This looks interesting, I came here from the int check and there’s just one thing I didn’t catch, if I just missed it I’ll find it, but why would a variant willingly give their information to N.O.V.A. in the first place, if not to become a Noble? Is there no other reason than for that?

This looks cool so I might make a character if there’s still room
@Ogobrogo

There’s no way you can tell me with a straight face that these two just wouldn’t do that lol.

There is no heterosexual explanation for the relationship between Kimiko and Mizo

Lmao
What if Mizo did the Reaper Death Seal on Kimiko just to prove a point...lol
The walk back into the woods away from the wellspring was...peaceful for the girls. Isolde couldn’t help but stare into the clouds that circled overhead, in front of the many, many stars that were out that night. Iris spent the walk pondering the vision that potion gave her, a heartless golem. That didn’t make sense to her, but she wanted to give it a try sometime. Of course, that would have to wait, since, wouldn’t you know it? Isolde and Iris were camping in the wilderness with their family tonight! A fire was already going and someone who probably had a flighty name was boiling water for tea...

”Oh, this looks fun...” Iris looked around and saw a few of the girls already in their pajamas, and god damn did Dakota and that other girl look unbelievably cute. Her eyes locked into that pretty little flannel on Dakota, she looked cute. What was she saying? Right. Camp. Iris didn’t really have anything sleep-related on her at the moment, but she had sweatpants on, so all she had to do was hang her denim coat up on a branch before sleeping. A thought ran into her head as she sat down in front of the fire. ”We should make drugs...” Iris said blatantly out loud in front of everyone. ”Who wants drugs?” She asked a little louder, giggling like a child. ”Hey! Dakota! Wanna make some drugs?”

Isolde Morden

Rather than plan to make illegal substances out in the forest, Isolde chose to snatch one of the books she brought before the camp. It was one of the books the Morden witches lived by, it had every possible piece of knowledge one could ever need when it came to wielding lightning. The front was decorated in odd, prismatic symbols that were probably meant to protect the book. Isolde simply curled up right in front of the fire to read further into the old thing before going to bed that night. It really was a beautiful night to stay outside. Isolde spent many nights like this alone. It looked like everyone came together nicely and just knew what to do. Firewood, water, drugs, everyone here seemed to know each other. She didn’t know exactly what she could do. But one of the girls did mention ghost stories, which pulled her nose out of the book.

”Well. I know a story or two from my home. None of them involve a ghost, but if you want a story, I could share.” She told the group.

Kara Samson

╚══════════════╝

In the blink of an eye, the girl who dropped Kara to the floor was no longer the girl who dropped Kara to the floor, thankfully the purple prison she was in wasn’t a thing anymore...Needless to say, seeing the entire coven go into a frenzy wasn’t a surprise considering there was a giant indescribable lizard monster on the loose. Mariah scrambled like an egg, Claudette shield herself in the distance, the catapult girl went purple and catapulted herself into the air. Kara herself? On the ground as that thing raged around like it owned the damn place. She was tumbling over her feet to turn around and run, when something - she didn’t know what, but something blasted the everloving Christ out of the lizard, thankfully Kara’s back was turned. She almost fell back over again from the sheer might of that blast. Her brain was mostly in autopilot mode, as she was only aware that these things could happen for a matter of hours as of now. Kara’s ears rung for a few seconds when she turned around to see the thing’s tail up in the air, a big purple mass of bones up there grabbing it like...like a cat? The entire coven was in chaos trying to run and this thing was just being held by...Madison?! Just how hard could that girl have thrown Kara if she really wanted to? Was that her abstraction? Seeing that monster made her heart pound, but seeing Madison keep it pulled back only made things run faster and faster through her mind.

Is this really what the coven was? Was this really the amount of chaos that could emerge from being in the coven? These were the kind of things that took Kara back, these people no doubt put up with this stuff every day. This mess, this monster could have just been a tip of the iceberg that Kara hasn’t even scratched the surface of, something had to be done. Surely Madison wouldn’t be able to keep that giant at bay forever? Kara had to do something...

Her abstraction...How fast could she...

”Everyone get out of here!”

Madison was protecting them. Seeing this lone woman so much as dare to put up a fight against something so beyond Kara’s own imagination for the sake of others stirred something in her. Normally, she would resonate with this, but the Leviathan was not a high school bully, and Kara was not Madison. Kara rattled her brain, thinking if she could help or not.

Time to find out...

Kara squared her breaths, took a few seconds to steel herself, and ran. She ran until there were almost 30 feet in front of her and the Leviathan. It was huge, but maybe this could work...Kara kneeled down and slammed her palms into the dirt, wood writhing through her arms, her fingers, her hands, and into the ground. Strands of muddy brown roots growing thicker and thicker permeated the ground as Kara rooted herself in place, the rumblings would be drowned out by this thing’s footsteps, more and more of her abstraction was poured into the earth so strongly, and so fastly that it almost hurt her hands to form wood that fast. Kara has never used her abstraction this fast, but the others were running for their lives, and Madison was the only one doing anything about it. In all honesty, the scene was inspiring. Kara felt motivated to fight this thing seeing Madison go up against it. The ground at the Leviathan’s feet started to break up, like something was trying to erupt. Kara never did this kind of thing, but she was going to try and trap the Leviathan with...

Roots.

”Agh! R-run!”

All at once, very thick and fluid tendrils of wood and bark blasted out of the ground, connected to Kara’s hands, with the hope to wrap around the limbs and head of the creature to restrain it. The pain in Kara’s hands was indescribable, but it was either this, or something else bad happened. The roots reached out more and more to entangle the Leviathan, slowly wrapping around its legs, it was slow of course, so it wasn’t likely to work, but Kara kept pushing her abstraction, trying to help as best she could. The roots were barely grabbing the legs, and just barely even reached its tail. Hopefully, Madison could keep it down for at least a while longer. ”D-don’t let go!” She screamed between painful sensations to Madison, unsure if she could actually hear with all the chaos going on. Kara focused on fighting the pain that stemmed from pushing her abstraction so hard, would this even work in the end? Probably not, either way Kara’s hands would definitely be injured in some fashion afterwards, but it was worth a shot.
Iris Aderast

That was wild

That bloody potion was very clearly not for human consumption, seeing as several of the witchlings - witches? - were either doubled over in pain, high as a kite, both, or healing someone who was a combination of the two. Iris, however, was just fine. She stood up a little dizzy, pondering the vision of the heartless golems she saw. It was strange, golems were literally impossible to create without a heart, Iris would know since she quite literally wrote the book on golemism. ”...I know what I’m doing first.” Iris mumbled to herself as she straightened out her graduation robes and made her way past Sister Deborah, pondering the things she did today. ”I could go for some more tea...” That was probably the first thing the airheaded girl would do, drink some ambiguous liquid and ponder the validity of its existence in her cup and hand. Naturally.

Isolde Morden

That was beautiful

Isolde stood up, she was a little more well composed compared to some of the new witches. It seemed like she got off easy, one of the initiates was vomiting, and being helped. It was definitely a rough process to handle, but they all made it. Internally, Isolde was thrilled, just being here was an honor for her, but as of today, she was a proper witch, and this was her home now. When the coven’s leader spoke, telling them to leave, she remembered she was supposed to let her know she was here. It was time to go back to the house, so Isolde got up and started walking until she got to the elder with the lantern, she remembered her name. The elders of Morden Mountain told Isolde about her and to let her know when she was here.

”Sister Deborah? My name is Isolde. Isolde Morden. I was told to let you know that I arrived from the mountain. I’m happy to be here.” She tried to keep a dignified tone in front of the elder. She stood up straight and tried to remain presentable. She didn’t know much about this woman, just that she was important in the coven, and not to mess with her. ”I’m honored that you allowed me to come here, sister.”

Take two supernatural boogaloo

Kara never really bothered to look behind her when the big shockwave hit, mainly because there were two big ass abstractions banging knuckles behind her, kicking up all manners of dirt and debris as Kara continued to book it while being only partially mesmerized by the orange light from Mariah’s abstraction. Sure, it was weird to look at, but that didn’t matter because Kara had the flag and Madison sure as hell didn’t throw her for nothing, right? Kara swore she heard someone yelling at her, but with all the commotion going on, this bitch wasn’t about to slow down and get crushed by Jurassic Ghost. In the corner of her eye, Kara saw a girl moving towards her, she didn’t register it since she was on the other team, so she tried to outrun the girl.

That very clearly didn’t work.

In the middle of storming across the field like there was no tomorrow, Kara felt a pair of legs come and absolutely dust her side. She got tackled to the ground. It was kind of painful considering the fact that she got slammed into the dirt. ”Ow! What w-“ Of course, in the sudden daze that felt like an eternity, someone got her flag. Honestly it felt some that woman broke her ribs, but Kara was fine. ”Great...” Not great. Suddenly Kara couldn’t move either!

A purple glow wrapped itself around Kara’s body like a a cage, and Kara couldn’t move. There were no two ways about it. Kara tried struggling all she could, the most she could do was shake her head back and forth and try to squirm, but somebody on the other team had her on lock down. Kara’s tree arm began to slowly slide back into its normal state as the bark dissipated. ”What is this? What’s happening?” The pain from getting finessed like a child was still lingering in her side as Kara’s eyes darted across the field trying to think of something. Meanwhile, the girl who called checkmate was already running off with the flag. It was funny, really, Kara’s abstraction was meant to protect people and she couldn’t protect herself from the least supernatural attack she had seen all day.

Smashing.

Fuck

Before Kara had time to do much as breathe, her marked arm was being gripped as whiplash took her body over. She couldn’t get a word out before the apparently very strong woman hurled her through the air. Straight at the flag. In a split second she could see that one of the women around her that was also launched like a fucking arbalest had already landed but Kara was still going. She made a mental defrost ration in her head that Mariah was there, and she still didn’t quite understand was was about to happen if Mariah got involved since she still didn’t know how Mariah’s abstraction worked. Apparently, one of them had some kind of telekinetic power, since when Kara locked her eyes on the flag, it was levitating in the air...perfect opportunity...”Almost...Got it!” She flailed her entire arm in the general direction of the flag, wooden matter violently forming around her sleeves in an instant to form some kind of connection around it, her arm had essentially been stretched by a foot as the flag made a sharp dink against her wooden hand, she flew forward another second or two - directly into the middle of everybody - when she landed flat on the ground, her arm still stretched and tree like as she had the breath knocked straight out of her... There was dirt in the air when she stood up, realizing that she not only had the flag, but she was in the middle of the field. Off to the side she could see a yellow...orange? Something that was probably aimed right at her.

The worst part was the tallest woman she had ever seen in her entire life was
running right the fuck at her!

Oh shit... ”I got it!” She turned around yelling to Madison, raising her bark covered arm that was visibly disproportionate to her body. Unfortunately, she just made this clear to everyone. She took a second to register her surroundings, Mariah, Emily in the ground, Grace over there...she wasn’t going to stand there and let a bunch of unknown powers get the best of her, she locked eyes on her “team” and started to run. Kara ran as fast as she could, the problem was the darkened sky put up by Claudette. It made it just a little hard to see, but she wasn’t tripping over things. She held her wood-covered arm close to her chest as she made a mad dash back to her side of the field, the entire time she had her back turned to literally everybody else, bolting past Emily. If she could get close enough she could stretch her arm further, but she needed time and she didn’t have that.

On the bright side...Kara didn’t get grabbed by her pants in a definitely, but subtle, gay way.

Not yet at least.
