Thunderbird brings the lightning and the thunder. He is the strongest of the gods and fights the monsters others cannot or will not. When people are in need he feeds his people from the sea. Thunderbird values his privacy.

[ PHYSIQUE ] Nate is tall, rangy and muscular. He was a former full-contact fighter, avid outdoorsman, and martial arts teacher. He has no spare flesh and moves with a quiet grace. Nate has broad shoulders, a deep chest and long strong limbs, any man or woman that sees him will give him more than a single glance.

[ PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION ] Nathaniel is a kind decent soul and very concerned about doing what is right. He is empathetic and gentle wishing no one undue harm, (and few that might actually do with some harm). He is easily embarrassed for others in social awkward situations and tries to make others feel at ease with gentle humor and kindness.
Nathan is also very humble and modest believing that anyone who had his skills would do the same as he does. Far from believing he is anything special, he thinks he has been honored too much by Thunderbird.
He has a strong sense of responsibility and duty. He understands the negative motivations that can move someone to disaster and is wary of them. He knows that anger, frustration, and shame may lead to because he's been down that path himself.
Nathan is deeply religious by nature, both as a practicing Catholic, a member of the Shaker church, and a sweat lodge. He sees no contradiction in his spiritual life. Nathaniel is naturally artistic and enjoys working with wood and leather. His carving have fetched thousands of dollars however, he puts most into the tribal museum and the money goes to fund the school. His style mixes traditional NW carving with Asian traditions to produce an amalgam all his own. As a work of love, Nathaniel has carved an entirely lifelike and deeply moving crucifix to go up over the village's Shaker church's altar. It is one of a kind.
Nathan has a strong quirky sense of humor and while he is willing to laugh at himself, he rarely laughs at others. He is a naturally happy person who enjoys others' sense of fun. Typically, he has an infectious smile on his face and good humor in his eyes.
Nathan knows that he is at risk of substance abuse both genetically and from his life history, he is wary of alcohol, 'Fine for hoquats but not for us', is his attitude. He dislikes marijuana as he believes it leads to laziness and poor life choices. He despises hard drugs in all forms and has little tolerance for those who sell them.
By nature he is friendly, however he is very embarrassed by his differences right down to his scent. While most people smell like a favorite soap, perfume or cologne, Nate smells like cut cedar, wood smoke, smoked fish, and the salty waters of the harbor. His speech while sincere and well meant is accented and he often mispronounces a word according to standard American English. This makes him reluctant to speak to groups he does not know well. Despite all that Nathan has a charm and charisma based on his quiet confidence he learned growing up.
Nathan's good looks and charisma can lead him astray especially where attractive women are concerned. When it comes to conflict Nathaniel is determined, dedicated, and committed to doing what needs to be done. As a police officer he has learned how to best sooth others and lead people into doing what is needed.
[ LIKES / DISLIKES ] Likes: Nathan likes his family and friends, loves spending time outdoors, practicing martial arts and spending time with his son. His favorite food is seal dipped in hot whale fat, herring eggs mixed with whipped berries, and chocolate. Knowing his low tolerance for alcohol, Nate always drinks coffee instead. He always volunteers to work the 'bone games' (Native American gambling game that can last days) whenever his tribe hosts them.
Dislikes: Speaking to a crowd (he's embarrassed by his 'res' accent), men who bully women and children, and cities. Nathan hates driving in cities. Nathan finds vegan and soy food to be an abomination. He hates heavy drugs and dislikes the effects on his friends and family. He loves dairy but like many Native Americans is lactose intolerant. The love with dairy is not mutual.

Nathaniel is the youngest child of the last of the Whalers. His family clan is the Thunderbird. His oldest brother was nearly eighty years older than Nathan. His father was a whaler that hunted from a dugout canoe that could spend days or weeks at sea.
Nathan grew up on a small reservation on the Washington coast. His family had been whalers for centuries. Nathan's father died when he was very young, (and his father very old) and he had little guidance in his life.
Nathan's mother was an alcoholic and frequently left Nathan on his own. By the time Nathaniel was eleven he was driving his drunken or passed out mother home in his younger uncle's borrowed car. Nathan saw the ugliness that alcohol could bring out in people. He was used to being on his own and while he had many 'aunties' (a common term of courtesy, affection and respect) he was determined to cover up his mother's deficiencies. Nathan often went hungry at night as his mother had sold their food aid, 'commodities' for drug or alcohol money. During the day he was fed by the school both lunch and breakfast even during the school holidays.
The reservation had no broadcast tv, no cable, no internet, and not even a cell tower until Nathaniel was in high school. He grew up playing games outdoors, hunting, fishing, trapping, and exploring the rainforest out his back door. To earn spending money, Nate would help guys fishing the river a dangerous and thankless task but traditional for his people. Books were his constant companion, he always had a kerosene lantern for those nights the wind would blow down the powerlines. The tribe never collected the utilities due even though it was de minimis, less than thirty dollars a month, his mother never paid it. The money she received (and she received significant amounts of 'Indian Money' (as her per capita money she received was typically referred to by tribal members), she never had enough to actually pay any bills.
Nathan grew up big strong and slowly became resentful. Resentful of his life, his perceived lack of opportunity and his abandonment by his mother. He was very athletic and intelligent but lacked direction.
He was man-high by the time he was thirteen, he had a couple of years of varsity wrestling and more than a little boxing under his belt. Nathaniel excelled at those combat sports as well as less structured forms of combat. Nathan had discovered the existential joys of kicking ass.
He liked fighting men bigger and stronger than him at the drop of a hat and if no one else would drop the hat, he would. While he was only thirteen, he was six feet tall and a hundred and seventy pounds. Nathaniel found all the embarrassment, anger, and resentment went out the window when he was scrapping. He mean as a cat on speed and twice as fast. He wound up putting two men into the emergency room in one weekend. None of the men would admit to who they fought as Nathaniel was a kid, and despite his size still looked like one, he didn't even have peach fuzz.
Nathaniel was sent to the State juvenile facility and was almost immediately returned to the tribe. As a juvenile a tribal member could be held by the state. A juvenile that needed to be housed in an adult facility could not be held by the state. His tribe had no where to put him, no services they could offer, and nobody to care for him. The tribal council and the social services hashed it out for most of an afternoon and Larry Jefferson, a member of the council sat quietly for most of it. When he offered to take Nathaniel in as a foster child, the others jumped at the chance before he could come to his senses.
Larry was a Vietnam vet was six inches shorter than Nathaniel's six feet and growing frame and weighed maybe a hundred and fifty pounds. Larry was also expert at Shorin Ryu karate and kobujutsu.
It took less than three days for Nathan to try to assert his dominance over Larry. Larry showed him why a well trained and experienced fighter, would often prevail against a talented amateur. Once it was established that Nathan could not overpower Larry as he had the other men who were willing to fight a thirteen year old boy no matter how big and strong and that bruises and a bruised ego could heal, they settled into something like a normal life.
Larry showed Nathaniel how to calm his spirit, channel his energies and taught him the things a father should. By the time he was sixteen, Nathan had turned his life around. He was fighting still but in organized full-contact tournaments in the men's division. He was head of his class in high school and taught woodcarving twice a week at the school. Nathan also was a father.
At sixteen this was hardly a planned event for either the mother or the father but both were willing to do what was needed to raise their son and they had family to help. By the time Nathaniel was eighteen the tribal police made him a cadet and at twenty one he entered the Federal Police academy and graduated top of his class.
Nathan was a favorite son of his tribe, a valued member of his community and had a reputation as a great guy and someone you could trust. He had his own home and his son Ray split his time between both parents equally. Although, since they lived a stones throw away, (literally) there really wasn't many days that little Ray didn't spend with both parents. They always tried to eat at least one meal as a family and did all holidays together. Nathaniel was being groomed as chief of police and perhaps Chief of the Tribe. He was last of the Thunderbird clan and liked by all. His only difficulty was public speaking, he is painfully aware of his reservation accent and when speaking to unfamiliar people he tends to mumble, unless he's in uniform, then he speaks as loudly as necessary. He is a master of Shorin Ryu Karate and Kobujutsu weapons. He is also an excellent swimmer, outdoorsman, tracker, and woodcarver.
Nathan met the man who would change his life one stormy day in February. The wind was blowing well over sixty miles an hour with gusts up to ninety. He was securing the streets of his little village, watching for trees falling, wires down or other dangers when he saw a boat tip over in the harbor. Somebody had an old fashioned canoe out on the waters. The ocean had come over the bar and was only a few feet below flood level. Nathan did not hesitate longer than it took to radio it in, then he dived into the choppy water.
He swam to the canoe like a seal and after a minute or so found his target more by chance than anything else. Nathan swam to shore and was about to begin resuscitation when to his shock the man spoke. He told Nathan he was now more than a man and more than just a father, he was now a protector against the creatures that lurked in the darkness.
[ POWERS ]
[ RELICS / FAMILIARS ] The day after meeting the drowning man, Nathan found a paddle he had carved to practice Kobujutsu with a native flare had changed. It felt stronger, lighter and quicker in his hands and left a disconcerting trail of electrical arcs when he spun it too fast.
A beaded belt that tells the story of Thunderbird. The belt changes when no one is looking at it and a different part of the thousands of years of history is displayed but no one can say for certain whether they have seen it before or simply forgotten and it always looked like that. What if any powers the belt has is unknown.
[ POWERS ]
Flight: Nathaniel can manifest black, red, and white wings. He can fly with them at speeds that rival an attack helicopter for a half an hour to an hour and it takes a rough toll on the young man as man is not meant to fly even with wings. The quicker he flies the quicker he is fatigued and the more damage he does to his system. It probably won't kill him, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and all that, at least that what Nathan tells himself. When he can no longer fly they fade away and if he is in the air he glides to the ground.
Superhuman agility: Nathan is fast, his reflexes allow him to dodge bullets or parry them with his paddle.
Heightened Vision: Nathaniel has the keen vision of a bird of prey. He can see More colors than humans and his vision can pick out a trout in the water from a several hundred feet in the air. He can see the currents in the air, see in what would be pitch darkness, and see the invisible and supernatural. This is not always a good things. The things that go bump in the night won't win any beauty contests.
[ INVOCATION ]
Father Thunderbird, lord of lightning, protector of the True people, foe to monsters and the dark. Come to me now one wings of thunder. Grant me the strength to do what is need and the resolve to see it through.
Have mercy on your children and protect us as old!
Thunderbird comes on like a bird made of cloud, chaos and lightning and merges with Nate. This always triggers his wings, voluntarily or not. His eyes shine with coiling electricity and two coiling balls of silver-blue lightning sit at the center of the wings. When he flaps his wings, thunder crashes (which can be rather destructive indoors even without the accompanying lightning. Nathan's skin changes as well turning into a red, black, and white stylized native pattern. Nathaniel looks like an anthropomorphized Thunderbird come to life. While he is usually visible he is wreathed in clouds and lightning plays about the edges. His eyes are portals to a place of raw force and power.
Thunderbird can summon Nathaniel's paddle if he wishes. The paddle is designed as a weapon and in his hands it is quite effective.
When he is the Thunderbird, his voice has the authority of an elder god, and can crash like thunder. This will startle anyone. If Thunderbird is angry, it will deafen those close, shatter glass and rattle anything not nailed down. Most freeze in shock at hearing it.
His strength and durability become much stronger. Thunderbird is the strongest of his pantheon. He can guide or produce lightning and calm or whip up a storm in seconds.
Thunderbird can ride the lightning in a split second essentially teleporting himself and can with effort do the same for others. This is usually suboptimal as it causes more than a bit of a shock and greatly drains his power.
Weaknesses: Thunderbird becomes furious at the sight of monsters. Even the mention of his ancient enemies is enough to set off a rather spectacular rage.
If Thunderbird figures he's finished he will return to his perch high in the Olympic Mountains under a glacier. The ice cave is on no maps and near no trails. Nathan has had to walk back twice this way. Fortunately, Nathan is an avid outdoorsman and survive in the wild.
Nathaniel is worn out after invoking Thunderbird and his normally short hair has grown into a shoulder length mass with a topknot in a ponytail. Nathaniel's body takes great strain from the change and he is in pain afterward from head to toe, (not that he would ever admit to it). It is possible Thunderbird could fatally overtax his vessel but he has not done so yet.
[ OTHER INTERESTS/SKILLS ] Nathaniel loves hunting and fishing, boating, trapping, and surfing. He is a deadeye with both firearms and spears and bows. He can throw his paddle with deadly effect. He plays basketball with his friends but keeps his abilities under wraps. He spends much of his free time with his son and it is his greatest joy. Nate still practices martial arts daily and has become a master of the paddle/oar as a weapon.
Growing up without a tv or video games, Nathan is an avid reader and studies Northwest Indian lore obsessively to discover what he can of the enemy. He is also working to get a law degree, in his spare time (ha, ha) so that he may better serve his people. He enjoys carving and art and can be found working on pieces when he can find the time.

[ MYTHOLOGY OF (YOUR GOD) ] One of the greatest smiths of norse and germanic mythology, Wayland was the creator of many famous weapons and armour, such as the sword Mimung. While probably not technically a god, he was also not human, or at least not fully, being known as both a son of the giant Wade and a lord of the elves, and many consider him to be the closest equivalent to a god of the forge in norse/germanic mythology.

[ PHYSIQUE ] Leo is a very muscular man, the result of many years at a forge, and is generally the tallest person in the room. His skin is tan, and he has dark brown hair and grey eyes. His hands and lower arms are covered in old burns, many of them small, but many others large enough to be easily noticable for anyone who knows what to look for.

[ PERSONALITY ]
[ PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION ] Leo is a very timid, soft-spoken young man, if he even speaks at all. It is actually quite rare for him to do so honestly, usually responding to any attempts to strike up a conversation by freezing up and staring at the person, locked in a panicky internal debate over how he should respond. It's rare for him to escape this state before people either decide he's too weird and leave, or think he's glaring at them, get intimidated, and then leave. If he does feel comfortable enough to manage to talk, it will usually only be a few words at a time.
On top of his social ineptitude, he is also easily frightened, often getting to the point of freezing up completely, and this has led to an absolutely awful view of himself, with his sense of self worth being almost non-existent.
Sometimes it seems like the only time he can calm down a little, and maybe even show a bit of pride in himself, is when he's making something in his workshop. Usually, this comes in the form of metalworking, an area he was already considered particularly talented in even before becoming the communicator of Weyland. He views this as his only constructive skill, and therefore is the only time he can allow himself to feel slightly more than useless.

[ BIO ] Leonard Karsten has always been something of a weak-willed person. Throughout his childhood, he was always the guy who would try to laugh along at jokes made at his expense, even if they actually hurt deep down. As long as it kept it from becoming some kind of confrontation, he was happy to pretend he was fine. It was a personality trait he'd gotten from his father, the other mild mannered member of their family, who had always found it easier to let that kind of thing go. His mother and his younger sister Emilia, on the other hand, had far more intense personalities, and therefore often had to be talked out of 'marching over and teaching those little shits a lesson.' Still, despite their differing personalities, the family tended to get along pretty well, with one of Leo's main ways of coping with the issues he had being to join his mother in her blacksmithing hobby, something which stemmed naturally from her metalworker career.
However, everything changed one day when... well, he wasn't even really sure what happened... When he was sixteen and his sister was fourteen, they'd been walking home from school one day when some... thing appeared in the middle of their path. At the time, he could hardly describe it, except to say that it was some kind of monster. Something that shouldn't exist in this world. He couldn't react. Couldn't move. Could barely even think. As the monster approached him, seeming to pierce straight into his soul as it stared into his eyes, it was all he could do to realise how isolated their path was right now, and no one else would be coming to save them.
However, nobody else needed to, as Emilia decided to take on that role herself. After all, she knew how bad Leo was with conflict, how scared he could get in situations like this, so naturally it was her job to step in and protect him when it happened, right?
The 'fight' went about as well as you'd expect, and although the monster ended up leaving the area for some unknown reason before it could strike a finishing blow on either sibling, the end result was still terrible, the boisterous, excitable, athletic girl being confined to a wheelchair for the rest of her life. Despite this, she still somehow managed to remain optimistic. Leo, on the other hand, was absolutely destroyed by the situation. By the guilt. Why did he let Emilia fight that thing on her own? He was her big brother! He was meant to protect her! But no, instead she'd been the one to protect him, while he'd stood there frozen like a coward! The fact that his family acted so goddamn understanding only made it worse. Why wouldn't they blame him? He knew they must have deep down, why couldn't they just say it! Yell at him, insult him, berate him for his weakness! He deserved it! He should be punished for it, and yet everyone was just letting it go!
The guilt and shame he felt only caused him to withdraw even further into his shell than before, finding it more difficult to talk to people than ever. He slowly managed to get a little better with his parents again, although Emilia remained a challenge, even so much as looking at her bringing all his self-loathing right back to the surface. Other people too proved too much speak to, anything he might want to say catching in his throat before he could go through with it, until eventually he just decided to stop trying at all. In the end, he coped the same way he always did, occupying all his time with either household chores or working at his mums forge, which had eventually just become his forge at some point, and giving whatever he made there to his mum to sell to help support them.
And this would have continued, no doubt, if not for the voice that appeared in his head one day, offering him one last chance to become a better person.
[ REASON FOR CHOICE ] There are two main reasons Wayland considered someone like Leo to be a worthy communicator. The first is clear, as the boy loves blacksmithing and being creative just as much as he does. The second is a little harder to see. Though one may not be able to tell at first, Wayland actually holds a deep, burning regret for the actions he took in Ninud's castle, particularly those taken during his revenge against the man for his crippling and imprisonment. Although Leo's regrets come not from his actions but his inaction, the old blacksmith still understands the pain and guilt well, and hopes to help the boy overcome his burdens.
[ POWERS ]
[ RELICS / FAMILIARS ] Unlike many deities, Wayland has no relic of his own. However, through his power, Leo can summon any item he has forged to himself. As has been the role of many communicators of Wayland throughout history, it will be his job to forge his own relics, both for himself and his companions, though anything of actual power is currently well beyond him.
[ POWERS ] The Forgemaster Being the communicator of a master blacksmith spirit, Leo has been granted the power to forge items at speeds far surpassing that of normal smiths, and with a much larger range of materials.
He has also developed the ability to inscribe runes on these crafts to grant magical abilities to them, although he will have to put in the time and effort to learn how each rune works, and how they react to each other.
Finally, as mentioned in the relics section, being the communicator of Wayland allows him to summon any item he forges to himself. This summoning works regardless of where the item may be. However, this has the obvious drawback of potentially taking it from anyone he may have given it to, potentially endangering them if they need it at the same time he does.
[ INVOCATION ]
Though Wayland could be invoked for combat and do an adequate job, it isn't exactly his area of expertise. Instead, Wayland is better off being invoked to aid in the creation of a particularly powerful item, even approaching the level of an actual relic.

Fia is a very bright girl that loves nature and, in fact, will wander forests for hours on end with a journal and a charcoal pencil to sketch plants, scenes, and creatures that she comes across. She also likes to be barefoot and feel the earth between her toes, and also enjoys foraging and gardening for food. She believes in treating others how you want to be treated. [ BIO ] Fianna was born in the home of a Games and Parks Officer and a former flower child. Her parents were caring and attentive, giving Fianna as much as they could with the money that they had. They lived outside of Monhegan on a little homestead with chickens, goats, and a milk cow. Sometimes her father would bring in orphaned wildlife for Fianna to help raise and release back into nature.
Fia was homeschooled up until junior high and had a hard time fitting in. She was often bullied at school, being labeled weird for enjoying plants and animals. Fianna tried to be peaceful and nice, but after so long, she snapped. One day, a boy that had been bothering her, kicked her legs out from underneath her and caused her to fall down cement stairs. Fia ended up with scrapes covering her knees, fractured forearms, and a black eye. After she was healed, the boy tried to bother her again and she ended up punching him square in the nose, breaking it clean.
After high school, she decided to follow in her parents' footsteps (somewhat) and wanted to become a wildlife biologist.
[ REASON FOR CHOICE ] Fianna got a job with a different forest park than the one she grew up living in. This park had a hard time keeping poachers out during the non-hunting seasons. She was responding to a report of shooting down by an off-stream that many of the deer bedded in during the fawning season. When she went to check things out, Fianna caught a local politician and his friends poaching many of the deer in a clearing. While Fianna waited for backup, the politician found her observing them and decided to play 'The Most Dangerous Game'. They had chased her for miles after they had stripped her bare and forced her to run off a cliff.
While she laid bloodied and broken on the forest floor, a woman in a white aura came to her aid. I really love the character and I think she'll fit in really nicely! I think I just want to see a little more elaboration in some of the points.
Your personality could use a little more elaboration. It's a bit short as of right now. Especially with the part about being "ditzy" and stuff. I would love to just see a little bit more about how Fia is.
Backstory could also use a little more. I think the backstory is very important and I'd like to see some more information about her life, especially about the entire Communicator situation, which isn't really touched upon.
Powers also could use some more specification, especially the part about controlling plants and water and stuff. That needs to have some bounds as to how her abilities work.
Lastly, there are some coding issues that could be fixed, if you could just read through and make those changes that would be great.

Asha is raised in a high class family in Massachusetts, Boston in a rich neighbor with her parents and her sister. Throughout her childhood, Asha mother try to make Asha a perfect child aka "Be more like mother" child and for obvious reasons, Asha didn't listen to her mother and become what society called "A trouble child" Although it fun to do some rebel things with her rebel friends, Asha started to feel somewhat jealousy towards her "perfect" sister, Nala, seeing her parents favoring her over Asha, this somewhat explain her rebellious nature, Asha just want to be notice by everyone.
When Asha finish high school, her parents kick her out of the house, feeling like she have no use being in Jaziri name. Feeling anger and betray by her so called "family" Asha decided that she is just going travel, going places and feeling be free from her parents and everyone judgment....But throughout the years, Asha have been getting weird dreams, like flames around her while wearing a fire like kimono.
By the time Asha turn twenty-three, she settle on town called Virginia City, Nevada, where she work as a mechanic and she finally found a place where she belong and nothing can ever change that.....Or so she thought. While enjoying her day off, Asha starting to hear a voice inside her head, saying that "I'm Amaterasu and you, Asha Jaziri, have destiny far more greater then everything else. Would you like to embrace it and join a journey"....And just like any other sane person, Asha ignore the voice and just relax while enjoying her day off...Asha hear a knock on her door, when she open it, she find a black snake, a sacred mirror and two plane tickets to New Hampshire........Asha pack her bags and head to New Hampshire to face her destiny...Or something to that effect

When summon, Amaterasu wears armor that shines like the sun and her blade is made out of burning stars. Amaterasu use the sun and her blade to burn her enemies with a single light and they turn them into dust.

Known as the Kami of Fertility, Foxes, Prosperity, Rice and Sake. Inari is commonly seen as a Fox creature commonly guarding the many shrines of Shinto Temples all across Japan. A generally popular figure due to the Kami's multiple aspects. Inari Okami is a very flexible deity, it's many aspects allow it to be a part of practically all important sectors of Japanese life. Originally shrined at Inari Mountain, nowadays, as long as you can see Fox Statues in the many, many shinto shrines and Temples across Japan, you are in the presence of a temple/shrine dedicated for Inari Okami.
Commonly depicted as a female, there are also several depictions of the Kami as a man.

A lithe woman. Akane generally does light workouts to keep her body in shape. She is thin, with not a lot of muscle mass all throughout her body, still, she can do most chores around the house should it be necessary. Generally regarded a 'beautiful' in terms of Japanese beauty standards. Akane has the perfect combination of thinness and curviness that makes her the target of quite a lot of love letters during her highschool days.
She has long black hair, easily flowing down her shoulders, the most noticeable part of it all though, is the cut of her bangs. Seemingly making a part of her hair edge out, a subtle, yet noticeable stylistic detail she has decidedly chosen.
Perhaps it is because of her Japanese upbringing, but she generally chooses 'conservative' yet clearly rebellious clothes. Conservative in the sense that it covers her body, but rebellious in the subtle details. The length of her skirt, the colours of her clothes, the various accessories she puts in her hair, even the occasional earring that glistens out whenever she flips her hair. A way to simultaneously conform, yet rebel at the same time.

Akane acts prim and proper at all times. An expectation considering her family name and the impact her family has on the trajectory of Japan. Nonetheless, within her circle of friends and family, the woman generally devolves into something much more energetic, not one to conform to borderline aristocratic norms within Japanese high society. Whenever she hangs out with her friends, whether that be enjoying some coffee or eating out, or vacationing with her family, a much more relaxed, carefree Akane comes out.
For the outside person though, seeing such a change is usually a luxury they do not have. Her actions all the time is calculated to be the most polite and least expressive, she is not one to show her more 'wild' side so liberally. For she knows the ramifications of such carelessness can do to her family back home.

Since the day of her birth, Akane has never felt poverty. Her full name, Akane Mitsui, is already a signal to everyone that she is effectively the daughter of Japan's modern Aristocracy. The Mitsui Family.
Historically speaking, the Mitsuis are titans of industry, a family that owns and runs the Mitsui Zaibatsu, one of the largest corporate groups in Japan. Their business includes Automobile Manufacturing, Electronics, Industrial Chemicals and Financial Services. One of the Big 'Four' including Sumitomo, Yasuda, and Mitsubishi. These four massive Conglomerates control all major aspects of Japanese industry, up until Japan's defeat in the hands of the allied forces.
With Japan's defeat, the powerful families were forced to retire their holdings and were left as private, if admittedly incredibly rich citizens of the postwar Japanese state. And the Mitsuis were no exception. Akane grew up in Azabu. Possibly the richest neighborhood in all of Tokyo, her entire childhood life were as ideal as it can be, and, unlike the stereotype of rich kids. She doesn't grow up to be a spoiled brat, perhaps it is because of her family's history of and how much effort it still took for them to maintain their wealth, and it is perhaps because she sees just how hard working her own two parents are. But she studied hard in school, garnering good grades and with the help of private tutors, fully mastering English during her grade school days. Not a common achievement for the typical Japanese student.
It was then that her first lesson in life was taught, during her first years in Middle School, when hormones are raging throughout her body and she struggles to deal with the ever increasing complexity of life. That her parents gave her talks that would change her life. Her parents taught her to not take everything too seriously, life is an ever-flowing river, and if the streams change, one should adapt oneself to it. Letting things go sometimes to rest is an important aspect, and one that her mother has to constantly remind her father whenever he comes back to work. Akane took the lesson to heart, and her first years in Middle School were the years when she made some of her first lifelong friends.
The second lesson she was taught was when she just graduated High school. She applied to numerous prestigious Universities in Japan, the University of Tokyo was an obvious one, Kyushu University was another, Kyoto U, Keio, and Waseda were all applied to. And yet, bizarrely enough, she was rejected from all of them. Only her craziest and most out there option, her application to William & Mary, a college even her parents didn't know existed, was accepted. Seeing no other option, she packed her bags and headed for America to get her degree in Commerce. It was then that Akane learned that the world has more opportunities than she could've realized. Studying at William and Mary and Networking with the business communities there exposed her to cultures that she didn't know in depth, she met people originating from Indonesia, Iran, Canada, Brazil, China, even that weird Guy from Poland. The meeting of various cultures during her time there imprinted something important to her, a perspective she couldn't have gotten from studying in even Elite Japanese Universities.
In a sense, a real eye for business, a thorough comprehension of various cultures around the world, and an understanding of how good businesses should be run. In short, she has the makings of a good businesswoman should she start her own company.
She also learned to downsize her order of food whenever she visits an American Restaurant, not as well known, but still important if she wants to keep her weight in check.
She returned back to Japan with her Bachelors Degree on Commerce, much to the elation of her parents. And it was then that, during her many nights sleeping. That she was visited by a Fox like apparition. It has a female voice, and it offers Akane a further sharpening of her skills, promising to give 'All knowledge in the world of commerce to you', and the only price? Become her Communicator.
She asks if being a Communicator is akin to signing a contract with the devil, a twisted agreement in which she is the one left holding the short end of the stick, the apparition said no, she asked if being a Communictor means that she has to forego her old life completely, the Fox Spirit also said no, but there will be some changes. Most notably in her travels.
She accepted, and the Fox Spirit smiled, 'Meet me at the top of Inari Shrine, take the Shinkansen the next thing tomorrow.' She left her parents later in the morning, telling them that she has 'some stuff to do in Kyoto, it concerns my College Friends.' And surprisingly enough her parents agreed.
She went to the Fushimi Inari Shrine, and after offering her money, and doing the typical Shinto Rituals associated with it. She sees a Woman, clearly Japanese, but with unusual White Hair and Red Stripes all over her body. The woman smiled at her, and passed through her body. Akane felt a surge of power, feeling her strength multiply many fold. She returned back to her Family's house after that. Not wanting to see what kind of other supernatural powers might take an interest in her.
3 months have passed, and the Fox Spirit has instructed her to go to New Hampshire, to climb a mountain and meet her there. She then declared to her parents that she wanted to spend a year to 'discover myself', with the added caveat that she will go to America during that period. Considering that she's a Mitsui, and that Mitsuis aren't really known to be tight on cash. Her parents accepted.
Akane is probably going to be tied down to her well paid job/ business in the future anyway, her parents reasoned. What's the harm in letting her discover the wide world when she is young?
[ Reason of Choice ] It may not look like it. But her education and her networking, as well as her Familial Status in Japan makes her a Prime Candidate for a person that can generate a lot of money and wealth. Her morals and upstanding personality also intrigued Inari, a well connected woman that can generate a lot of prosperity (read: money) while also not being an asshole (really important considering Japan's history) is a Slam Dunk for all Inari is concerned.

[ RELICS / FAMILIARS ] A Jade Magatama: An ancient Japanese Jewel made out of Jade. Akane got it after she slept through her first night of becoming a Communicator. The jewel, upon activation, is able to form a protective bubble around Akane, a golden coloured bulb that is impervious to any form of attack.
A Naginata: Said to have been from one of Inari's previous Communicators. A package from an unknown sender gave the Naginata to her family's house. Initially confused but nonetheless keeping it well stored, Akane is able to summon the Naginata at will, appearing as if it was teleported to her hand. She is able to wield it as if she has been training with the weapon for years.
A Fox: A White Furred Fox that always accompanies her whenever she goes, seemingly able to accompany her throughout all places, when she took the Shinkansen back to Tokyo, the White Fox was there, when she's about to board the plane, the Fox was staring from the Terminal. And when she landed in America, the Fox was there to greet her at the Taxi Stand. The Fox will defend Akane if she is in danger, it is unknown as to how powerful this Fox is.
[ POWERS ] Long Claws: She is still trying to master it, but Akane can lengthen her nails to such a point that it becomes claws. When the nails are lengthened. It is hardened to be near indestructible and she is able to slice through almost anything she wishes.
Fox Like biology: If her human senses aren't enough. Akane can also make 2 parts of her senses to be as sensitive as Foxes, whether it be her eyesight, her hearing, her sense of smell, touch or taste. It can, theoretically speaking. Be expanded to all the 5 senses, but Akane isn't able to fully 'Foxify' herself so to say.
Fox Fire: A Blue Fire Orb that Akane can summon, it generally floats right besides her, she can throw it and cause a huge explosion, or it can be simply used as Illumination. A generally versatile spell that can be used for all circumstances.
[ INVOCATION ] Summoning Inari is a bit complicated than most. Akane has to throw a coin to the ground, and clap twice before praying. Should it be successful though...
Her signature Fox Ears doesn't show up, Akane's form is not powerful enough yet to do that. But the Fox Mask and the Miko outfit is more than enough of an indication that Inari is here.
[ OTHER INTERESTS/SKILLS ] American Food: Perhaps it's because of her time spent in America, but Akane has grown to love all types of American Food. Steak and Eggs, Eggs Benedict, Alder Plank Salmon, a Good Burger, Fish and Chicken Tacos. She loves them all, in many ways seeing her love of both American and Japanese food is a contradiction, but it doesn't bother her in the slightest.
Research into Business Subjects: Of course, being an Academically trained student in a Business Degree. She has to do her fair share of research. Whether it concerns Accounting, Business Leadership, or just listening into a 2 hour youtube video of various Businessmen talking strategy. She likes finding new ways and opportunities to make money.
Philanthropism and Political Advocacy: She's Japanese, she's a Mitsui, she's incredibly well educated, and she knows how her family's complicit in furthering the suffering of various peoples in Asia during Japan's conquest. It isn't surprising that she also loves discussing Politics and has an interest in Philanthropy as well. An ardent supporter of Japan apologizing for it's warcrimes and dismantling the Yasukuni Shrine to ensure that the apology isn't hollow. She's not a big fan of any Right Wing Japanese groups in general.

Odin, the Alfather is the Chief god of the Aesir in Norse Mythology. Famously known for having sacrificed his Eye for a drink of Mirmir's Well(rumored to have been the Well of Ur), he is the god of wisdom, healing, death, royalty, the gallows, knowledge, war, battle, victory, sorcery, poetry, frenzy, and the runic alphabet. He is known as a Trickster War God, and the father of several of the Aesir including Thor and Baldr.

[ BIO ] Mazorn's birth was one of great conflict. His mother unfortunately perished in the birthing, and his father, a career military man, traveled often, so he had to stay with his grandparents. Fortunately he was well off, Mazorn's family both hailing from the Lower Upper class(Mother) and Upper Middle Class(Father). He split his time between the two families, his father visiting when he could.
Young Mazorn grew quickly, being one of the biggest kids in class. He sought out all forms of information, using his wit and guile to get him there, maintaining decent grades while using his family's affluence to find what he sought. His father made sure he could learn how to fight at a young age, alongside teaching him his family's practices as pagans.
Mazorn took to them well, becoming stout in their beliefs. He grew into a man, following the footsteps of his father as he enrolled himself in university. He chose to study at Oxford, to major in Philosophy and Mythology. He continued his practice, diving deeper into the lore of his gods, while learning about the great men and women of old. His teachers were pleased with his works, and after gaining his bachelor's he continued to study for his Master's.
It was at that time, Odin made himself known fully to Mazorn. Coming to him while he went backpacking on The Padjelanta Trail. He had taken the trip alone, seeking a short refuge from the busy life of his studies and to reconnect to nature. Odin visited him in both dreams, and in person, as an old hiker he met who kept him company for a night. When he fully revealed his intent, the young man was shocked, questioning the god about everything. Mazorn spent the whole night there, his eyes opening to that which was around him.
[ REASON FOR CHOICE ] Odin explained to Mazorn that he had chosen him based on both his beliefs and Mazorn's thirst for knowledge and guile matched his own. He would have a strong Communicator in him, one who would readily dedicate his life to the endeavor. Odin appreciates those who use their wit and strength in the pursuit of that which is hidden, and he is equally amused in a Communicator who will clash his will against him. Knowledge, after all, is useless without application.

[ RELICS / FAMILIARS ] Mazorn was given Gungnir and Himinn. Gungnir, which means the Swaying One, never misses it's target and will always return to it's wielder. It's secondary property is to channel the god's divine powers, often utilizing the elements in his attacks. Himinn, translated to mean heaven, sees into the hearts of men and beast. His bond with Mazorn increases his abilities over time.

Runes: Gaining the true strength of the Runic Alphabet, Mazorn can currently use the First Aett. The runes have various abilities, and using those from the Second and Third Aettir is vastly more difficult to control with any frequency.
A Glimpse into the Web: Utilizing the power of Odin's sacrifice, Mazorn can gain insight into the true state of the world around him for one hour. The Secondary ability of this ability gives him an advantage on spotting hidden things, and discerning glamours. It passively gives him dreams of the future when he drinks special mead.
Mask of a Thousand Voices: Mazorn is slowly learning Odin's ability to shapeshift and manipulate. Due to some of the conflicting nature within him, and the relative newness, he has only been able to shift into a large grey wolf, and a raven. His vocal ability, however, is only able to persuade half-truths to mortals. It is entirely ineffective against those with ties to greater beings currently outside of inducing Battle-Frenzy for a short period.

The Chief of the Aesir and head of the Norse Pantheon, Odin is a powerful being capable of utilizing Runes to the fullest extent. Lightning and Thunder are his to command and as the god of Berserkers, his strength is far greater than most. Few who find themselves on the sharp end of Gungnir live to tell the tale as he rides the steed Slepnir into battle alongside his wolves and ravens.
[ OTHER INTERESTS/SKILLS ] Philosophy- Mazorn's major, and one of his main interest, he will gladly talk a anyone who listen's ear off on the subject.
Weaponry- A collector of weapons and their fighting styles, Mazorn has studied many and owns several. Combat and warfare is his family's history and one of the tenets of his gods.
Sailing/Fishing- The sea is a second home to the Aesir, and Mazorn has always been drawn to the water. Whether it is boating or swimming, he's all for it. He loves to fish with his grandfathers and his dad.
Studying- Knowledge is Mazorn's path to power. Whether it be through learning various forms of martial arts or reading the works of the great philosophers and mathematicians; he collects as much as he can get his hands on. His current studies are in statescraft, as Odin wishes him to learn it.

However below the silken shirts lies a body heavily bejewelled and tatooed. His body is his greatest canvas and his back and chest are covered in ink. His back tattoo is of a large dragon clutching a globe and his front is a yin and yang depiction of two great wyrms, one of flesh and the other in bone. [ PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION ] Nico in public s reserved, elegant and composed. He is full of sarcasm and sharpened wit, prefering to say as little as possible but always with passion. He is an ecellent diplomat, his view fair and just and a firm believering in saying the truth or nothing at all. He despises those who publicly flaunt their wealth, spending his time helping those who need it.
In private, Nico shows off his creative passion, his flair for artistry and design. He does not fully hold to his parent's beliefs, having seen the world and researched a lot on the topics he could. He is active in his community, helping out where he can, to seek justice and promote change. His downside, however, is that he suffers agoraphobia, making being in large crowds very uncomfortable for Nico.

[ BIO ] Born to a rich family embroiled in politics and statescraft, Nicodemus is the youngest of seven sons. Born almost a midnight, the midwife noted that "there was a dark aura about this boy". And it seemed to be true. Less outspoken than his brothers, he seemed to have inherited his mother's artistic talent and eye for beauty. He was placed in the arts from a young age, but that dark shadow remained. It became known that he could find rare and valuable jewels by just combing the beachside, but the people the child gave them to tended to, pass on soon after.
It became noticeable when he had drawn a picture of his grandfather, one that replaced the elderly man's head with a skull, he had predicted the death that happened only hours after handing it too the man. His father would have called the priest if it hadn't been for Nico's mother Adromeda telling him it would look bad for their image. Instead, he was sent to a private school where he would be out of the public eye.
Nico's predictions only gained accuracy and depth as he grew his artistic talent. Images of the dead and damned were his main medium, a macabre scene as he would predict the deaths of those around him with a unsettling degree of accuracy. No one could explain how it worked, only that Nico's "gift" was unwanted. After predicting the death of one of the more abusive deans of the school, the man took the problem in his own hands and attempted to murder the teen, attempting to drown him in the nearby lake.
This event was foiled by a something he could never forget. As his head was held under the water, he saw a large serpent swimming close by. Passing the boy, it struck the Dean, the massive beast pulling him under the water as Nico was freed. The black scaling was noticable to him as he swore its face had a bony skull pattern. The man perished as another instructor had finally found them, seeing the events taking place and pulling Nico to safety. He had passed out due to shock and was hospitalized for a week, his father threatening to sue the institution for the assualt.
The boy would repress his ability as best as he could, fearing what would happen if something like that happened again, eventually becoming a near recluse. He turned his art inward, drawing on his body before getting tattoos and piercings. His father let him, as his mother was adamant that her baby boy get whatever he wanted, as he didn't cause problems like their other sons. His father let it go, seeing as it got the boy out of the family estate once in a while.
Nico involved himself in the online community, seeing it as a coping mechanism for his fear of the public. It wouldn't be until the next big family funeral that he saw him. The man, whose dark pale skin and blue eyes pierced directly into his soul. No one seemed to notice them as the man motioned for him to follow him. Eager to leave the crowded room that was giving him so much anxiety, the man merely smiled knowingly as he led the young man towards the sea.
"You know who I am, young one?"
Nico nodded. "You're Death. I've... Seen you. Every time..."
The man chuckled, despite his cold exterior the voice was full of loving mirth and encouragement. "No, child. I am not Death. He does work under me, yes. I am Hades. The Lord of the Underworld. And you were born to be my voice, my presence in the world. We call them Communicators." He stopped on the pier. "You have a gift. I see your trepidation, Nicodemus. It is a gift. The Moirai don't give such things lightly. You have a greater purpose. And much will be expected of you." The God placed his helm in the young man's hands. "I will guide you as much as I can, but there rules even I dare not cross. Wait for my call, my child."
[ REASON FOR CHOICE ]
Death is the great equalizer, but even he has some preference. Hades chose Nico because of his ability and sense of judgement. He firmly believe that the boy can live up to his expectation and become greater than he is now. All one needs is a small push in the right direction. Hades is the Great Judge, and Nico refuses to see an injustice pass him by.

[ RELICS / FAMILIARS ]
Helm of Darkness: The Helm of darkness was crafted by the Hekatónkheires, the Hundred Handed Ones, as payment for freeing them from the Pit of Tartaros. It allows it's wielder to be completely invisible and undetectable by all, even the Gods. With a secondary ability to change it's shape, Nico wears it as a necklace, it's ability allowing him an excellent escape from any situation or combat. It's secondary ability allows him to instill absolute terror upon his targets, causing the weak-willed to outright perish from Fear.
Skotadi: Skotadi is a black hellhound, currently a year old pup that protects and guards Nico. He is the equivilent of a guard and therapy dog, helping him out when needed. Skotadi(Greek for Shadow), has the ability to Shadow-walk, and he can sense the dead. Like most hounds he is an excellent tracker, being able to find escaped souls and living beings alike.
Hades' Bident A bident made of Celestial Bronze(Oricalcum), this weapon has the ability to conjure Greek Fire, a green flame that can burn nearly anything, even underwater. It is reportedly unbreakable. Nico can freely summon the weapon from his shadow.

From Dust to Dust: All things come from the earth, and will one day return. Being the Lord of Death and What Lies Below, Tunnels and the riches of the Earth are easy to find, and he will never get lost underground, always being able to find or create a path to the surface. What lies int he tunnels he does not yet have the ability to sense outside of riches or artifacts of power.
All that Glitters: Wealth is one of Hades' aspect, showing itself in Nico's ability to summon gems from the ground beneath him. These objects are heavily magical, and impact those that take them through their flaws. The pure, however, see only fortune come to them through the gems, often coming upon a great luck for a short period. The jewels act as a form of judgement test, revealing the hearts of the holder.
Lord of the Grave and Damned: Nico has the ability to perceive Death, giving him visions of those close to passing on. Upon determining that they are close to the grave, Nico can see into the soul of the person, bearing witness to their full extent of life lived, and whether their soul leans towards the Dark or Light. Additionally, he also has the ability to call to the deceased by giving an offering of food and drink, Nico can summon the spirits of the dead and commune with them, seeking their aid. Whether they help or not is up to them.
[ INVOCATION ]
The Invocation would open a portal directly to the throne of the Lord of the Underworld. Skeletal hands would erupt from the ground all around Nico as his skin begins to pale and flake off as Hades takes control. Blue soulfire would erupt from his eyes, as the bones would form his armor. Standing taller than three men, his might would shake the very earth as the dead would begin to rise. His faithful hound, Cerberus, would be unleashed upon the unfortunate souls who dared cross him. At his left, Thanatos, and his right would stand Dread Persephone.

Artist: Nico is a passionate artist, loving to draw and partake in photography of nature. His interest, due to his innate abilities, are of the macabre, but they always seem hopeful outside his prophetic visions.
Statescraft: Even with his agoraphobia, he is an excellent debater, able to persuade with his reason and will.
