Hiya, AChronum here! Although I'm relatively new to rping, I have plenty of writing experience and love trying new genres and styles. I absolutely love high magic fantasy RPs and am pretty much willing to do anything so long as I can create a charaxter, not play an existing one, and develop lots and lots of backstory! I'm perfectly comfortable with all mature themes as well, although smut for smut's sake is out of the question.

Interested in an RP? Send me a PM and have a magically marvelous day!

“Yes, Beanie, yes!” Danni cheered at the revelation that the ward was down. Whatever Wiccan did to him left him feeling like he was coming down with something and he did not care for it one bit. But, as always, Dorian was there to make it all better and Danni felt himself bound back like nothing was ever wrong. He did a little flip in excitement and then he was ready to return the favor.

Danni wasn't just going to sling fire. No, no, no. Wiccan wanted him to be a little off, yeah? “A little payback's in order, I t'ink! Let's see ‘ow well you cast after t'is!” Danni let off one, two shots that even with Percy adding in a little “And your costume looks like the Temu Scarlet Witch!” to keep him on his toes, flew wide on opposite ends. But Danni got the rhythm (why was Wiccan's mouth so small, jeez!) and just as the spellcaster opened his mouth to retort, Danni landed a bolt of fire right on his tongue.

“Am I good or am.I-” Danni whipped around to consider Patriot closely as he was shouted at. Did Patriot really wanna to call him out? To where? They hadn't ever interacted so… Danni gasped and giggled excitedly. “I mean, t'at's pretty bold ta ask out ‘ere in t'e competition, bit you do look really good in your uniform…” Danni beamed and swooped in a little closer. “I love t'e vibe so I am so down! You wanna do like a picnic at city park tomorrow or actually, t'e day after. Might need a day to recover, ya know? I can bring t'e food, you bring t'e fun-well, I'm always fun so ya know I've got t'at covered too- and we can ‘ang out! Unless you ‘ave plans and t'en I’m totally down!”

The shadows rolled and roiled beneath the power of Annika's magic. The bar seemed unmoved and then two creatures pulled themselves out of Annika's shadow: a terrier and a bunny. The edges of them blurred and shifted and before they even had a moment, they duplicated and now two terriers and two bunnies sniffed the air. The edges of all four still quivered.

Dysphoria's eyes hooded as the spot of red appeared on Finley's neck and the gentle caress turned to something far more dangerous, the sharpness beneath their chin sending thrilling chills through them. The warmth of Cal's touches on Finley's skin made a sensual contrast and Dysphoria leaned into the tantalizing promise. “All of them, sweet dragon. I want to drink you dry of them, lay you bare and open and feast. See how pretty you are wrapped up in my Darling. A tendril dipped beneath Finley's outfit, stroking possessively along the crease of their thigh, and another curled up their neck to chase the bright sting of Cal's bite.

For Willow, the Haven shattered. A window impacted, a bottle smashed, a jewel crushed - for better or for worse, Willow is at the mercy of her magic. In the broken pieces other places play, music weaves through the darkness both morose and joyous, and glimmering pieces of lives surround her in piles. The one that catches her attention is a woman burning at the stake, a devil rearing out of the flames and spitting gouts of flame on soldiers and citizens alike. The smell of burned flesh permeates the air and in Willow's bones, she knows her world has ended.

For Cassie, the bodies were never out of sight; horrible, mutilated, and drained of blood, they crawled their way towards her from the other side of the wall. They creaked, squelched, and screamed as they shoved themselves into holes between the threads but they settled there and the wall became whole once more. However, a nuisance of a tingle formed in her throat and she could still hear someone, something whispering sweet nothings in her ear.

For Cal, the urge to shift was overwhelming. The dragon pushed and pushed. It would be so easy to change, to horde these creatures he loves, to keep them to himself forever.

For Finley, the moths danced away and left nothing behind. Being caught between two safe people lowered their guard, Cal and Dys whispering and playing around them, but the touches felt distant and beneath the warmth, a chilling fear spread: Your Lady was coming.

For Jake, the bubbles subsided and his voice returned, but a mounting pressure grew behind his face. It started as a minor bother but threatened to become far more painful if he didn't sneeze.

Alfonse just laughed at Barty's predictable answer and then picked up the tray Milthza set with glasses of water. “Everyone take a glass. People who enjoyed the game please take two.”

If Danni was excited for the semi-finals, he was practically salivating for this match. The Young Avengers, the pinnacle of power and the pride and job of their school, would be bringing their all to bear against them, the rag-tag team of underdogs. Danni could barely keep the flickering of flames around him under control as they took the field and he stared across at the last obstacle to his, and April's and Dorian's, dream of winning this whole thing.

Hawkeye II, Speed, Stature, Patriot, Miss America, Hulkling, Wiccan.

Danni beamed up at his family, giving an exaggerated wave and beaming and bouncing on his feet as he grabbed their attention, before he snapped back to attention. “W'at t'e-! I look away for five seconds! I just wanted ta day ‘i ta t'e fam!” Danni shrieked as Miss America absolutely decked Leah and Hulkling followed up, doing his best to craft a custom crater for Leah. He nearly hit the air when Stature popped up from nowhere but the awkward whiz of a plunger arrow reminded him why he couldn't do that yet.

“Beanie, we are definitely doin’ facials after we win. Who knows where t'at plunger ‘as been and we can't be ‘avin’ breakouts.” Danni shuddered at the thought and he returned the favor, lining up his finger gun and fired off a HotShot that sped with perfect accuracy with Beanie's power poured into it and crashed into the bow, ruining it. Danni blew the tips of his fingers obnoxiously and flipped into the air with ease. “Sorry ‘bout your bow, but we can't ‘ave breakouts durin’ pictures after all t'is! And please don't use t'e plunger arrows; t'ey're kinda gross! You're still super cool t'ough!” Danni yelled across the field, flashing a thumbs up at Hawkeye II, and with Beanie protecting herself and Princess, Leah was the next in danger.

A swirl of his fingers made a hazy dome around Hulkling and Miss America, more the idea of fire really, so Danni huffed. “Let's turn up t’e ‘eat, baby!” Danni cheered and it all but exploded, a boiling ball of fire separating the two brawlers from everyone else.

@Kirah See below for my character sheet!

“My pleasure as always, Rohan. If you'd like another cup, let me know before you finish. It's on strict orders to be a pour over only so it'll take some time to make.” Alfonse left the paper he'd read off for Rohan's reference, neat, tidy, and tiny cursive, and slid up next to Barty, scanning everyone's drink before laughing under his breath. “Just admit you're lazy and like to boss people around.” He shot back at Barty.

Nicholas watched as people partook, satisfied with the ease the new people dipped into the… game. Rohan and Connie were to be expected and while the AV member attended the school, he meant very little to Nicholas at all so hadn't been sure what to expect. A wet blanket, clearly. How disappointing. But, Nicholas supposed all these new ones were disappointing in the end. Still…

Nicholas watched bubbles drift from Not-Marcus's mouth and it took genuine effort not to gawk. The true nature of his party favors may have been obfuscated; however, none of them should produce an effect like that. They didn't provide low quality magical trinkets and while peons may find this strange twist of fate amusing, Nicholas did not like the unexpected. Everything was in order, neat and clean, and arranged so that they couldn't be caught off guard. If one candy had been compromised, what else was going to happen?

Mithza didn't bother hiding her confusion as Jake spit out bubbles. “That's a new one. Didn't realize we'd rotated the stock already. People are gunna fucking love that shit for like two days, you know.” Mithza shrugged at Jake's predicament, batting away an errant bubble.

Everything was muted - he felt the pressure of a thousand people screaming, cheering, celebrating and the distant noise barely made him blink. He felt somewhere else as he stared at the electronic banner. The crowd could be cheering, booing, throwing tomatoes or flowers, and Danni wouldn't know. For now, he only had eyes for the electronic banner -

Young Avengers versus Excelsior.

He could feel his eyes stinging. This was everything Dorian, April, and he had worked for over the past few years. They'd won the semi-finals, beat a team everyone had been convinced would wipe the floor with Excelisor, and now Danni was staring at the promise of the chance to make their dream come true. People thought it was crazy with how great the Young Avengers were, some nothing team crushing the reigning champs sounded crazy to anyone.

“We won.” Danni murmured. He touched his cheek where the tears left tracks and he stared at it like he didn't know what tears were. He registered everything behind him distantly, struggling to process.

It was Leah that broke him out. The distant, stoic, uncertain mountain of a person who found personal expression the greatest offense and harbored an aggressive allergy to emotion exploded with a delight as intense as Danni's own and he watched her with awe. His eyes widened as her enthusiasm finally made this real.

They'd won.

“We won. We won. We won. We…” He didn't bother holding it back. Fire burst all around him, his own fireworks, and he rode the high racing through him. He did a little spiral in the air, all the noise hitting him at once, and he blew kisses into the crowd at everyone he could before letting the fire settle and free fall with a delighted screech, kicking up at full speed as his team hit the showers.

Unfortunately, he had little care for what happened next as he barreled directly into Andy and ended up in a tangled heap, laughing.

“‘oly… Guys we won! T'ey all t'ought t'ey were gunna kick our butts but instead, we ‘hammered t'em inta t'e ground! Omg, we're t'e best and we're gunna fight t'e Young Avengers!!! I can't wait! Imma cook all t'e best stuff when we get ‘ome! Not'in’ too fancy ‘cause we need ta sleep too and sleepin’ on a ‘heavy stomach is bad for ya skin, did you know t'at, and then we have- We won!!!!” Danni laughed as he squeezed Andy as hard as he could.

“I will also drink the Bush!” Dysphoria declared, eager to enjoy their Darlin’ favorite. Did they need to technically? No. But Dysphora had become quite partial to the drink when more chocolate had been added to it. Dysphoria dipped down to lap at the drink like a cat before their attention was snatched away by a fluttering curiosity.

“Does the littlest one protect you?” Dysphoria asked Willow, stretching out to look closer at Luna. “My time here has said bugs need to be squashed. Weak little things that like to bite and eat. Is this one not so weak?”

“Not even five feet from the bar and you can't be bothered to get your own drink.” Alfonse clicked his tongue and shook his head even as he complied with Barty's demand, drink settled neatly in his hand as Alfonse picked up the last drink that hadn't been passed out yet. “Old age finally catching up with you?” The server teased. He picked up a comfortable mug and took off the wooden covering. Steam wanted out and shortly after the bold aroma of fresh coffee. He placed it at Rohan's elbow before reading off a small slip of paper.

“Slow roasted in small batches by hand, this blend is a mix of a modern catimor variety grown in the southern coffee regions of China and a traditional African coffee variety meant to highlight the former's cherry and plum notes. It's higher acidity also means the flavor fades quicker but has a smoother mouth feel.”

”Now why would I bother doing such a thing when I have someone as precious as you to aid me in my requests? Besides, I brew the contents, I don’t pour them. “ Barty responded to Alfonse as his eyes looked over the rim of the glass at him before finally taking a sip of his personal stash of scotch. Letting the flavour wash over him as he enjoyed the gone aged liquor before deigning to respond to Rohan. Watching as his brother prepared to cut in with their ‘fun' idea. ”Oh, it'll be much quicker than an hour I'd say.”

Mithza offered Willow a half smile. “Course we got that. Bosses would have our heads if we didn't offer all the common drinks. This your first time sippin’ on the good stuff or you just feeling a little down to earth today?” The bartender asked. With a flick of her finger, a glass neatly skidded across the bar and stopped just in time as Milthza fetched a pitcher of dark red sangria, oranges and lemons and pears floating in it, and poured while turning her attention to Annika.

“You still interested in a mocktail? I got most things available. Little Connie right there always wants a mocktail too. You seem like a pineapple gal - how's a Deep Isle sound? Lemon-lime, pineapple juice, blue curacao syrup, and a splash o’ grenadine.” Milthza offered, pushing the sangria to Willow once it was full. “You enjoy the Sangria and let me know if you need anything else now.”

Nicholas watched as people began to chit chat and split, side eyeing Jake as he exclaimed about a game or some nonsense. He was not comfortable with that one still, the uncanny resemblance off putting, but they'd all walked perfectly into his magic and this was the best place to try and bait this thing into revealing his true intentions. Originally, this was meant to be a spot of harmless fun - maybe get a little blackmail, see who they could exploit in the future and who to avoid, but now there was a shiny, new target.

“A game is certainly on the table, but what fun would it be without a little magic?” Nicholas cut into the conversation as he passed behind the bar. He picked up the small jar of candies and shook it gently. There were a variety of options: some green and purple, others a faint orange with seemingly liquid centers, a pyramidal one that shimmered like a rainbow. “Although the specifics of afterwards are intentionally hazy, an ice breaker isn't far off. What I have here is a-”

Barty stepped forward, tapping his finger against the glass jar with his fingernail. ” Magnificently Magical Ménagerie of Morsels! To help ease the tension and slip smoothly into our lovely icebreakers.” He added before looking towards his brother.

Nicholas gave his brother a long unamused stare before deciding not to comment on that atrocity. “Right. Rather than fishing for some inane, pointless tidbit about ourselves, we figure a touch of guidance towards something more personal was in order. All you have to do is follow the flow as conversation rolls. This way, everyone is on equal ground, new faces and old. But what is a game without a twist?” Nicholas opened the jar, handing off the lid to Alfonse, and placed it on the bar top. “You don't get to choose your candy. Someone else must offer you one. Barty, if you would be so kind?”

Barty reached into the glass jar, plucking out a mint green disk, before walking towards Cal. He placed it between his own teeth, leaning in to see if Cal would accept the treat with a kiss.

Ava fully stopped where she was sprinting after Percy, even Thuy's disappearance going unnoticed as she stared at Wil. “Percival? Isn't his name Percy? Where did that come from?” Ava questioned, staring at Wil like they'd grown a third head.

“Does it fucking matter?! It just us and we're about to get fucked!” Tatiana shouted at her, throwing a haphazard punch at Percy and another at Leah. “Wil, try to shake that bitch out of there! Kinda need your help here! This freak of nature is going to split my head open. I am not meant to be throwing hands with a pile of concrete!”

“Ah fuck.” Skyler roused, the medicine bringing him to consciousness and he groaned as he stretched. His spine popped repeatedly. “Damn, gonna feel this for a while. Good game! It was wicked! We should totally do it again.” He flashed Sabine and April a thumbs up and popped out of his bed, shuffling around the pair to check on Prudence.

Whispers and shadows crawled up and over the walls from Thuy's body. “Hi, hello, maybe focus on the bindings before the injuries? Bitch wont stay dead even if we try but if that gets any worse, we're getting sucked into a hellscape and dealing with Thelma getting mind fucked is going to be enough of one later. So please.” Skyler joked, only half serious, as he popped up on Prudence's bed, rubbing his hand along her back soothingly and turned his attention to the AA folk. “So, you all coming to the celebration after the final match? We always throw a kickass party regardless who wins! All the teams except the discount Avengers are invited.”
