tends to doze off a lot in class, and can often be found sleeping. Really hates physical activity. How she stays as skinny as she is, no one knows. Doesn't seem to have too many hobbies aside from video games. Likes birds.

History:
Originally, Eirwen and her family are descendants of Native Americans not that many would be able to tell by her pale skin and white hair. Her family has a long history of being rather in tune with the natural forces of the world, and while not many of them are Elementalists themselves, they never shunned the ability. That said, she wasn't free from prejudice herself - no, she grew up mostly alone for an entirely different reason.

Superstition regarding a curse on her family. Whether true or not, in the area she lived in people thought her family and her bloodline was cursed due to some ancient forces, based on some old Native American mythology and beliefs. She didn't let it get to her much, but she spent most of her time growing up alone. Eventually, when it became clear that she was an elementalist she was enrolled at the academy to further hone her abilities.

Name: Alexander Fulger

Age: 15

Element: Lightening

Appearance: Alexander is an average height of 5'9" with a slim but toned build, snow white hair, and piercing blue eyes. His attire often consists of an old hoodie and a pair of jeans. He has glasses, that he should wear, but often refuses too.

Personality: Alexander is a quiet young man who has a tendency to keep to himself. Although he often wants to join in a conversation, he has trouble speaking his mind, a true shame because he is actually quite insightful even at such a young age. He is intelligent and talented, but thinks little of himself and lacks the self confidence to truly put his talents to good use. He has as exceptionally kind heart, and will go out of his way most times to help others.

Hidden deep inside Alexander is strength and determination that he rarely lets others see. He knows, deep down, that he could be something more, but childhood traumas and an inability to truly believe in himself holds him back. The only times his strong, fierce side become evident are when he is defending someone who he truly thinks of as a friend.

When it comes to his studies few are willing to push themselves quite as hard as Alexander. He loves learning to use his abilities and has a tendency to become truly enthralled with his practice, almost to the point where he forgets that there is anyone else around.

History: Alexander's life was never one of ease or happiness. His mother, Lianna Fulger, it is said, was a kind and loving woman, if a bit quiet. She was a talented water elementalist, but rarely used her powers. His father, Edward Fulger, is still considered one of the most powerful and influential fire elementalists to ever live, and perhaps one of the cruelest.

Alexander's mother died giving birth to him, so his only way of knowing her was a locket that his grandfather gave to him. His family has always had money, and so he never wanted for any material thing growing up. He father, however, treated the boy as if he was a disappointment, and openly blamed him for the death of Lianna. He grew up being pushed to his limits by his father who only cared about having a worthy heir to the Fulger dynasty. His father payed for private tutors and attempted to raise Alexander to be just like him, however, the boys quiet and subdued nature enraged the man and caused him to lash out both mentally and physically at his son.

The only bright point in Alexander's life was his grandfather, who he was allowed to see on rare occasions. His grandfather was a saint of a man, and would shower Alexander with love and praise, and tell him how truly proud Lianna would have been of him. Sadly, when Alexander was only 10, his grandfather passed away. He did however, leave Alexander his "lucky hoodie" and his great grandfathers walking stick, to items that Alexander can rarely be found without.

Even though the loss of his grandfather nearly crushed him, Alexander still pushed himself and showed real promise, but an inability to truly believe in himself always stopped him from achieving his true potential. Three years ago, Edward remarried and his wife gave birth to another baby boy. His father, believing that Alexander was a lost cause, sent him away to the academy where he could, "Either learn to become a real man or never burden the Fulger doorstep again." Though perhaps a little scared, and rather alone, Alexander can feel a growing spark inside himself, a drive that will, perhaps, push him to become something greater then his father ever was, and if he's lucky, make the spirits of his mother and grandfather proud.

I saw your interest check. Decided to come look at the concept to get a general idea. I do have some interest, but a little gambit of questions to ask just to get a better feel for things on my end. :)

1. What are the rules (outside of the unsaid ones) for this RP? Like, how often you have to post and such things?

2. Has anyone else tried to make a darkness-element OC? And is that option open for an OC, or are special conditions required?

3. How much wood can a wood chuck chuck...eh, can a student have a Wood Element, and if so what would it be like?

4. Anything on the side someone looking at this place with some interest should know?

5. Why are the waifus a lie? Why must you taunt us all so? lol. T__T

1. I have no rules beyond no ping-ponging. Give others a chance to get a word in. Other than that I have no 'rules' but I do force edits if content isn't to my vision of how the RP operates.
This is a rare occurrence.

2. None thus far have made a darkness student. Special conditions are minimal. Darkness is generally seen as a blight and thus most will treat your character like a plague. Except roleplayers whom seem to flock to the weird or lonely.

3. @kalleth could better answer your wood question.

4. Existence is pain and the past is littered with the bodies of the strong and weak alike. Corruption of the mind and body marks the end in all things.

Though it is a wonder that the school would even let in a darkness student at all. I mean, wouldn't they be attacked on the spot if they showed their magic or something like that at all? Or would be rejected from coming to the school in the first place since no one should be teaching them darkness magic?

Personality:
Tyler is a cool and collected person who loves spending time with other people. He walks into a room ready to charm the socks off of who ever he can. Underneath that act Tyler lies practically compulsively, he's extremely irresponsible, unreliable, and to top it of has an actual disregard for his safety as well as the safety of others. Tyler is the kind of person who breaks the rules when he sees fit with little to no care for the consequences. He just tries to be smart and careful enough to get away with it. Most people don't see through his facade until its too late and they are in his way. This all being said, he tries to be nice to people if there's no reason for him not to be. He doesn't like to make enemies unless he has to, after all he loves being liked. When confronted about his underlying nature he is very offended and vehemently opposes what ever the other person is saying, due to the fact he feels he is just a normal kid.

Backstory:
Tyler grew up in a very chaotic and confusing world, his father was a diplomat and that line of work often dictated a very nomadic life style. His mother was ever the achiever, her line of work was charity management and improvement, a specialist who could turn around a failing or under performing charity in just months. This left his parents little time to be involved in Tyler's life or his sister's. This was the way he lived for many years, an unstable life style that did nothing to help ease his feeling of disconnection towards others. It wasn't that Tyler couldn't make friends, he just knew that his care and interest in their lives was superficial. This was generally not problematic for him, relationships with friends and family were just all about acting the way people wanted him too, it wasn't rocket science.

In Tyler's later elementary school years his powers manifested themselves, after he took the habit of freezing his nanny's drinks after convincing her to let him 'have a sip.' His father and mother had many a late night conversation and after consulting a distant earth elementalist relative they decided it best to have their son sent to the Elemental Academy.

Equipment:
A notebook, he likes to write down what he knows about people to help him remember. This is a bit of a weakness if one were looking to slander his character.
