AppearanceBilko likes to surround himself in an aura of mysticism. To say he fails horribly, is to put it kindly. His "magnificent Wizard" clothes are just cheap recolored commoner's garbs, one size too big and full of hastily scribbled symbols who are only half successful in showing the arcane nature of his owner. He is a scrawny boy, for all intents and purposes, and quite fidgetty at that. His star amulet is practically the only thing that evokes the right solemn aura a wizard should have, but it is underneath his clothes and is rarely seen.
PersonalityBilko is a extremely pessimistic individual, and often whines about his condition and ailments. He also zigzags between nervous wreck and apathetic shell an inordinate amount of times, depending whether he feels threatened or not. A scrounging rat, he lacks any shame or compunction to do what is needed to do to survive. This usually involves eating garbage.
Background Bilko was born far from the bustling Castle Town, in a rather calm town called Kakariko. With a big creepy-ass cemetery and a past darker than tar. Oh, and his father was the groundskeeper. So instead of having his father telling little Bilko spooky stories by night, he had him watch from the window as he put back some feisty corpses and Poes where they did belong with his trusty shovel and sometimes an extra oomph like blessed items or so. Even Bilko understood how insane was that kind of stunt and when he was old enough, set to travel world with the first merchant he met.
The Ghost Merchant was fairly amused to have an underling for a time, and even more amused when he discovered that the nervous wreck of his apprentice had actually a rare talent for a villager. Magic potential. So he sent Durahans Bilko to capture all kinds of otherworldly monstrosities, then chuck them into bottles for sale. Bilko was positively flabbergasted the first time he saw someone drinking a freakin' Poe out of all things like if it was cheap ale. Despite the constant danger and maddening work conditions, Bilko did manage to get a good magical training out of the ordeal.
And then he completely ruined it by practicing a powerful spell near the ghost bottle storage. The resulting shockwave depleted months of ghost catching, and the irate Ghost Merchant cast Bilko away in Castle Town. Now without a proper job, and people rarely believing he was a wizard, he tries to scrounge up a living by searching around trash...
TalentsTrash Wizard: The only and one. While he looks like your average street rat, how many street rats can conjure fiery death upon enemies, blow up walls, banish spirits and create magical barriers?But he can never get rid of the smell fully. Also, power level might vary when compared to actual mighty wizards.
Cowardly Lion: Bilko might be a nervous wreck, and he appears to crumple even under very minor teeths. However, all bets are off when large threats are inbound. Even cornered rats show mighty ferocity, and Bilko is like them. The mightiest of foes might be attacked relentlessly and ruthlessly.
This remembers me... : Under the wing of his wandering master, Bilko has seen and witnessed much of Hyrule's lights and shadows. He even boasts an honorary Gerudo card. (It involved an incident with a crate full of cuckoos, spiced meat food, misfiring Ice arrows and a Gossip stone, as far a he tells).
WeaknessesI come here to rain on your parade: Bilko has the uncanny ability to sink the mood of any given situation to the deepest levels of the Water Temple by just opening his mouth. This has made him quite a bit of a millstone to keep around in conversations. His hobbies are rather creepy, as some sort of ungodly combination.
