I must warn you that, when it comes to the works, I tend to be a little preoccupied, or hyper-fixated, with the ones I'm already into. If I lose interest in a story within play, it may either be a short-term writer's block, or if it's time for me to recommend something else. Bear with me, if I ever reject an unfamiliar idea, or suddenly suggest a new one.
Biggest RP Pet Peeve: Whereabouts and Ghosting.
Please be present and keep me updated from time to time. I'll do the same.
It's annoying when people become invisible, miraculously appear out of nowhere, and complain, once they find a story cancelled.

Basic Comforts:
~ Primarily 1x1, since 'time' and 'waiting' are not really me.

Just as everything was going by, with tranquility...

"Monsters! Monsters!", Scooby comes running across the lobby, clearly frightened, bumping into a few people - tripping them and/or knocking the wind out of them - before eventually, albeit clumsily, finding shelter underneath one of the tables, taking out some of the objects that were above it. The shenanigan seemed to have attracted unwanted attention, since all of the other guests were turning their heads. Maggie, waiting for the drinks that she ordered, turned to watch her brother's dog, and narrowed her eyes in disbelief, trying to figure out why Scooby was consistently throwing frightful fits, since their arrival. The haunted house was one thing, but it appeared that the dog was mysteriously getting worked up in a completely normal setting. Was he seeing something that they couldn't? Did it only appear to him?

"Scooby, this is the most embarrassing thing you've done, since you decide to clean your beans at Don Knotts' Christmas party!", Fred scolded, making the poor dog whine in shame. He then took a relenting breath. "How many times do I have to tell you, boy?", he continued albeit softly, before kneeling down, and petting the canine's head for comfort. "There are no such things as ghouls, ghosts, goblins or monsters."

The leader looked around at the unsure faces of the people, around them. "Everyone, listen up", he said, getting up from where he knelt. "There is absolutely, absolutely no such thing as-", right before he could finish, the glass upon the lobby's front windows, suddenly shatters. Strong wind blew through, and the lights above, wildly flickered. Green wisps flew inside the lobby, and took shape: A thin leonine stature, much taller than an average human - perhaps between 9-12 feet - with long arms and legs, green eyes, and a dog-like face; almost like the god Anubis. They roared, causing the people to instinctively scream and scatter. "Monster!"

Due to everybody running, Velma was knocked into, making her glasses fall off. Shaggy (cowardly as ever) and the blonde girl immediately hid behind the bar, once Maggie broke a run to get back to Dia and Fae. Fred was on the run, until he had tripped over a stair, and fell the floor. Another one of the creatures managed to catch up to him, and grabbed him by the leg, and lifted him up, so he was upside down in its grip. "Fred!", Maggie shouted, interrupting her on her journey back to the others, to go help the leader, by grabbing his arm, and pulling, hoping that her effort would shake the creature off him. However, it was futile. If these were people in suits, they were super strong. Daphne was shielding the owner of the island, to the best of her ability, but finding themselves outnumbered, it was too late to stop the strange creatures from dragging him off. "Mr. Mondavarious!"

Maggie, in disbelief, pulled as hard as she could, but Fred wasn't budging. The dog-like thing that had him then released a green mist. "Maggie, save...", he said, just as that green mist traveled into the leader's airways, and disappeared into his body. "...Daphne", he was able to get out, before he lost consciousness in both the grips of Maggie, and the creature. With a roar, it lifted the unconscious Fred higher, which forced the female Rogers to lose her hold on him, allowing the creature to take its leave out of the lobby building, with a non-responsive Fred.

Another one came to take its place, and glared down at Maggie. "What are you?", she voiced; more to herself than the thing, towering over her. Once she starting crawling towards Dia and Fae, her leg was grabbed. The female Rogers wasn't one to easily show fear, but the fact that she was being pulled away from her 'best friends', that terrified her more. Her heart sped up, trying to muster as much strength as she can to crawl, and perhaps break its hold on her. She shook her leg, hoping to get it loose and kick it away, but the sheer strength of the creature continued to impress her. It was pulling her now, dragging Maggie across the floor, before it, too, released a green mist. Her breathing picked up, only having to quicken the process for it to enter her body, immediately knocking her out. "Mags!", Shaggy shouted, jumping out of his hiding, and watched helplessly, as his unconscious little sister was taken out of the building.

After a while of crawling around, Velma was able to find her glasses. Luckily, nobody stepped on them. By the time she was put them on, however, one of the creatures appeared before her. "Jinkies", she gasped in astonishment; her fight-or-flight instincts kicking in. But before she could break into a run, she was quickly grabbed, and picked up in its giant hand. Giving a yelp, she struggled, until it, too, unleashed the same green mist, which traveled into her airways, and disappeared into her body, causing the bespectacled girl to lose consciousness, as well.

Scooby was still hiding under the table, just as Daphne ran into the lobby room, and watched as her friends, as well as a few other people, get taken away. "Guys, come on!", she shouted to the rest of the gang, waving over at them, once the creatures set their sights on them. She ran towards the entrance of the building, hoping that they would follow her out. "Scooby-Doo, where are you!?", Shaggy shouted out, as he and the blonde stranger ran out, after Daphne. Right upon cue, Scooby didn't hesitate to heed his master's call.
Her comforting words seemed to be working wonders, as Fae showed herself being able to grasp them. She was brightening up, and that's what she really needed, right now. Giving her a kiss on the cheek, Maggie hugged the girl again. "I've missed you too", she said, giving one last squeeze, before pulling away. "There hasn't been a day where I haven't", the female Rogers added, giving a sad smile, before glancing at Dia, and held her hand, stroking it with her thumb.

However, by bringing up the beach house, it made her giggle -- especially once the eel incident was brought up, which definitely made her blush and laugh. "Hey, it would have made a great kebob!", the female Rogers piped in, with a wink. "Can you imagine roasted vegetables with a roasted eel?", she asked, with a blissful sigh, before shaking her head at Fae's question, frowning. "I could never cook those without the gang present. Especially without the both of you. It didn't feel the same, so the dishes were a bit more depressing unlike before", she explained, feeling quite down at the thought, for a moment, until a fond smile appeared, and she playfully poked Fae's nose.

"But no more of that", Maggie said, and placed her other hand, in the hand of the young Blake. "We're happier now, and together again. Smiles and all", no words were ever truer, and Rogers couldn't think of any other place, apart from now. Aside from family, and her friends, these two are whom she needed most. "How about I surprise you both, with a drink?", she said, glancing between them, and biting her lower lip with a hopeful yet giddy smile. She carefully lifted herself up from the lounge, and made her way to the nearby bar, looking back at them for a moment, before looking forward; the blush appearing, once more, with that giddy smile again.
Once the king approached him, Loki, even while he wasn't making any eye contact, instinctively closed his eyes, and held the wine chalice so tightly that his knuckles may/may not turn white. 'You screw up, a beating will be in order', that was the policy. That's what he heard -- and experienced. However, when in the presence of the king, it was a guarantee. The Jotun's breathing picked up speed, fearing for the worst yet knowing that the worst was coming.

Because he had his eyes closed, Loki didn't notice Silena watching with an observant eye, while trying to come up with an answer, in the hope to spare himself from getting backhanded. He had never received punishment, in front of people, since Thor never acted on them, in these settings. While it has never happened, doesn't mean it will never occur. A majority of what he had to endure, was away from the prying eyes of the king's subjects, including the queen and princess. To top it off, Thor made him swear not to tell, or the abuse will get worse.

With the memories coming back, full-circle, tears pried at the corner of his closed eyes, and his lower lip slightly trembled, along with the rest of his body. In the middle of brewing up some level of defense, the voice of Silena cut into their breathing space. Loki still didn't open his eyes, and subconsciously brought the wine chalice closer to his body. He wanted to shrink down, physically, but could only do so mentally.

"Throw this piece of Jotun filth into the cage", Thor said, completely ignoring his daughter's words. "He shall never see the light of day, until I am through with him", he added, before turning back to the collapsed figure of his wife, but not until giving Loki a glare. It was unreadable, but nothing good resonated from it, either.
Maggie attentively listened to Fae's explanation, regarding the split, and how much it had affected her, as well as her relationship with Daphne. While it has indeed created a shift, it was clear that has mostly impacted Fae, albeit tremendously. The female Rogers glanced down at the other's wrists, once more, and swallowed; her throat tightening up. She had known the other for several years, after meeting her and Dia, for the first time, during one of the gang's many getaways. There were many trips, but this one, in particular, stayed with her.

It was summer, and the gang stayed at a rental house, near the beach, for a few weeks. Except this time, they brought additions; in this case, Dia, Maggie, and Fae, since the place that they stayed at, had more bedrooms. It was all up to the Roger siblings to provide food for the group, three times a day, although it was Maggie, doing most of the cooking. Her heart and soul was into culinary. However, she remembered that she had extra help, whenever Maggie found herself, figuratively taking more what she could chew. Perhaps more than once, she had Dia and/or Fae lending a hand, every now and then.

Since that very summer and, after some good and bad encounters, the girls have been tightly knit, ever since, doing activities together, outside of being sleuths. The most memorable were watching movies, after eating dinner that Maggie herself had cooked. This, including the downs, also seemed to have brought forth some feelings that were beyond the throes of friendship, especially after they all shared that they liked the same gender. For Fae, it was a preference, resulting from bad experiences.

It was then and there, that the next challenge appeared: Admittance. Maggie liked women, and she liked them, but wherever their own feelings were, she couldn't jump the gun nor voice them aloud. She didn't want to hurt them. Whether or not, the other two girls had the same mindset, she didn't know.

"Shhh...shh..", Maggie shushed her, once she saw the tears fall. A sob followed, and that's when the female Rogers immediately acted: By wrapping her arms around her, and bringing her in, close, so Fae's face was hidden from the attention of the people in the lobby. "It's okay. It's okay", she continued to say, softly, hoping to comfort the other. "We're here now. Believe me, we're not going anywhere, and we didn't forget you. Never have, never will, okay?", she brought herself back to look Fae in the eye, and run her hand through the girl's hair, fixing it up. "Nobody can change you for who you really are", then came a genuine smile.
Shadow gave a confirming nod to Yami, as her persuasion ability seemed to help break the surface of the ice. Once that top layer has been chipped off, her partner stepped in to reason with him further. While she was confident in her abilities, Shadow had to be sure, whether or not, it really worked, because much of it depended on the inner strength of the person, and how strong their desires were. If it proved difficult, the djinn would have to put even more force on them, sometimes to the point, where it induces great pain (of which Shadow doesn't wish to give them). If that person was apart of an opposing faction, and they were beyond redemption, perhaps they deserved the punishment.

In Mokuba's case, he had a good heart, deep down - just only a bit misguided - and Shadow smiled at his willingness to correct his mistake.

Just as they raced towards the pier, where the boat was, the vessel had already left, confusing the genie.
Looking around, it was only the man from earlier, standing there.
Back then, Charlotte had been thinking, for a long time, on why Mister Speedwagon wouldn't let her anywhere near the Stone Masks. Though she was told to not delve too deep into the past, Sir Joestar's comment had the gears in her head turn... before coming to a stop. How could she be so naĂŻve? The blonde looked down at the ground for a moment, having to think, whether or not, she should be mad at her own stupidity. She was lucky to not be a victim. However, Charlotte knew it wasn't something to be proud of. A few days ago, people she knew have died, in the presence of this artifact, and Straizo, who harnessed its power, might know the fate of Speedwagon.

She'll find him, and make it up to him, if he did indeed survive. He should...he should....

Joseph refused to retreat, upon suggestion, much to Charlotte's surprise. But then, she remembered that Sir Joestar was persistent, and was going to get answers, no matter what; the same reason why she had joined him. Therefore, Charlotte stood her ground, moving a few paces behind Joseph, in case he had a plan. If so, she was curious. He might attempt those same tricks from the restaurant again.

Charlotte's jaw dropped, as she watched the bullets fall to the ground, having to not affect Straizo, in any shape or form. There was no physical injury on him, leaving the blonde with a spine-chill feeling to traverse throughout her entire body. "Where is Speedwagon?!", she demanded; courage coursing through her, despite her apparent fear. "Where is he? Tell us!"
By the time the Princess shouted for help, her mother coughed more violently and, in her attempt to get up, immediately fell to the floor; the cup of wine in her hand, clattering to floor, nearby, making a small mess. Thor immediately appeared at his wife’s side; his daughter not too far behind. He coddled his beloved, shortly before glancing at Loki, who stood frozen in place, with the chalice of wine, still in his hands. He didn’t understand: No one else, besides the royals and the servants, could access the Queen’s favorite wine.

Did it go bad, and that Queen Sif was having a reaction?

But then, Loki remembered that he served the same wine to her, earlier in the day, and she seemed fine. Why now? How could that be? Looking away at the scene, he looked down at the empty chalice in his hands - not knowing that the king was looking at him. ‘What have I done?’

“You!”, Thor directed at him, having to move out of the way, as soon as some healers showed up. Loki raised his head in acknowledgement yet immediately looked away, once he realized that the king referred to him. One might interpret the action as guilt, but in actuality, it was fear.

Since a majority of his punishments were acted, by the king himself, Loki was conditioned to not meet eye-contact. At the same time, these acts themselves traumatized the Jotun so much, that he couldn’t even look at his abuser - if one could guess correctly - King Thor. He was approaching Loki now; the slave’s heart going faster, and his breathing picking up speed. “What did you do?”, the blonde-haired man demanded.
Upon hearing Dia's words, the female Rogers turned her head to look at her, and give her a fond smile, before placing a hand on one of her hands. However, the sadness coming from the short-haired girl made Maggie frown, and turn her attention back to her. "What made you think we wouldn't be friends anymore, Fae?", she asked, slightly offended. It was until she saw at the corners of Fae's eyes that made Maggie give a sigh, and bite her lip, after processing her words. She herself may not be crying, but then, it did tug something within her heart, upon seeing her close friend- or someone more- crumble before her. Keeping her one hand on Dia's own, Maggie placed her other one under Fae's chin, guiding her to look at her, before placing her hand down to land on the girl's thigh. "I, too, thought neither of you would want to speak to me. When nothing came, I turned my attention, somewhere else, by cooking", she admitted. "Mostly without passion", in addition.

Maggie shook her head. "But that's different from an emergency", she said, reaching forward to dry Fae's eyes, before pulling away. "Why didn't you tell us about...", gesturing to her wrists, saying it softly. This was not the place to say such things aloud.
Bringing her hands through her hair, and over her face, Maggie didn't see Dia and Fae joining her on the lounge. It was until she saw the faint figures of two females sit beside her that she was able to realize that they accompanied her without hesitation. At the same time, contact to her legs brought a nod that Dia was present, since the other woman had a habit of doing this to her, whenever they were sitting down, in the attempt to relax. Maggie smiled at her. "Not the first time we had trouble sneak up from under our noses", she pointed out, before looking over at Fae, who was fiddling with something in her pocket...in a rather panicky way.

"Fae", the female Rogers softly called her, until she quickly placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. "It's okay. We're not in that crazy loop of a house anymore", she reassured. "If you ask me, we're not going back in there", she shuddered at the last bit, before crossing her arms. "I swear, if I see giant spiders, I'm not taking any chances".
The very mention of 'brainwashing' made Maggie's stomach, either do a few flips, or drop instantly, since their seemingly-mission turned on its head. They were instructed to investigate the strange behaviors of the college students, hopefully by finding the person, who may be brewing up something that might be influencing them. But then, how does that explain their surprising strength, like from earlier? Was that woman always strong, to begin with? Appearances can be deceiving, after all. Judging by what they have found tonight, however, it's like that very incident was seconds past. A brainwashing facility? An evil cult? The mysterious object that Daphne found? This was out of their league, and beyond them. However, that didn't mean they were going to abandon the mission, no matter how strange. 'Strange' was what they were all about.

Maggie reached back to take the free hands of both girls, right as they were exiting the haunted house ride. It was still dark, and the gang decided to retreat to the hotel, so they can gather their minds, and inform Mondavarius what they have discovered. The front lobby looked like a large, two-level lodge; like how one would expect on a trip to a house on the beach. One level had indoor fire pits, tables and chairs, along with some couches, with the second floor showing more tables and chairs, as well as piano, with someone playing on it, filling the room with relaxing music. The one thing that stood out, for both levels, were people sitting at bars.

“I’ll inform the owner”, Fred said, as Velma took the artifact from Daphne. “And I’ll go examine this; see if I can get anything from the inscriptions inside”, she declared with a smile, before the red head piped in. “I’ll go research cults on the ‘net”, before giving Velma a small high-five. With that, the three went their separate ways, including Shaggy and Scooby, who went to one of the nearby tables, where that familiar blonde girl was sitting at. Maggie walked over to one of the lounge couches, and flopped down with a tired sigh.
