Sleeping in too much so I'm getting hit a bit hard with my depression due to that. Need to find a GF! >.<

Oh, Crytech is going out of business here soon. Unity/Unreal/Havok being the game engines everyone uses now really hurt them bad.

Light was excited at this whole 'job' thing. It meant that she had some leverage and could go to places without people looking at her weird or flat out running away. She looked for other people with as much joy about the whole thing as her, and found the two furry brothers being almost as enthusiastic as her. Approaching the pair from the back, she hung on the two, one in each arm. "Hey, wanna see if we can find another person and make some kind of monster or furry squad?" She said with a laugh.

Claws are nice.

Scythe is too complex and could be used for a fusion so no.

Shield is nice.

Wand is not really a practical weapon soooo I'm going to take a pass on that.

Also has anyone seen the new Star Wars movie? Apparently its pretty good.

Light listened as Arsenal explained their situation to the newcomer in his 'special' way. Really the guy was so aggro Light wondered if he ever took time to relax without outside help. Although when the newcomer, named Nuke, questioned how many were on the team and if he could do recon, Light chimed in before Arsenal had a chance "You did just hear him, right? We have 3 people including you and apparently we'll be recruiting some mercenaries.". Thinking for a bit, she continued "We'll probably all go up as a group to recruit them. Can't let you go by yourself just yet. Anarchy has these nasty squid bots in some areas that are just.... eurgh." Light said, shivering at the end when thinking about some of the strange bots Anarchy had commissioned.

At any rate, she waited for Arsenal's decision on the matter. Light wasn't much one for detailed plans and only really aimed for a big picture sorta thing.

@Archmage MC Like Halting said, Lapis has an item. Her wings. As far as we can tell, all gems have some sort of item. From Pearl's spear to Jasper's Helmet to Lapis's Wings. It doesn't matter if it's offensive, defensive, or purely functional; it has to be an item that would benefit the gem in both her purpose and her survival.

I can give her a practical item then if you want. Its just tricky since she uses portals. I could go with claws maybe sos he could use them to dissect things, or a 'magic satchel', though that last thing apparently is something all gems can get.

@Raijinslayer Please don't blow up the town. In all seriousness though, Blood is going to be way more antagonistic this time. I keep trying new villain tactics with him each reboot so this time I'm going full antagonist. If Seraphinite has a crush on that then I'm scared.

@Archmage MC Bloodstone may be a crazed, mental motherfucker but he is the leader on everything science when it comes to gems. Even he would like Marry. Also, I already said no to the book. She needs to have some item that could benefit her survival. A book is honestly useless and you should look for something more helpful to your gem.

And I tell you she doesn't need a weapon due to being insanely ability based. Heck Lapiz doesn't have a weapon :P. I can give her one if you really want, but I feel it'll either be useless anyway or a massive power boost that isn't needed. She can at least record data in her book and do some other things with it. I'll take suggestions though.
I took the book idea from Kingdom Hearts, one of the Organization 13 members uses one and his fight is a PITA. Book World is evil.
I was thinking a Shield maybe, but I dunno what kind of shield.

Also I got a feeling Marry will try to mix human and gem science together. Lots can be done with human concepts and gem technology!

Y'know what's gonna be fun? Seeing everyone's Gem Fusion weapons. For some reason, that's always the part I fixate on.

Man, whoever fuses with Marry will have a weird weapon, since she has a book. She'll be fun to get fusion ideas with.

@rocketrobie2I imagine Seraphinite having a crush on Blood, but is a total Tsundere about it(if you don't know the term, watch an Anime called Toradora. The short girl is basically the epitome of what I'm envisioning). I also can see her possibly being friends with some of our current cast, most likely Marry(?) because they seem relatively chill.

Marry will be everyone's friend. Though she'll also be doing lots of experiments with people.
