There are broken blood vessels around her eyes, and there's some obvious pooling. It should be simple to heal, the question is whether or not forcing them back to normal is the right decision. If this is an awakening of some kind, it may be better to let her body do its own healing.

Not what your mom and I have done, but what you and your siblings are going to do. What we'll all do together. You earn respect by following conventions people make. Is that what we should do? Follow along like everyone else just so they'll like us? Or should we do our own thing and not care what they think?

That's a great attitude to have, but not what I meant. I meant that not being seen is a good way to accomplish more, not that we're overwhelmed by being seen.
