Current You know you're getting old when you start getting excited after discovering a new cleaning product that makes it SO, SO MUCH easier to clean stains from the bathroom floor.

I've just realized that in all the 9 years I've been part of this site, I've never had to change my name, make an alt account or anything like that!

Bio

"Humanity takes great pride in three things. Their willpower, their greed and their mortality.

Their will and endless greed allows them to grow and ascend past other creatures
But their mortality denies them divinity

It's a delightful purgatory between being Fallen and being Divine"

PS: @Rune_Alchemist

Normally, I would take 2 posts to use the Living Magic Artillery Shell, but to hasten things up (we've spent a lot of time in this scene already, right? XD

I can cast it instantly (IF you agree with that, of course.)
@Rune_Alchemist

*gasp* omg you killed the poor boy T__T

Welp, now Yasha has no reason to hold herself back anymore...

Don't worry. She will pretty much wreck the place after she uses the Magic Artillery Shell... lol

What Senna did right now will leave some pretty interesting marks on Yasha's mind. The only thing holding her back, was her thoughts, from when she was still human. Now, because of her hesitation, the boy died, and Selena is in danger. Don't expect her to hesitate again XD

Yasha

Yasha watched as Senna left a trail of blood, corpses and destruction where she passed. Not even walls and buildings could stop her mad rage. Changing her bloody sword into a myriad of different weapons, the demoness seemed to enjoy killing innocent with the most varied, twisted and cruel means possible. She had already killed many... Who knows when she would stop...
If things continued like that, Senna would destroy the entire fort, leaving nothing but blood and bodies behind...

Sadly, Yasha's plan failed. The holy energy simply stopped above Senna, without affecting her at all. There was a barrier protecting her from Yasha's attacks. She knew that if she used stronger attacks, there was a big risk of collateral damage... But again... Did that really matter by now? Half of the fort was already bathed in blood, buildings in ruin, plunged in complete chaos... The last drop of Yasha's patience was gone after she watched what Senna did next...

A boy had approached her, with a sword in his hands... For Yasha's surprise, it was the same boy Selena was trying to talk to earlier, the one who stole from that other noisy merchant. By the way he held the sword, it was quite obvious that he didn't know how to wield it, yet he simply stood still in front of Senna.

"Run, foolish boy... Run..." Yasha said, as she aimed towards Senna. But it was useless... Senna knew she was watching, she was even mocking her, yelling at her and Selena... Only a second later, Yasha saw Senna dashing towards the boy, her sword, now only a simple sword, cutting the air in a cruel and powerful downwards slash. She was playing with the boy. She let him catch her blade on purpose, only to follow with a cruel kick, sending him to the ground. Even though, the boy still managed to pull himself to his feet, in an admirable act of courage, or in Yasha's opinion, foolishness...

There was no time to think... After the boy got up, Senna dashed towards him again. This time, she was going for the kill. Yasha knew that. She had already played with him, and he proved to not be 'capable' enough to entertain her, now she was done with him.
That was it... She couldn't stand still and watch. Even if she took some innocent lives, she had to deal with Senna...

"Thou who hath tarnisheth your hands with innocent blood, thy soul hath been marketh... Thy transgressions shall not go unpunished.
By the power of the Dark Sun, I shall hunteth the enemies of the Lords. Thy soul, body and sins shall be pierceth and purified by the light of the Dark Moon."
Yasha said again, repeating the same prayer, but this time, she wouldn't hesitate. She had begun to cast the Living Magic Artillery Shell. This time, she wouldn't miss on purpose.

An incredible amount of magical energy started to concentrate on Yasha's location. Anyone who were sensitive to magic, would perceive that oppressive amount of mana in the air. It was Yasha's strongest spell, and it wasn't something to be scoffed at.
"You wanted me to attack you with everything I got, didn't you? Your wish has been granted, Senna..." Yasha said, as she aimed towards Senna.

Even with all of Yasha's calculations, there was a single variable that she forgot to include... Selena.
Apparently, Selena too was tired of seeing Senna murdering innocent people. She was obviously ready for battle, and was currently charging at Senna with a dagger on her hands.

"NO, NO, NO!! NOT NOW!!! SELENA, GET AWAY FROM SENNA, RIGHT NOW!" Yasha shouted, but she probably wouldn't hear her, given her distance from them. It was no use... She could not use strong attacks... The risk was too much... Not only for Selena, but it would probably ruin the entire place, killing anyone else that she could have saved...

But again... Wasn't Yasha's job simply to eliminate the sinners? She wasn't the one who saved others... She was just a blade. And a blade is only used to kill, never to save...

"Shit, shit!" She cursed. Now wasn't the time to let her 'human' mind speak... She had no time to think about the moral aspects of her tasks...

"If magical projectiles don't work... Lets see if your barrier can stop this..." Yasha said, firing towards Senna. That shell was different from the other ones. It was encased shells. A thin outer shell of crystalized magic, encasing a spell, on that case, pure holy energy.
The physical aspect of the shell would be enough to 'fool' the barrier, if it was simply an anti-magic barrier. Upon hitting her target, that thin shell would break, letting out the spell encased inside.

"In case that doesn't work..." Yasha said, shooting one more time. This time, it was a shell made of pure crystalized mana. Purely physical. Physical barriers or shields and armor wouldn't be enough to stop that bullet.

"I'm sorry, Senna. But I've had enough of your murderous rampage..." Yasha said, as she fired, once again, opening a hole on the clouds, letting behind a streak of pure mana, cutting the skies. This time, she didn't reposition. She simply looked directly towards Senna.

Freyr

Freyr was a bit upset by the prank the sylph pulled on him, but he was honestly surprised when she said that she would like to join the guild. It didn't matter how many times Freyr tried to tell her that it wasn't a place for a child to be, she simply wouldn't take no for an answer. After some time, Freyr gave up in trying to convince her, so he simply let her follow them.

After stopping by a river to clean himself, he went back to the guild. Getting there, the first thing he heard was a rather familiar voice, and a bunch of indigo colored feathers flying to their direction. He had already seen those indigo feathers before... After it landed in front of them, he immediately recognized who it was. It was Haley, the harpy lady he met on the previous mission.

She looked incredibly panicked, talking something about an Order Hero inside the building, asking for help.

"Haley, please calm down! What happened? Order Hero? Which order hero? If he is a 'hero' then he is good, right?" Freyr said, extremely confused by what was happening. He had never heard about that 'Order' before, but Hero wasn't a strange word to him. People always said that heroes were always the good guys, right?

"Um...Marxello is with us, Miss...He's from the Order, but he's a friend. I-I mean, as long as you don't do anything wrong. I...think." Freyr heard Magnus saying.

"Oh, you meant him... He is from the guild. I promise you, he will do nothing to you as long as we are here. I don't know anything about his past, but I'm sure that he won't attack anyone without a good reason." Freyr said, inspecting Marxello. He really didn't know that man very well, he only knew that he was from the guild. Was he one of those types that hunted monsters? After what Haley said, he became a bit suspicious of him.

He silently watched as Marxello walked towards them, immediately going for Magnus, talking to him. The second he got nearby them, Freyr instinctively put himself between Haley, Celes and Marxello, protecting them from the man.

The conversation that followed, gave Freyr some hints why Haley was so afraid of the Order. Magnus apparently knew the order as well. He had said something about them being... genocidal.

After a few moments thinking, Magnus' voice interrupted his thoughts. He had asked him if he knew the reason why they were males. Apparently, Marxello had asked that same question to him.

"I'm sorry, I have no idea. I am simply born like this. I lived my entire life alone, so I really don't know. Female Vieras are not really... kind to males. They sees us as rivals. I would stand no change against an entire tribe of female Vieras, especially alone." Freyr replied, looking to Magnus and then Marxello.

"I'm sorry if I sound a bit rude... But can you explain yourself a bit regarding this... genocidal thing, Marxello?" Freyr asked, looking directly to the man. He wasn't even trying to hide, Marxello would immediately see his eyes studying him, and feel that Freyr didn't trust him a lot. Freyr himself had never heard about that 'Order' But if Haley was so panicked and afraid with that, surely there was something going on...

Bast Ragoczy

Bast heard as the boy spoke, asking if he was famous and talking about his magics. He said he was called Absalom, or Abe for short. Abe was quite the naïve and innocent boy. Apparently he didn't know that much about the world, he was just a child. He had a sword on his hands, was seeking blood and vengeance, but he was still only a child.

"Don't worry, Abe. I'm sure that this... Lord Araghast doesn't care that much about people other than himself..." Bast said, following the boy. He knew that following him would probably take a while, but it was worth it. He would finally do something interesting...

After following him for a while, Abe asked if he had some magic to help them cross the river.
After hearing that, Bast immediately made two cards appear on his hand, imbuing them with ice magic. He then handed the cards to the boy. They were slightly war to the touch, but they were surrounded with an incredibly cold air, it was so cold that you felt that if you held them close to your skin, you would probably freeze it.

"As long as you keep touching them, they won't hurt you. Throw them on the lake when you are ready to cross it. They will freeze the water, so we can simply walk across the river. Just be careful, don't drop them on your own body." Bast said, handing him the cards.

@PaulHaynek

Sorry for the delay!!! Will have my post tomorrow!

@PaulHaynek Sorry for the delay. Parents on the hospital... Had to deal with some pretty urgent IRL issues... But I'm back now.

PS: Someone made Freyr mad...
@Rune_Alchemist

Now Yasha is like

Get ready, she will send a barrage of powerful spells to your direction. Hitting the boy got her reeeal mad
@BurningDaisies

Unless they have some affinity with dark energy of any type, it should be harmless.
@Rune_Alchemist

Only if they're cursed or not entirely human. Since its pure holy energy, common, normal humans should be fine (saving for those cases. Or humans that use dark magic & etc...)
