i'm not a hundred percent afraid of it or anything, I just hate going outside after dark, when it is pitch black outside, especially if I am alone.

I spent many years of my life, at least 16 in the Infantry. We often patrolled in the woods during hours of darkness. I spent so much time in the woods, both day and night that I became extremely comfortable in that environment. I do not fear the woods at night. That is home to me.

I accidentally fed an abandoned kitten a while back, not TOO long ago though. I was just tossing old food out into the woods near my house and she suddenly darted out and took it. Then, she kept coming back.

Long story short, she is now the lazy aloof brat cat my aunt and uncle has. lol

I don't fear dark Woods either, used to play Wargames at night when I was younger.
Best time to play Wargames is during a lightning storm, I killed my teammates, several trees, and a couple of stumps, before dying lol.

Yea, I played wargames at night when I was younger too. We used M16s and M60 machine guns.

Something about those double blades and her fast movements. lol
I rarely lost playing as her.

We used AK 47, M16, 357 magnum, several 45s, and a couple of sawed off BB guns.

All seriousness, though, we only had Nerf guns to play with. Tons of them, even, but never any airsoft/gelsoft or BB guns. Been thinking of getting one--a G36C in particular--now that I'm in my adulthood, but G36Cs are popular airsoft guns and cost an arm and a leg depending on the manufacturer.

I got a couple of airsoft pistols, i like em.
Then i got me some cheap paintball pistols at Wal-Mart, which also shoots marbles, just in case a threatening pit bull decides to charge...

I prefer not to sleep in the dark. I need a small light, but will pull the covers over my head.
I blame my overactive mind and having witnessed weird stuff for one. And I am normally as skeptical as they come.
