Pokémon: Kalos Chronicles: Superstars of Friendship Edition

Kairi said something about smelling like the backstage of a fashion show, as if it were a bad thing. It was certainly better than cigarette smoke. Ember and Grace were fawning over their Pokémon, and that’s when André realized that two members of their group were still missing. It was only then that he realized that they had arrived, and were quite some distance away. André scoffed. Had they been there this whole time? Why didn’t they say anything? André marched over there to greet them. “Bonjour, messieurs! He gave the two boys a kiss on the cheek, and handed them both pink roses. “Why didn’t you say anything? I don’t bite!”

And now that everyone was here, it was time to get going. He whistled, and signaled to all his fan.“Attention, sil vous plaît! Attention. You have all been a wonderful audience! But now I must be going. I have invited my friends here to go on a journey together. I couldn’t possibly do this on my own after all! It is about time we get started. Au revoir!” He waved good bye to his adoring fans, and went off into Route 1, and expected the others to follow his lead.

They didn’t get very far into Route 1. André was still followed by some of his fans, and he made no effort to shoo them away. So, André decided to give the people what they wanted. Or at least what he thought they wanted. “Well, it seems like a few of you can’t get enough of me! So, how about I put on a show just for you!” He then grabbed Saint by the arm, who now smelled of cigarette smoke. He thought smoking went out of fashion years ago. “Saint, Ember, Grace. How about the four of us have a battle for these lovely people! I know we used to pretend to be Pokémon trainers when we were kids, and now we can do it for real. S’il vous plaît?”

Meanwhile, a little girl who also happened to be there. “Hey! Didn’t I see you with a Teddiursa before?” The girl sent out her own Pokémon, a Pancham. “It’s so cute. I love bears! Battle with me! We’re trainers. You can’t say no!”

Ok guys, I don’t want to leave you all hanging forever. I’m having trouble with my post, and I need some help. >.<

I need to progress the story. But there are quite a few things that I want/need to have happen, and I’m having trouble putting everything together, if that makes sense.

I need to progress the group and move us along. I need to have something happen besides us chatting. I was planning for André to stage a battle between a few of us to impress his millions of fans, and throw out an NPC to battle Regis. Just to give us something else to do besides talking to each other. Since the characters seem hesitant about this whole situation, I’m not sure if everyone would even go for that.

It was also discussed on Discord that the characters visit a location that would have good memories for the group, and I’m thinking of putting in a playground the kids used to play at as kids in Aquacorde since that place literally has nothing in the games. Again, see previous problem. All the group seems hesitant about going along with this. Add other problem, it would still be more talking.

I’m stuck. >.<

Billy couldn’t believe it. Ever since his encounter with Wanda that day, his life had changed drastically. Now he was here playing Video Games in the Avengers Mansion like it was nothing. Now he was summoned to a mission by Captain America, and he would be working with actual superheroes that he idolized ever since he was a child. He wanted to thank the Scarlet Witch for everything she had done for him, but she suddenly went MIA…

He entered the situation room excitedly. So far, only a few other heroes had arrived. Billy recognized one of them right away, and immediately ran ahead to greet them. “Oh my gosh! I’m actually face to face with Spider-Man! Wow! This is so cool. Not as cool as meeting Scarlet Witch, but this is pretty high up there. I don’t care what the Bugle says. I still think you’re awesome!” Billy smiled nervously, unsure if that was the right thing to say… Then kept going trying to make this less awkward. “Sooo… my name is Billy… I mean Wiccan. Are we supposed to use our other names here or not? What’s it like being a super hero? It must be awesome swinging through the streets of New York. You got any advice for an up and comer like me?”

Just then, a white haired boy zipped in, and took a seat next to Ghost-Spider “I can’t believe I’m the one saying this, but slow down you nerd. You’re gonna embarrass yourself and Spider-Man!” He looked at the girl who had a similar, but also drastically different costume from Spider-Man’s “Can you believe this loser kind of looks like me? What’s up with that? Anyway, who are you? Spider-Man’s sidekick or somethin’? He doesn’t seem like the type to have one. It’s so much better to work alone. Less to worry about and whatnot. Honestly, I wouldn’t be here either, but it’s better than juvie.”

Tommy started fidgeting in his seat and snapping his fingers. “Can we hurry along please?! Let’s go! What’s taking so long to get this shit started?! I’ve got things to do and places to be!”

And just like that, the squid was dead, and the whole thing was over. He had made that giant squid illusion for nothing. What a waste! Viktor admitted to shooting the thing down. That wasn’t a surprise. Quite frankly, he didn’t understand why that wasn’t an option to begin with. Was that squid somebody’s pet? They could have shot it down, and Daphne wouldn’t have needed to put herself at risk like that, Ja… Kila… Whatever he was calling himself now… Wouldn’t have nearly drowned, and they would be in Atlantis by now. But, the last thing he wanted was to be agreeing with Viktor again, and Kassy was clearly upset by situation. Zach thought it best to keep his mouth shut this time.

The next thing on the agenda was attending Dr. Bingely’s lecture. At first, the doctor seemed like he was a cool dude… After hearing his presentation, Zach’s opinion quickly changed. ”Is anybody else besides me bothered by this?” Zach whispered to whatever teammate was nearby. “Magic is not some disease that needs to be cured. Spells don’t cast themselves, and magic is only as dangerous as the person wielding it.”

And then a guard busted in, and said they were needed at three different locations. Good thing, because Zach was sure he would have made a scene in front of the Atlanteans if this presentation had gone on longer. “So wise team leader, where do you want us to go?”

Race: Plant/Human Hybrid
Natural/Racial Abilities: Being part plant, he can breathe CO2, allowing him to survive in places that lack oxygen. He can also Photosynthesize, so he can go long periods of time without eating or sleeping (though he can still do both if he chooses.) He does require sunlight and water to function. Being cut off from sunlight can weaken him, and eventually kill him. He is also sensitive to heat and cold.

He can turn his skin from green back into a normal tone. He prefers his green skin though.

Distinguishing Features: The Green skin is hard to miss. Although he doesn’t have that all the time… There is always some form of plant life on him or around him.
Appearance: Pine is a tall and lean young man. He stands at six feet tall, and has a slim physique. He has a heart shaped face with a firm jaw. His eyes are as green as the forest. He has a mop of blonde hair on top of his head

Pine doesn’t have much of a taste for fashion in his day to day life. He dresses in casual jeans and T-shirts, often green in color and with floral patterns on them. Then other days he just wears floral patterns head to toe. He has even been known to wear flowers in his hair. In all of his outfits, he often wears a pair of thick green glasses.

Personality: Once upon a time, Pine was a shy and nerdy young man. He didn’t have an easy time socializing with people, and also didn’t have much confidence. After gaining his powers, he developed a bit more confidence, but he's still awkward when it comes to interactions with people. He is interested in science, and is particularly fascinated with plants. He often prefers his plants more than other people’s company. He hopes to one day become a scientist himself one day.

Some days, Pine hates humanity. His experience with being bullied, along with the way people take nature for granted, makes him think the world would be better off without humans. He can be rude to people when he first meets them. He can still be rude even after he first meets them. While he’s not opposed to using his powers for violent means, even outright killing people if necessary, he does know he needs some people around to produce CO2 for his plants to function.

There are other times when Pine longs for human companionship. If anyone shows him even the slightest hint of kindness, he will be all for it. He’ll cling to that person and be their best friend. At least until he perceives they did him wrong in some way. In general, his emotions can vary wildly at any given time.

History: Florian Pine was born to a pair of scientist parents. They studied plantlife, both in the lab and out in the field. They were often busy with their work, so they weren't around very much to raise their son. Sometimes they took him on research trips with them, but when they did, they often left him to his own devices. Even though his parents didn't show their affections all that much, Pine always knew he wanted to be a scientist just like them.

Growing up, Pine always had a fascination for plants. Something he got from his parents. On his free time, he would frolic in the flowers. He saw how often people would casually leave their trash on the floor in the forest, which could harm the environment. Pine would tell them to pick up their trash, and they'd just laugh him off. Others found his intense fascination to be odd. He was often bullied by others because he was physically weaker, psychologically delicate, and in their eyes he was just plain weird.

He would be picked on, beaten up, called demeaning nicknames, every kind of bullying you could imagine. He was even made fun of because his first name was Florian, which was weird. He also had to sit alone during lunch because no one else wanted to sit with him. Him trying to defend himself by saying it means flower did not help the matter.

Despite all the bullying, there was person who seemed to show him kindness. A boy named Evan often defended him from bullies. Evan was handsome and one of the most popular boys in school. Pine was shocked him of all people would take the time to defend him. They hung out together sometimes, and it was the first time Pine actually had a friend! He finally had somebody to sit with during lunch. It didn't take long for Pine to get a crush on Evan. After a long while, Pine finally built up the nerve to ask Evan out on a date. Evan politely turned him down. Pine was not happy about this, but he was able to move on with his life.

Than he heard Evan talking to his girlfriend in the hallway. She witnessed Pine asking her boyfriend out, and wanted to know what happened. Evan basically admitted to his girlfriend that he didn't like Pine all that much, and thought he was as weird as everyone else did. The only reason he defended him was out of pity. He told his girlfriend she was the most important person in his life, and kissed her. Now, Pine was devasted.

He ran away to his family’s garden. That always made him feel better. He had been there countless times. But this time, something happened. When he was done, he found that his skin turned green, and plants seemed to grow around him. He quickly showed his parents this new development. His parents were fascinated. Pine was immediately enrolled into Anepool Academy so he could learn to control his new abilities. Pine was glad to be away from those people who made his life hell.

He is now on his senior year of school. He mostly keeps himself at arms length from others, and is mostly devoted to his studies.
