@Archmage MC @Morose @Gilgex The reason why I had the alignments is so we have a good idea of how our character operates. They aren't supposed to be a guideline, just a little bit of a summary/flag. Like how Vance Allen is Lawful Good because of his sophistication and his upholding of the side of Order in the Sanctuary, and how Daran Soraw is Chaotic Good because he and some of the 32nd were guerrillas back in 2014 and still use guerrilla tactics to this day, despite now being part of a formal standing army. That's all. :)

Okay, let me get a few things off the bat. I already said in the rules that I don't appreciate OOC drama, so I have every right to get pissed this time. Okay? Okay. Secondly, you guys should have sorted this out through PMs... though it wouldn't have gotten to my attention otherwise so... thanks I guess? Third, @Archmage MC and I were talking about Light earlier via PMs, and I predicted that this kind of reaction was going to happen. I'll explain why I was okay with this kind of character.

1. I have played 4th-wall breaking comedic characters before, but their 4th-wall awareness was also played for drama. I actually had plans for bringing in 2 of them in this RP, for them to be both funny and serious characters. I see that potential in Light as well, and I kinda liked the idea of having a cartoon in the mix.

2. The character sheet looked alright to me on the phone, skimmed. I didn't approve yet because I was gonna give it a more thorough analysis, and make the necessary changes after I finished analyzing it. Now thanks to you guys, you have given me a god damn ultimatum. Shame on you.

3. The reactions from Lisa, as well as those in the 32nd, would've been freaking hilarious.

Now, @FrozenEcstasy, @Dead Cruiser, I hope you understand why I allowed this character (so far) and why I am angry. I was out having a bonfire with my family until this shit happened so thanks a lot. Listen, I have a solution on the table that allows both parties to be happy. Archmage can make a serious (by serious I mean a well-fleshed out character that Archmage just mentioned, nothing emo or stupid) character for posting in all scenarios, so when something serious happens, we can shoo out the clowns and allow the serious moment to play out. However, @Pundii has a point, Light has some potential to be in a serious moment. I still have to analyze her though. Are you guys happy with that idea?

And if you're worrying about her "Not dying", there are many ways to put her out of commission. And besides, you guys are working together anyway, and I didn't have any plans on killing any player-based characters (if that happened, the player couldn't post no more and that's no fun for anyone). As for the lower-tiered superpowers rule, that was a Extremely Recommended Option that's not required. Arch-mage's serious character can be lower-tiered like the others, and can progress with the others as well.

Looking at @Angel Eyes post, I just realized why many of you are angry with this character, and I didn't take it into account. Thanks Angel, I really appreciate you putting that in there. Arch-mage, as much as I love the character, it would end up conflicting with the style of the RP and can create some serious longevity issues. And... as much as I'd hate to say it, Light could possibly kill the RP in its entirety. I already put a whole lot of work into setting it up, and I don't want to see it killed. Sorry m8, you're gonna have to create a more... "Serious" character (by that I mean a character that's well fleshed out, and can make a whole lot of jokes and stuff but know when to be serious at the right time... you know what I mean).

Listen, I want this RP to be fun for everyone involved. I want this to have elements of romance, comedy, as well as with plenty of action and adventure to come with it. If it's nothing but emo-seriousness, that's gonna be boring and emotionally draining. And cliche. I want something that's fun, for all of us.

Just do me a favor and never put me in a position like this again, you guys hear? I really hate having to pick sides and putting me in a position like this makes me look and feel like a fucking dick. DON'T MAKE ME DO SHIT LIKE THIS AGAIN.
