Just a note. This RP will be taking place in the anime version of Soul Eater, as the manga version has everything wrapped up in a nice pretty little bow. Some aspects of the Manga will be moved here, but not everything.

Welcome to Death Weapon Meister Academy. We are commonly known as the DWMA. It stands as the defense against the forces of the evil, which would plunge the world into chaos and drag humanity to the very depth of fear and madness. The demons known as Kishin and their insatiable hunger for destruction.

So basically we're an organization that exists to protect and preserve peace. I guess it's not exactly a typical school. Oh well, that isn't important. For now let's roll up our sleeves and get to work!

It's been seven years since the Kishin Asura was brought down, and since then things have been as normal as they could for the DWMA. In that time, Soul, Tsubaki, Liz, and Patti have all reached the Death Scythe level, all now working for the new Lord Death, Kid. Despite this, Soul and Tsubaki continue to work with their previous partners, as Black Star still needs someone to keep him level headed while fighting people with evil souls, and Maka couldn't work without her soon to be husband at her side as a teaching assistant.

Stein continues to teach with both Spirit and Marie at his side, with the latter somehow able to both do her responsibilities as a parent and a teacher's assistant.

As stated above, this will take place seven years after the events of the series, with our characters being in their own class. Canon characters will make appearances, but I want for the focus to stay on us and off of them. We will be starting a few days after the first day of the school year, so we will already have our teams together. We will be in out own class, not Stein's or Maka's.

Personality: Confident and courageous, Conrad's name is the epitome of his core. Conrad meaning "brave" and Macbeth meaning "son of life". His ambitions are not always laid out clearly on the table and at times he can be described as cocky or foolhardy. A few people have noted that he is less over the top than his father: Aaron but has a distinct similarity in the strength of his gaze.

Biography: The son of a reputable ⋆ ⋆ ⋆ Meister, Conrad was always on his father's heels, the man's heroic image promising fame and establishing a deep admiration in him. At the age of fourteen, the youth took a year-long trip with the man. They traveled along the boundary of the land, fighting, doing missions, training, and the sorts. Aaron (his father) even took to training him in martial arts. He learned a bit, more than enough to handle himself in a bad situation, but is far from a master or even professional practitioner. When he returned home, inspired by the adventure, he resolved to become the strongest Meister in the world; his goal to beat the crap out his father. Through years of practicing his lessons and research, he advanced in his martial arts and eventually ended up at the doors of the DWMA, ready to become a true Meister.

Personality: An outspoken and happy person with not a lot of social grace, Dante finds he makes a fool of himself far more often than he would like. Despite his quirky and strange exterior, inside he is an honor bound warrior. He often finds himself in situations he both didn’t expect nor had any concept of how he got there. Either way, he always has fun with it, fighting his way out of any and all of his scrapes.

Biography: As a young child Dante didn’t have any aspirations, dreams, or hopes. Growing up in an orphanage can have that effect on a boy. He was left on the doorstep as a baby with nothing but a note that read “Dante”. He would just sit and read all day, books about great warriors and stories of old times. It was there that he found a last name that suited him and made it his own. The name Freever seemed cool to him, so he took it. One day he stumbled upon a book called ‘The history of Shibusen’. This book contained the stories of the DWMA, and the students, from its creation to the time the Kishin Asura was defeated. After reading the wondrous stories of the Meisters and Weapons that held the world in balance, he had decided he wanted to be a Meister. He spent many years practicing his bare hand fighting until the workers of the orphanage gave him a real sword to practice with. An old beaten up katana with some weird letters he didn’t understand on the hilt. Never the less, he loved it. It was by pure luck that he wound up at the academy though, having never been adopted he decided he would go off on his own. He left with a bag full of food, 50 dollars and the clothes on his back, his katana included of course. He stumbled around the world for about 6 months until he passed out in the dead of night and woke up in front of the DWMA. He figured since he was here already he might as well get started. With his hand grasped tightly to his katana he ascended the steps, excited that his dream was coming true.

Biography: She was raised by her mother, who was a devoted martial artist. Her father was often away on business, so she never spent much time with him. With such a disciplined upbringing, it wasn't until she was older that Regan discovered her Demon Weapon abilities. This threw a wrench in her training, as it was something her mother had no experience with. The best choice they had was to send the girl off to Shibusen.
Extras: She can take the form of any weapon that she has become proficient with. Her resonance form is always that katana. Though she's a capable fighter, she's technically a NOT student... Technically.

Biography
Jakuten's family tree is a long not-so-well-known one. For the few people that do know of it, they know about how his family has an extraordinary gift that allows them to know where pressure points are located on the human body, allowing them to trigger them and make certain limbs/parts go numb and basically useless. They teach no one how to do this, and keep it to themselves, and nobody in their family would ever reveal how anyways, due to them being so honorable to their family.

Jakuten was born in one of the many dojo's his family lives in. While they would never teach anyone how to activate the pressure points, they will teach different forms of martial arts. His family has three roles that they lead in their lives: Sensei to many of the people that come to their Dojo's for wisdom, Caretaker of the Dojo's who take care repair and clean the Dojo's, and Meisters. His family may have very few of them, but those that are Meisters, put their all into becoming them, most of the time having a naturally sturdy and strong soul wavelength. Jakuten was born and grew to become one of these Meisters, and put all of his effort into becoming one.

While he was growing up, his family supported his goal and aimed to help him with this. Everyone in their family learned martial arts, it was a strict policy among all of them. When you were raised to become a Meister, the training was a bit different. Instead of training to become expert at unarmed combat (to support the gift that they have), they also were trained to handle a large number of weapons. He was raised and learned these things, eventually being accepted into the DWMA.

Skills:
Advanced Soul Perception: Eloise is quite adept at the art of Soul Perception and can sense a soul even at a distance. Every year she seems to gain greater affinity for Soul Perception which at times can bring her unwanted attention.

Efficient Soul Wavelength Control: Her Soul is still growing so it will be a while before it reaches its peak strength but with the soul wavelength she does have is very precise. Her ability to manipulate Soul Wavelengths is quite advanced, making Soul Resonance quite powerful when performed correctly. While not that powerful yet, she already has started using Soul Force to a degree, allowing her to attack effectively even without a weapon.

Personality: Eloise is a rather shy girl who finds it hard to talk to others and make friends. This seems to contrast greatly with her abilities to manipulate soul wavelengths and acute soul perception but perhaps because of her personality she found the need to rely on another way to ‘read’ people. When confronted she is likely to back down and has a hard time dealing with pushy people as they can scare her quite easily, this in effect often makes the pushy person feel bad as she is rather quick to get teary-eyed. If one would describe her in a word, probably ‘sensitive’ would fit the bill; she can be quick to catch onto things though voicing her findings can be a bit of a challenge. One would think such a sheltered-esque girl would be useless in a fight but surprisingly this is not the case, at times at least.

Eloise has a sort of defense mechanism built into her psyche that activates during combat. Before this happens she can often seen quite flighty and cowardly but once the switch is turned her true skills come to the forefront. Eloise effectively shuts down her emotions, becoming almost doll-like in expression and at times movement which allows her to completely concentrate on the fight and her impressive Soul Manipulation skills. The change in fighting prowess and strategy throws most opponents off, especially as they are unable to read her anymore due to her low-emotion state. Once she snaps back she’s pretty quick to return to her normal, flustered self.

Biography: As her rather flamboyant name implies Eloise comes from a rather extravagant household that liked to toss money around like it was rice on a wedding day. Despite coming from such a household Eloise found that such riches merely isolated her or else made ‘friends’ try to get close to her to exploit her wealth. Perhaps it was her inner wish to want to know other people’s intentions that triggered her sensitivity to soul wavelengths, allowing her to unknowingly sense at times when something was ‘off’ about a person. Eloise became rather demure and kept to herself most of the time, somewhat avoiding people being unsure of how to deal with others. Things might have kept going downhill from there until an event changed her life forever.

Witches and other entities can often realize when a person is gaining soul power and soul perception and as her untrained power grew she got some unwanted attention. While her family was out on the town one night they were attacked by a monster that was attracted to her soul. When the monster had her cornered in her fear she unleashed her soul’s power for the first time and used Soul Force for the first time much to the monster’s surprise. Of course she didn’t defeat it with just that but it bought her just enough time for a nearby meister to slay the beast and save her. Impressed by her soul control the meister suggested that Eloise had what it took to become one herself. This event also triggered her ‘switch-off’ ability for combat.

Partly as a way to toughen her up a little, but mostly for her own protection her parents insisted that she start to train to become a meister. Always ready to obey her parents she did as instructed and is now a DWMA student in training to become a meister. She certainly has a long way to go though.

* Collects Key-chains, her desk is full of them.
* She is extremely flexible and can do some pretty extreme poses.
* Keeps a journal to write down her thoughts and experiences. DWMA gives her plenty to write about.

Weapon and Resonance form: Weapon form. When closed, has a five inch radius when folded, and a nine inch radius when fully opened. Resonance form. eight inch radius when folded, fourteen inch radius when opened.
Skills:
Personality: Karin used to be a bright and open minded young woman. She still is nowadays, but not like she was with her previous partner. She tries to see the best possible scenarios in all situations, and never gives up until her last breath is used. As a way to keep herself calm, she likes humming to herself and painting, usually graffiti.
Biography: Karin was born into a Japanese-American family, and learned to live with a family that mixed two different cultures together. From a young age she had learned that she was a demon weapon, a trait that she shared with both her mother and father. Her father was a dagger, and her mother was a chakram, which in her both came together to create her weapon form. They both taught her how to use her weapon form, but their teachings could only get her so far in life. At the age of ten, Karin and her family moved to America to enroll her into the Death Weapon Meister Academy. They would have sent her on her own, had they had enough trust in her to not cause any trouble after being alone for a few minutes. There, she learned how to be an effective and deadly weapon. She was skilled at her art, and had even gotten close to becoming a death scythe at the age of fifteen.

When she was on her last soul, the witch that they faced was much too powerful for them, and the result of losing to her cost her meister his life. She was stricken with grief, as she was the one who insisted that they take on the witch as soon as they could. After his death, she retired from collecting souls, her mind and soul shattered from being the reason that her partner was dead. She was unable to form a connection with any other meisters, and every time she tried to get back into it, she was flooded with memories of her meister.

Years later, Karin finally stepped out of retirement to get back into the business of collecting souls. She hadn't trained in years, and while mostly recovered, there were still lingering memories that hurt her deeply. Taking the safest option, she was re-enrolled into the DWMA to restart her career as a demon weapon.
Extras: She is ambidextrous in just about everything, but can only do certain things with her left hand. She also had a scar running down her back from her witch encounter.

She can be pulled from a hat!

Eliza's brand of magic allows her to create portals by conjuring glyphs in non-adjacent locations. Unlike when using spatial magic, she cannot create a portal to other dimensions, and can only conjure her glyphs within a limited range. Rather than for teleportation (which is actually not so effective in her case, considering she has to see where to conjure her glyphs), Eliza incorporates it in combat using unorthodox ways. And perhaps most often, she uses it to mess with people.

Transform
Eliza can transform into a rabbit. It doesn't have much use in combat, but it does help her escape when she's being punished for a prank.


Personality:
All play and no work, everything is fun and games to sprightly Eliza. She freely bounds about, a ball of mischief wrapped in sunshine and laughter, causing trouble and ruckus wherever she goes. It's difficult (though not impossible) for her to take things seriously, and so many of her reactions to what normal people consider dire situations might be 100% inappropriate. Like literally laughing in the face of danger, or cracking jokes at the most inopportune times. She has a habit of teasing friends and foes alike, especially those with a meeker or more somber disposition. There's just nothing more satisfying to her than ticking off people with sticks up their butts and seeing them let loose. Easily entertained by most anything, Eliza's laughter is a common sound in DMWA. If there ever comes a day when she doesn't get overcome with a fit of giggles, it probably means the world is ending or something.

Armed with a devil-may-care approach in life, there's nothing stopping her from taking risks during combat, and she's more than likely to opt for using sheer force to get through a situation. She tends to side with gut and feeling rather than logic and caution, which results in recklessness in battle. Eliza also has nothing in the way of delicacy—she's blunt and frank, zero filter and subtlety. She constantly indulges her whims and often has to be reeled in and prevented from adding to the problem. Perhaps her only saving grace is that she's naturally personable. For all her impishness, she's genuine and genial, and it's thanks to that she's able to get away with some of the things she does.

Biography:
Eliza is a witch. It's not something she hides, but it's not something she broadcasts either. Having raised by her mom away from the Witch's Realm, Eliza knows nothing of her kind's society and knows about them only through books and the occasional gossip spreading in her town. Her mom refuses to divulge any information about them other than she had been exiled, and so she has left it at that. She's aware of the witches' less-than-favorable repute amongst many people, but she found that she hadn't really cared at all.

As she was growing up, her mom kept her under close watch, monitoring her every actions. Eliza had always been a troublemaker, easily getting into brawls with the other children and gaining infamy among her neighbors for her pranks, and her mother worried that her penchant for mischief was a sign of her blooming destructive instinct. She was told it had to do with the sway of magic, but she never fully understood what it meant. All she knew was that her mother was more than relieved to discover a few years later that her magic was of the nondestructive nature.

Not counting all the trouble she caused, she and her mom lived in relative peace. No drama, no secrets, just boring happy times. Then out of the blue and without preface, her mom brought up DWMA and insisted she enroll, a frenetic look about her as she hurriedly packed her things. Eliza was given no explanations, but her mom had been uncharacteristically forceful about it. By then she learned that the more significant something is, the less her mother discloses (her mom was weird like that), and so she obediently complied. When she was kicked out of the car in the streets of Death City, with her luggage at her side and only a rushed 'I love you, see you soon' in parting, Eliza knew going to DWMA must have been really important.

Extras:
- She loves sweets, and is easily swayed by them. If you want her to do something for you, bribing her with candy or cake is the way to go.
- She likes to sing, and usually makes up nonsensical theme songs while she's doing something.
- She's not the most graceful of fighters, and she lacks the sheer power other meisters have. Her best asset in combat is her spontaneity.
