Name: Morgan Rain Appearance: data.whicdn.com/images/168716887/larg… Bio: Morgan was born a year after her brother. Throughout her childhood, the standards held for her were nowhere near as high as they were for Asher. As a result, she always acted as a source of comfort for him whenever he became overwhelmed by the endless study sessions set up by his parents or when he returned home exhausted by the colossal amount of errands given to him to run around town. She always admired him for rising to the challenges presented to him by the townsfolk. However, the dawn of her sibling’s 13th birthday brought her peaceful life to a grinding halt. Their father was a few gold pieces short of meeting the mark for the Royal Guard’s fee due to a sudden increase in the amount, so the soldiers raised him hell for it by quite literally putting their homestead to the torch. Having been in her room on the second floor of the house, this trial by fire had completely separated Morgan from the rest of her family. The roaring of the fire muffled her cries for help. Her only way out from a fiery death being a leap of faith from the window in her room, she was about to make way and jump for it. However, before this could happen, a pitch-black portal opened up before her. A hooded individual stepped out from the portal, and everything around her seeming to progressively slow down as this figure entered the space. The entity outstretched their right hand to her, as if beckoning her towards them. “If you wish to live to see your family once more...come with me.” Acknowledging that this was indeed a life or death decision, Morgan decided to take a chance on this stranger and took their hand. Once she entered with them into the Corridor, the individual cast Sleep on her. Perhaps due to the stressful situation she had just narrowly avoided, there was almost no resistance from her as she faded into a deep sleep, now being carried to their destination by the cloaked figure. She awoke in what appeared to be a room within an inn. Upon exiting the room, she was greeted by the very same hooded figure that had saved her earlier. Sitting parallel to him in a nearby booth, they removed their hood, unveiling piercing golden amber eyes, long white hair braided and tied off into a ponytail, and a cocky grin. Introducing himself as the infamous Jack the Ripper, he explained that he was the commander of a specialized team known as the Merciless Shepherds. In exchange for saving her life, he asked that she simply join his motley crew and work alongside them for the time being. Considering the circumstances, Morgan accepted, hoping this new path in her life would lead her back to family. During this period of time, a job she had undertaken led her to unlocking a hidden potential within her to wield the otherworldly weapon known as the keyblade. Shortly after this, Jack informed her of a client that stated he knew of Asher’s whereabouts, and that in exchange for that intel, all she had to do was meet up with them and complete a job for them. She immediately set out to do so. However, little did she know, more than just a reunion awaited her within this chance meeting... Age: 19 Skills: Much like her brother, Morgan also has received proper training from her alleged guide in all things rogue-like. She has also taken a liking to Warp and Haste magics, making proper use of them throughout her missions and as well as taking the measure of applying Warp to her throwing knives. However, considering Jack the Ripper’s arsenal has more options at her disposal, she has not only invested much of her time in learning Blizzard, Fire, and Slow magic, but has also taken up sharpshooter training in the form of sniper rifles and hand crossbows. Through this, she has unlocked the ability to transform her keyblade into either long-ranged weapon of her choosing. Weapon:
Personality: Morgan has two sides about her. There’s the caring sister that will do anything for her brother or those that he truly cherishes and can have all sorts of fun around comrades. Then, there’s the business side. The side in which all of the warmth and kindness vanishes to give way to a cold, calculating persona that will not cease until either her target is eliminated and/or her mission objective is met in its entirety. Any smile donned within this mode is one of pure, merciless thrill of the hunt.
World Sheet Name: Medieval London Summary of History: A world where creatures and individuals believed to be only of myth are given life. As a result of this, when the Heartless first invaded, no one really payed them any mind. Of course, that all changed once their numbers grew, devouring the hearts of the townsfolk and Royal Guard alike. Upon the arrival of the moogles, the Royal Guard commissioned weapons that could keep this new scourge at bay. While the Vigilant Shepherds took a similar approach, they also upgraded themselves by dabbling in the ways of magic. Important Nations (Great Powers, etc.): The Royal Guard is the main line of authority in this world, acting as a protective wall for the royal family, and taking upon themselves to keep the townsfolk in check in pursuit of their own twisted justice. The underground organization known as the Vigilant Shepherds arose to aid the people of London. Led by this world’s Bloody Mary, this band of rogues does everything they can to protect the common folk and take any stab they can at the Royal Guard in the process. Overall Technology Level: Relatively low, with the exception of magic and items that can properly be enchanted. Map: N/A
Bio: Born to an ageless race of beings whom coexisted in secret with humanity, Yevon is rather arrogant in what he believes to be his legacy. For several hundred generations, he was brought up believing that he was heir to a line of legendary defenders. The so-called savior being called Ryusoken. The Ryusokens have all been great heroes, each stalwart and ideal, exactly what was needed at the time. Which brings into question what Yevon's birth meant. He born much like the others, some inexplicable event unbound by nature. His birth in particular came from the death of another. The old Ryusoken had burst into flames and from his ashes came cooing and laughter.
Yevon was taught the knighthood duties of all Ryusoken. He excelled nicely for three centuries and eventually, like all his predecessors ventured from the Hidden Enclave into the human world in search of his Heroic Duty. It didn't take long, impatient as he was, he jumped at the first clue to his destined journey. A Moogle, much to his annoyance appeared. The creature, smelling of magic and neutrality, spelled out his next steps. With little other choice, he ventured from his home world and sought out his destiny.
Skills: Being born a Ryusoken has gifted him many advantages. His physiology is superhuman, being especially resistant to fire and vulnerable to the cold. In some ways he's more akin to mythical dragon than his human appearance. For whatever reason he has difficulty using the soft magical abilities but his Fire magic is extraordinary. He's a naturally gifted swordsmen and being called prodigious even for the Ryusoken lineage.
Personality: Ill-tempered and brash, Yevon isn't the most approachable young man. He's cocky despite his lack of accolades, merciless to his opponents, friend or not, and in a subtle way has a mischievous sense of humor. His solemn upbringing, devoid of friends and family led to him believing strength is essential. If nothing else though, he has a sincere heart; pure in its resolve to save Earth. He is valorous, opting to save the innocent over indulging in selfish desires. Despite this courageous heart, he doesn't restrict himself with honor and is rather proud of his combat abilities, enjoying a good fight here and there. It's somewhat sad but he's decided to never turn down a fight when challenged.
Keyblade: Caliburn is an exceptional Keyblade in the sense that its design is regal, practical, and some what archaic. The hilt is a deep blue and its typical Keyblade crossguard is in the shape of crescent moon with blue zig-zag engravings on it. The long key-shaped blade is crystal-clear with three squared teeth and a double edged point. The language of the Ryuman are etched on its blade. "Protect the World"
Name: Avaloss Summary of History: A world inhabited by two similar races. Humans and Ryumans, while Ryumans are near ageless they have a hard time procreating. Children are very rare and all seem to worship The Ryusoken as their own. However, where once it was seen as an honor and blessed act to shower the Ryusoken with love, the sudden and horrid birth of the latest has turned it into a burden. Many were reluctant to even train him, many more to rear or praise him. The humans have come to expect the savior-esque Ryusokens to appear during times of despair. Which tends to happen every four or five hundred years. In that time twenty different powers have come to inhabit the world. Two of which has deterred global war and maintained balance among them. The Free Alliance, established by Africa and is western comrade America, (consisting of both the North and South) and The Euroasian Empire, Ruled by Mikhail Pendragon or Mikhail the Black or The Black Flame Emperor. The Black Flame, being the proclaimed "Strongest Human" has begun acquiring more territories, tossing Earth into turmoil.
Important Nations (Great Powers, etc.): The Free Alliance, The Euroasian Empire, and The Hidden Enclave (World of Ryumans)
Overall Technology Level: Modern (Lacking the invention of firearms)
Bio: 22 years ago, a Makai Knight named Ogawa and his wife Asuna - a Makai Priest - were investigating a forest where people had been reported to go missing. They suspected a Horror to be involved and were fully ready to kill whatever demon they encountered. The last thing they expected to find was a child, not even a year old. The baby boy was alone, having been seemingly abandoned there and with no indication of his identity save for a single name sown into the blanket he was wrapped in: Ezra. After ensuring the child was indeed human and not a Horror in disguise, the two took the child home where their own son Shun was waiting in the care of one of Asuna's fellow priests. The child was adopted into the family and grew up undergoing the same training as Shun, the parents believing it was best for both boys to understand the threat of the Horrors and to both be prepared to fight against them when the time came.
When the boys came of age, it was the elder brother Shun who inherited the Makai Armor from their father. Both underwent the same tests to determine their worthiness of being able to lift the Soul Metal that the Armor and Sword accompanying it were made of, and in the end they chose Shun. Whether it was his biological relation to their father was unknown, little was ever truly known about Soul Metal other than its potency against the forces of Darkness and the Horrors. So Ezra instead took up his mother's role as Makai Priest, learning from her an assortment of charms, alchemical formulas and even dabbling into some dark arts. During Ezra and Shun's first true outing as Makai Priest and Makai Knight respectively, they found themselves against an opponent they'd never seen before. They were small, twitching fox-like creatures that seemed to melt in and out of the ground and were purple and blue in color. They didn't behave like Horrors, but they were still aggressive just the same. Shun's Makai Armor protected him rather well against their dark attacks but Ezra fared a bit worse.
But that was when Ezra's hand flashed a bright light and produced a mysterious blade that he was able to use to cut his opponents down. Neither of the young men knew what this weapon was, and neither did their parents. It was completely new to them. There was one however who did know. Moogles had already come to this world, but few ever stuck around due to the threats from the Horrors and the Makai Realm. But there was at least one who did and had been sharing some of his knowledge with the Makai Priests to better arm them for their struggles. He explained that the weapon was something called a Keyblade, that it was weapon of Light. He did not, however, recognize the description of the foes Ezra and Shun fought. He knew of an enemy known as Heartless, but these blue and purple creatures did not match that description.
But Ezra, now armed with a Keyblade, became much more formidable in the hunt for Horrors. He and Shun rapidly became known to be among the best of the best.
Skills: Before becoming a Makai Priest, Ezra was given the same Makai Knight training as his brother. This gives Ezra the distinction of having a Knight's battle prowess and a Priest's ability to cast certain spells, although Ezra tends to lean a bit more toward the former in part because of his possession of the Keyblade. Ezra even discovered additional powers his Keyblade, it being able to transform into a whip weapon that gives it a significantly longer reach and a considerably sharper edge in its attacks.
Personality: Ezra usually tries to stay as stoic as possible. Growing up, one of the many things hammered into him during training was that however hard they fought, they couldn't always save everyone. Ezra took that to mean he should minimize the attachments he forms with people on the premise that it will make it easier for him make a tough decision later on. Of course, that's a lot harder than it sounds, and more often than not Ezra will grow attached to his allies despite his best efforts to remain detached and stoic.
Name: World of Makai
Summary of History: In this world, humanity faced a dark era where it was nearly wiped out by demonic monsters known as Horrors. Horrors originated from a demon realm known as Makai World, and they preyed upon humanity as a way of making themselves stronger to give birth to more Horrors. A group known as the Makai Priests became the sole hope of preventing humanity's extinction, and the Priests used every spell, equipment, and even dark arts at their disposal to defeat as many Horrors as possible. But even the Makai Priests were only able to combat weaker Horrors, and eventually a new measure had to be taken to combat the more powerful Horrors. After discovering an incredibly rare material known as Soul Metal, Makai Priests used it to create a limited set of powerful Makai Armors that could only be wielded by those strong enough to withstand their power. These warriors were named the Makai Knights, and their power was enough to defeat even the strongest of Horrors. In the present day, the Horrors and the Knights and Priests doing battle with them have become a close guarded secret, with modern day humanity having no knowledge of any of it.
Important Nations (Great Powers, etc.): The Horrors, demonic monsters from a dimension called the Makai World, they prey on human concepts of fear, wrath, or even lust; their blood so cursed that even getting a drop of it on you results in your eventual turn into a Horror. Makai Priests were the first to successfully fight against the Horrors using all manner of spells, devices, and even forbidden dark arts; in the present day they take on a more supportive role, often being partnered with a Knight or with each other to make the best use of their strengths. The Makai Knights were formed after the discovery of Soul Metal and when the Priests found that they alone were not enough to defeat the stronger Horrors; Knights wield the Makai Armor, granting them significant strength and power against the Horrors, but the armor itself is not perfect, and will permanently transform the wearer into a Lost Soul Beast should they wear the armor for longer than the limit allows them.
Overall Technology Level: The same as the present day, but with the addition of varying degrees of magic or even steampunk devices created by the Makai Priests.
"I-I'm not a fighter, but I'll help you. Just... don't be mad if I'm not that useful like my brothers."
Name: Victor Blackheart Age: 22 Gender: Male Race: Human Personality: Victor, unlike the rest of his brothers, is not very outgoing. In fact, he's the shy of the three. He's not much into talking, gets nervous and scrambles words sometimes. He has a lack of confidence in himself, which improves if he's next to his brothers. He's a pacifist and prefers to resolve things without fighting, something that he despises much. He doesn't like to see other people getting hurt and isn't prone to create inimical relationships, but will do if something goes against what he considers moral and ethic. Bio: Before becoming a Blackheart, Victor was once the Death n.º XV. Not much is known about his life before becoming a Death, other than the fact he was born from a musician family back in Spain. It is also unknown whether Victor is his real name or not, since everything from his life past seems to be lost, especially because Victor doesn't have those memories as well.
Victor wasn't actually one of the strongest Deaths. He only held the XV Rank for so long because his power was able to weaken others. Thus, he could actually win a fight for as long as his song kept playing. However, he had a complete lack of confidence in himself and his natural pacifism hindered him on moving forward towards the higher ranks. He was never deployed on a mission unless someone else was to accompany him.
One day, the newcomer Agni joined the ranks. At first, Victor felt fear upon knowing that someone else had joined. However, that soon changed once Agni recognized the wrong path he took in life. He could see that the one holding the XIV rank was not a murderer but someone who shared his regret. When they were deployed together, Victor tried to shyly befriend Agni, which actually worked. He confessed to share the same regret Agni had and that he would do things differently if he had a chance. The two of them became best friends days after, always going on missions together whenever possible.
When the Death Army's invasion happened, Victor heard that Agni lost his memories by a fellow Death. Once that happened, he swore to use the war as a way to give Agni a new life, away from the past he had supposedly lost. On the encounters they had against each other, Victor attacked his allies but never hit his best friend once. He wanted to ensure that Agni would never pursue the past, but his efforts were rendered fruitless. No matter what he did, Victor could never reach his goal as the chances grew thin.
He didn't fell into an encounter against Agni until the time the rebellion had reached the fortress the Deaths held and attacked back. With all of the Deaths falling one by one, Victor ended up being one of the last people Agni fought before getting to Vanidar. He used all of his strength to stop his friend's march, believing that an encounter with Vanidar meant a death wish. However, Victor was defeated and killed by Agni. Before he passed away, he told his best friend how happy he had been and how he wanted to give peace to someone that mattered much to him.
After the war was over, Sidney and Rosangela used their powers to bring Victor back to life, as a gift to Agni, Claire and Ignitio. He was immediately taken as the fourth Blackheart son. Victor cried of joy, having not only been revived but becoming part of Agni's family. He became the Fourth Prince of Lizeria and its Royal Musician, ensuring that all people would find peace and happiness through his music.
Name: Echoing Virtue Type: Instrument Element: Light Preference: Magic Description: A weapon exclusive to Victor Blackheart. A violin capable of creating songs which grants serenity and happiness no matter what moment lies in the air.
Victor isn't a fighter and his combat power is reduced next to zero. However, as a class akin to a Performer, he can provide songs which can buff and debuff enemies at will. He's a great at conceding support, but will need protection in order for his power to work at will.
