Lazarus released his magic, folded his arms, and nodded. "I agree." He stepped forward. "Just state your business, and don't try anything funny. You stand before one of phoenix wings strongest teams. Frozen heart. We are both ready to challenge for S class. Lazarus Rex, and Sasha Shin from the team Frozen heart." He smirked a little. "So what is your business here, besides from damaging the door?" He asked. He noticed the young girl behind the young man. "What are your names?" he grunted, still weary of the two.

"Then I think you should give the lacrima to Jarvis. He can use it more effectively then anyone else, after all. And then we can gather all our members, and head back. Where would Grane go, so I can collect Maddox?"

Deciding it might be a good idea to show he meant no harm, he set his katana on the ground and pushed it towards the two Phoenix Wing mages."There, I'm unarmed now, so relax. The name is Joshua Tamashii, I'm a mage from the Far North... or should I say Far East? Spent one half of my life in one area and the other half in the other. Either way, I came to join the guild. First impressions ain't good I know but maybe I can change those, given time." Amelia jumped when she was addressed but quickly bowed to the older mages. "Amelia Averyonna." She said, speaking just loud enough for them to hear her

Sasha looked to Lazarus, and said, "Master Jamie normally accepts people no matter what, I don't see why we can't...But I'd say the damages to the guild will come out of his job money" She said, shrugging. She knew where the guild stamp was, and she went behind the bar, but said to Lazarus, "What do you think? there is new jobs up, so they can take one or whatever without us having to do much..." She didn't know what to do with the book, and knew they should wait for the other guild members to return. She picked up the stamp, "Um. Colour and location, right?"

Karn Fiore || Kabo || Council Library Interacting: Mayt, Melina, Jamie

Karn blinked a little before stopping at Mayt's hands lightly stopped him and he moved a little away, but still didn't seem to mad about it. At first, his body had stiffened and slightly froze and closed one eye, as if expecting a hit but instantly relaxed and smiled at the man's words. "Okay! Hope you feel better soon, so just let me know if you need anything." Karn chirped before looking toward Melina as she read a book. "It's because it's kind of part of her name, and she was a Mythical creature when we met. So Mythy!" he chirped before walking to the space the two disappearing people were. Curiously waving a arm at the empty air and swatting at it like some overgrown curious feline. As the Guild Master mentioned the missing Maddox, Karn instantly bounded over. "Oh I can go find him! I'm a good tracker. Even if he poofs away, if he's in the building I could find him." Karn offered eagerly, his green eyes wide open with hope and eagerness to be useful.

[Damian] Damian snorts as he grabs James and beckons towards the way out of the library. "War I'm familiar with. VERY familiar with. Death is just an old friend for me." Going out the door, he takes a moment to wait for James, already trying to figure out what he'd felt during his fight with Carrie and Masahiko, a deeper magic he didn't know he had. And now that he knew, he had to find that limit and break it. [James] Finishing up helping Penny the best he can, James stands with a yawn. "I'm not quite sure what Damian meant, Masahiko, but you should know that Phoenix Wing came prepared for all out war. If we hadn't, why waste the time showing up at all?" Following him out the door, he appraises the Blade. "So, what are we doing?" Damian smiled and pointed down, where James realized there was some intense magic energy. "We go kick the ass of the bastard who put Penny through the wall."

Jarvis, watching Damian and James head aside, followed, overhearing what Damian said. Did all the members have to be so head strong? But he could understand the need to protect and avenge someone you care about, as he thought of Jamie. He sighed and said "You have to find him and Maddox first, and Maddox hasn't made it easy to find them. Perhaps you should try Karn. He could probably shape shift into an animal that can hunt them up easily."

Angelo looked over to see that Damien and James had left and he was able to pick up what he said about getting back at someone who put penny through the wall. Angelo didn't need to hear anymore then that as he bowed once more to master Jamie and went to follow them he turned to Jarvis and said "whatever helps" he said as he decided he would help them. Angelo couldn't help find the book but at least he could be James and Damien's back up if they need it even if they are s ranked that doesn't mean that they wont fight an enemy they will need help taking down so what would be the harm...

Grane Falo

As he teleported throughout the cavern with his wings retracted out, Grane noticed Maddox began multiplying himself. Interesting, not only can he teleport, but he can also create copies of himself, not a bad combination. But determining what kind of magic it is could be tricky unless I can actually see what kind of copy it is. Grane decided to test the wizard's magic capabilities again and take his bait to see what they would be like. "Fire transformation Magic style, Blue Flames!" He said as he approached the Maddox copies with his scales releasing blue flames that covered his entire body. Once he came into close enough contact with the copies, Grane could feel the magic of thought projection from them. After the copies' attacks, Grane curled up in a ball and stretch out with a bright ball of blue flames consume the copies around him. Once the ball of fire dispersed, Grane was still floating in the air with his blue flame covering him. "If all your magic only involves in teleportation and illusions with no kind of offensive magic spells, then you might of made a mistake to challenge me to a duel. Now, if you don't have anything else to show me, should I try finishing this duel quickly then?" He said, waiting to see what else this wizard was capable of.

[Damian] Damian pointed down again. "You're telling me you can't pick that up down there? Where else would the two of them end up but in the lowest part of the building where the structural integrity is strongest? We'll go help take care of old lizard lips, you and Master Jamie get the others back to the Guild Hall. This won't take long." With a final backwards wave, the Blade of Phoenix Wing and their newly gained Paladin disappear into the halls, Damian following his instincts to get to where the massive battle was going on. Hopefully they wouldn't be too late to help out in bringing Grane down.

"It won't be that easy to find them, Damian. I've looked. Yes, they are beneath us, but its a maze down there" Jarvis sighed. Between Jamie and the guild members, Jarvis figured he would die a young, and violent death. Since he couldn't be in two places at once, and since he figured Jamie was alright, and safer then the two boys, Jarvis followed after Damian and James.

Trinity stepped up next to Karn, putting a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, if you're going to go find those two, I think I'd better come with you." She looked back at Penny and Mayt. "Even if you aren't looking for a fight, it seems like who we're looking for is fighting. It'll be safer if we go together. Especially if that person could do that to Penny..." She squeezed his shoulder before reaching up to play her harp. "Let's go, Karn. Maybe we can beat 'em there, huh?"

Karn Fiore || Kabo || Council Library Interacting: Damian, James, Jarvis

Karn curiously watched as James and three others walked out, supposedly to go find Maddox. James and the platinum blonde running off ahead and other that stuck by the Guild Master mostly following. Thinking a little, he moved his body a little in examination. His leg was still hurting, and his injuries were still apparent but perhaps some time as his Chimera would be killing two birds with one stone. It was the best tracker, built as a Hunter along as a fighter in order to track down magical creatures. That included wizards. As well has help his wounds move along in healing a bit better. Looking to the others, he smiled a bit to them and waved. "I'm going to help them around. This place is pretty confusing the deeper you go. See you all soon!" he chirped before looking to Trinity as she put a hand on his shoulder, basically insisting that she come along. For a moment, he glanced to the others, Mayt and Penny being injured and leaving mostly only Jamie and Melina to protect them. It made him a bit more weary since the Rune Knights were still around. But then again Mithera probably was as well. The boy smiled and gave a soft nod and a cheeky grin before his body transformed into his massive Chimera form. The long brown mane slightly ruffled, and his injuries more apparent with red stained fur. Shaking thick fur, his long thick tail wrapped around Trinity's waist and lifted her up to set her on top of his back. His hind leg stung a little and he had to lift it up a bit briefly before bounding along after them. His ears perked as he listened closely, golden eyes examining his surroundings before he smelled the air. He sensed the magic and he smelled Maddox along with his odd magic. As well as the burning ash scent of the lizardman. For a moment he paused, his senses all tuning in into this form's instincts as it locked onto its targeted hunt. "Alright, hold on." Karn said with a grin. Golden eyes slitting slightly, the large beast charged, bounding down the halls at a good speed as it slipped around corners and different set of stairs. Easily following the direction that held the strongest part of the scents. Though Sayuri's and Wes's scents caught his attention. They were along the way, and soon he saw them and came to a brief trot pace. "HiWes!HiSayuri!GoodtoSeeyou! EveryoneelseisinthelibrarybuttwoofthemwentpooftothetheGuildHall! GoingtogoseeMaddyPoofandLizardmansotalklater! OkayseeyoulaterbyYyyyyyyyyyyye!!!!!" Karn said in a speedy matter as he greeted them in a fast pace manner before moving on. Maddox could be in trouble, so he had to be a bit quick about it, but he wanted to say hi as well. The others may slow to give her a better summary however. Weaving through twists and turns of hallways, more flights of stairs until he came what looked like a stone walled dead end. Putting his right paw against it as he sniffed at it vigorously, he growled before spinning and slamming his tail against it a few times before it simply crumpled.

Mayt --- Council Library

Mayt sighed as he watched most everyone. He used his hands to schooch himself over near Penny, using his legs a little bit, but it clearly is not the most pleasant of feelings. "If we can run off the blood witch, we can be basically alone." He chuckled, and smiled a bit. "I'd feel much more comfortable without her here, personally. But I guess I'd rather have the one who enjoys killing too much protecting me than one who's reluctant to. Not that I don't trust Jamie to protect us, but just... Food for thought I guess." He sighed again, and moved so he was sitting against a book case. He closed his eyes and just focused on breathing silently. His hands resting on either side of him.

Seeing that Mayt was moving towards her, Penny glanced about, and seeing that James was gone, sat up, schooching towards him to make it easier, ignoring the pain, which was lessened now. "I do not like her. She's a liar and a manipulator, and I don't understand why Master Jamie tolerates her" she sighed "I don't trust her at all. If she's willing to kill that easy, who's to say she won't kill us?"

Masahiko walked around a corner and looked down at Mayt and Penny, "Your not actually here alone with her. I'm still in here and so is Jamie. Besides killing wounded people I don't think she would Penny. It takes an especially cold, or desperate, person to do that," he stands above her and grabs a book. Walking over to another shelf nearby he leans against it, I'm generally a good judge of character. So what are some changes you think need to be made. Ignore the Dark Guild problem for the purpose of this question."

Penny frowned, thinking for a few moments. "Well...you need to start celebrating magic. Sure, the guilds do that, but there hasn't been anything like a festival or anything even remotely close to that. Have fun things, like a mage juggling fire, or something, that sort of stuff. To make people see magic can be fun and harmless, and maybe reward some wizards on their courage blah blah blah at defending Fiore and helpings its people. Show that wizards are helping out, and that they are aiming to keep people safe. I passed so many towns on my travels to Phoenix wing, and many of them still fear magic. Celebrating it could go a long way to dispelling that sort of fear" She shrugged, not particularly caring if it was a good idea or not, but knowing it was something that should be done. How many children would grow up easier lives, learning their magic safety, if their parents didn't fear it? How many people would seek out help, if they didn't fear it?

He can use fire too, Maddox thought. The thoughtforms that ganged up on Grane proved their lack of substance with his ball of flame, and as such phased out of the air. The large, draconian man taunted Maddox for his strategy so far, but the remaining copies of Maddox only grinned. "I told you I was rusty," one of the Maddox copies claimed, before vanishing away to prove it was a thoughtform. "But I've been holding myself back for a reason. There are two outcomes I want to avoid." "I don't want to collapse this cavern and I don't want to kill you." With that, the remaining four Maddox copies all vanished. The real Maddox appeared, alone, directly in front of Grane, in the air. He had his right arm stretched out with his palm just inches away from Grane's chest. Bright red light was glowing from his palm. A plume of red light shot out like a powerful flame. The Thruster Palm spell.

"Back of this hand, black if you don't mind." Joshua said when Sasha when the girl offered the guild stamp, holding out his right hand. Once he had the stamp he went over to were his sword was on the ground and used his foot to lift it off the ground and catch it with his right hand. He then glanced around before heading over to the job board, regardless of whether or not it had survived the ransacking of the guild. He glanced through the available jobs before pulling two off the board and heading back over" Gonna take this one. Is that going to be a problem? Course, the back up incase it is would be this one." The first job he was holding was labeled 'Rogue Magician!" while the second was labeled "The Cockroach Invasion". Amelia finally entered the guild proper and looked around at the wreckage that was all around them, shocked "Is this place usually like this?" She asked no one in particular, wondering if joining the guild would be a good idea.

Lazarus shook his head as the two received their guild marks. "I don't think is a good idea Sasha. No disrespect to you two." He referred to te two newcomers. "Jarvis normally approves guild members himself." He sighed before taking a more serious tone. "Don't forget that we have an important mission Sasha." He looked at the other two. "I'm sorry. You cannot take that job now." He said stubbornly. "I truly am sorry that you've come at this time, but right now you as Phoenix wing wizards are needed." He looked at Sasha. "We are expecting company at some point soon, after an artifact we have in our possession. It is our duty to protect it with even our very souls. I warn you that this room could become very dangerous soon. If you wish to still become Phoenix wing wizards. Join us and fulfill your duty. Protect the contents of Sasha's say hell with your lives!" He grunted, folding his arms again. "Sheesh. You guys picked a time to join the guild....."
