Also, in regards to the Raildexverse... I've read through all of NT (up to NT16) and am more or less up to date with the Railgun manga. I want Index 3 because it's give us the road to the New Testament arcs, and OH MY GOD ARE THEY AMAZING.

Though... I still wouldn't say that the anime industry has gone too far down that hole. Just because the classic high school battle harem romance comedy is cheap and easy to pump out to make money doesn't mean it should be seen within a vacuum. There are a lot of gems that exist if you know where to look, but I won't deny that it DOES have a few issues here and there.
