Bio
I’ve been on this site since 2015, not quite Guildfall age but I’ve been around the block a few times. I like just about any kind of setting that I can get interested in as long as it’s fun, over the years, I’ve written a lot of them too, fantasy, modern, sci-fi, whatever sounds fun at a time. You might remember me from the time the guild had a chat room, that was fun.
I’m gonna drop Mizo here so everyone can read her, since I’ve mentioned her so much already lol.
Mizo Aberashi
Age: 37
Gender: Female
Height: 5’11”
Status: Karasu
Nature: Earth
Personality: Mizo is inherently solemn and often has the atmosphere of someone who is tired of the world. She used to enjoy spending time studying the more far out aspects of the shinobi world, like senjutsu, the history of the Rinnegan and the Sage of Six Paths, or sealing jutsu that she rarely hears anyone talk about. Despite her kind and mellow nature, when somebody gets under her skin, they get a good solid fist slammed into their stomach. Mizo may appear to be a generally peaceful shinobi, despite being a rogue ninja, but that is because of her past experiences with the deep seated hatred and suffering that comes with being a ninja. In another time, Mizo was proud to call herself a shinobi of Konoha, but now she feels nothing but pity and remorse for the land of fire, as well as the rest of the Great Nations. Though she is regarded as a villain and a national criminal by definition as well as her crimes, it is hard to see her as evil when you get to know her. Throughout her decent into the criminal world, the one thing she never forgot about being a shinobi was looking after comrades. “We are all ninja. We all are shinobi, there is no reason to kill each other. You don’t have to die because of who I am.” Mizo is the type of person to help a ninja she’s never met when they’re wounded, and help them back to their village whether she has to run for her life afterwards or not. Her heart still bleeds all the same for all shinobi as a whole, regardless of the borders they’re separated by.
Before now, as a genin, she didn’t think much of Konoha as a whole, she thought it was just a place, and that it wouldn’t matter if the people weren’t here. To Mizo’s genin self, Konoha wasn’t where the people were already, but where they are any time. It doesn’t sound like it makes a lot of sense, but it did to her, it was about the people living on the land, not the land itself, that Mizo cared about. Of course, she began to understand that the “Land” in “Land of Fire” wouldn’t be Konoha unless people spent countless generations making it what it is, by then, everything about her home meant the the world - literally - to Mizo.
Background: Growing up in the ninja academy, Mizo struggled with things like the basic clone jutsu or substitution, though she was great at taijutsu, which wasn’t special since most kids are. Mizo one day read a book on the earth style, and asked her teacher if she could try to learn the rock wall. Her teacher found it odd that a student who was underperforming at ninjutsu wanted to learn something like this, but also understood that everyone learned differently.
As it turned out, Mizo was a natural at things like the rock wall and mud clone. Her newfound skill awarded her a pass, and her teacher gave Mizo an alternative learning path, she would still learn shuriken throwing and chakra control, but anywhere that a jutsu could be replaced with earth style, She’d learn differently. A few years later, in the middle of her chunin rank, Mizo journeyed to Mount Myoboku to learn senjutsu from the Toad Sages, and it was by this point that her training began to feel like it was really coming together in her mind. She put earth style on the back burner and devoted her time to Sage Mode, eventually interweaving the two into her own genuine fighting style. Only a year or two later, she gave up on the village. Nobody knows why, not her old sensei, not her teammates, not her friends. No one. It was like a switch was flipped in her head, all that was left behind was a vague note stuck on her front door with a kunai.
“I’m tired of all this, can’t take it anymore. This isn’t anyone’s fault unless it’s everyone’s fault. Forget about me if you have to. Kill me, hunt me down, don’t care. It was fun while it lasted. Thanks for being my village.”
The note wasn’t found until early that morning, when no one could find her. She left with a packed bag in the middle of the night, she crossed into the Land of Rain before anyone had any idea. That was the last anyone had ever heard of her. None of her friends could ever figure out why she left, she had never once talked about it, she let things get to her sometimes, but she always cares about Konoha. No one could understand why she left, never.
Jutsu : Mizo is a grounded and levelheaded fighter. While she doesn’t fight very often, she goes all in when she does, mixing earth style tactics with brutal taijutsu punches. Mizo uses sage mode very often, there are few moments in any given day when nature energy isn’t flowing through her body in some capacity, meaning she’s able to fully activate senjutsu at any given moment, which is why she can fight with such titanic strength, and only just break a sweat. That is of course, if you can get her to actually fight you.
Ninja Art : Summoning Jutsu Summons a toad from Mount Myoboku. She didn’t learn this until a while after the chunin exams, when she learned senjutsu.
Earth Style : Rock Wall A literal wall of rock. Like a shield. It’s about ten feet high.
Earth Style : Mud Clone Mud clone. Simple enough.
Earth Style : Antlion Hole The ground beneath Mizo’s feet slowly starts to crumble away until she sinks underneath, only to seal itself shut once she’s buried underneath, she then listens for the vibrations in the ground, until somebody comes along for her to grab so she can have her way with them.
Earth Style : Sphere of Graves A very simple, but downright ridiculous jutsu involving pulling a very large chunk of rock out of the ground, big enough to destroy an iron hull of a ship, and throwing it at someone. While it doesn’t require much chakra, it does require physical most shinobi don’t have.
Mizo didn’t learn Senjutsu until she was around 16-17. Since then, she’s changed up her fighting style to revolve primarily around senjutsu.
Sage Art : Mountain Shield Like rock wall, but much bigger and stronger.
Sage Art : Canyon Slam A ground punch that splits open the earth, for trapping. The small canyon is roughly 30 feet deep, and is best used in large, spacious area.
Sage Art : Black Iron Sealing Pit Similar to Canyon Slam, but a straight drop deep into the earth, seals the target away with jet black chains that wrap around the target, pulling them deep into the dark chasm that closes behind them.
Sage Art : Toad Oil Mizo inhales air, and exhales oil, very flammable oil that can be sprayed a decent distance for as long as she exhales. It burns well, but needs to be ignited by something like a paper bomb, or fire style.
Sage Art : Toad Clay The ground becomes soft and mushy beneath one’s feet until they fall through, when the ground hardens, they’re stuck. It’s not terribly difficult to break free, unless the ground is made of stone or something else stronger than dirt.

Among the nations of today’s shinobi world, a potential threat has begun to emerge, an organization very slowly, but very steadily coming into the light. They are known as The Karasu. They are made up of rogue shinobi from various nations, very little is known about them, and it is not confirmed if Mizo Aberashi is in fact their leader. That conspiracy is attributed to the fact that she is known for being the most “active” member of the Karasu. They rarely engage in criminal acts, but when they do, they are alarmingly successful. Their crimes typically include high levels of larceny and attacks on very specific individuals. The most curious detail about Karasu is that, unless it is their exact goal, murder is never committed. If the Karasu are after money, they never harm anyone, instead knocking them unconscious or putting them under genjutsu. Rumors are beginning to circulate among the higher ups of Konoha’s shinobi that the Karasu are becoming more active. Whether that is true or not, is yet to be discovered.
Interestingly enough, the Karasu are not unpopular, despite being enigmatic. Traveling the roads of the Lands of Fire and Lightning, one often hears talk of the Karasu and encounters with their members, often saying things like “I’ve never heard of that place,” or “I owe them my life.” Though they are rogue ninjas, and national criminals, the citizens of the nations have a habit of painting them as honorable thieves. Of course, they’re not afraid to share any crimes they’ve witnessed with ninja forces, but a handful of people scattered across the land, such as farmers or shopkeepers, don’t mind the existence of the Karasu.
Across multiple shinobi villages, there have been the occasional report of ninjas and civilians simply disappearing without a trace. There are never very many, only one or two a year, but there is never any evidence other than the absence of the victim. The Kages do their absolute damndest to keep their villages from finding out about the Karasu, but the slightest rumors have begun to creep up in the villages as a result of missions out into the lands. Most think little of it, but the Kages, and their advisors are all too aware of the Karasu’s existence. Under normal circumstances, this organization would only be branded as successful thieves, but it is the nature of their rap sheets that separate them from Bandits. Reputable Kekkei Genkai shinobi going missing without a trace, nobles being robbed of their gold, and extra samurai patrolling the borders into the Land of Iron are not coincidental. Perhaps there is unrest growing in the shinobi world, or perhaps there is something deeper going on that the entire shinobi world isn’t ready to understand. Who are the Karasu?
”Leave this place behind. All the pain can be washed away, we will take you to a land where the past is meaningless. We will make a new future together. Join me.”
This is a Naruto AU set in the time of Shippuden, when Tsunade was the Hokage. All other events such as the war and the Infinite Tsukoyomi are irrelevant to the plot. It will be the same time but more like a parallel universe. The story will revolve around rumors of the Karasu spreading as they become more prevalent, as time passes, nearly everyone will be made aware of their existence, and there may very well come a time when you come face to face with their elusive members.
The characters you play as will influence the course of the story. Your character may come into contact directly with the Karasu behind the back of your village, for example. Have fun!
Rules
1) Be nice. Simple enough.
2) I will allow multiple characters, I’d recommend a max of two.
3) Your characters can have Kekkei Genkai, or Dojutsu as long as it’s reasonable. I’m 99.99% against having any jinchurki characters, but if anyone tries to make a character like that, I’ll allow it but go very hard on judging it.
To touch on that, no Uchihas, they’re dead.
4) If you want to make a character who is in the Karasu, PM your sheet to me, and we can talk more there.
!!! Karasu Read This : If your character is in the Karasu, they’re a rogue ninja, so some things will be known about them. For example, Mizo is one of the most well known because she’s been seen the most, they know she’s from Konoha, is an earth style user, and such. We will work on what is known about yours.
5) Settle big arguments somewhere other than my thread, please.
Any information on the recently linked organization that has or is yet to be discovered is listed here. Any shinobi involved in investigating them will be kept up to date on this. Very will ever see this information in the Village Hidden in The Leaves, or anywhere else. This applies to both IC and OOC.
The Karasu’s plan is to travel to a far away land, unheard of by even the people of the Land of Dragons. It is so far to the west that Mizo Aberashi herself is the only one alive that has ever laid eyes upon it. She refers to it as The Land of The Sun. The Karasu want to make their own nation in the enigmatic land, and take everyone they can with them. They do not force anyone to go, rather, they convince them of the good their idea brings. Why revolutionize the shining world in the five great nations, when you can simply start your own and run it yourself? The Karasu will lead their followers to the Land of Sun, and never return. They will all make an impact on the course of this new nation’s history, as it is a clean slate. Any shinobi who wants to bring the tradition of Shinobi Kumite and the Unison Sign is welcome. It will be a world full of potential, waiting to be solidified into a reality. Nobody knows about this plan, at least not yet. It will likely become common information when enough time passes.
I intend to make an actual CS for Mizo, since it’s not very friendly to hide a character from others, especially when I’ve mentioned her this much.

MIZO ABERASHI Hidden Leaf Jonin Rogue Ninja JUTSU Senjutsu Earth Style Unknown Sealing Technique NOTES She left the village a very long time ago, Mizo Aberashi has been encountered the most often, but never captured or killed. She knows what’s called Senjutsu, or Sage Mode, which is a testament to her sheer physical prowess. Her squad is long gone, so there’s no one who can be traced to her.
Never get close to her, never get in range of her Earth Style jutsu, or you’re done for.
TO BE EDITED.
Remember to DM this if you’re a member of the Karasu. Name :
Nickname :
Gender :
Age : You’re either a genin, a jonin, or something like that, so don’t be 8.
Appearance : Faceclaims, anime, descriptions, I don’t mind.
Personality : Mhm
Status : Are you a genin? A jonin? A Karasu? If you’re Karasu DM it
Chakra : All nature’s you know, including kekkei genkai. No Yin, Yang, or Inferno Style.
Jutsu : Try to separate these if at all possible, and be within reason, don’t make a Kekkei Touta with a Rinnegan and a Black Lightning Tattoo who can also open the 8th Gate of Death.
This includes things like Dojutsu, summonings, chakra styles, and such. Everything from how you handle shurikens to your greatest technique.
Background : Anything from whatever clan they might come from, why they may have joined the Karasu, and so on. This can be a big part of your character, depends on what you want to go for. Remember that, unless you’re Karasu, you’re probably from Konoha. Unless your family moved from the Land of Iron or something, you probably were born in the Leaf.
If you have any kind of feedback you wish to share, or suggestions to make things better for everyone, don’t hesitate to let me know!
I was considering a separate RP based on this concept, and I’d definitely enjoy having you two alongside to help write things. Mizo in this one would be quite a bit older and know a lot about the world outside of Konoha, such as the Land of Dragons and the story of the Sage of Six Paths.

The most important piece of information that had ever been revealed regarding the Karasu is the term “Land of Sun.” There is no such nation in the world, what could that possibly mean?
