A P P E A R A N C E Built as one would expect a Son of Zeus to be built like, Abe imposes a half-muscular, half-lean figure. He doesn’t really stand too tall nor does he look like he’s a shrimp of some kind. For Abe, being the height of sixty-eight inches it plenty for him. He never wanted to be that tall; even growing up, when he knew that he might end up above-average, he never expressed any real interest to have a towering, vertical frame. Being the height that he is now is quite alright with the Son of Zeus. As far as weight is concerned, there is a nice ratio of height to weight with his being just above the 170lbs mark. Definitely enough for Abeto have a solid amount of muscle mass but not too much to where he looks like he is bulky like most would assume for the Son of the Lightning God.
They say that the Children of Zeus, for the most part, have blonde hair and blue eyes. While in legend that was true in the past, even for some in modern times, it is not true for Abe. His hair has the light brown shade of hazelnut; though there has been talks that his hair might actually be a form of dirty blonde. Regardless, there’s no doubting that he breaks the mold of Sons of Zeus. Furthering that is the lack of blue eyes. Instead, Abehas green eyes.
A T T I R E Clothing-wise, there’s a sense of grunge and punk about it. A lot of bright-colored shirts, mostly of his favorite bands, and shorts and jeans of many kinds. Shoes are usually sticking to converse and Vans brands. He’s very expressive in that regard. People don’t understand it for a Son of Zeus, but most just don’t question it. There is something quite unique that he wears. Through all of his faults, Zeus left Abea gift. It is a necklace that resembles Zeus’ own Lightning Bolt. Each time that he wears it, the emblem reacts to his blood, and emits a blue and purple glow. It’s quite faint. Many think it’s just an LED light within it or something. Only Zeus and Abe know what it really is.

The easy thing to assume about Abe would be that he’s an arrogant son of a god that demands respect because of who his father is. The easy thing to assume about Abe would be that he has a mean streak that is only rivaled by how sure of himself he is. The easy thing would to assume that he sleeps around whenever he gets the chance to.
And it’s easy to assume the truth. All of those things are true.
Okay, maybe not entirely, but the spirit of Zeus is there.
For one, there isn’t a lot of entitled arrogance inside Abe. If anything, it’s just a certain amount of confidence in himself. He knows that Zeus is the most arrogant of the Gods and Goddesses in Mount Olympus. He knows that Zeus expects him to act a certain way. Maybe a part of that plays a factor into the assurance that he has about himself. Maybe the moderate cockiness that Abe displays about certain things or in certain situations is the aspect of Zeus shining through him like a bolt of lightning illuminating the pitch blackness of the deepest regions of the Underworld.
Every child of Zeus is suspect to bouts of aggression. A common trait among those whom are the children of the alpha male Gods, there’s bound to be fits of aggression. Granted, Abe is an unique case because he is aggressive without realizing that he is. He’s always had anger problems even long before the reveal of him being the Son of Zeus came to light. Always thinking that it was because he had problems, Abe never thought it would have anything to do with his Godly parentage. Oh well. The bottom line is that he’ll sometimes have no control of when his fists will land on someone’s face. It’s no fault of his own even though he sometimes feels like it is.
Much like Zeus(god that’s starting to not sound okay to Abe), he is charismatic. Apparently he is able good with words. Maybe it’s how he emotes his words, or the surprisingly natural swagger that he has. It’s widely known he is the Son of Zeus, and it’s no mistake that Abe ended up being his son because, despite obvious differences(will get to that next paragraph), there seems to be a lot of overlying similarities, specifically those tendencies to flirt with females. It’s odd considering….
Abe and Zeus are at odds. The latter has high expectations for his son. He expects Abe to invoke his dominance upon everyone, especially those who aren’t Children of Zeus. He wants Abe to be authoritative, to assert his place as the top alpha male. Safe to say that Abe wasn’t having any of that. He didn’t like how he had to do all of that just because he was the Son of the Father of Gods and Men. He didn’t want to be tyrannous like his father. He didn’t want to be feared. By the Gods and Goddesses of Mount of Olympus, Abe wanted to actually be liked by his peers. Was that too much to ask for? Well, apparently it was since Zeus expressed his disappointment in Abe. What else is new?
Corresponding with his need to defy his father even further, Abe goes out of hsi way to help anyone in need. It doesn’t matter if it’s his sister, friends he made just to spite Zeus, or even random people he sees around the academy. Some would call it a version of the Zeus Reachout Program, but it’s really Abe showing that he’s not going to be like the rest of his brothers and sisters. He won’t give into those constant urges that every Zeus child faces with asserting dominance, and making sure every single person in the room knows that you’re in charge. He just won’t be that kind of guy, not if he can help it, that is.
Something that goes hand-in-hand with this kindness is honesty. Taken from Abraham Lincoln, people often dubbed him “Honest Abe”, mainly for the fact that the Son of Zeus tells it like it is. Sometimes he’ll sugarcoat it, mainly because he won’t feel like being blunt. Now granted, he does have times where he is a bit too honest. That’s not through a fault within him. It’s the Zeus in him breaking out. It’s the part that wants to be mean, that wants to declare authority over all, but the wayward son doesn’t allow it to go any further. Still with all that being so, Abe is well-aware that sometimes he’s too honest. There have been times where people have told him that exact thing. It’s something that he’s working on, but it’s also something that he might not be able to control due to reasons already explained.
B I O G R A P H YYou’ve heard this story a thousand times: lucky - or depending on the perspective - unlucky deity or mortal woman gets courted by the mighty Father of Gods and Men, the mighty God of the Skies, Zeus himself. This guy who is known for courting many women, both of deity status and mortal origin. Considering there have been several accounts of Zeus’ intimate activities, it wouldn’t be totally outlandish that, in these modern times, Zeus would mate with a mortal woman. As far as history dates back, he did it countless times, so why change his ways now?
And thus what brings us to Abe’s conception. His mother, Alice Danielle Rothschild, a daughter of two politicians. Both of them republicans. Like Abe would become, Alice defied both her parents and went into politics as a democrat. She ran for the position of Governor of California. Leading her campaign with the slogan, “Let’s Fix it Together”. With that, she led the Democratic Nomination against Jerry Brown’s re-election. Both had similar goals: to make California Great Again. Jerry wanted to focus on improving the social and health care aspect of California, while Alice was focusing on improving the economical state of California,. Alice led her debate with a strong front, and when it came to the debates, the rallies, and the campaign as a whole was led by her strong, assertive personality that always stuck to the truth. Her campaign was also ruthless, often citing that Jerry Brown made a lot of the wrong choices, which was true. That led to her eventual landslide victory in the primary election.
This got her all sorts of attention. People wanted to be her friend, they wanted to make her know that she had friends in Sacramento. Among those people, was a certain reddish-blonde-haired, blue-eyed Englishman that also extended an olive branch to her. When she saw this man, the way he looked in his dark purple suit with a golden tie, the way that his strawberry blonde hair was combed back, and the sapphire blue eyes that had her captivated her as soon as she saw him. Either it was heavy infatuation or a premature love at first sigh. Whichever case it was, safe to say that he had her attention.
After an initial dinner, they spent a few weeks after the fact engaging in what could only be described as three weeks of passion. This man, whom she has barely known, took her on a wild ride, exposing her to things that she didn’t know still existed. There was a side in her that came to life every time he touched her, every time that she felt his fingers on her body, this part of her that knew it was outrageous for her to feel this way for a man that she just met; and yet, Alice couldn’t help herself. The way he made her feel in those few weeks was more excitement, more exhilleration that she had ever felt from any man that she had been with up until her thirty years at that point. She mentally prepared herself to spend as many months as she could get from him.
But it wouldn’t be the case.
The bliss ended abruptly, the man known to her as Zeus, was gone on the last night they spent with each other. It was on that night he told her of who he was. He told her that he was Zeus, God of the Skies, and that in nine months, she would birth his son. His name would be Zachariah, named after her father, and Abraham of the Biblical Abraham. He told her that he will grace her with five favors from now until the child she carried in her belly was fifteen years old. It covered anything and everything. It didn’t matter what she wanted, but only five in the next sixteen years. The last thing he told her was that, on his sixteenth birthday, Abe will be enrolled into Olympus Academy, a school dedicated to those that share blood of the Gods and Goddesses of Mount Olympus. He would go there, and learn to harness his abilities bestowed upon him from Zeus. Before he left her, he gave her one last gift: a necklace that was to give to Abe when he turned ten. It was a necklace that had the emblem of his Lightning Bolt. The metal to make the necklace was a special one crafted on Mount Olympus. When the time was right, he would know exactly what it was.
After all of that was told to her, Zeus disappeared, only appearing when the she would use those “Favors” he granted her; an all five were used over the years. When he reached the age of sixteen, Alice kept her promise. Buying him a new car using the funds she received as part of her new job, and he left for Olympus Academy where he has been a student at for five years now... E X T R AThe Arrogant PrickZeus. c:

He commands thunder and lightning at his behest. All-powerful, almighty, he strikes down his enemies with great vengeance and furious anger, for he is just and his word is law.
R E L A T I O N S H I P W I T H G O D L Y P A R E N T:It’s not good, that’s for sure. A lot of strain put on it, with Zeus being his usual dickish, superior self, and Abe not wanting to end up like Zeus. Due to that, Zeus sees him as a disappointment, and Abe secretly longs for his father’s approval. That’s life, but still really sucks.
G O D L Y A B I L I T I E SElectrokinesis: Mastery Level - AdvancedThis is the ability that all children of Zeus know how to use. It is the ability to create, shape, and manipulate electricity, a form of energy resulting from the movement of charged particles such as electrons and protons, that allows control over electric fields, all charge carriers(Ions, Electrons, Protons, and Positrons), and electromagnetic forces.
Electric Aura

Abe is capable in engulfing his body in an electrical aura for protection as well as a boost to his offensive capabilities. Aesthetically, Abe's aura is comprised of two parts, a purple inner aura and a golden outer aura. In terms of offensive abilities, Abe can channel the electricity in the aura to fire bursts of lightning no larger than basketballs. These strikes however, while shocking, are still weaker than a standard taser blast and are by no means capable of knocking out an opponent in one hit. Not to mention they are definitely slower than an actual lightning bolt, still repeated hits will definitely cause damage, so it’s typically in one’s best interest to avoid getting hit.
In addition, the electromagnetic properties of Abe’s aura allow him to attract ferromagnetic metals towards him by jerking his arms. While powerful sounding on the surface, Abe’s magnetic powers are relatively underdeveloped and come with a few limitations. First and foremost, larger objects take a far greater toll out of him and can quickly tire him out, not to mention any object moving in a direction contrary to the one Abe wishes to pull it in will also be more taxing. In addition, Abe can only attract objects towards him and thus lacks the control to manipulate the direction, in addition simply stopping his attraction isn’t enough to stop an object since an object will maintain inertia. He does have some control over the strength of attraction however and thus can manipulate the original speed someone, nevertheless, by the nature of his powers, as objects near him they will speed up.
Defensively, the aura protects Abe from many weaker attacks, but sufficient finesse, an unending onslaught, attacks or even brute force is more than capable of breaking through and hurting Abe. Not to mention, as the aura is fueled by Abe’s own focus and energy, the longer a battle wears on, or the more he abuses his other powers, the weaker his aura will become until it eventually dissipates. Abe’s aura merely dampens the force of physical attacks and thus he’ll still get hurt by repeated hits. If Abe’s aura is completely broken through, either by enough wear and tear, brute force, or some sort of elemental nullification like large amounts of water, it won’t return until Abe manages to successfully gain his focus back. In addition it won’t come back nearly as strong as before and eventually it’s effects will be negligible.
Aerokinesis is the ability to manipulate, create, and shape air, the common name given to the layer of atmsphereic gasses and various compounds(mostly oxygen and nitrogen) surrounding the planet Earth that is retained by Earth’s gravity, and wind, the movement of all air relative to the surface of the planet. It is an important factor in determining and controlling climate and weather, and the generating force of most ocean and freshwater waves. Wind occurs because of the vertical and horizontal differences in atmopshereic pressure, and includes all kinds of breezes and other various forms of wind-based disasters.
This is an ability that children of Zeus exhibit, but probably not as well as him. When used, it can cause a mountain of disastrous effects. If strong enough, it has the potential to cause absolute hell for everyone on the opposite end. Gales, whirlwinds, gusts, squalls, hurricanes - all within the lines of a master. As it stands right now, however, Abe is far from reaching that point of mastery, that's for damn sure.
Air Generation
The short version is that he can generate wind around him, and manipulate it. The long version is that he has control of the generated air up until a point. He’s still relatively new in doing it, for sure. There are still a lot of areas with this ability that he just doesn’t have a grasp upon. That’s why he’s at the academy.
Atmokinesis: MAstery Level - BeginnerAtmokinesis is accumulation of all weather-based abilities such as air, water, electricity, and thermal. It’s the big daddy of weather abilities because it IS the ability to manipulate weather. Take that with waht you will, but a master of this ability is capable of so many feats that Zeus himself is probably one of the few people who have the power within his grasp. Even his children probably don’t have the strength to do it.Basic Control of the Weather
It’s there, yes. Abe can definitely use some aspects of the weather that’s associated with his air and electrical abilities, but on any scale wider than his arm’s reach? Nah, he has no skill there. He might even be worse with this ability than his sister, Cecily, and that’s saying something. Don’t expect him to have any kind of world-breaking capabilities here.
