Wouldn't be that immediate, as while Pomerania does depend upon the CE for food type resources, they have enough production capability on their planets to keep them stable long enough to find someone else to replace them. Stockpiles exist, as does domestic production, so the revocation of the CE's support would not be something immediately felt, even if complete control was held by the Empire =P

I was figuring as much, and I set up the current political situation in Pomerania with that in mind. It would be incredibly smart for the CE to have someone over there ASAP to try and ascertain the Red Queen's intentions and possible loyalties, as she's right now a complete wildcard. Does she support the independence of her nation? Does she support the continued rule of the CE? To what extent will she exercise her intent? What exactly does she intend to do with her power as queen? All of these are questions that the CE should be asking, and be quick to attempting to find out.

Why do people enjoy hardline military stuff in NRPs? Couldn't people be more original and make their nations unique via culture or tech or something? There's more way to conquer the galaxy than shooting everyone in a ten meter radius around you. >.>

Ah, you must be new to the genre. Welcome to Nation Roleplay. Most people in this genre typically have designs on either conquering their neighbors or literally everyone in the RP. Some might not, but feel the need to make their military better than everyone else's because if they don't they might be conquered. It's a rough place, but fear not, there are still those actually interested in driving a narrative, rather than a bullet through their fellow players.

In all seriousness, it is what it is. I don't particularly like the mega-military focused nations, but I have my reasons for my own. Namely being a plot point as the Pomeranians being used as enforcers for things the CE doesn't want to deal with themselves.

As a heads up, I'll be incorporating species from each power into my own nation. Not ALL of them, notably. If a particular species has a limited population, or is situated such that it would be difficult for members of their kind to exist in the wider galactic setting, chances are you won't see them. But I will be using, at a minimum, Humans, Ryujii, Skergians, and Imparans on top of the species I intend to make.
