No one knows. Its never been attemped. Theoretically if you had enough material in the way of the amaranthine, you'd create a temporary barrier, preventing transmission of amaranthine. But to do that, it would need to be faster than teleportation. It'd need to be instant transmission, which for all we know, doesnt technically exist.

What would be different between that and teleportation?
<Snipped quote by Artifact>

In simple terms... There is no concrete way of stopping the infection. Corruptive amaranthine 'eats' anything it comes into contact with, molding itself into the cell and rewriting the DNA, makign it seem it was always naturally there. Once that happens, theres no return. And the fact that its practically instantaneous upon contact makes it virtually impossible to stop. You'd have to be more than 4 times faster than the speed of light to intercept and force the amaranthine cells to interact woth a different material.

And what would happen if you could?
<Snipped quote by Artifact>

How?

What do you mean, and what would happen?
<Snipped quote by Artifact>

Destroy them before they detsroy you, or alternatively give them more to eat than it can handle at one time.

Expand on that one.
<Snipped quote by Artifact>

This entire situation is more than unpleasant.

How do you avoid being corrupted?
<Snipped quote by Artifact>

Whatever is corrupted will die. Consider it an amputation.

That would be unpleasant.
<Snipped quote by Artifact>

I wouldnt consider killing someone a cure.

What if they’re not fully corrupted?
<Snipped quote by Artifact>

Because it effectively kills the infected cells. It makes them fold onto one another until they tear apart.

So it can, then?
<Snipped quote by Extra>

Pretty much just, if you can pull it off, it sounds worth it.

<Snipped quote by Artifact>

Same thing Aeron is doing. Threaten all of reality.

Generally not a very nice thing to do. Also a good way to make a lot of enemies.

Guys. There's only so much of my life force I can give out, which is the only confirmed weakness of theirs, and as far as I know theyre isnt anything that can stop their corruption other than that, or cutting off the limbs that they infected.

Your lifeforce can’t cure infection?

<Snipped quote by Artifact>

Good point. Due to my knowledge and experience with this Amaranthine I can only spitball ideas or bring up questions.

Which is why anything resistant would be useful.
