"Well, Elise, Looks like their isn't a fight after all."

"Seems like it," Elise responded neutrally once the others arrived. It seemed like one of the older girls was beaten; the one who never introduced herself but Rose called her Emiri. She was the one who seemed really childish for her age, if her costume and rabbit slave was any indication. And the kindergartner seemed to be shaken by the ordeal. What an incredible twist, she sarcastically thought to herself. She's going to be so useful with her crying.
Elise didn't have much to say on the subject until a certain loudmouth decided to pollute the air with her voice:

They managed to arrive without incident, and Miyako strode in with a grin. "The conquering hero returns," she said aloud before looking for a good spot to put Emiri down. "Oh, and the Primordials had a thing for support types," she added as way of explanation. Still, she would definitely call it a success.

Elise had an expression of annoyed refusal to believe what she heard. "Really? Looks like Miss Perfect doesn't have a perfect score anymore, seeing as how you let her bleed like that. So much for being the best," she added in a mocking manner, before she returned back to being serious. "But still, the Primys are dirty cowards for targeting weak opponents first. I spit on them."

Are we waiting for more people?
Elora's fears came true: something did happen to the two of them, and by the sound of Sigma's tone when mentioning the 'disciplining' it must have been unimaginably horrible like torture, and the very thought caused visible shivers and sweating in her. It did explain why the two of them disappeared for as long as they did, even with Ian's wounds. She took another look at Ian, trying to figure out what was done to him, but she couldn't find any answers. Maybe it was better that way; Elora's already seen enough to upset anyone, let alone someone as timid as her. Even the mere sight of blood on Ian was enough to make her squirm.

But does this mean Serah knew all along? She was awfully quiet about Ian when she mentioned him, and kind of sidestepped the issue.

Maybe she was also worried, and just didn't want to incite any panic? I hope so...

Sigma also ordered not to cause burden, and that made her think: Was she making trouble? She wasn't purposefully doing it if she was, and hoped Sigma would understand that. At least she would be available for talking to later, which was a relief. She hasn't got a chance to talk to her since the mock battle.

Sigma then called Elora over, and wanted her to bring the cake too.
"Umm, okay," she answered and took the cake. She relocated it to where Sigma was. She did notice Ian staring intensely at the cheesy treat, and she considered sharing a slice with him, but squad leader's orders came first. She wasn't sure, but she thought she heard something about cake strategy. She didn't know whether that meant sharing the cake, or using it as a weapon. It wasn't hard to guess which option Elora preferred.
The moment Rose withdrew from Elise's grip the red girl grinned. Her sides were still aching a bit, but she was back, no doubt about it. Rose said she liked her, which was the first time anyone said that to her. She blushed before she realized what was happening and then scoffed and turned around with her arms crossed as an attempt at keeping up appearances. She was accepted for what she was, and that made her happy inside, as much as she didn't want that to show on her face. Elise turned back to Rose after having recomposed herself as she explained herself being timeless; again, not a big revelation, but nonetheless interesting to think about. While being immortal would be great in terms of getting to fight for an eternity, there wouldn't be any growth in strength like she mentioned, which was something Elise valued even above brawling, and wouldn't give up on anything in the world.

"Now, You seemed to have recovered your strength. Do you think you are up for another fight? The others are or should be fighting a Primordial as we speak. If not, we can go back to the party. I do kinda want to finish off that tea now that I do not need to share."

"I could go for a fight, but if you want to sip I'm down with that too." Elise decided to throw all the decision making on Rose; she was part of the group who orchestrated this all so she'll take responsibility for it too. Besides, she gained a bit of humility after her defeat and decided not to deliberately push her luck and charge head-on to another battle the first moment one would reveal itself, unlike previously.
“I also don’t understand your desire for combat and bloodshed Elise Augermann. You humans are too confusing to pick apart.”

"Hmph. Whatever," Elise responded in an offended manner as she turned her head away from the furball. "It's just what I am. Nothing to understand (cough) there." Elise had no need to explain herself for what she is and how she goes about doing things. She was the only one who could understand the beast in her, after all. She was alone in her battle.

"Unlike our mutual benefactor here, I understand your love of combat and bloodlust. I feel it too. The difference is that I control it. I can teach you to control it or rather channel it into something useful. I honestly avoid combat because the fact I enjoy the thrill of near death scary. I do not want to die and if I lost control of my excitement in battle, I could die. In fact, that primal was almost able to kill me because I got carried away." Rose wipes away the blood from her shoulder. It is completely healed by now. Rose pulls her blue soul gem out. It was attached to a silver necklace. She says, "If that Primordial had struck a little more center, you would have seen me die." Rose puts her soul gem back away.

Elise was a bit taken back by what she said. She didn't expect to hear anyone else, let alone someone as calm as her, to also have the same kind of excitement as her when she goes full throttle. She thought she was the only one who knew the rush. With that revelation, Rose scored respect from Elise, and she nodded to what she said. Unlike Akame, who bored her with stupid talk, Rose had her full attention. She then brought her soul gem to view, and Elise touched her own in response. "Yeah. Once these break, we're goners. But it's (cough) better than us dying to a mere blast of fire punched through us, right?" Elise made a cheeky grin. "I didn't take you for the kind to know bloodlust."

Rose held her hand out to her side and water carried her discarded Urumi back to her. She coiled the blade around her waist like a belt. Its handle stuck by her side like a normal sword would. She then extended a hand out to Elise to help her stand and in a sign of peace. She says, "Elise, I would be honored to be your partner. Regardless of how temporarily a alliance might be. I might look younger than the others by I am the oldest. Akame, still beats me in time as a magical girl though."

Elise took her hand with a strong grip, and took leverage from her. "I think you mentioned being old back in the party. That's weird, what with you looking younger than even (cough) I do." Weird as it was, in a world of magic anything was possible, and Elise was fully aware of it.

"If you do work with me, there is something you should know. My name is not Rea. I am known as Rea. Slight difference, most do not catch it. My name is Rose Elizabeth Andrews. So I shortened it to Rea. You can still call me Rea, in fact, I prefer it. Not a lot of people know my true name. I only trust a few people in this world. I can count them on one hand." With the hand not extended, Rose holds up two fingers to signify how many people she trusts. "I hope I can add you to the count. WHat do you say? You did lose your match. Allow me to bring you up to our level?"

Rose's real name was not that big of a reveal to Elise as the apparently older girl may have imagined. It was the same person behind the two names, after all. A name meant nothing in a world where the strength of arms was victor. Rose was serious about wanting to train her, however. Elise would not have accepted normally due to being too proud to accept help from anyone else, thinking it was the coward's path. But the possibility that she could really understand her coupled with her own desire of growing stronger and more focused led to her decision. She also honored her wish about her real name being secret by inventing a nickname for her; a habit she did to anyone she respected. Whether she would like that or not was not something she particularly cared for.
Her grip on Rose's hand grew in power, to the point of attempting to crush her fingers. She gave a big smile, and her eyes tightened.

"I'll do it. But I'm going to be a difficult client, with my...temperament and all. Are you sure you're up to it...Razor?"
