-The morning after-
-Future Foundation HQ, Baxter Building-

Susan followed her father into the elevator. Johnny tagged behind, seemingly bored. "So what I'm saying is, this project could speed up scientific advancements in humans being finally able to travel light speeds without aging and even come home again. If Reed's father was working on this, he might have had a profound basis, on which the theory he was working on actually seems plausible." Sue rambled on and on until her father sighs as the elevator door beeps open at top floor. "Fine. I'll hear Reed's proposal and see if he's worth the money." He leaves the elevator and stops, turning to Sue. "This lad is not your boyfriend is he?" He asks outright, Sue blushes. "Nn-no Dad. He's not." Frank frowns. "Shame." He then strides towsrd his office to await Reed and Ben. Sue is left blinking with some thought. Johnny leans in. "He's a loser." Sue smacks him across the arm. "Loooooosseeeeerr." Johhny emphasises and wanders off around the office.

The large blond haired young man sat next to Reed as Reed nervously fiddled with his hands and the blueprint refolded into a square. "Sure hope you're okay for this Reed, you look like you're one step from vomiting since I picked you up." Ben noted pulling out his new Stark Tech phone, loading up a game on it so he wouldn't be bored trying to figure out the science talk Reed was no doubt about to drown the room in.

"Its okay... just a little worried is all." Reed stammered a bit leaning back in his chair. Having dressed for the occasion in something nice, simple collar shirt with freshly pressed pants. "After all just talking to Susan's dad. Who is like world renown and stuff, over something that could make or break me completely before I'm even legally able to drink." Reed's eye twitched just a little. "Yeah no problem. It's great, awesome...."

Before Reed could start hyperventilating though in came Dr. Franklin Storm. Susan was nearby along with her young brother Johnny. "Hi, heard plenty about you. I'm Franklin Storm." The doctor held out a hand which Reed shook ethuitastically. "Oh no its an honor sir. I'm a big fan of your work in temporal gravititional theories. It was a fasinating piece." Reed stopped himself and took a breath. "Sorry just a bit nervous."

"Its alright Reed, normally I wouldn't really give my time on heresy but Susan was completely sold on the idea. Plus your father and I go back years. So I am very interested in the idea. I'm sorry about what happened to him by the way. Real shame the science world had to lose such a brillant man." Dr. Franklin Storm's word in a strange way caused Reed to start to focus. This was his father he was talking about. Reed calmed his frantic, panicked brain down and got to the business at hand.

"Well Mr. Storm, first off this is Ben, his just here because I needed a ride." "Sup?" "Now getting onto the matter." Dr. Storm led Reed into his office with the others in tow. "Recently I was going through my father's old research. A lot of different things but this was by far the most interesting and I may suggest well thought out concept I found." Unfolding the blueprint Reed found a spot on Mr. Storm's desk and placed it down gently. Pulling out the small notebook from his back pocket with more on it. "Essentially the idea goes that by harnessing a possible counter dimension that exists. Which he called the 'negative zone'. It would be possible for things or people to be able to essentially use it to use it almost like opening a door from one end of it to another. Leading to an almost teleportation if you will. I'm not 100 percent sure about the finer points of it but if this works in theory you could use this to essentially go from New York to Japan in less time then it would take to log on to buy plane tickets!" Reed had practiced that speech all of the night before. So letting it all flow out was practically effortless as he pointed out details on the blueprint and letting Mr Storm see the notebook. "The power source for now is going to be an issue, and outside of any possible setback I think we could achieve a working prototype by the end of the year."

Ben, even in all his confusion of what exactly Reed talked about. Leaned over his friend's shoulder as he glanced at everything. The practical talk about it though he understood, and he raised his eyebrows in surprise. He knew Reed had something important for all this, having not been shown yet personally. This though, this was huge. "Wow, that is a thing alright." Ben noted a bit stunned by the idea.

Johnny stood there for a few moments. Susan gleefully listened to everything, like a moth to a flame, she was so hooked on science right now. "Woah......" Johnny's mind was blown. "Think of all the chicks we'd get Ben. If we made this thing a reality." Susan frowns at him. "THAT'S what you took from that?!" Dr Storm leaned back in his chair. "Hmmmm....very interesting. Alright, I'll give you kids a shot. I think Harvey Elder might be interested in this as well. Hold on let me call him in." As Franklin Storm went to make the phone call Ben quietly gave Johnny a thumbs up at the idea. Reed glancing back, "Ben, don't encourage him." He muttered before he watched Dr. Storm reached over to the phone. "Miss Lumpkins could you have Dr. Elder meet me up in my office please? Thank you."

Reed's eyes lit up at he realized after a moment that not only was this thing actually happening now, but THE Dr. Harvey Elder was possibly going to be involved too? Reed beamed a smile as he felt elated, all he could hope for, a chance to prove himself to the scientific community at large, that he belonged.

Susan looks at her Father with big eyes. "Harvey's going to be in on this too?" The two had practically grown up together as their fathers were best friends. Johnny facepalms. "Not another neeeerd." Sue kicks him under the table. "Ow..." He replies monotoned. "Harvey has a great mind. He'll compliment the team well. He's practically family!" She always thought of him as the older brother she never had - protective of her. And although their parents wanted Susan to be with Harvey romantically, he never felt that way about her, Susan likewise, now Reed however...

Reed glanced over at Susan a little hurt as she mentions Harvey being family. While he was thrilled to meet him he was a little saddened she never said anything about having known him before. It made him feel even a little... jealous? Soon though the feelings passed as the young English doctor walked in. He was around the foursome's age, about the same height as Reed. Slightly wavy brown hair that came to his chin and a natural charm to him that made Reed wonder if Johnny hated him only because he was a 'nerd' or something more.

"Dr. Elder this is Reed Richards, his the one who brought the project in today." Reed and Harvey shook hands with smiles. "Its great to finally meet the man Susan raves about. I was greatly influenced by your father's work, I'm very sorry to hear what had happened to him." Harvey told Reed who grimaced a bit at the mention of Nathan Richards. "Its okay, I'm over what happened..." Reed stated.

He wasn't.

"Still though its going to be great having you on this project. I've always been captivated by your research work." Reed pointed out, having spent many a nights reading Harvey's work. Ben chuckled a little to himself, enjoying Reed talk to a scientist with the same almost childlike glee as most other people would a celebrity or famous athlete.

Johnny stares at the both. "Just. Get a room." He remarks. Harvey shot him a look that he was about to kick him. Johnny brings both his legs upto his chest off the floor so that he couldnt get kicked anymore. "Johnny, be nice." His Father retorts at him, Johnny frowns. Sue folds her arms and raises an eyebrow at him, agreeing. "Now Harvey. I was hoping you would join me and Sue for dinner tonight." A feable attempt at getting the kids hooked up together. Sue narrows her eyes slightly at Franklin. "Dad...I have work to do." Trying to get out of it. Harvey scratches the back of his head. "Um. Sure Dr Storm." "How many times, its Franklin." Johnny glances at Ben, who was glancing at Reed, who was glancing at Harvey.

The moment he brought up dinner with the three of them Reed kept his head down a little trying to not get involved in it. It was a painful sight as Reed just had to accept what he was seeing, all while not accepting any part of it. "Uh I guess we can all come back tomorrow and start planning out how we're going to go about this yeah?" Reed asked meekly aloud. Ben looked over at Johnny who by seeing Reed like this even seemed to feel bad about it. "Man this is going to be a long project..." Ben told Johnny sighing.

"Dont worry buddy. We'll have so much fun it'll be a blast and you wont WANT it to end! Hehe." He puts a thumbs up to the rest of the team.
Yes. I'm very tired.

Sorry for the delay in posting Sep. I did have it written out yesterday at work but then forgot to send it myself for home as I cant view this website on work internet!

The giant serpent shrieks as his back was torn open by Doom, the venom spit that was for Victoria, was then aimed outward into the sky thanks to Victor's attack causing it to jerk backward. Thankfully the venom landed on parts of the roof that covered the people below and Valkyrie was saved from being heavily burnt.

As Amora’s shield shatters and the shrapnel was about to impale her, she used a teleportation spell and vanished. Although, her voice remained in the Ether. “This isn’t over Laufeyson!!” Her voice yells to a fade. The giant serpent looks around its Antarctic surroundings with confusion as Valkyrie notices the creature beginning to fade away into nothingness. As did the third serpent that the Doom Bots were about to dispatch, there was no need now so they could power down.

Her body sparkles golden as her torn flesh begins to repair itself. Placing one bare thigh beneath her, she vaults herself up by slamming her sword into the roof to lean against. Her wings still operable ,open widely and flap allowing her to glide down to the ground. She turns to look at the crumbled building; the left outside wall completely gives way and smashes to the ground. Her mother, in the distance, points from a SHIELD rescue car and then faints. Her father turns around to looks at his troublesome daughter across the way, shaking his head.

Victoria narrows her eyes. An outsider in her own family. That’s how she’d always felt. She turns her back on them, and walks away toward Tony, Loki and Doom. She was no longer part of the normal way of life; her home lay only with SHIELD now.

As she approached Loki something weird took a hold of her. As she was about to thank them for saving her parents, their guests and innocent people, her eyes turn golden.

“Your eyes. They burn.” Her voice changing to a lighter and sympathetic tone looks upon Loki with a warm, caring smile. And, as if by instinct she knew what to do. With the wave of her hand in front of Loki’s face, her spirit healing energy drifted into his eyes, stopping the phantom burn that had been brought on by the nostalgia of a very painful memory.

Turning to Doom she smiles with relief to see he was at least unharmed. She wouldn’t have made a very good bodyguard if he wasn’t. “I’m glad you’re all okay. Thank you for saving my life, Lord Doom - and you too Tony.” She addressed the metallic clad duo, not forgetting the newly emerged Iron Man. She was also relieved that Pepper made it out safely and there were no casualties.

“And thanks to you also - Loki…was it? Very impressive.” Victoria asks the redeemed hero, her eyes returning to a bright blue. “I’m not really sure who that was…or why she wanted to kill us.” She stood there pensively in her battle worn silver armour, the blood and cuts completely gone. “In fact, I’m not really sure about anything anymore...” She looks down at her sword, feeling some sort of magical energy within it. Her blood had reacted to the blade, awakening its true power of absorption. Maybe she was lacking confidence in her abilities. But what she did know, was her mission to continue to escort Doom here in the USA. Although, it looked like he was more than capable of protecting himself, and with the added security of his sentinels. What use was she to him? She pondered – could it be that he didn't really need protecting all along? Then...what DID he want of her?

In the distance, Agent Coulson was reporting everything about the Valkyrie’s Asgardian properties to Director Fury. And the potential threat that the Lady Thor may present to her, as she had been hunting down Loki so furiously. They wondered what else the Goddess of Thunder was up to.
Player Name: Angel Vicky
Character wanting to play: Jean Grey

Moral Alignment: Hero
Affiliation: Professor X and the X-men
Origin and Back Story:

A level 5 class mutant; who rarely arise once in a generation. Born to Professor John Grey and Elaine Grey. This fiery red head showed at an early age that she possessed extraordinary power and was very intelligent. She was the Queen Bee in high school, perfect at every aspect of education with straight A grades and also very athletic to boot. She played in all of the sports teams; hockey, softball etc. but she was mostly known for being captain of the girls’ soccer team at Belleville High. She won many trophies and awards for her sporting nature and her academic feats. She dated the most popular guy in school, Duncan for a little while. And if she had leaded a perfectly normal life she would have gone on to have a scholarship with Harvard University.

But at the age of 15, she did not have an ordinary life. Her best friend Angie was ran over by a car, the emotional impact this created, caused Jean’s mutant X gene to kick in - at first telepathy. She felt Angie’s pain and thoughts as she died. This caused such distress to the teenage red head, so much that her other power also awakened – telekinesis. Every car on the road around them exploded into the air by an 'unknown force', which later civilians were told a freak gale force storm had hit out of nowhere.

Later that day Professor Xavier and his then friend and colleague Eric Lehnsherr, before he formed the Brotherhood, was alerted to this phenomenon and visited the street where Jean lived. They discovered that all of the cars on the street, all garden hoses and all objects outside of the houses were levitating. The neighbours were scared and had deserted the whole street. Jean’s parents were very worried by their daughter’s weird abilities. Xavier and Eric saw unlimited potential within her. Xavier foresaw the problems of a distressed Jean being in public while Eric saw only raw power to be used against mutant haters. She had isolated herself from everyone and everything at the loss of her friend. Before they really knew what Jean was, her other school friends knew there was something weird about her after that and shunned her. Jean fell into a depression, but Xavier took her under his wing.

Eric and Charles eventually fell out over the formation of the X-men and the inclusion of Jean grey into the midst over the team's "purpose". She was the first female member of the original founding members: Cyclops, Angel, Beast and eventually Storm as their 5th. Xavier taught her how to use her telekinetic and telepathic powers to help people and fight for mutant kind. She and Scott Summers became best friends, even to forming a telepathic link to each other, but before they could start a relationship, Jean had reached a high level of expertise in genetics (under Xavier’s tutelage) and it was time to for her to unlock her mind and go to Harvard University. The two were then separated for 5 years.

Whilst Jean was away studying to become a doctor of genetics, she was able to keep her powers in check thankfully. Unfortunately, Scott became close to another during his depression when Jean left - Lee Forrester, unknowingly it was Emma Frost in disguise. Emma is a member of the Inner Circle, the reason why she used Scott to get close to the X-men was so she could get to Jean, their members tracked down the Phoenix Force that dwelled within her. Emma put a mental impression onto Scott as she is a telepathic mutant, she was also able to block Xavier's mental probes to come across as a normal human. This allows her to infiltrate the X-mansion as Scott's girlfriend. And so instead of Scott and Jean, the iconic mutant couple, it so became Scott and Lee.

When Jean graduated with a PhD, she was heartbroken to find Scott had moved on. But that didn’t let it stop her from becoming a senior member of the X-men and one of the most popular teachers for the newer intake of mutants. She also became the institute's medical doctor; she helped the Professor build Cerebro to seek out new mutants in need. And she was beloved by all her team mates and pupils alike.

Now the year is 2012, Dr. Jean Grey now helps Professor Xavier recruit struggling mutants and teach them as he did for her. The Marvel All-Stars twist - Emma Frost (under another's identity) has finally got her Scott Summers and Jean is unattached, in every storyline/alternative universe Wolverine never gets the love of his life. Maybe it’s finally time he gets a HAPPY ending in this alternate world? This is for fans of the Emma/Cyclops and Jean/Wolverine couplings.

Powers and abilities:
Telekinesis
Telepathy
Astral projection
Mind reading and control
Memory alteration and erasure
Psionic blasts

Sample Story Arcs:
Mr Sinister and The Savage Land – ever since Jean was young, Sinister had been obsessed with her genetic material. He wants to use her DNA to create the ultimate human. He will attempt to capture Jean. Sinister's usual base of operations lays in the Savage Land where mutant abilities are suppressed.

The Phoenix Saga and the Inner Circle – we all know that eventually Jean Grey becomes the Phoenix. But we will have her as the GOOD Phoenix. Her powers allow her to generate psycho kinetic fire. And this is where Emma Frost came in; she had infiltrated the X-men to keep an eye on Jean, as a member of the Circle/Hellfire Club. As she knew, she was the one born in this generation to inhibit the Phoenix Force. Sebastian Shaw wants to get his hands on Jean all for himself.

Rise of the Apocalypse – The ultimate X-men villain that all other Marvelites could technically join together against. And in light of the upcoming new X-men movie of Apocalypse.

Mojovision – A sci-fi, fun storyline that we can get crazy with. Mojo is an intergalactic being that teleports people into his arena for a broadcasting show. He uses the X-men to teleport them into strange fantasy world to battle their way out alive. Maybe he wants to teleport the X-men, Spidy, F4'ers, Avengers/SHIELD heroes and Asgardians onto a far away planet in a fight for survival to battle the strongest beings in the galaxy.

The SENTINEL programme – Trask Industries are making powerful sentinels to hunt mutants, Xavier has predicted a post apocalyptic world where nobody wins. He urges the X-men to stop them before they kill all humans on the planet.

Danger Room, 7pm:

Back then, she was known as Marvel Girl.

“JEAN! WATCH OUT!” Cyclops screams across a war-torn New York city street. Jean gasps as she dodges a laser beam shot at her from behind, she managed to dodge it just in time. It came from a large spaceship. An alien invasion was being simulated in their war room.

She turns around and throws her hand out toward the ship, it moves backward and smashes against the side of a skyscraper. “Nicely done!” Storm remarks. Jean nods toward her, she'd come a long way from not being able to control her outbursts to being able to make precision quick-thought decisions. She helped her to control her mind powers. Unfortunately, in doing so, she stole that psychic link that she had with Scott and manipulated him into thinking he had more of a link to her as she wanted Cyclops for herself.

Cyclops' eye beam slashed straight through a spaceship, ripping it in half. Jean then puts up a forcefield of telekinetic energy around Cyclops as the other ships concentrate fire at him. “This alien invasion is a bit extreme don't you think?” Maybe she just couldn't take it that seriously. But unbeknownst to the X-men Xavier had a future premonition that involved the Shi'ar Empire. And then devised a programme that incorporated the Shi'ar ships to ready his X-men for the possibility of invasion. Humans were NOT alone in the galaxy.

“Perhaps. Though I do believe the Professor has his reasons.” Ororo's strong African accent echoes through her wind tunnel over the sounds of battle. Jean could use telepathy and telekinesis at the same time, that's what made her so powerful....and dangerous. Emma Frost had known she was a level 5 mutant since the Circle began to watch the Grey teenager at age 15. The Circle's objective, millenia after millenia, to seek out the 'Phoenix Force' possessors that were born every five hundred years. After the very first Phoenix Force bearer levelled an entire empire a very long time ago with a single wave of fire, the “Templars” of the time formed a secret society dedicated to stop it happening again. The Inner Circle/Hellfire Club is now headed by Sebastian Shaw at present. Emma's objective was to infiltrate the X-men and watch over Jean Grey.

Now came the real test – how much could Jean Grey handle? How much could she be pushed to the limits without breaking? Xavier HAD to know. He didn't want to do this but...he set the danger level to maximum. At this level, there was every chance the X-men could be fatally wounded. But he had faith in Jean, Scott and Storm. He reserved Warren and Hank for rescue on the sidelines.

All of a sudden the mother ship approached the city of New York. Ten times bigger than that of the normal ships. It readied an all mighty beam blast to level the entire city. As it hit, there was an enormous gale force wind that shot toward them. Jean's only option was to shield all three of them in her protective psycho barrier. The force was incredible, she had to dig her feet into the cracked ground by pushing herself downward at the same time. She had to hold it or they would be flown back and be lost in the hurricane winds. A skyscraper falls on top of them. Now she had an incredible weight on top of her as well.

Pushing her power to the very limits of her mind, concentrating on nothing else but survival. Showing no signs of backing down, pushing herself even further. Cyclops blasted through the forcefield and broke the skyscraper into pieces. As Jean gritted her teeth and screamed in pain that her mind was feeling right now, a small fire began to emanate from the centre of Jean's chest. Emma was half way across the city as she felt the Phoenix Force arise. With widened eyes behind a car wheel she gasps 'No....not now!....' She thought in horror, thinking this was it, the moment Jean would not be strong enough to contain it. And she wasn't there to supress it or absorb it.

But Jean did not unleash the full potential of the Phoenix. The blast wave passes and the skyscraper debris crumbles to the sides of them. Jean could relax, she puts the forcefield down. Panting, she looks around, she gives the other two a thumbs up before passing out completely. The danger room powers down and Beast runs in roaring. “JEAN!!” He picks her up in his huge blue furry arms. “Thank god she's breathing”. She was smiling as she lay there unconscious. She knew she could save them from something awful. Prof X sighed with relief and hung his head down, feeling guilty he just put his prized apprentice through all that.

Storm watches Hank take Jean away to the medic-bay with her arms holding her elbows. She was worried. Emma pulls up outside the mansion, she'd found the Phoenix Force of this era. And she was the one who was going to have to stop Jean from killing millions. She and the Circle would have to keep an even closer eye on her from now on during her upcoming Harvard days. "Now just to get in close to Scott...as Lee Forrester." Emma schemed.

Thankfully, not a day went by with any incident that Jean needed to use such a force again. That is until 2012.

Looks good now. Only problem I see is the first sentence of the fifth paragraph in her bio seems like it is missing something. Otherwise, Jean Grey is accepted.

I see it, just some grammar issue that went off tangent somewhere. Should make more sense now.
I've taken that out. I always miss something. >.>
