She has helped mortals with love and fertility, leading them to the creation of life. She is the one that has protected mothers as they carry and breathes life into every child born so they can take their first breath. It is said that her protection can even reach beyond those of mothers and in the past she was called upon by soldiers for her strength and concentration during battle but she will not confirm or deny these facts. Her protection does however extend beyond the living as she welcomes souls into the land of the dead, helping and protecting them on their journey into the afterlife or onto judgement. Due to her being feminine in nature, Hathor’s sphere of influence included music, dance, and sexuality. Those features of hers has also made her the consort of several Egyptian Gods but only one held her heart, Ra himself. Another very important point worth mentioning is that she was one of the numerous deities that was seen as the Eye of Ra, i.e. the feminine component of Ra. In that state, Hathor was the deity that kept Ra safe from his enemies. It also brought out the other side of her, one dark, vicious, and blood-thristy. She did not only punish and bring destruction to those that had threatened Ra but went on a rampage which needed to be stopped by her fellow Gods and Goddesses. There are two sides to every coin and she is very much the holder of this truth. Unfortunately, on a more personal level, Hathor’s love and affection went unanswered because of this same fact. While Ra had promised her the world and to be by his side as his wife, upon seeing certain aspects of her character and with Isis in his ear and openly displaying her attraction, he instead married the other goddess. Hathor was left with a broken hearted but still feeling the need to protect him as she had been made for him and by him. This left her conflicted, angry, hopeful, and saddened though fate seems to be kind in its punishment as he was betrayed by Isis. Set up with a trick to harm him and have his true name revealed (one Hathor never had been blessed with knowing) which give Isis more power. This chain of events lead to Osiris and her rise. It even became where Isis took away Hathor’s followers, the domains that were hers to be shared with this snake of a goddess, and even before their fall this was the start to making her forgotten. A relic of a different time. ██████████████████████ 𝐁 𝐢 𝐨 𝐠 𝐫 𝐚 𝐩 𝐡 𝐲   𝐁 𝐢 𝐨 𝐠 𝐫 𝐚 𝐩 𝐡 𝐲 ⌜ м σ я т α ℓ ℓ ι f є ⌟ ♉︎ Memories fade, different moments blurring and becoming insignificant with the passage of time but the important moments, the ones that change you…those stick forever. The fall was one such event that even through the years has not faded, still sharp as day it happened when recollected. I believed it to be a punishment back then, Isis and her lovers last slight against everyone that stood a chance to be in their way on the rise to power. It hurt being forced to the mortal realm instead of going by choice, cast out as it were but worse pain had been inflicted long before that moment. I felt an anger that this was all my time had amounted to before the death I believed would follow upon my descent. In fact it was not the end, but a new beginning, a start to walking among the mortals and partially experiencing their world. I was still a goddess in their eyes, recognized from the one day of the year my physical presence was shown, the drunken festival though obviously a bit of a difference with lacking certain features. I was lavished on hand and foot, gracing the pharaohs and palace with my very presence. Isis' power grew and so did her influence but my being physically within reach made it easier to pray or wish for blessing. My heart wept and when alone, so did my eyes, for I could not do more, my power was limited for them. Isis was truly taking up my true role as far as I knew and while I helped medically as much as possible, it didn’t feel like enough for what I was receiving. That was my first venture from my home land, leaving towards something new. It was selfish to run instead of speaking of concern but I was not yet acquainted with admitting imperfection and believed mortals could not understand the complexity of a goddess's emotions though they were truly not so different in many ways. At least I feel relieved that I passed on great knowledge for future generations before my departure. The mortals have a saying that seems universal, time heals all wounds. It is not something I have yet to find true. It sits like a festering wound, always ready to bleed at the most inopportune moment. If anything, I would state that time adjusts pain to become manageable, so constant that one gets used to its presence. That is what kept appearing with each new location, each failure for the times I tried to settle down or put full trust in the mortals. It wasn’t their fault, having so limited time and trying to learn what is the right move or finding a good way for themselves. They didn’t call it the sins of man for nothing but it left me far less hopeful in placing hope in them. Friendships, those were not so bad though caused a different kind of heartbreak. I went from healing, to playing house, to a spiral of drunkenness, falling into criminal work, and trying new activities to pique my interests or make me feel fulfilled. The times continued to evolve around me and as they changed, so did I. I adapted to the world around me and made sure that I was in locations that went best with the time, avoiding those that seemed troublesome unless I was able to be of assistance without much gawking. Some professions I revisited, mostly being a business owner, a doctor, part of the mafia, or a bartender as those played off of many of my needs that long ago were no longer needed of me as I became a legend or myth. I formed friendships with those like me, others that could understand my pain and also be comforted from my own understanding. They soothe aches and pain on my soul and I will forever be grateful for that. Not all past memories have been bad, some people and points in time being more precious than others. They are the memories I cherish, the ones that are sharply there and won’t fade even if sometimes it would be better if they did. ██████████████████████ 𝐌 𝐨 𝐭 𝐢 𝐯 𝐚 𝐭 𝐢 𝐨 𝐧 𝐬   𝐌 𝐨 𝐭 𝐢 𝐯 𝐚 𝐭 𝐢 𝐨 𝐧 𝐬 ⌜ α м в ι т ι σ и ѕ ⌟ ♉︎ While a part of her misses her old life…right now, she feels lost. The freedom to have fun and not worry about the multitude of ever changing duties expected of her is nice but now she feels like she is wandering with no purpose. She wants to find purpose, find a place to belong, to not be forgotten and to be loved. It sounds silly and broad in the scheme of things but that is what she truly strives for. ⌜ f є α я ѕ ⌟ ♉︎ She fears the past repeating itself as in being left alone, forgotten, and a nuisance to those of her pantheon. That the friends she has made will be forced against her or their pantheons will not approve of her which will have her pushed away. She also fears that will always be the one to support everyone else and never be able to really care for herself as she leans on bad habits to push her own problems aside. She has moments she is confident but when it comes to the important things, the past haunts her and then she begins to falter in the present.

The Korean spicy noodle challenge might as well be a damn cake walk! ✔ As surprising as it may seem due to her personality, she loves to do yoga and tries to make a habit of doing so often. She is blunt and direct, clearly speaking her mind and views on a situation. She isn’t inconsiderate enough not to listen to others opinions but when she is wrong, don’t expect to ever admit that she was because she can be as stubborn as a mule when she wants to be. She believes in her abilities and who she is as a person. What people see is what they get and she won’t be sorry for that. Yes, she might not admit to faults when they are found but she will roll with the punches and has faith she will come out on top. She has no problem backing others up, being their pillar of strength, trying to boost their own confidence, giving them extremely honest advice, or trying to encourage them to achieve. This is where the more optimistic side of her personality shows. That being said, while she is kind in her own way...she hides her own fear or worry behind anger or sass since she doesn’t know how to express herself. This shows a fiery personality but actually it’s a nicer way of saying Jordan is a complete hothead and kind of a bitch at times. She is quick to snap and get irritable, even more so when people try to tell her what to do. It has always been her weak point. She often tries to prove herself but in a lazy fast pace sort of way which makes her jump into bad decisions which bordered on the edge of childishness or steps on the people’s toes without realizing at first. It wasn’t as bad when she was younger but the hurt of the past made it easier to push people away than to let them close. She isn’t heartless, she knows when she has crossed a line but sadly, she struggles with knowing when to keep her trap shut, not letting a snarky or rude comment out. She just has a gift of getting under people’s skin. She is like a wild dog in your corner if she cares about you but it doesn’t mean she won’t still bite you during certain times. She will never abandon anyone or the things she views as important no matter what. Even if it is something she would rather not do or thinks to be crazy, if the person has her loyalty she will follow to the end of the earth. She will be likely to clock someone in the face if they want to try and if she sees it happening to others then she will stand up for them. ____________________________________________________________________________ P E R S O N A L I T Y Protective | Calm | Honest | Witty | Perfectionist | Indecisive | Charming Nothing is quite what it seems and that could be said about Charlotte. At first glance, most think she is a confident woman who is brimming with optimism and always carrying a smile as if nothing in the world can bother her. In truth, she has been miserable for a long time and has only recently begun to change and be more herself than the perfect, elegant, and touch wild person that has been presented to the public. Even upon inspection it is hard to see where the acting starts and where her real personality begins since she has done it for so long. It might even be a mix of both at this point with no way for her to answer what is what. If approached, she used to simply state that everything is ‘fine’ or even play dumb like she doesn’t understand why you have asked her if something is wrong. The new found freedom has brought a bit of more of a childish and fiery nature since she can finally express herself instead of feeling chained down or having to keep up appearances. She is most brilliantly alive when speaking of her art/designs and it is one of the many times you see the bubbly and even childish side of her personality shine through. It also shows up a bit when she is excited and eager for something though that is much easier for her to stifle then when talking about her passions. Most would still usually describe Charlotte as calm and collected since she is always the level headed one and plays peacekeeper when conflict arises. She makes sure to look at everything from all angles and comes up with compromises from both sides. This is mostly because she wants to help everyone get along but she also can’t stand yelling or screaming and would rather come up with a way to stop it. If the problem gets too out of hand, she will most likely back off and let other stronger personalities handle it since it shakes her to the core depending on the situation. Charlotte is careful on who she lets close and has trouble keeping those around her that want to be closer because of how guarded she is. She has scars on her soul from the past which makes it hard to share how she is feeling or at least when she thinks the other will view negatively. She is extremely loyal and protective of those that have gotten through her barriers and have stuck around for the long hall. She is learning to be more naturally confident in her own choices instead of putting on a mask or a smile and going with the flow even if it is something she is against. This might mean she is more brutally honest and while she will give a flustered apology if the person seems upset, sometimes she is oblivious and will just call it as she sees it. Luckily, she still knows how to lay on the charm and smooth things over if she gets into trouble. She can be frustratingly indecisive, seeming to have a hard time making up her mind or going after the things she wants. She has doubts and is still trying to figure herself out. Charlotte does have a good sense of humor though and usually puts it to use in an awkward situation. She can be witty and is good at making a pun or being a joke if it makes someone else smile or stops an escalating problem. Ultimately, she is a very contradictory person so it is hard to know where anything stands with her. ____________________________________________________________________________ B I O G R A P H Y Priscilla and Gabriel are not the best of people or parents, each with their own sins. The two were caught in a whirlwind romance, rushing into marriage, and not even three months later were pregnant, expecting Charlotte’s older brother Matthew. They were the picture of the perfect family at first but the more her father’s fashion name grew, the more he buried into his work and the two became more distant. It became to the point they were more like roommates than a loving couple. In the end, Gabriel ended up cheating and sneaking around but guilt ate at him for what he had done. He started showering his wife with attention and being a more active positive presence in his son’s life, trying to turn over a new leaf and appreciate what he had but the damage was done. The other woman had her teeth sunk in and threatened to ruin his marriage and even his image. It was unfortunate for Charlotte that Priscilla announced her second pregnancy around the same time because suddenly she had a very distant husband yet again, even more so than before. She thought that the reaction was because the baby was unwanted but doing maybe the only kindness she ever showed, she decided to keep Charlotte. She was determined that after the little bundle of joy was born, he would change his mind and that it was just cold feet. Instead, things continued the same so Priscilla had a new idea. She would make sure that everything Charlotte did was perfect and flawless. They would be the perfect happy family and she would be the one to fix it. Yeah, no pressure. She was treated more like a doll than really a daughter as her mother pushed her father to branch out the business so children and toddlers so Charlotte could model, after all it was expected of Matthew to take on the family business and had been conditioned as such much against his will so why not make Charlotte a vital part as well? Gabriel couldn’t really argue and he caved to Priscilla’s whims, letting her do as she pleased out of guilt and feeling like he owed the one person who helped him get going at his lowest point. The one who saw value in him when no one else cared. She became the poster child for the company and in the public eye, everything was perfect once again but behind curtains, still nothing was changed. It was then that Charlotte was forced into dance, playing instruments, pageants, and making sure she did nothing to embarrass her father with any out of turn manners. Basically, she was not allowed to be a child at all. The few times she got to have normal childhood moments were with her friends, at least when she was away from the house or when her brother became a buffer or would do sweet things with her like make wishes on dandelions of how they wanted things to be. These moments with her brother were few and far inbetween but Matthew was in his own world most of the time, trying to numb himself from the problems in their home. Sadly, when she was around nine, her mother finally found out about the cheating. This was apparent since that was the first time her mother took it out on her while being drunk as a skunk as she got the blame for some odd reason, maybe because Priscilla didn’t want to blame herself. Gabriel and Pricilla started fighting every moment, a toxic and horrid relationship forming since neither one wanted to leave, feeling like it would be an embarrassment/scandal, the whole what would people think. Her father became completely nonexistent at home and with Matthew moved out, being forced into college for a degree he hated, she was left alone with just her mother. She was pulled from school, away from her friends and everything that gave her freedom to be stuck in hell. The verbal and physical abuse just got worse as the years continued and unique punishments with threats to follow. Charlotte believed her father didn’t want her, that she was alone with no one to care about her, and her brother left in the dark about what was happening. It was far too late by the time her brother found out about what was happening, having his own secrets as to how to bear with the pressure set on him with no choices. Still, he tried to get Charlotte out by planning to have her move in with him and even getting her set up on his apartment rental as well as getting her set for public school nearby. Right as they worked on a plan to slip her from out of her mother’s grasp, her brother took his habits too far and lost his life. Her mother mourned, secrets of all kinds came to light, and Charlotte was done with it. She took the last gifts her brother gave her to have a hope at a normal life. Her mother tried to stop her but had little power to do so as her father actually backed her up, though she was more than a little suspicious it was just to have another company heir. She took over Matthew’s apartment, avoided her mother like the plague over the summer, and her father tried to make it up to her but Charlotte felt like it was too little to late since if he had just been home or cared to check in, maybe she would have been saved a lot of personal issues and hardship. Her mother still thinks she has done nothing wrong, saying that she should be grateful for the fine upbringing and that she was given everything. Charlotte is most looking forward to having a normal life with the freedom she has been given. She limited her time modeling just so she could focus on schooling and being a normal senior.
