Tbh, any album before Sempiternal was decent metalcore at best. I mean, "There is a Hell/Heaven" had some really interesting tracks on it, specifically "Anthem" and "DOn't Go", but I think Sempiternal was really where they started to grow. That's The Spirit was the first album that featured Oli singing and not growling like a bear.
