Lisa has somewhat of a curvy figure, but an otherwise trained and defined one as well, one with both fat and muscle. Due to her heavy eating habits (generating from her powers requiring a whole lot of eating), she's gained that figure from storing that energy from no use of her abilities. Otherwise, she wears two small ear piercings, one on each ear, and her eyes turn from brown to glowing bright blue every time she uses her abilities. She has a few blemishes and scars along her body from various fights she has participated in the past, but they aren't too noticeable.

When making first impressions, typically Ms. Martinez would wear a full business suit, typically a black one with a dark grey shirt, while having digital reflective aviator glasses (a pair of aviators that look dark and reflective from the outside but they digitally brighten/darken whatever the wearer sees). Often times, when she's out on duty, she's normally wearing a black jacket, white T-shirt, same reflective glasses, and a pair of black jeans and grey tennis shoes. When off duty, she simply just takes the glasses and jacket off. Her hairstyle is typically of that shown in the picture below.

Psychokinesis: She can move objects with the will of her mind. She can also produce force fields/barriers, and create slight wind. She can make still objects move, and moving objects still.
Raw Force: She can add force to anything she's holding or is moving with her body, such as adding force to a hammer or to her fists to make the target suffer much more damage.

Her powers require a whole lot of energy. Regular usage requires her to eat a lot, so as a result, she's put on some weight. It also drains her both physically and mentally if used a lot throughout the entire day, but due to a lot of experience, she's able to add more power to the forces she throws out while using less energy. Her eyes also turn bright blue when she uses her powers, which can signal her opponent that she's just about to attack.

With the ability to use her mind to move things around comes the ability to be a very intelligent and outstanding individual as well. She was very dedicated when she was in school, and is still dedicated now, as many people left the Powerbound Alliance after their tour in Syria. Her dedication also comes with her bravery, one that allows her to be headstrong in the face of adversity, and one that allows her to protect those she cares about. Most of these traits are that you would expect of a hero, and Lisa herself fits the bill nice, as she is a caring person who often understands the struggle of others. Most of the time, while she is cynical, she tries to make other people feel better, mainly because she knows what it's like to be depressed, and doesn't wish that on anyone she cares about.

However, that's the good part of her. While she is smart, dedicated and brave, she is also very cynical as a result of her horrific past, especially growing up in the awful hive of scum and villainy known only as Bogota, Colombia. Her negative outlook on life often clouds her judgement as a hero, but with the way things are looking, she knows where things might go, as she has the experience to back herself up. She's also had quite a vengeful personality after the death of her family, and especially after feeling the satisfaction of blowing the brains out from a cartel leader responsible for the killings. However, while she is vengeful, she would never step too far with those she cares about, as she normally has standards regarding that.

| History |
Lisa Martinez was born under a mother who died during childbirth, and a father who was a police officer in the National Police of Colombia. Her older brother Miguel would often pick up the slack of raising Lisa, all the way up until she was six, where she was already starting to take care of herself somewhat. While she lived in Bogota, she grew up in a poverty-stricken neighboorhood, near the shantytowns that made up the suburbs of the city. While her father was not around as often as her older brother was, he often told her to do good in school, and always strive to become a better person. It wasn't until Lisa was 14 that both her brother and her father were killed in their home by Colombian Cartel gunmen, her father having arrested a cartel leader shortly beforehand. Stricken by fear, sorrow and hate, Lisa fled her home and ended up living with her uncle. When she discovered the bodies of her brother and father is when she discovered her powers, and ever since then, she has been practicing them in secret, sometimes knocking over a plant or a can or something, often playing pranks on other students and teachers, and on coworkers after she graduated school. Ever since the death of her family, she's vowed to take on the cartels herself, once she becomes more powerful.

Things have been relatively quiet for her up until she turned 25, where she was invited to join the Powerbound Alliance. After lots of careful consideration, she decided to join the alliance in hopes of having a better life, or to at least use her powers for good. It was then she met with the Original Heroes, where they helped her move to upstate New York to do some work, and to hone on her powers. With the Original Heroes, she had participated in many different events, including doing some humanitarian work in Syria (and helping the local Kurds kick ISIS out of the country). After a short tour in Syria, she travelled all around the world with the Original Heroes, up until April 19th, 2021, when the Powerbound Alliance wanted to move their safehouse from Upstate New York to Bogota, Colombia, in order to evade the huge surveillance network that the US Government has built on their own soil. After some careful planning, Lisa and the Original Heroes were able to take on the Colombian Drug Cartel, the very same ones that killed her family, and after a seamless fight that was heavily within the favor of the Powerbound Alliance, the Original Heroes allowed Lisa to deliver the final blow to the cartel leader, shooting him in the head with the FNX-45 Tactical that belonged to one of the Original Heroes. After that, the mansion belonged to the Powerbound Alliance, as well as all of its assets. It was then that things started to look up, and Lisa was actually well within the ranks of the Original Heroes.

For some time, she's been doing work with the Powerbound Alliance. Participating in revolutions, cleaning out the political houses of the world, snuffing out terrorist organizations and tearing down sex trade rings. And, of course, helping the Powerbound Alliance set up their HQ in the old cartel mansion that was recently cleared out in Bogota, Colombia. Ever since then, she's been in charge of recruiting new members for the Powerbound Alliance. Soon after she turned 34, the Original Heroes left the Powerbound Sanctuary and split up, going all over the world and embedding themselves in areas not even Lisa knows. After that, she was left to become second-in-command of the Powerbound Alliance, where she will continue to recruit new members and train them to this day.

Powers: Cell and Tissue regeneration
The current head of the Powerbound Alliance Sanctuary, as well as the head of the alliance itself. He assumed command of the organization right after the Original Heroes disappeared off the face of the planet, and has since then ran things. Before the Original Heroes disappeared, he was originally the financier of the Sanctuary, who often managed the money, food, supplies and other stuff that went in and out of the Sanctuary. Even though he never was with the Original Heroes before Colombia, he and Daran are very good friends and are very tight. Nowadays, he's just managing the resources of the Powerbound Alliance and keeping order within the Sanctuary... including but not limited to keeping Dr. Chaos in check.

The mad scientist that does most of the sciencey-stuff around the Sanctuary. He's crazy as crazy gets, and he can create almost anything to his hearts desire, due to how much he knows about the universe. However, due to his insane knowledge, he lost his sane and rational part of his mind, as well as a little bit of his morality. Many of his crazy creations include that of light bulletproof armor, kiwi-flavored mice, cybernetic technology, power buff drinks, stuff that makes human hair catch on fire almost immediately, a knife that boils the blood of its victims on contact, a car the drives itself... off a cliff, and last but not least... ThunderChicken.

The Sanctuary's Head of Security. He's worked with the Original Heroes and the Alliance ever since it first established its roots in Colombia. Being a native Colombian, he signed up the moment he heard that they were going to take down a cartel. Using his skills he gained as a Colombian Soldier, he was able to help the Alliance destroy the cartel and build the Sanctuary. Ever since then, he was head of security. He comes armed with a variety of weapons on the job, but he just normally carries a Glock with him.

Vance Allen's secretary who has been with the Alliance for as long as it has been in Colombia. She was invited by one of the Original Heroes to become a secretary and record-keeper for the Alliance due to her ability to absorb all kinds of information and remember it. After fleeing Venezuela, she's been a secretary for the Alliance ever since it established its roots at the Sanctuary.

It wasn't until her search led to the Powerbound Alliance, who then invited her to help keep up the library of their sanctuary, and help them find more people to join. She's the one who finds those to send letters to.

Manuelo was originally a construction worker in Bogota, before he was invited to work as a maintenance worker for the Sanctuary up in the hills. However, ever since most of the original heroes left, he was the only one who could maintain the mansion, and he was often left up to the jobs of cooking and security as well. Unlike Cortez, though, he prefers not to use guns.

Torvald was the only one of the Original Heroes that never actually disappeared from existence, like the others have. However, he's not much one to talk either, as he often broods on his own and prefers to be alone. He fears that he may end up hurting someone by accident, which is why he keeps himself away from people, but if his friends need him, he'll be around. People call him "Amarok" as part of an inside joke for the longest time, though.

The Kurdish unit that the Powerbound Alliance fought with in the past against many terrorist threats in the area, and ever since Kurdistan became an independent country, they became a mercenary group known only as The 32nd, performing a variety of black ops all over the globe. They are brave freedom-loving egalitarian men and women with lots of experience under their belt. Some of them young, some of them old, all of them deadly. Due to their allegiance to the Powerbound Alliance and their ability to travel, they are able to help with missions of many kinds. They are armed with VHS-2 rifles as their standard firearm, but they carry a variety of other weapons for other purposes. They also have a few helicopters in their name, and use them to travel abroad.

Daran Soraw

The commander of the 32nd. He is very familiar with the Powerbound Alliance and the original heroes, and ever since he fought with them all across the middle east, he's been on very friendly terms with them and is willing to go above and beyond to help them out. He, as well as the 32nd, are the very few people on the planet that accept the Supernatural with open arms, as they understand their struggle, and found them to be very helpful. He carries a P1 pistol issued to him from the Germans during the war against ISIS years ago.

She's a commander of a squad within the 32nd, and Daran's best friend. A veteran of the Syrian and Iraqi civil wars, she's been in the game ever since she was 16. An idealistic woman and a staunch believer in the words of Ocalan about gender equality, equality amongst the races and a land for the people, one could say that she's one of the many "good communists". She carries the standard 32nd loadout, and is quite a fierce and deadly warrior.

Armed with nothing but a large, powerful and deadly .50 caliber sniper rifle, this member of the 32nd is not to be trifled with. A skilled sniper having been trained by the best and most experienced veterans of the Syrian Civil War, she's got pretty good skills, for a rookie. She often works with Sivan, who is often her spotter.

Often times, when Sivan is a spotter, he'd be the one to crack jokes and riff on the situation as the mission progresses, much to the dismay of Sirin and almost everyone else. He's also quite the drinker, so expect him to fuck up at something at least.

April 1st, 2026. Quite a few things have changed in the past 10 years. The Western Civilization has cleaned house, as a result of many protests, movements and changes made in the political aspect of many nations, including that of the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Germany and Australia. With the Age of Information in full swing, the truth of our world was brought to the light of the people, and at this point, they were upset, and they wanted change. This wave of change that took place from early 2014 all the way up to late 2021 is what brought reform to many nations around the globe. Governments were overthrown in the weakest of nations, and while some of them were replaced with newer, better governments, some were replaced with weak governments that allowed criminals, rebels and terrorists to live in their midst, and tyrannical governments that were worse than their predecessors. The dust was finally starting to settle this year, and after a rough few years around the world, many can say that it changed for the better, but some will say it changed for the worst.

While the seedy truths of the world governments, fortune 500 companies and massive NGO superpowers were surfaced within the sights of the people, many people have discovered the existence of the supernatural, and that it has been kept hidden from the public for the longest amount of time. The supernatural was a term that included the existence of superhumans, demons, angels, aliens, and even other forms of life that no one thought existed. For the longest amount of time, these beings, whether they be heroes, villains, or neutral individuals, kept their existence hidden for the longest amount of time, whether it would be from living in isolation or being incognito amongst many normal folks around them. However, once the truth was brought to light, no one believed them. They were either covered up or dismissed as hoaxes. Many of the world's inhabitants were ignorant of the existence of these supernatural beings... until now.

A week beforehand, letter was sent to quite a few of those individuals themselves. Most of these letters went to people who lived around the Southern California area, but some of the letters were sent all over the globe. The letter itself invited the reader to meet the writer over at Dock 32 in San Diego, California, and to bring a whole lot of their personal belongings, as they are recruiting talented individuals such as themselves. The letter was quite formal, and very polite, and it was personalized to everyone, as well as the abilities they possessed. However, all of them had the same property: they were all signed by Lisa Martinez, and had a unique emblem stamped on it, an emblem that read Powerbound Alliance.

And so, the adventure begins!

Worldbuilding Stuff - Will updated with suggestions and RP duration

Nations

Quite a few things have changed in that of the world governments. Massive reform was brought to that of Western Nations, especially that of the United States, Britain, Canada, Australia and Germany, as their people were fed up with the way things were, and demanded change to be made. Corporate welfare were done for, corporation's power over the people and the government was throttled, corrupt politians were impeached and voted out of office, and workers were paid and protected as they should have been. While the people got their rights back, some had them taken away from even more. Surveillance was everywhere, police officers in America were getting rougher and more militarized, and violence was at an increase.

However, things didn't go so well for those in countries who aren't as well off as those in the West. While the war in Syria ended, it left the country in such great ruin, that the victorious faction couldn't even bring repairs to it in any way shape or form. A few other nations in the Middle East have crumbled, including that of Kazakstan and Oman. The Venezuelan government has also caved, and was taken over by a right-wing facist party, and quite a few countries in Africa also fell to rebels demanding change. However, Iraqi Kurdistan was granted independence, and was very swiftly under the control of the PUK. Scotland was also granted independence, and so was Somaliland. Tensions are growing in between Kurdistan and Turkey, and things are shifting into the fascist territory in South America.

COLOMBIA

Colombia hasn't changed much since 2016, still running under a somewhat flawed democracy with some rigged elections and stuff like that, but people were living contently, despite some of the crime that goes around in the cities and the massive poverty rates that the many people in the country suffer from. For a while, the drug cartels in the country ran the streets, and ran the government as well. People who got involved, either by accident or on purpose, were often maimed, tortured, put into poverty, or murdered with their entire families. Even with police crackdowns, nothing really changed much, except that the Cartels were much less public about what they did. Things changed though when the Powerbound Alliance showed up, where in a few months time, they took control of the many cartels that ran Colombia by destroying their product, severing the head of the snake, and taking all of the cash. By then, the economy of Colombia was starting to recover now that the money was no longer being taken or kept from the people, but many are dissatisfied, and still believe the drug cartels are still running things and hurting people...

KURDISTAN

The Kurds finally got their shot of glory once ISIS showed up to their doorsteps in 2012, in both Syria and Iraq. Once ISIS took away swaths of land from the governments of both nations (Iraq was particularly a fucking pussy at the time), the Kurds stood strong, and with their under-trained and poorly-equipped militias, they were able to hold back a whole lot of ISIS advances. Once the Coalition got involved, the Kurds took back huge swaths of land, even land that they lost to Suddam Hussein in the 1980s when he committed mass genocide on the Kurds. After ISIS was pummelled into submission in 2018, Kurdistan was recognized as a country by the United Nations, and the United States under the Sanders Administration. Soon after the country gained its independence, it flourished economically, no longer having to depend on the Iraqi Government for its economy, now able to establish economic ties with so many other countries. However, now that the country saw its power, the leftist PUK party took over the majority of the parliament, and swift changes were made to the country. Kurdistan, to this day, remains as one of the most progressive nations in the Middle East, leading the charge in gender equality, racial equality and worker's rights... though it still has to work on the whole gay rights thing. Now that it is a sovereign nation, the eyes of the world remain on it, and Turkey is cocking its gun...

UNITED STATES

The United States saw a great wave of change ever since 2016. With the election being a major clusterfuck, people wanted change, and were tired of being pushed around by both the government and the companies that paid them slave wages and bought out the said government. After overcoming voter suppression, media manipulation and internet trolls, the Bernie Sanders movement prevailed, and after Sanders was elected into office in 2016, the movement continued, and inspired change all around the world. Companies lost their choking grip on the people, and no longer were they able to buy out the government. Alternative fuels and earth conservation efforts were already underway, and the United States saw massive reform. However, as a result, it became somewhat of a nanny state, and with corporate puppets out, government puppets were in, and surveillance became a much bigger thing in the states. By 2026, everyone in the United States was relying on technology someway or another, but thank god the Hipster movement allowed drops in obesity.

Technology

Technology has progressed significantly in the 10 years that came after the first spark of political change. 3D printing became extremely popular, making huge strides in modern medicine, as well as that of building weapons, armor, vehicles, tools and countless of other goods. Holographic computers are in its infancy, but widespread use is to be projected. Virtual Reality machines are very pervasive among those in the west, and while many use much smaller and much more lighter sets of HTC Vive headsets nowadays, people still watch their television and do other things on very flat LCD screens. Nowadays, a whole lot of phones and computers are done on flat and safe pieces of transparent plastic (glass too dangerous), that plastic housing the holographic tech that has yet come to project into thin air.

Modern medicine, as a result of 3D Printing and improved medicinal discoveries, has increased the average human lifespan to about 90 years of age, and has made medicine affordable to that of even the unfortunate of populations. Nanotechnology has enabled faster health regeneration, and 3D printing has made organ transplants much easier and much safer. And with the advent of robotic technology as well, handicapped persons are blessed with cybernetics to help them walk again. Wrist-bound computers are used among the military, nicknamed "Swiss Army Knifes", as these wrist-bound computers often come equipped with blades, launchers, lasers and flashlights to aide the user in combat.

COMMON DEVICES

Cell phones have become so commonplace in society, landline phones are no longer in use, aside from businesses, organizations and large buildings. Console games are now a more family-oriented product, as PC gaming has slowly taken over the world in the past 10 years. Virtual reality is also commonplace, used in conjunction with PCs, with some owners having entire rooms dedicated to playing in virtual reality. Viruix Omni treadmills are also becoming a thing, with some new technology that allows poeple to game virtually with their whole bodies without having to move from their spot. Some filmmakers have made Virtual Reality movies as well, though they haven't taken off so well. PCs now have insane processing power, and are much smaller now, and are able to render 3D working environments for more advanced users. Like with Virtual Reality, headsets that enable the user to see projected images ahead of them (Google Glass, Microsoft Hololens) are being used for both homes and businesses for many entertaining and useful purposes. 3D printers are also somewhat commonplace in homes now, as they manufacture parts, tools and small objects with ease.

MEDICINE

With the advent of 3D printing, research has allowed 3D printers to create new parts for the human body, and allow people to use these parts to heal themselves. While making human clones are still illegal, it's now possible with the best of 3D Printing technology. With the help of this technology, armed forces in most Western countries were able to upgrade their own bodies (tougher bones, tougher skin, etc.) to help them perform their duties. However, most developing nations are still trying this out, but they are successfully implementing it for basic medical needs. With recent changes in Big Pharma under the Sanders administration and the Warren Administration, medicine is now safe to use, and is easily affordable for most people. Cancer treatment has gotten better with the advent of laser technology, and some cancers have already found cures once the grip of Big Pharma was loosened from the government.

ENERGY

Alternative energies have been making huge strides all across the globe. Geothermal plants in South America, solar plants in Africa, Wind and Solar plants in Europe and Middle East, and a combination of all three in North America and Asia. Most vehicles are using a much more efficient combustion fuel that doesn't emit as much carbon, as the transition to electric motors are still underway. Homes are using more electricity than gas, as the efficiency of alternative energy sources has significantly increased, with lots of output that powers entire cities almost threefold. It's not too hard to find windmills around the world anymore!

WARFARE

Wars nowadays are still being fought with air power, drones and special forces units on the ground, as standing armies are only being used to occupy territory or to show off in parades. However, with the advent of robotic technology, drones and mechs are becoming more popular amongst most industrialized nations, though the riflemen and tanks military type are still seen in use all across the third world, as they still fight the old fashioned way. Most modern soldiers wear complicated uniforms, with lots of armor, electronic gear and such, though some militaries still keep the traditional armor+helmet combination with a few accessories here and there. Most modern soldiers are armed with some special 3D-printed armor that blocks most rifle shots and shrapnel, a ballistic helmet, a pair of HUD goggles, standard mask+uniform for environment, an armbound computer and a tactical gauntlet (with a light, grenade launcher and a knife), and some other protective stuff. As well as their weapons, of course. Though due to how most wars are fought with robots and drones now, all of that tech is only used to demonstrate power rather than use it.

Rules

0. Listen to GM - I know this is obvious but my word is law. However, please do not hesitate to PM me for absolutely anything, as I am lonely sometimes and I do not want to be a dick. xD

1. Have Common Sense - Rules are same as that on the site. However, excessive cursing is allowed in my book as long as it is IC dialogue. However, please follow all site rules if you don't want to get in trouble.

2. Have Respect - I will not tolerate any rudeness, drama or anything else along those lines OOC. IC drama/disrespect/rudness is cool, especially if you guys work it out OOC amicably. OOCly, please take all of that drama to the PMs instead and work it out. I will have none of it. Also, if you do have a problem with me, as I said above, please talk to me about it, and I will try my best to get it all sorted out, okay?

3. Have Decency - Please keep all interactions T for Teen, PG-13 or whatever it is in other countries. While I am fine with mature interaction, this site isn't, so I don't want to get banned. Please keep all of the excessive swearing in IC dialogue, and keep all sexual contact to just kissing. Use a timelapse of some sort to skip past mature scenes, and if you guys want to play it out, please play it out via PMs. Also please refrain from using offensive/derogatory terms OOCly as well.

4. Have Verbosity - Please, for the love of GOD, post with at least three paragraphs of non-dialogue/action! Details, descriptions, all of that is absolutely appreciated, we really want to know what your character is thinking, feeling, doing, all of that! The more details you can put in a post, the better. However, do not bloat out posts with actions from other characters, just react to them, and put in what is needed for us to get a good idea of what's going on with your character and what's inside his/her head. This is a High-Casual RP, so I suggest you bring your A-Game! :D Also collab posts made in between players are totally allowed and encouraged.

5. Have Good Attendance - While I don't want you to check in every single day of the week, that would be appreciated though. Please post at least twice or three times a week. The more frequent, the better. That way we don't have to wait for posts from other characters. I'm a very frequent poster so you don't have to worry about me. However, if you're going to be away from the site for a bit, please let us know ahead of time in the OOC and we'll skip, and let you pick up once you get back. If the RP stagnates, I'll either suggest a timelapse or let people post flashbacks to give their character(s) some more backstory.

6. Have Good Character(s) - Good characters are a MUST, and diversity is ENCOURAGED. Please take your time, and please put a whole lot of love into your characters, so that way I have a good idea of who's who, and what kind of people they are. However, the characters NEED TO BE APPROVED BEFORE THEY ARE POSTED UNDER THE "CHARACTERS" TAB. Please mention me so I can approve your character. Lower-tiered characters (like that with powers that are not that powerful yet but are powerful later on) is EXTREMELY ENCOURAGED, but not required. There are also those playable races:

Please do NOT make god-mode sues or any other super-powerful character that can make the combat part of these RPs extremely easy. I want to give them challenges and struggles. Cakewalks are boring and frustrating. Again, put lots of detail and lots of love into your character sheets, otherwise they won't be accepted. Below are the powers that are banned from use in the RP.

BANNED POWERS

1. Shit people are already doing, it would make the RP a little less fun. Variety is the spice of life <3
2. Anything that make any conflict a cakewalk for the character. They can become more powerful to the point where it will be a cakewalk for them, but don't make them start off too powerful. This can be overridden with behavior (like the person is a pacifist and will show restraint to not kill his enemies... a bad example but an example nonetheless). Depends.
3. Any power that will destroy planets/universe/moons/cities/whatever.
4. Any power that will destroy the RP itself, whether it would halt the RP or just make the RP no longer fun.
5. I don't know, just whatever I see that could cause a whole lot of problems. I'm GM, and my word is LAWWWWWW!!!

Please mention me whenever you put up your character sheet. When this RP is labelled "FULL", I will NOT accept any characters under any circumstances. However, is there's a shortage of characters, I will allow people to join in progress, but you would have to talk with me about that first so the process would be seamless.
