Everyone is heading for the stepstones...

Done. I think I fucked up the KL stuff a tad but it keeps it moving. There's a collab with Mono in there too, and it's a focus on Willas/Ellion/Garlan/Merlin than Alerie (who as Amber hints, has a history).

Also, if that post is dark and riddled with errors, I don't even. I'm very sleepy and I need to break my lock in terms of posting- so I might do another on Monday as a real follow-up to anything that might happen in reply to Ellion (no double posting tho).

It's okay. To be frank I think that more interactions with either Seran or Lysara would bog the story down as far as I am concerned.
The mast creeked ominously as Alden shifted his weight around the ship, counterweighing the sail. The wind and weather had been mostly fair to him in these late hours, but he still bore exhaustion of having to fight a seastorm before that. He thought at some point he would never make it, what with his travelling partner sinking into the waves to never be seen, and waves washing away half of the supplies he had brought with him. The cabin was still partially soaked in seawater though, although the worst had passed yet. Now it was a race of endurance, as he couldn't get someone else to take over. He thus, had spent more than a day without catching a shuteye. He was thirsty, tired and hungry... and yet, he pressed on.

His eyes focused on the sight that awaited him as he travelled through New York Bay. After 20 years, it was there. Weathered down, but pretty much intact. The statue of the Liberty. Alden couldn't help but be moved at the sight. Truly one of the modern marvels of the world he once had lived in, welcoming as always the travellers who came into the United States to seek a new life. It gave him renewed strength, as he tugged from the ropes once more. Not much longer now, before setting the foot in land. Alden, the "Old Wolf" smiled. Perhaps after so much tribulations, he started to see substantial progress in his mission.

Grabbing a couple of binoculars, he peeked at the base of the statue. There was some movement. Some kind of... armed forces. They seemed to have taken an interest in him. Well, who wouldn't? Not many ships came into the Hudson bay these days. He steeled himself and decided to go greet them. Hopefully they'd not shoot him. He wasted no time in tying the ship to one of the now free moorings of Liberty Island, swiftly hopping out of the deck into the land as he did so, and made sure the knots held tight. There was still some time, so he took his meager possesions with him, the urn and the book.

And promptly fell to his butt, then lay down, staring at the sky. "Whew. That was a thing, Monique. We are in New York." He muttered to himself, before the sound of footsteps made him turn his attention elsewhere. There they were, the armed people he had seen before.

"Gentlemen..." He muttered as a salute, as he still laid on his back.

Nero eyed Sult, as she kept kneeling before the shrine of Reon, a silent prayer escaping the lips of the youngest of all Sunfiels. In front of her, a small burning flower. She had one in front of hers aswell. Her lips were moving aswell, following her younger sister's lead. Heh. I suppose that your intentions this time were genuine. There's so much one can fool around isn't it. The elder of the twins let out a thin smile as she redoubled her efforts in praying.

Well, I am glad you have got my back. We will probably need it. Nero thought to herself, after recapping all the ruckus up until this point. Some of the darkest ghosts of the Kingdom were refusing to give up, and still haunt peace after the ages. And on top of that, there was the ruckus with the elf knight. Even if she was quite the unruly one, losing veteran talent always hurt before the battle.

I may have to call for that demon armor if things get really tight. But I'd rather learn this kind of magic and stand on my own. She added as both of them finished at the same time. Which prompted an smile from both. Almost as if they were one, both looked to each side, eyeing up the shrine for cues before returning.
Anyone want to give me a quick summary of everything?

Holy crap :O you're back!
Everyone, i can edit the last part if anyone wants more interlude action.
It's no secret that Seran might pimp her sister to be a consort to a very posh noble. But he's not really pushing the issue what with his drunken bet and the incident of his father. He'll just lay out as a possible alternative and let Lysara decide. Lysara is not above political marriage, and she might even aim for it.

On the subject of love Seran is eeeh... fairly apathetic. He was born in Lys and has seen people die because of lust and what people call Love and whatnot. He would be content with someone fairly amorous and loyal and honest, however homely or lowborn they might be.

Edit: Fixed a blooper, I thought it was Jon not Daenerys giving the condecorations.

Depressingly, Ellion isn't who he is because he sticks with one girl. He is who he is because he is completely an asshole. So Merebelle has status. So does he....as the secondborn son of one of the prominent Lord Paramounts in the Seven Kingdoms, and someone who has ability with a blade. He's youthful, arrogant, and while not ignorant, he's very simple in his desires. It's not so much that he doesn't care, or doesn't understand, it's just to him, he just sees lust as provisional, and sure, Merebelle is beautiful and makes him go a little over what he does. But if he was pulled away, and kept away from Merebelle long enough, he wants to keep his image. That of a charming, beautiful Reachman on tour, who smells of roses and attracts both women and a particular few men. One night together is very little to Ellion, two is a little more.

It's sad as hell. Outside, I want to write him as happily merrily ever after. Reality? People, like in the real world, are fucking crap, and have shitty ways of being human. They see boobs, they like. Ellion is just curious, he's done a lot of shit in a very young life, and is used to his actions not really having much consequence because he moves on, only his reputation and talent in arms and tourneys making him known for his bravery, and his looks. His sex life? He knows he has to be careful around the Targaryen Princesses, as well as other women that may lust for him, but chooses Merebelle because she's a challenge. If a YiTish girl rocked up, Ellion would want that, because he likes a bit of a project, something exotic and extraordinary. He's a complete fucking player...so that's why I can't guarantee it, because I always had him as that, really aimless but talented, he's a charmer but he's also complacent and misguided. That's why he would actually get on well with Lysara....oooorr his sister would tell him "Fuck that, she'll kill you" because she'd know (actually, Lysara could work with Alerie if you liked) probably what would happen, and even be a little worried Ellion wouldn't be able to deal with that.

Now the rest of my characters, that's something else. There's a small gaggle of Tyrells that are still open if anyone wants them, back in Highgarden.

Be my guest. Try to get giggity with Lysara. See what happens.

I can edit the last post for more interaction if you're willing.
@AtomicNut Lysara could always stay in court to deal with political stuff in the capital as well. I could have her be taken on as a handmaiden. Or she might insist on accompanying Seran to wherever she goes.

She just invited herself :P
I suppose Lysara is a virgin still.

She just has quite the bodycount with smiles and poisoned wine.
