She was feeling like her luck was starting to fail her. Kat was starting to hurt, but not badly enough to stop her. After a few seconds, she was back on her feet again. This guy waas definantly more fierce than the doctor woman she fought earlier. Just great, of course the one shop I want to go into has a zombie in it.

She was surprised when out of no where a woman ran up and tried to distract the guy. This confused her, and like always she was a little cautious of the woman. With the man dealing with Seraphina, she looked for an opening in which she could send her weapons flying. The knives in her hands were itching and raring to go. Kat was bouncing around slightly on her feet, and whenever she found an opening to hit him in the head with her knives, she took it.

"I don't know if you know this, but aim for the head and try to slice it up or something. Fought one of these things before I came here, and after enough damage to its head it will stop moving." she said to Seraphina and Sylvia, still taking aim with her knives and throwing them whenever she got a clear shot.

Daphne knew better than to bother the Captain, or for that matter Camilla. The woman practically stormed down the hallway. She thought better than to ask, and when she reached the bridge, she sat down in her usual seat at the console and let out a deep breath. There was no denying the fact that she was tired and had been practically running around the ship helping out and trying to get the ship off the ground again. She had been off the ship twice in only a few hours, and she felt like she needed to sleep. Daphne never really liked sleeping, and felt like it was only a necessary evil that she had to do.

She looked over at the controls, and started to doze slightly while sitting there. After a minute, she jolted back up right, and pushed her weariness off to the side. Daphne laughed to herself, and felt her exhaustion leave and become more like energy. She knew that she would totally crash eventually, but if the Captain could still be going, so could she. Looking at the controls once more, she spoke softly to herself, "Don't worry old girl, you'll be back in the air in no time once Gideon gets back."

You have got to be kidding me! Katsumi thought as she was thrown to the ground by the man. This guy was stronger than the woman that she had fought earlier, but figured that the way to kill him would be the same. She was extremely grateful that she restocked her weaponry when she went to her apartment.

Alright, the lady went down when I did enough damage to her brain. Man I'm starting to wish that I had some sort of knowledge of the human anatomy so I could figure out the major areas. Oh well, here we go again!

Kat jumps up, trying to kick the guy as she went up to her feet. Her knives slipping down her arms into her hands. She tries to kick him again as she whirled around, attempting to stab him in the head with one of her blades, and she hoped that she could use her speed to her advantage. She also hoped that luck would be on her side.

Daphne still was not happy with her sister, but that could not be helped since she needed to probably be back at the ship. The trip was quick and uneventful thankfully for her. She could not stand having to deal with anything right now, especially with Patience. Daphne hopped off of their vehicle and headed towards her room. She felt that she needed to be alone and calm down before she runs into the Captain with her bad mood. As she walked over to her room, she saw the Captain's door was shut. Wondering who she is yelling at now? she thought as she walked across the hallway to her own room.

She was content at being in the confines of her own room. Daphne went over and sat on her bed, taking several deep breaths to calm herself. She was still mad, but after several minutes, it puttered down to the point where she could easily manage it. She contemplated working on the puzzle that was sitting in the corner of the room, but decided not to. There wasn't anything to be gained by her sitting around doing nothing. Daphne walked out again, but instead of heading towards the area where most every other member of the crew probably was, she still preferred to be alone at the moment. She went over to the bridge area, sitting down in the pilot's seat, looking out at the desert surrounding the ship.

She was annoyed with her mother, then again, when wasn't she. Of course, she wanted to yell back at her mother when she basically insulted her hair, but she was relieved when Poison Ivy left. Marygold thought of leaving too, but thought about Folly. She did not want to leave her here with that madman.

Marygold just stayed where she was, hoping for this to be over soon. The explosion practically knocked her out of her chair. A mob of prisoners showed up and started attacking the shrink. Well, this just made things interesting. Wonder who decided that there was going to be a jailbreak right now. She was confused, but by now she was out of her seat, and backing away from the mob.

It is getting close to departure, the final preparations are being made outside of the ship. Several members of the crew are heading to their stations, waiting for the word to go.

Tetra leaves the mess when it starts getting close to departure. She needed to be ready to give the orders and to not be late. She felt like she made a fool of herself showing up late to the crew gathering, but hoped to not let that happen again. The Captain walked up towards the bridge, saying hello to any crewman that she passed. Tetra was not one to back down easily, and hoped that she could become more friendly with the crew as time goes on.

She saw a few members of the crew were already in their places, and she smiled at their readiness. She sat down in her chair, pulling up a few of the ship schematics on her small computer. Tetra started looking through them more thoroughly. It was about time she got to knew the ship that she was going to be Captain of. No matter how much she hated learning the mechanics of anything.

Zach was confused by Decker, trying to understand what she was saying. He didn't know much about what was going on down at the Jefferson Farm, but he had heard about the cattle dying. He wondered if he should ask, but was never given the chance to. Out of nowhere, Decker started slowing down the car, he followed her gaze and saw a man standing in front of them. Zachary thought to himself about how he had never seen the man before. Sadly, those were the last thoughts he made as the man dropped the body he was carrying and snapped. Causing their car to go up in smoke...

As Kat exited the apartment building, she felt that everything was dead. With the streets filled with chaos, and everything destroyed, she felt utterly alone. She hoped that this wasn't the case, wondering if anyone else might be hiding out somewhere nearby, but that didn't matter. Katsumi had more pressing issues to take care of, and her limited understanding of all things undead still annoyed her.

She walked the streets towards the shopping area, still trying to remember what that shop's name was. Yet all she could remember was what was inside of the shop. She kept walking, hoping to get off of the streets quickly in order to not be noticed by anyone. Katsumi walked into the shopping area, scanning the shops, trying to find the one she had been at the day before.

Daphne understood Gideon's concern. It would be better if she and Gene headed back to the ship, making it so there was someone who wasn't shot flying if they had to make an emergency take off. There was one thing that did bother her slightly. She didn't care much for the fact that Dorothy was basically ordering her around. Seems to me she feels like she is in charge here, she thought to herself as she turned towards Gene.

Daphne walked back towards there vehicle, trying to hide her anger. She could feel herself grow a little warm at this, but she turned away from the others so they wouldn't see her. She hated it when Dorothy went into her little military mind set, and it made Daphne feel out of place. Sometimes she would wish that Dorothy would actually talk more like a normal person.

"Get a rendezvous point if you want Gene. Let's get back before more problems arise from us being here," she said as she climbed into the pilot's seat, not wanting to talk anymore.
