Well if i had to say, it is not exactly mind control, but more like hijacking someone's else voluntary motion control... In other terms "body control". But it requires mediation by teeny weeny microwires directly inserted in the backs of the necks of people.

And with this it is pretty much clear this is Manga! Legato Bluesummers, which has a nerfed ability when compared to the anime but helluva cooler.

Rules say actually no perfect mindcontrol.

Probably might do a twofer villain... And my ideas are wilder, like a nihilist mind-controling zealot, a possum and the suckiest villain of a series, wich might even be OP funnily enough.

Or someone with an arm cannon and a big chip in the shoulder.

Last I checked, being tiny doesn't exclude you from being a Knight, and being a vampire gets you killed on sight, so she probably wouldn't be letting anybody know that, and Fanilly isnt exactly a fortress of suspicion and doubt. She's also not unsuited in any way, being fast and clever enough to be a scout at the very least.

She's a vampire, tiny, and the person she needed to convince was either Fanilly or Tyaethe--as the timing excludes the previous captain (therefore it would default to the most senior member if she joined before Fanilly assumed control). That's what is causing an issue.

Favours don't cover fundamental hurdles like "why is this incredibly unsuited ultra-light hating nem trying to be a knight". xD

Still need to decide on who my second character will be. I have shockingly few ideas for villains.

Behold the world's Greatest Treasure Hunter

• Name: Gilgamesh
• Universe: Final Fantasy V
• Appearance: The time to fight like men has come!
• Personality:
  Gilgamesh is, despite his allegiance, not one you would describe as 'evil'. He's not out for world domination, or to spread suffering to the masses. All Gilgamesh seeks is a good fight, a legit Excalibur, and a way back home. He may be somewhat selfish, and one hell of a bumbling oaf, with a bit of a cowardly streak, but if nothing else, he isn't actively malicious to random people. Though if said random people happen to posses legendary weapons, they are so getting challenged for ownership.
  Gil is a bit of a braggart, which combined with his habit of running from troublesome battles, would indicate he is not really much of a threat at all. However, you don't end up possessing an armory of powerful weapons without the skill to wield them effectively; if left with no choice, or with an opponent that can ignite Gilgamesh's passion for battle, his true skill with the blade is revealed! He may even come to greatly respect his opponent, even if they must fight to the death.
  He is also not fond of sentient tree-monsters for some weird reason.
• Abilities:
  Swordsmanship - As you may have guessed, this would indicate that Gilgamesh is very good with swords. He is also good at using spears. And axes. Basically, if it's a weapon, Gilgamesh will be at least adept at using it. He can even use guns pretty well, but finds them rather boring and thus, doesn't really bother with them.
  Morph! - Gilgamesh transforms into his true form - an eight-armed guy. This allows him to wield eight weapons at once.
  Minor Magic - Gilgamesh has some knowledge of 'blue magic' (generally abilities that monsters would use), but for simplicity's sake, let's just skip that bit.
• Alliance: Zuriel
• Other: His weapons seem to be stored in hammerspace. Or possibly an armory that only he can access. Imagine if he could just shoot his swords out of it. Wouldn't that be cool?
